After a nice apparation trip, and another crack!fartingsound! and pop!, the class found themselves in an alleyway, not far from their destination. Making sure every student that signed their name was still with the class, Maya slowly let go of the hands she was holding and called for everyone's attention.
"We're here." Not that she had said where they were going...because, they'd find out soon enough. "Remember, act appropriately and stick together." She did not want to have to come back for someone after returning to Hogwarts.
"Follow me please." Oh they'd better follow her...
A quick walk around the corner and finally, they arrived inside at the main entrance of this magnificent museum - go ahead, you have a moment to take in your bearings. Maybe you already noticed the larger than life skeleton of a Diplodocus nearby, one of many dinosaurs that roamed this earth many years ago. Or perhaps the grandness of the inside architecture has your attention.
There are quite alot of people in here today, tourists from other countries and the United Kingdom aswell. Curious people, perhaps just like all of you.
Having made sure that all the students were still here, Professor Saylen then proceeded to reach into her bag and take out a bundle of museum pamphlets with a map. She'd taken the liberty to mark where they should meet, incase anyone got lost. Also, she'd written her name, incase anyone still didn't know who she was...or simply forgot. Heh.
"Everyone, take one of these," she had to raise her voice a little to be heard over the other buzzing visitors, "Open them and look at the map. See the encircled figure in the middle? That is where we are now. If anyone gets lost, you come back here and wait." Don't go off buying an icecream at the cafe. "...and I will come get you." Allright?
She let them take another moment to gather themselves, study the map a little, and just... maybe stare at the dinosaur bones.

Kita kept her eyes firmly shut as they landed. She didn't need her eyes to be open to know that everything was spinning in that horrible way it does when she travels for a long time in a car.
Slowly, she opened her eyes, just as things were becoming steady again. A small smile spread across her face as she looked around at where they were. The Natural History museum? Really? So that meant that they had apparated to... London?! Woah!
Kita took a map and opened it. Wow, this building was huge. She looked up at the Professor as she asked about the... "Is that a dinosaur?" she asked out loud.
Okay, no pukey-Treyen, right?
A question, yes? "You are here to learn, Mister Lockhart." Haha, oh what a silly answer. Ofcourse.
Oh, good telepathic point there. The kiddies might not actually know where they were. Heh. "Everyone, welcome to the National History Museum. In London." She added that last part in a lower voice, to let them know they were still in the same continent. Hehehe.
"So," Her eyes lit up and she turned towards the dinosaur bones. "Does anyone know what this is?" And if so, "Can anyone tell me what it's scientific name is?" Oooooooooooh. Exciting.
Eyebrow raised. OH, YES.
He fought the urge to reply back and simply...stood there.
What was what? Oh, "You mean, the dragon-wannabe? Nope." And he may have been wanting to annoy Saylen, maybe. Or maybe he truly didn't know what the dinosaur was. There had been so many of them, that who on Earth could know the scientific name of the thing?
Oh. Kurumi did. Blink.

All the spinning had her wishing that Treyen hadn't let go of her hand, and wishing that Sabel was there for support. Leaning on Treyen wasn't an option. He was sorter than her and they'd both end up falling, which would create a domino effect. Not something they wanted right now. So she just wobbled a bit until she got her footing and the world stopped spinning.
She didn't realize where the woman had taken them until they'd entered the museum. This wasn't what she was expecting, and even though it seemed they would be talking about ancient muggle creatures, it was still cool that they were at the museum. "That's a dinosaur." Yes, she was stating the obvious. The world was still a bit spinny and she was too distracted by the fact that they were AT A MUSEUM to give much more than that. "A grass eating one I think." Ah, there, more information.
She'd only barely glanced at the map in her hand before going back to the museum.
But, hold on, did Arya need some help? Nah, their trio (meaning Aaron, Treyen and Arya) were strong enough as to not need help after Apparating. Though, he couldn't wait until he gets to do so on his own. Not that he'll be doing that a lot.
'A grass eating one'. Haha. Good one. "Herbivore, Arya." Tsk. She knew that.

