I will be on drums in the corner left, and Kurumi right beside me. I'll have a meeting soon enough for you to meet them all. But what do you think?"

Septimus, long-lost brother. Adam, drums in left corner. Kurumi right next you also on drums? I think I gotcha. Forive my asking, but are you and Septimus really brothers?" Elyon found that part very odd, but it very well could be true!
When Adam asked what she thought, Elyon beamed at him and flung her arms around him, giving him a big hug. "It's wonderful! You're doing an amazing job at organizing this whole thing and I'm really proud of you! I can't wait to meet everyone! I feel like I finally have friends!" By the end of her little speech, Elyon was simply glowing. |

" I don't think we are. We need more evidence, he believes just looks alone will make us brothers..."Adam said raising an eyebrow.
" Thanks...Wait? What? What do you mean "you finally have friends?You...You don't have friends?"Adam asked.
Then remembering his short conversation with her brother, Chris, Adam remembered he had said Elyie wasn't the best at making friends because she was different. Now hearing it from her, made Adam feel terrible.

Now hearing it from her, made Adam feel terrible. "Hmm. Since you've mentioned to me before that you are Muggleborn, then I don't see much possibility in you two being brothers." She shrugged. That's be nice if they were brothers, though. She loved having a brother, though she occasionally longed for a sister.
Elyon looked up at Adam, her blue eyes sparkling. "No, not really. Though I do have three! Selina, Christopher, and you! Most people think I'm a freak, which isn't a very nice thing to say. But I don't mind! Most of those people are mean anyway. I'd rather not have mean friends." She remembered how mean all of the children in her Muggle town where. She was glad people at Hogwarts were different. |

" That's awesome. Have you got any other personal material we could use to build up on around the band. I could do a little fancy play on on the drumset and you and Elyon could work on some tunes - like the notes and beats...?I still need to get Kurumi and Septimus in here for the meeting to start up soon."Adam thought out loud, thinking about the remaining 2 band members.

Elyon smiled up at the older boy, who looked quite familiar. She held out her hand to shake his. "Hello Hugo! It's nice to meet you!" She didn't notice the awkward silence before the uke finally zoomed into the room. She didn't know much about social cues, as she wasn't very social at all. She was very Luna Lovegood in a school full of Harry Potters. "Wow! I play the ukelele, but I'm nowhere near as wonderful as you are!" She smiled wide-eyed as he played, making a mental note to practice more when she got home this summer. "Okay! I'd very much like to work on some tunes!" She giggled, very excited at how well Adam was managing everything. She always knew he could do it! |

"Thanks for the offer though. Maybe some other time we can talk about... him." Or not. "What makes you think I was thinking you kissed her? I just asked what you did. That could mean lots of things." Okay, maybe she was thinking he kissed her, but she wasn't going to let him know that's what she was thinking. "You can't find the right way to let her know you have a girlfriend? Why is that even an issue Evan? And why is it so hard to say, I have a girlfriend, her name is Mina?" She looked at him like she was about ready to shove him off that desk if his answer was something stupid. Prefect or not she would remind him of what happens when he cheats on his girlfriend. Evan raised one eyebrow as Marie said she didn't want to talk about James. That made him think something was wrong, but then maybe she just wanted to discuss him. Shrugging at last, he said "I still haven't met 'officially', y'know. A train platform and a few seconds in a ball doesn't count for me." He still didn't know if the boy liked football or not, for example.. and that meant he didn't know him at all.
He gave her a look. "C'mon now, we both know that was what you first thought," he said. "Because of what happened right here." There, was she happy that they had to remember the bad events of past? He shook his head. Looking up at her once again as she--just as he'd imagined--pointed out it shouldn't even be an issue, he looked at her as if he was doubting her brains. "Because... there grew some sort of thing that if I make a mistake, it'll break her heart. And I obviously do not want to lose a... friend." Made sense? Perfectly. |

