"I-I-I figured that out," Kurumi blushed now finally letting go of the man's hand. His sleeve was a little wrinkled from her semi-grip-of-death.

Finally calming down a bit, Kurumi stepped out from behind the Groundskeeper and walked near the fence right in front of where the T-Rex was roaring. To the other students, it probably looked at though Kurumi was going to be eaten. "Professor, this model is not the size of a full grown Tyrannosaurus Rex, right?"

Looking back at the creature, Kurumi momentarily lost interest in the fact that she was looking at a dinosaur and began thinking more about the mechanical aspect of it. What all was it made of? How did they get it so move so smoothly?! Kurumi almost wanted to take it a part and find out...

Kurumi's thoughts of taking the dinosaur apart were interrupted by Selina's question.

Um...how did you explain the concept of a robot to someone who grew up having no idea what a robot was? "Selina, this Tyrannosaurus Rex is animatronic which means it is like a giant puppet," she explained pausing for a moment to see if that made sense. Probably not. "Um, think of it this way. Imagine you have a giant stuffed animal and you remove all the cotton from the inside and insert a whole bunch of metal and wires. Electricity makes it move..." Kurumi stopped herself there and looked at the red head's drawing. "Just because it isn't a real one doesn't mean you should stop drawing," she smiled.

Emily tried to hide a smile, but coudn't help it. She put her hand on Nika's shoulder. "Of course you did. It's very life-like though, so I could see why you thought it was real."
Well, not really, but Nika was her friend so she'd try to make her feel better.
She opened up her map and examined it again. Dinosaurs bored her...

Nika let out a sigh, "You could?" Nika smiled at her friend, "Well in that case, I actually had no idea it wasn't real." She was standing quite a distance from the dino because she was afraid it would break the fence to go looking for a "yummy snack". "Oh, Emily since it's not real can we pleeaase go get a closer look?" she held her hands out in front of her and begged Emily to come with her. On the off chance that the dino was real they could always confuse it by running in different directions.

Don't do what?! WHAT?! Pffft. Destiny knew exactly what. Scaring her like that! Her heart could not handle anymore scares like that.

Crossing her arms, she stared at her friend…and…stared some more. Merlin, they had to get the girl’s ears clean. "She said elecktinots, not…eleftinoes." Wait, is that what Destiny had said? She couldn't quite hear properly what with the noise of the crowd, and the people yelling, and that darn elecktrinots dinoswore rawring at them.

Bahahahaha! Five galleons? "No, think of like…a hundred galleons. Or, five hundred galleons." They'd pay a lot!




Meh?

SEE!?!?! Mia knew exactly what was going on! Pssh, they could totally see right through the Professor's lies. LIES!

Or...well Evelyn couldn't decide now if she wanted to know if the dinoswore was alive or not. It ran around and ate people? Well she supposed...if the muggles weren't feeding it properly. It actually kinda looked really weird. But...Destiny distracted her. OMG! That was so true.

"Just one problem there." she muttered, subtly trying to point to the two Professors. Mmhmm, one BIG problem. Or two problems, depending on the way you looked at it.

Staring at the two Professors as she tried to think of a way to dodge them, considering this was BIG money they were talking about, her gaze moved back to the dinoswore after awhile. Hmm, it looked...really really weird. Perhaps it was just like that naturally. Or maybe the muggles gave it weird food so it acted like that.

But...

But who was Destiny talking about? Turning her head, Evelyn first saw Marie and then...wait no, MARIE! "You've been quiet." she said, poking the girl in the shoulder. Teehee.

Poke! Why so quiet? Come talk secret spy stuff with them!

Apparition. Still the most puke inducing mode of transport Isabelle had ever experienced. And she was glad when it was over, and she stood in....a dingy side street. Of course. No public places. Muggles.

Smoothing herself out, and taking a quick look at her watch - which told her she was quite a bit later than everyone else - she strolled off around the corner and stared at the entrance to the museum. Oh boy. So big, and grand, and wonderful. Issy was so glad Maya had allowed her to tag along. This was going to be a fun day. Now all she had to do was find the group.

Having wandered for what seemed like ages, she finally spotted them disappearing around the corner towards another exhibit. Following on behind, Isabelle listened in as the students answered the questions Maya was putting to them, all the while staring at the GINORMOUS T-Rex. Sidling in next to the woman, she leant forward and whispered. "Sorry I'm late. Have I missed all the good bits?" 'Cos she would be SO SAD if she had.

It WAS true that one could feel eyes on them.

It was also true that one could ignore those eyes, or most of them at least. Arya was perfectly capable of ignoring the looks the class and herself especially were receiving from the muggles. She was more than used to being around them, and therefore was completely unphased by the looks. It was almost as if they weren't even there.