OH. MERLIN.
Yes, Saylen had said it. Ellie fought off the urge to bite her lip- she knew from experience that that would NOT be fun- and closed her eyes.
Once her feet hit solid ground again, she opened her eyes back up. Warily. "Ow." There were far too many people apparating at once. It just made everything tighter and bumpier. Gross. "Let's never do that again." Never. She used her non-Treyen hand to rub her head. That was not fun at all.
She looked over at Arya who seemed to be less stable. "Alright?" Hmm.. she got her bearings soon enough it seemed. And she certainly didn't pull away from Treyen's hand. She kinda just...didn't think about it.
Ellie walked along with the class to the museum. She'd never been here. She took a pamphlet, again with her free hand. It was HUGE. Like GIGANTIC. Woah. Just woah. And she looked at the HUGE, GIGANTIC, WOAH dinosaur skeleton.
Woah.
"You okay?" yes, that same question again, and since they'd established that he could ask it without any particular reason, then it was all good.
He couldn't help it. Treyen chuckled at her comment about the Apparition part. "Let's not."
Oooooh, and when Ellie turned to Arya, the boy actually forgot to ask his friend the same question he'd asked Ellie. It was only polite to do so, even if he didn't think it necessary. Arya was always alright.
Treyen followed the Ravenclaw's gaze and actually wondered how big was this compared to an actual dragon. You know, the biggest dragons. Which were...?
Oh, and yes, he was still holding her hand, of course.
Jaina raised her hand excitedly. Something she knew!!! "Professor, that's a dinosaur. More exact, I believe it to be the bones of a Brachiosuarus." Jaina was beaming with pride. She was glad she remembered to put the kerchief on her hair....it was probably purple!
Jacob said nothing to Emily, his mouth was gapping. What just happened? This wasn't anypart of hogwarts he'd ever seen... and then the Professor answered.
London? But they were just in Hogwarts, and he was pretty sure he'd heard somewhere that you can't apparate off school grounds. And more importantly, they were in a humongous muggle filled museum... Jacob could get lost... actually there was only a very small percent that he wouldn't get lost.
Jacob was gonna be left behind!
...
Oh look, Big bones.
Jacob got closer to the large dead creature. "It's a huge... dead" obviously. "Creature... that could stomp on me, and most likely laid eggs." most likely... cause you know, acient creatures always laid eggs
"It's a dinosaur! Or well it was a dinosaur..." Nika blurted out.
Emily laughed and went to stand by her friend. "Is it?" she asked looking up at it. Wierd thing wasn't it? "You excited for this?" It was a field trip in their own lesson! Awesome! Shame they had to be around... muggles. She got enough muggle-ness at home thank you very much.
She looked at the map and examined it. 'The earth lab' Sounded interesting. Mabye Nika would want to go there?
One second blackness was rushing past in a whirlwind of motion and the next they all came to an abrupt halt in a bright entranceway. Her eyelashes fluttered a bit as she blinked at the change in lighting. With a shake of her head to clear the temporary disorientation Ivory released the firstie's hands and took an involuntary step forward to look around....at the alley?
Her face showing her bewilderment, she brought a hand to her stomach. Oh Merlin, side along apparation was definitely not for an everyday thing. The queasiness alone...
In an attempt to ignore the funny feeling in her stomach, she straightened up slightly as Professor Saylen asked everyone to stay together and follow her. Pausing where she was for a moment as everyone began to move forward, she lagged back a bit and helped usher along everyone along, finally moving ahead herself when she was positive no one had been left behind.
Skipping a bit to catch up as they rounded the corner, Ivory couldn't help the large smile that grew on her face as she realized where they were. Arching her neck to admire the arched windowed ceiling, she bounced a bit on her heels. Ooooh, she hadn't been here in years.
Tuning into what was going on, Ivory accepted the pamphlet and promptly opened it up to give it a once over. She was here. Right at that spot. Right in front of the dinosaur.
Raising a hand a bit,she piped in to the variety of answers around her. "Fossils, Professor. Fossils of a now extinct dinosaur."
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."
Alice had never traveled like that before but she couldn't help but reach her hand up to her head to try and stop the room from spinning. She turned her head and saw that Lexi was standing next to her with a rather repulsed looking facial expression while Salander was running the other direction.
Poor Sal. She felt weird but she wasn't going to puke. Giving Lexi's hand a little squeeze to steady herself, the room eventually stopped spinning and she realized they were standing in front of a rather large collection of dinosaur bones in what Alice could tell was a museum. Neat!
"Wow, pretty cool huh?" Alice whispered to Lexi, uncertain as to whether or not they should be talking at normal level for fear of drawing unnecessary attention from the nearby muggles.

"Never better." She gave Ellie a smile. It wasn't one hundred percent true, but this wasn't her first apparation, so she knew she would be back to her normal bubbly self very soon. Treyen's answer had her stiffling a giggle, shaking her head slowly. Dragon-wannabe, he was silly.
Ah. That was the word she'd forgotten. Herbivore. She grinned at Treyen. "I knew that.....I was just giving someone else a chance to respond." Yup. Thaaaat was the reason. Not her being dizzy from apparating or the museum itself.

"Yes, I'm fine." BEAM. "There're just too many people. I'm pretty sure they," she nodded over to the person who had taken her other hand, "Hit my head with theirs." Ow.
And she smiled at Arya. Good.
Ellie snorted in her attempt to NOT laugh at the 'dragon wannabe', but since the snort gave it away, she just didn't care. So she LAUGHED at that. It was totally true. They're completely jealous they don't spit fire and fly and are ferocious. They're just pathetic.