She dropped her hand and nodded her head vigorously. "YEAH! That would be awesome actually. A... friend? helped me a bit, but I am not sure if I am concentrating too hard or not enough. And let's be honest... a sixth year is not as great a teacher as a fully grown wizard," she said as she looked at her things scattered across the flooor. Since there was an adult with her now... sitting on the floor might not work. Hehehe. Old people seldom sat in the floor after all. Ikenna did not say anything, at first, as Lexi at least appeared embarrassed. He made a thoughtful shrugging motion and then waved his hand. "It is no matter."
Either she would grow, mature, and learn to hold her tongue at times, or she would not. He was not concerned with child development at the moment, for now he had something tangible to focus upon.
Teaching. "I see. Well, it is good you have friends to ask for help. I do rely upon my friends as well." He smiled and flicked his want out into his hand to tap it thoughtfully against his opposite palm. "Let's make this area a little more conductive to learning, shall we?" Ikenna swirled his wand at Lexi's papers and books and they obediently came to rest in a neat pile on an unused desk. How lucky they were in a classroom, no?
He studied the tidy pile thoughtfully and then turned his head to study Lexi. "Hmm. Stand where you are, please, and try a simple Wingardium Leviosa at the books I have just stacked. Out loud, if you will."

She watched Ikenna closely as he summoned her things to rest on a nearby desk. She nodded at his request. Levitating charm. Piece of cake. " Wingardium Leviosa," she said clearly as she gave the little swish and flick.
Not to her surprise the pile of books and such began to levitate off of the top of the desk with no problem. She smiled slightly and kept her eyes on the stack as she made them levitate a bit higher and then stop.

So... he had come, you see.
Cedric chose this place to be their partner's workplace on doing the Arithmancy homework because it was umm, empty? Private? He knew this room was where lovers usually go to, to conduct some inappropriate behaviour and all... But before you think about this whole thing with entire malice, guess what? Cedric just thought this place was perfect 'cause it was empty. Totally silent, noise-free, yep. Perfect for doing some tedious work. And if ever his partner, who was a bit likely to scream, well, scream, nobody would hear much.
Destiny for a partner couldn't be that bad a choice, no? Well, he'd got no choice but to take Destiny as his Arithmancy homework partner. All of his other friends must have had partners already. He could ask Treyen, the Lockhart boy, to partner with him but for all he knew, that boy was just pretty much intimidated by his ever so brooding and effervescent presence.
The Hufflepuff Prefect walked in, noiselessly. He raked a hand through his dark curly hair as his muddy brown eyes started to wander, contemplating the whole room in mere scrutiny. No icky spiders or insects. Just. Perfect. Buuuut, tapeworms are welcome, yes... if, at any rate, they could just be with Destiny all the time. Now, where is Destiny? Fashionably late, maybe? Or... walking through the ceilings? Hmm.

Arithmancy homework with Cedric.
Arithmancy homework with Cedric in the deserted classroom eleven. This was going to be fun.
Taking her good ole' time, Destiny finally arrived at the classroom and pressed her face against the glass on the door. Well, she wasn't going to go in that room alone. She had to make sure Cedric was there already and to make sure this wasn't one of his tricks to infest her with more tapeworms. Because he totally gave them to her last time.
Once she spotted him and deciding he wasn't up to anything shifty, she peeled her face off the glass and opened the door. She wished she brought her horn with her. She could have honked it when she walked in, like she was some type of high royalty. Then Cedric would have to bow to her and feed her grapes while fanning her with a huge leaf.
But, since she didn't bring her horn.. "CEDRIC! What are you doing?"
He looked lost.