Only they were. They were the only things keeping her from pulling her wand out and animating the T-rex to ATTACK Chicken Girl. Who she noticed staring back at her. Hmph! She sent the girl a quick glare before turning back to the dinosaur. Leaning in so only he could hear her.

"She's lucky others are around, else I'd sick you on her."

Smiling at the professor, she nodded her head before glancing up at the dinosaur who was no longer scary. "Teenager, eh? Just like me." Yes, she was talking to the creature. So what? This was NORMAL.

...for Arya at least.

Okay that might have just totally backfired on her. Mia wasn't expecting Destiny to get that excited gleam in her eyes. Like she was right now. She was supposed to be scared about the people eating dinosaur.

"Well...that's not...what...I meant."

Sweet Merlin!!!

She had the feeling that Destiny was going to get them caught up in her madness. Eh she supposed it was only fair after what she had roped them into in Hogsmeade.

Mia glanced behind her to see what who Destiny was talking about and her gaze fell on Arya. She raised her eyebrows before turning back to the Slytherin. "I like Arya. She's a nice girl." Was she the only Puff they were friends with? Or perhaps tolerated?

Watching both Destiny and Evelyn, Mia had to admit that she was definitely missing something between these two. And she didn't even scare them like she had wanted to.

"Maybe you two should let me in on the secret. I'm used to muggles remember." Which means that she could help them out. With whatever they had planned. Something she was probably going to regret getting involved in.

Mia looked over at the two Professors and groaned softly. ""You just had to do something in her class, didn't you?"

When Evelyn began poking someone Mia turned around to see who it was and she chuckled softly as she followed Marie's gaze.

"That's because someone is in looooooove."

Hehe now it was her turn to pick on Marie. Yes, payback for Marie giving her a hard time in the owlery when she had been trying to send her letter to Nik. "We're studying dinosaurs Marie. Not Finaly Carmicheal's."

Helloooooo!!! Snap out of it!!!!

Hm. How to explain. Maybe this was something Jeremy should answer. "It's not a dinosaur that lived 230 million years ago..." Good start! "The Muggles have built one just like a 230 million years ago dinosaur, and this was probably how it looked and moved. But, the Muggles are able to move this one, thanks to mechanical engineering." Okay... "You should ask Professor Zookara when we get back..." Because she wondered if all that made sense.

"Well..." Hey, don't puke. "If humans were aroud at the same time as these dinosaurs, then probably. T Rexes liked to eat." Alot, so she heard.

"It could break free and eat us all." That much was true, because come on, magical things have happened. "But it shouldn't be able to, no." Was that reassuring enough?

"Yes, good. Keep that up now. Everything is fiiiiine." Drink. Coffe. More.

See? Calmer. Calmer was good. "Uh, no, this one isn't half the size an adult T. Rex is." Or so it said where she had read it. "But I bet you can imagine how big an adult one is." ...or was.

Merlin's pantalones! Maya clutched her coffe when suddenly that voice appeared, turning to it and seeing it was Professor Issy. Ay. But, she was glad to see her here. "Professor Magnus, I'm glad you could join us." She smiled. "No, you haven't missed much. Well, this is a rather good bit." Right? Not sure how animatronic the rest of the museum would be though.

As the arrived in the Dinosaur Gallery, Patroclus nearly fainted.


This was just tooo much, toooo much awesome-ness that was!!!!!


Regaining his composure, he threw it to the side, and let out a squeal, that sounded yeah much like a weird piglet sneeze! He was beyond excited.

Realising who was at his side, and the hilarious movements he was doing, Patroclus turned to Jacob and said, "Flying Dinosaurs, nice choice, my personal favourite is the Pterodac-OH MY GOD!"


The Prefect started to hyperventilate, as he bounced on the spot, higher and higher!

He wanted to jump the fence, climb on the T-rex's back and ride him like a broom.........pity he was a loved filled person or else the T-Rex would be great at making quick work of his enemies



PIG SQUEAL!

Emily looked up from her map and raised her eyebrow. She had not expected that.
"Well, um... I..." she looked around for a distraction, but the look on Nika's face was hard to say no to.
"I..." she sighed and gave a small smile "Ok then. Just not too far away from the group." she took Nika's hand and went for a closer look.
Shame the dinosaur still bored her...

As Emily looked around the room, she noticed the transfiguration teacher join their trip. Why were all the teachers coming here?
First the groundskeeper, now transfiguration!
'Guess they want to learn about dinosaurs aswell' she thought.
"Good day Professor Magnus" she said quietly to the teacher.
Now back to staring at the dinosaur robot... yep.