Mia didn't like it any better the second time round. When they all landed in the museum, she felt her knees wobble a little and she let go of whoever's hand she was holding and almost crumpled to the floor.
Taking a few deep breaths, she looked around the room they were in and raised her hand. "It's the bones of a dinosaur." She had no idea which dinosaur it was, she was too busy trying not to throw up on the floor.

What...on in Merlin's...name had they just done...?
Vashti thought the name of this teleportation sort of thing was Apparation or something like that - her mind was a little fuzzy right now so she wasn't sure. Whatever it was, she was definitely not planning on ever using it. She'd stick with brooms or the Knight Bus or something to get somewhere. This was too...nauseating...
She perked up a little though when she realized they were in a museum - a natural history museum. Now this was Vashti's kind of class!
And dinosaurs! Vashti liked those things too. Learning about them at least. She eyed the dino bones that were set up, trying to recall what she knew about these. After a few seconds she raised her hand. "I'm not sure about its specific name," was there a plaque she wasn't seeing?, "but I think the - I guess - 'type' of dinosaur it is is a sauropod. They're the ones with the really long necks, and they're usually really big."Big was probably an understatement...

"They're bones, or fossils I suppose is the more appropriate term, of dinosaurs. They existed around the time cavemen did," said Alice with a little smile, looking back at the dinosaur bones in front of her with a smile. She had visited some museums like this when she was younger and went to muggle school, but she didn't think she'd ever been to this one. The fact that Salander still hadn't returned made Alice a little nervous. "Do you think Salander is alright?" Alice asked, figuring Lexi would know better than her.

Chad made sure to move quietly around the students and over to where Maya was standing, not wanting to disturb the students as they answered questions. Such smarties.
Once beside her, he held out her coffee for her to take. It was his way to say 'thank you' for her agreeing to put up with him for the day. Heh. Heavens knew how much of an accomplishment that would be...

Really!
"Miss Hollingberry, do I need to remind you of the rules you agreed upon? Or do both of you wish to return to Hogwarts this instant??"
Errr... No puking in this Museum. Sorry, bro. Maybe he needed some water. Or not. "Uh..." thankyou? Nervous smile. "Mister White, do not wander off now." Really.

Emmy beamed at Professor Saylen's question - dinosaurs had been her specialist subject pre-Hogwarts, and she'd almost grown up in this very museum.
Raising her hand politely, she said, "That's the herbivore, Diplodocus carnegii, Professor."
She could even see a couple of staff members that she used to be friendly with floating around nearby.
She wondered idly if they remembered her... Probably not, she decided.
"Sorry, Professor," Kurumi said folding up the pamphlet. She had become overly excited about being on a field trip. "It has been a while since I have been to a national history museum. Won't happen again."
Kurumi's hand shot up. "Professor, I believe that that is a Diplodocus carnegii, but it is more comonly known as Diplodocus. Their name comes from its unique bones in its tail meaning 'double beam.'"
Maya's eyes remained narrowed at the two girls for a moment longer, as they explained themselves. She could imagine it, everyone dissapearing in this gigantic museum and Maya would have to explain to the Headmaster why the hell they had not returned to school with her.
Ugh... "Allright." Yes, let's not see that happening again. "I know it's exciting and all." She hoped.
"Yes, indeed it is a type of Diplodocus." she nodded at the girl.

'A grass eating one'. Haha. Good one. "Herbivore, Arya." Tsk. She knew that.
Dragon wannabe? Oh...
OOOH.
He didn't.
But he did! "A dragon-wannabe, huh? Maybe this is the super-great grandfather of a dragon." Yeah, think about that. "Good wording, Mister Lockhart."

"Good guess, Miss Maloney. But this is actually a...relative to the Diplodocus." Hm, made sense?

Oh, they were all getting good with words! "Fossils, that is correct. Good answer, Miss Erised."

Bones, fossils. Nice. "Yes, yes it is, Miss Gibbins." Nod nod.

"Yes indeed. This dinosaur is a type of Sauropod. Good answer."

She could even see a couple of staff members that she used to be friendly with floating around nearby.
She wondered idly if they remembered her... Probably not, she decided.
"Yes, indeed it is, Miss Frost." the Mexicana nodded.