But, since she didn't bring her horn.. "CEDRIC! What are you doing?"
He looked lost. Cedric was not at all startled to begin with, or to say the least, or whatever. Now that was what he was saying... or thinking! That Destiny girl was really quite likely to scream. Well, she just DID anyway. Pfft. Good thing he wasn't caught off guard. He'd prepared for it! He'd cocked his head to one side so he was facing the door so he knew who'd come in and yes, Destiny came in and shouted. She just shouted. Tsk.
Well, he couldn't hide the fact that he was actually expecting Destiny to be crawling on the ceiling. Hence his head was looking up. But yeah... he heard the heavy footsteps similar to that of a giant coming towards his direction.
What was he doing? HMM.
"Expecting you, I guess." Cedric gave the Slytherin girl a mere smile that looked more like a smirk than a genuine smile. Let's get this done with... quickly? Time is gold, you know.

He just looked so lost that the only way for him to find his way back would be to yell his name. Besides, if she was trying to scare him, she would have did something that he would have never expected. Like, come through the ceiling.
And of course he wasn't scared since he was expecting her already. Well duh he was expecting her, this was his idea and all. Ignoring that creepy smirky, smile thing of his, she made her way over to a desk in the front of the room and plopped down. A seat in the front of the room. Closest to the door. Just in case Cedric tried anything shifty she'd be able to make a quick escape.
Who would have thought Arithmancy could be so dangerous? "So," she started, unpacking her bag and not bothering to wait for him to sit, "I think you should go first. Ask your question and I will tell you the answer."
Mwaha!

Mwaha! Cedric watched Destiny as she took a seat in the front of the room. Didn't even apologize for her tardiness, huh? Not a good thing. Cedric blundered forward, making his way towards the front. He jammed himself into the chair as soon as he reached it. Heh. Didn't think he would follow her there, no? Well, how were they going to do the task when they were so faaaaar away from each other. It wasn't like he'd going to kiss her, you know. Really. He wasn't even notorious on snogging girls. How come he could be notorious of snogging odd girls?
He gave Destiny yet another smirk. He knew Destiny sort of freaked out at beholding his knowing smirks. It was very likely that she did. Aaand... his smiles are things undoubtedly worthy to behold and relish. Sarcasm put aside, she'd better enjoy him smiling as long as he was doing so.
And she now unpacked her bag. Good. So had she brought her materials? He hadn't really brought his. And... whaa? Should he really be the first? "You should go first. Trust me." Smiiirk. "Look, even though I myself don't get and want to believe it, you are a lady. And it's violating the gentlemen's act not allowing the ladies have their way first at certain things."

Glancing over to Cedric when he sat in the seat next to her, Destiny inwardly flinched at that smirk on his face. Why did people smirk at her? It was like they knew it creeped her out or something. And Cedric, well, he was just evil enough to do something like that to her on purpose. Fine. He could smirk all he wanted to. Destiny would not look at him.
But, she had to look at him especially after that little speech he had just given. Glaaaaaare. He didn't want to believe that she was a lady!? CEDRIC!! The EVIL Hufflepuff. He was so lucky that she didn't pull out those Chinese Fortune Sticks yet or he would have had two sticking out of his eyes right then.
Why did she partner up with him?
Scoffing and huffing, Destiny finished pulling out the things from her bag and handed Cedric the Fortune Sticks. "Well, since I don't see a gentleman in the room, this 'Gentleman's Act' you speak of is not in effect. You go first."

She digged inside her purse and pulled out her wand and her watch and said Clementaand did the movements up/down, left/right, circle, jab, and watched as the compass became a compass ...She made sure it was pointing North and then thought of each little detail and said the incantation when a thought came to mind..At the end of it, it had a lid that clicked open and it showed if it was Northeast, Northwest, North,South,Southeast and so on...

Not to her surprise the pile of books and such began to levitate off of the top of the desk with no problem. She smiled slightly and kept her eyes on the stack as she made them levitate a bit higher and then stop. "Excellent," Gevrik said in a clear, encouraging tone. "You have no problem levitating them verbally."
He stroked his chin quickly and then crossed his arms. "Now what is your first reaction to make them stop levitating? Do it without saying a word, Lexi, just make the books stop levitating."