Sierra had been absentmindedly following the group (and doing a bit of suspiciously eying her surroundings, really), when a tremendously load ROOOOOOAR drew her attention to something just around the corner. Her hand instinctively reached for her wand, but of course she stopped herself before actually withdrawing it. They were in Muggle territory, and...well, she didn't want to be the cause of everyone being sent back to the school.

A second later, she'd moved behind some other kid. Was she scared? Well, no, but if someone was going to get eaten alive, it definitely wasn't going to be her! The dinosaur could eat this student while Sierra got away--whoever this student was... Sierra didn't even bother looking. When she finally figured out that the creature was just a fake, she glared at it before walking on and trying to catch up to her friends.

...hadn't missed much?

Right. They'd only been startled nearly right on out of their skin by some fake dinosaur, but no--not much had been missed. Not at all, Professor. Glancing around, Sierra suddenly noticed that the groundskeeper and the Transfiguration professor were present, too. Oh? When had they arrived? They hadn't been with the group all along, had they?

Wow you know the call is cool when 2 outher teacher show up "bet that would be hard to make tap dance Eh proffessor"
seeing the girls a bit freeked out,he moves over closer " Hey you see that "pointing to the round black globe sitting at the base of the display "moving in front of that is what will set it off" stepping up then back,to start the dino moving and roaring "So if you see one of those be prepared for the display to do somthing"

Selina nodded her head along with the Professor's explanation. She had no idea what any of that meant. All she could get from the explanation was that Muggles tried to re-create something that was once alive from whatever, she hesitated to use the word magic, they had. But here it was. Maybe the Muggles were better off without magical intervention. Look at all they had accomplished. Then again that debate had so many sides, no need to bring it up here.

"Um, okay, I'll be sure to do that. And thank you for the helpful explanation." She was still very confused.

Again someone tried to explain to her how the thing moved without magic. Selina tried to keep up with Kurumi's explanation of metal and wires and electricity! How outrageous a concept.

"Electricity?! Are we in danger? Should I get them to leave? I'm really good at getting attention! Give me the cue and I will vacate the premises."

Oh, another proffie. Magnus, to be exact. If he had known she was coming, he would have gotten her a coffee, too. Oops. Chad opted to just smile and wave at her and hope that she took no notice to the coffees.


"Hey Maya," he then started, nudging her slightly. "Do you dare me to jump in with the dinosaur." Chad grinned. He would TOTALLY do it, too.

Something... What... That sound. Is it? No, couldn't be. What is it? With a slight furrowing of her brow, Maya looked around to room, trying to figure out just what was making that sort of high pitched sound.

There it is again!
Standing still, her eyes were drawn to the students. Something there...

Heh, look at that Prefect, looking all excited. Way too excited. Squealy excited. Oh.

Hehehehe.

"Pretty cool, isn't it?" She nodded, hoping to distract him a little, incase he decided to jump over to the T. Rex.

She was awfully quiet. Not in shock, are we? Well, Maya had some chocolate in her bag, just incase. "Are you allright?" She kept asking everyone, but she had to be sure.

Couldn't bring a traumatized student back to Hogwarts, could she?

Heh, that young girl did not look convinced. Bad explanation on Maya's part. "Sure." Maya gave her an akward smile, but was allright when she heard her friend offer another explanation.

Or not.
"Do not worry, we are all fine here!" She tried to placate everyone incase they'd heard the false-alarm.

The Mexicana grinned back. A Dinosaur ROARING away intruders at the gate. That would be awesome. She'd like to put a mexican hat on it. Just for fun.

Her attention was brought back towards the dragon, but once more back to Chad as he... Dared her to dare him?? Oh, you are so on, Grass Man.
Arching an eyebrow, she looked at him as if he were an insane man, INSANE IN THE MEMBRAINE.

"Do it. I dare ya." Infront of aaaaaaaaaaaaall these students. And Merlin help him if they all follow his lead. Hehe.

She wouldn't help him get out.

Yeah she would.

"You have nothing to worry about," Kurumi said shaking her head and momentarily forgetting who she was talking to. "Sometimes these things can shortcircuit and break down, but nothing serious happens. At least, I have never heard of one of these exploding because it got a few of its wires crossed."

"I'm fine, sir," she said blushing a bit more. "S-S-Sorry about your arm." And, well, his shirt for that matter.

"EXPLODING? We are going to die!" Selina began to panic. She heard her Professor off somewhere in the distance trying to calm her down, but she was too busy hyper-ventilating. She was too young to die. All of these Muggles were far too calm for their last few moments on earth.

"Oh Merlin! This is bad!"

Oh Merlin's sparkley pink bonnet! Kurumi nearly fell over the fence around the dinosaur when Selina shouted. "No, we are not," Kurumi whispered grabbing her friend's arm and, well, looking around at all the people who were staring at them. So much for being inconspicuous... "Selina, this thing is perfectly safe. When making robots and whatnot, there is always something installed to help contain any problems," she said calmly rubbing her friend's back. She really didn't know how to explain all this technological stuff well. Takashi was the real brains in the family on the subject.