Dinosaur. :3
Okay, so far everything was going allright, but she could feel the immense rise in excitement in this great room and Maya's curiosity was itching to run around and absorb the information... EVERYWHERE.
So, hopefully she wouldn't tell them to stay here while she went on a happy trip around the museum.
!
Oh dear Merlin. He was here, and he brought...coffe. She saw Chad come closer and tried her best not to snatch that delicious drink out of his hand. Ahem. She was really going to be needing this. "Gracias, Mister Stryker." She gave him a smile and gratefully accepted the coffee.
"Everyone, you all know Mister Stryker, the Groundskeeper." She adressed the class again, though the man didn't need an introduction. "He will be joining us today."So you can't escape."I'm glad you could be here. This might get a little too exciting." If he knew what she meant. Another smile his way.
Everyone ready to move on?"Allright, let's head on over to the Dinosaur Gallery, shall we?" And then she very much turned serious, "Follow me." Practically glared at them all as if she could read their little 'Run-off-and-play' plans in their minds. She started making her way to the Dinosaur Gallery on their left, keeping close to the Groundskeeper.

Charley was about to raise her hand when Jaina's shot up next to her.
She decided not to answer; She was likely the most knowledgeable student in their year, if not more, whereas Jaina's muggleborn heritage hadn't allowed her to earn that. She smiled over at Jaina. The miniscule amount of hair Charley could see from underneath the handkerchief Jaina'd worn was now a very pretty lavender. Charley reached over gently and pulled the handkerchief so that it covered all of Jaina's hair. With how quickly the colour changed Jaina would be violating the rules, as if she were accidentally transforming into her animal form.
Charley slid her wand further into her bag for safekeeping, heeding the sleeping kitten, and opened the map in front of Jaina and herself.

As the feeling of Aparation disapated....Patroclus found himself in one of the greatest place in the world.
And he was actually not that far from his house....perhaps if he just slipped away, he did miss his Mother and Father.......actaully Father may be here?!?!?!?
Pushing the thoughts of a Family reunion to the side, Patroclus did a little jig, a very little one, compared to the desire he had within to bounce around and scream with joy.
"Professor," Lovely professor, "That is the Diplodocus carnegii, and from Fossil evidence, it had been decided that it lived primarily in what is now North Western America, during the Late Jurassic Period."
It was a small wonder Patroclus loved Dinosaurs, Archealogoy was what he was brought up on!
-----
And they were off, as the class began to move, Patroclus realised he had quite the hop in his step......actually you would probably class him as skipping.
He just could not help himself.
Trying his best not to power-skip past the professor, Patroclus was finding it rather quiet a struggle! He want to grab her hand and drag her to the Dinosaur Gallery fast!
Faster Professor, Faster!!!!!

Ugh... "Allright." Yes, let's not see that happening again. "I know it's exciting and all." She hoped.
"Yes, indeed it is a type of Diplodocus." she nodded at the girl.
Kurumi blushed and bowed her head. She needed to be on the Professor's good side if she was going to ask about perhaps adopting an Abraxan later.

"Good day, Mister Stryker," Kurumi said bowing slightly to him as her eyes took a quick glance towards the coffee he had given to Professor Saylen. Interesting...
Then, out of pure habit, Kurumi grabbed onto Selina's hand as they began to followed the professors towards the dinosaur exhibit. Her elementary school had always put extra emphasis on the buddy system. Sadly, no one had ever wanted to be her buddy, so she had always been partnered up with the teacher. Her heart skipped a beat and she put just a little bit of bounce into her step for no other reason than she was really happy to be holding hands with a friend.

Chad smiled in return to the young male's greeting and then chuckled. "Oui, Monsieur. Did you not know? I am a certified student coral-er. Plus, I like museums." Oop. Maya seemed to be on the move.
"Come now, follow Professor Saylen before we all get lost." Not that there was anything wrong with that, really...

"Mademoiselle Hollingberry," he smiled, giving her a little wave and then taking a sip of his delicious Irish Cream coffee. Mmmm.
"Enjoy the museum so far, I hope?" He motioned for her to walk with him so that they could follow Maya, but still talk. He was an excellent multi-tasker.

DINOSAURS. :3
Rawr.
"Come, students. Plenty to see and little time to do so. Marche, mes amis," he smiled, starting to usher students along with one hand. The other was preoccupied with delicious coffee. Yum.
"You are having a fun time already, Madame Saylen," he smiled. "The students seem to be excited about this. Excellent idée."

Guess who just got back today. Them wild-eyed boys that had been away.
Haven't changed that much to say. But man, I still think them cats are crazy.
They were askin' if you were around. How you was, where you could be found....
Riley walked behind Professor Saylen and the Groundskeeper eyeing them suspiciously. Maybe they thought being surrounded by dead things was romantic? Oh well he could be reading the situation wrong Definately not, Riley wasn't wrong very often.
The Gryffindor boy followed them towards the Dino-gallery looking wide-eyed at the historical things and Muggles alike. 'Oh! Was that a Camera?!' he had a mini freak out to himself.
