| | |  Charms Practice Hall
This is the area next to the Charms classroom. It is accessed through a medium-sized door that remains unlocked most of the time, and has been enchanted to hold far more space than a normal classroom.
Inside, there are stations that permit one to practice regular charms, against one wall. Each station is dedicated to different objects, from saucers and teacups to cushions and plush toys.
Dummies that react to simple charms and minor jinxes and hexes stand next to another wall.
The center of the room is free of any items, and several easy chairs have been placed in an airy and illuminated corner, far from the stations and dummies, so that students might sit. This is also the corner that houses a bookshelf containing a number of informative books on charms, though these books are enchanted so that they cannot be taken out out of the hall.
There is a notice stuck next to the door that reads:
☛ Students are free to utilize this room for reading or finishing an assignment at all times, but Professor Descoteaux must be asked for permission before any charms are practiced here.
OOC: Since the door is usually unlocked, a student can technically enter and practice without supervision, but please remember that if [s]he does so, Jared is going to react accordingly.

It would be the same movements and spell, but you just concentrate on how much further to fill it?" She didn't want to attempt it if it couldn't be done.

He summoned a plastic teacup, pointed his wand at it, clockwise circle, anti-clockwise circle, incantation, and the teacup changed shape, now a closed ball.
"Go ahead and give it a try," he said, reverting the ball back to its original shape. That of a teacup.

He saw the tub of water that Jaina and her trainer were working with, and pushed forcefully with his wand pointed at it. The big ball of water flew by the professor and hit the tub so hard, that he actually moved it closer to Jaina. "Wow! Was that good, professor?"

Once she saw the ball of water, she did the wands movements and said "Wingardium leviosa!" and sent the ball of water to Benjamin and hitting him with it. "Sorry!" she giggled. "As you can see, I'm great at that, but have a hard time with aguamenti." she said between giggles. "I'm really sorry, but I just had to since you missed class. I'm sorry, Professor, for interupting. It was a fantastic class and as you can see, I learned a lot!" Ben was going to kill her for that one. She smiled and mouthed Please don't kill me, I really had to do that! and blew him a kiss.

When she was ready, she brought her wand up and preformed the spell again. This time, looking into it, she saw a few drops still at the bottom. Well, that was better, she thought. "Its supposed to dry all the water right?" she asked. "I'd say Evapora, but remember that evaporation has a cooling effect so, if you don't want a towel that's a little cool and stiff, Tergeo is a better option."
"I can understand," Jared grinned. As a child, he had been fascinated by muggles, and could guess their reactions to such a display of magic. "Once you've mastered it, only the water you want to," he said, in response to Emmaleigh's question. "If it's half the contents of the goblet you're aiming for, it's half the contents of the goblet that are going to disappear."

Emily leaned against the wall, her wand in one hand and a bag of nessesary stuff for her and Nika to practice on in the other. She had been there for ages. Where was Nika?
She woudn't have chickened out. They were just gonna practice some simple stuff. She'd be here, she was just... running late. Yeah that was it. Running late.
She glanced down the corridor. No sign of her. Well she might as well get set up.
With one more glance she entered the room. She'd expected it to be empty but the teacher was actually here! She woudn't get in trouble would she?
"Um, excuse me Professor Descoteaux? But would it be ok for me and Nika to practice in here?" You know, once she arrived. And this was the charms practice room after all. It'd be wierd if he said no. | |

Emily entered the Charms practice hall... she hadn't utilised the room this term, so she had decided it was about time to do some charm-casting.
Upon entering the room she saw Professor Descoteaux near by.
"Hi Professor, just wondering if I could pracice here?" she asked politely, grinning from ear to ear.
She particularly wanted to practice three of the charms they had learned this term. The banishing charm, the freezing charm- though she knew that one quite well, and the disillusionment charm.