Lexi beamed as he praised her and she felt her confidence go up a good notch. She didn't have trouble levitating things verbally, it was lack of concentration that kept her from doing nonverbals as well. Or perhaps overthinking.
Hearing his question she knit her brows together and shrugged. " I typically stop levitating just by losing my concentration or I just... stop. I am not sure how I make it work really," she said as she stopped thinking about the levitating books and they... fell with a great clatter. She had never really thought about what she did to stop them before.
" Mister Ikenna, can I ask you something?" she said timidly. Although one could figure it to be mock timidity.

"Well, since I don't see a gentleman in the room, this 'Gentleman's Act' you speak of is not in effect. You go first." A loud groan escaped from his quirking lips. His brows then furrowed in utmost annoyance. The Hufflepuff wasn't pleased to say the least. At all. Why did he even ask Destiny to be his partner? Ugh. It was then at this very moment that he realized Marie was right, that she still needed to warn him that her friend tends to be crazy at times. And by at times, he hadn't thought that rather meant always.
But he knew he gotta keep his cool and all. He always kept his cool. "Alright, alright," Cedric finally uttered. They got to finish the homework as soon as possible so he thought he should stop arguing for his Arithmancy homework's sake. And Destiny seemed to be on the brink of breaking down because of what he said that he didn't think she was a lady, and he didn't really like seeing crying girls so... yeah. He'd just play nice. "Hand me the set." Cue polite smile. "Please."
Anyway, what sort of questions should they ask? Ugh. Another thing to sort out.

| Transfig HW#1 Post #4 Ability is nothing without Opportunity | | Creativity is Intelligence having FUN
From the upper floors, Salander made his way down, passing by the student bulletin board and read up on messages. Hmm looks like Eino got his hunting club going... he mused as he entered the classroom.
That reminded him of something as he lay the wooden compass on the table. It would be cool to have a compass that would actually be appropriate to take on a hunt. He looked at the compass for a moment, closed his eyes and envisioned something he could use for the outdoors. Aha I got it!
Opening his eyes, he made the cross circular jab with his wand and uttered a strong "Comletia!". Suddenly the wooden box started flipping away from him, teetered over the edge of the desk and fell.....
He sprang to his feet and caught the compass just before it hit the floor. It has changed already, he knew that much just by the feel of it. The box slid open in his hand to reveal a military-like compass. "Nice!" he murmured as he stared at the new transformation. "Do you work?..." he wondered aloud as he unconsciously made for the door following the swinging needle....

Cassie could probably think of fifty more places she would rather be right now instead of here at Hogwarts seeing 'them' every couple of turns she made. It upset her more than anything she could think of and that unsettled her. She had never cared about anything enough for it to make her this sad until now and she just needed an escape.
That was why Cassie storm was sitting in this empty classroom by her lonesome in the corner with her head on the desk. She wanted to be away from people and away from everything that would make her think of the problem resting heavily on her shoulder. She hadn't even realised that she was crying until she opened her eyes and saw the pool of water on the table and tears dripping from her noes into the pool of tears. How did she not realise that she had been crying?
Sigh. What had she become? A silly guy who cried because she liked a guy or liked someone else? That was dumb. The Cassandra Storm that first started Hogwarts never let anything so trivial upset her. Yet here she was, sitting in a dark empty classroom crying.

Cedric looked really annoyed and angry all of a sudden. Destiny figured Arithmancy was the reason; all those numbers. Yeah, numbers annoyed and angered her, too.
But then the Hufflepuff was saying alright and telling her to hand him the set and..Merlin, were ALL Hufflepuff's this confusing? One minute they were angry and the next they were being nice and even smiling.
Raising a brow and shaking her head slightly, she handed Cedric the Fortune Sticks. "Right, so I guess you can just ask anything. Then shake the sticks and then I will interpret the answer."
Or she would try and interpret the answer. She probably should have told Cedric that she failed at this kind of stuff.