Selina was trying her hardest not to have a panic attack, "How do you know?" Selina whispered to Kurumi. How was she so sure that they were not going to die? There was no way to know. This was bad, very very bad.

Finally after several minutes of having Kurumi rub her back Selina looked up at Kurumi, "Sorry about that. I was just a little freaked out. Um... can you please explain to me why we are not going to die? If you don't soon I may just cry." Selina tried her hardest to keep her emotions in check. But they were bubbling at the seams.

"It could!?" She was back to being frantic. Place to hide, anywhere. Oh look another sign. Sitting behind a new sign, out of sight of the Dino, she thought about her plan some more.

If she stayed far away from it, she could run while the dinosaur ate the others. The thought of this calmed her down, and she moved out from behind the sign, still staying at the back ofthe group. It wouldn't hurt her to stay away from the dino.

Huh, it needed a better name than dino. She shall call him 'Mr Ferocious Pants and that shall be his name. It shall be Mr Ferocious Pants.

Well, Kurumi couldn't tell Selina that they weren't going to die because, sadly, every one did eventually. Unless you were able to create the Elixir of Life...but she thought that the Sorcerer's Stone had been destroyed nearly a century earlier. "My older brother, Takashi, is better with technology than I am," Kurumi said slowly trying to figure out how best not to freak her friend out earlier. "But there are special devices that prevent it from exploding...kind of like a shield." Kurumi looked at her and hoped she got the subtle reference to Protego.

Selina looked up into her friend's eyes like a puppy dog? "A shield? To protect us? Well, I guess that is smart... and here I was thinking that I was going to die." Selina laughed and looked around the room. She hoped no one had caught her blunder and her moment of weakness. It was too embarrassing to even put into words. Besides Selina was known as being tough and always calm. That was none of the above.

Clearing her throat she continued, "Yeah, well, um thanks Kurumi. I was just slightly confused. Guess it was a bit much, huh?"

Wow! Certainly unexpected the movement of the dinosaur had been and as it was explained Simon listened carefully to all the information. Sure he was somewhat familiar with muggle things but it was always exciting to see knew things. Though a part of him was still trying to figure out how muggles would react to a dragon for the creatures were the closest living relatives to the extinct beasts the students, professors and the rest of the museum's guests were currently gathered around.

Hearing some commotion from another side of the group, the captain glanced around and spotted Kurumi apparently trying to explain things to Selena who looked to not be taking it well. "Everything ok?" he asked quietly as he walked closer to the two younger students and his friends.

Cedric had been watching Destiny and Evelyn for a while, watching them argue over what the dinosaurs were really called. Dinorawr or Dinoswore? Hmm. Pretty close, no? But it was no later time that he'd gotten bored at them so he decided to take a look. And look, they were now at the Dinosaur gallery! Awesome.

His arms crossed, he contemplated the skeletal creatures. They looked normal, like what dead dinosaurs should look and only their bones were found. There were moving dinosaurs as well. However, there weren't any hint or whatsoever that magic was the thing that were making them move.

His gaze probed the entire gallery yet again... and ironically landed on the Transfiguration professor, who seemed to had just arrived... for what? Transfiguration. Transfigure. Dinosaurs. He should have seen this one coming.

Cedric walked slowly and furtively toward the Transfiguration professor, being extra careful lest a certain Mexican woman notice him. But oh, Professor Magnus was talking to Professor Saylen. Well...

"Professor Saylen!" Cedric greeted loudly, feigning cheerfulness, as he at once sidled in next to Professor Magnus. "Look at those dinosaurs... they're moving!" Yeah. LOOK! And then he turned to the one he really desired to talk to. "Professor Magnus," he started, his tone business-like yet almost like a hushed whisper, "You're not going to make those creatures alive, I presume?" If she would, then teach him how! Evil!smirk.

Selina was trying her hardest to contain her embarrassment, but the problem with having red hair was when embarrassing things occurred a blush would creep up so red that it usually matched the hair. From the feel of warmth on her cheeks Selina could tell that the very sensation she had just been thinking about was occurring. It was inevitable. She was beyond embarrassment with her outburst.

Then she heard the voice of Simon call out to her and Kurumi. If possible her blush deepened. It was bad enough that she could already not formulate sentences in front of her Captain because of admiration. Now he was going to think she was crazy too. Well, it was too late for that.

"Yeah, we're fine. I just thought that we were all going to die for a moment there. Kurumi was telling me that some machines sometimes explode and I thought... well you can see where this is going."
