| | |  Care of Magical Creatures Nursery
 Not too far away from the CoMC professor's cottage stands a great stone building, which has been on these grounds for many years. Come inside, and you shall see many spacious crates, of all sorts and sizes, lining the walls. If you have a peek inside these crates, you'll be delighted to find the inhabitants are baby magical creatures – some are sweet, cute and even ugly 
If you want to care for these precious creatures, have a look beside the door to find shelves stocked with many supplies, like dragonhide gloves, goggles, brushes, clean rags and everything else you might need.
Just outside the back door of the stone building is the designated closed-in play area for your baby to roam around in the warm sun. Beware of any aiborne and/or land roaming predators that might want to snatch the baby away from you – which is why it is very important that you always look after the young creature in your care. Also, when you are done, be sure to properly close all crates and pens, and make sure you return the supplies to their proper place. If you need any other tools, take a look in the Food & Tool Shed.
Come on in and let your creature get to know you.
If you need any help or sense a problem, go and get Professor Saylen. Please treat these wonderful creatures with respect, or you will know the wrath of the Professor.

Slipping into the nursery, her eyes wondered around aimlessly as she removed each article of outerwear and placing them on a table. This wasn't the first time she'd visited the nursery, but it would be the first time she could play with her clabbert. Running a hand through her hair, she peeked into his cage with a smile, only for it to falter a bit. His cage was dirty again.
"This must be my punishment for abandoning you." Rafiki's only response was to crouch in the back of his cage, ready to pounce when she opened the door. Grinning, she open the cage and held out a hand for him to hop on. Once she hand him in her grasp, he let him wrap his long arms around her neck while she went to gather some cleaning supplies.

Running a hand through her hair, she peeked into his cage with a smile, only for it to falter a bit. His cage was dirty again.
"This must be my punishment for abandoning you." Rafiki's only response was to crouch in the back of his cage, ready to pounce when she opened the door. Grinning, she open the cage and held out a hand for him to hop on. Once she hand him in her grasp, he let him wrap his long arms around her neck while she went to gather some cleaning supplies. It had been pure luck when Ivory had been looking outside a random window on her way down the stairs that she'd seen her best friend crossing the grounds. Excited beyond belief considering between her schoolwork, responsibilities and general busy-ness they hadn't really had a chance to talk about stuff not homework related, she took off at a run.
Grinning as she realized where her friend was headed, Ivory slowed down until she'd finally stepped into the Nursery. Oh it'd been a while since she'd last been here. Before Sonic had been released to join a family of knarls in some distant place. A twinge of sadness crossed her heart at remember how much she missed her little guy, but no its was for the best. A knarl couldn't be kept in captivity for long, it had to learn to fend for itself. It was probably having loads of fun rolling around and waddling in some nice warm forest somewhere.
Coming up beside her friend, Ivory gave her a little poke in the side and gave Rafiki a goofy grin. "Hiya strangers." It looked like Arya was getting ready to clean the little fella's cage. Maybe she'd do some clean up work too. There were bound to be some other dirty cages or bowls that needed refilling.

It hadn't occurred to Arya to use magic to reach the high shelves, possibly because she seldom used magic when working with the creatures in her care. The door opening didn't cause her to glance over as other students came in here to clean as well, though it did briefly cross her mind that it had to be someone familiar as Rafiki wasn't giving her a warning. So it was while she was reaching up for a rag that she felt a poke in her side, a small squeal escaping her as she twitched away from the finger and ceased reaching for the rag.
Rubbing the spot, a grin plastered on her face, she turned to the owner of the finger, grin widening. "Hi yourself." Almost instantly her arms were around her best friend. "Where have you been?" Arya hadn't seen her friend outside of classes since before Christmas, and even then there time together was few and in-between. She had so much to tell the girl.
Pulling back, she placed a rag in the girl's hand, motioning to the open cage with a nod. "Help me clean his cage while we talk."

Giving a little squeal, Ivory dropped her pooper-scooper and hugged her best friend, Rafiki and all. "I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!" Swaying from side to side laughing, her grin wide on her face; Now it was her turn to waggle her finger. "I told you so!" Sitting back on her heels, she took up the look of cheshire cat. Opening her eyes, she smiled softly at Arya." Except for the small, tiny action of once again confessing his love to his best friend."
Grinning, she drew up her knees and tapped her forehead. "Sooooooo...since I think he'd never pressure you or mention it again out of respect for your feelings...." Yes, that was for sure. Sabel would never force her into a relationship if she didn't feel the same way so logic served to mean......that she now felt the same way!! Or maybe realized she felt the same way all along.
"I can only assume that you were the one who admitted you liked him...this time. Anaaaaad theeen by obvious agreement togetherness ensued!" She added with a lopsided grin. Yup, that sounded logical to her Ravenclaw brain.
Giggling and hugging her friend again, she continued. "That or you know, he couldn't take it anymore and confessed his undying love for you-while holding a few baby creatures." Because everyone knew Arya couldn't say no in the face of cute, itty-bitty, adorable baby creatures.

Arya rocked back giggling, almost falling over at Ivory's antics. She wasn't sure if Seers meditated or if they even knew what it was as that seemed more a muggle thing, but it was oh so funny to see her best friend pretend to do so.
Leaning forward, she rested her elbows on her knees and her head in her palms. Biting back her giggles, she nodded her head. "Defiantly a tall clumsy Canadian. Total Griffindor." There was so much she could add to that, but Ivory's next comment had her going silent and blushing, head nodding again as she returned the smile.
If this was anyone else, she would be a little freaked by how well they knew Sabel, but this was Ivory, and she'd know Sabel for just as long as she had which was why she just nodded her head again.

"Yeah, that sounds like Sabel.." Winking, she gave her friend a little nudge. "I'm sure you convinced him of the truth in some way or other." Wicked gleam in her eyes, she started up on a certain old song again. "Sabel and Arya sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N---" Oh but she couldn't finish because it really was just too funny. Giggling, she shook her head. "I kid, I kid....but while on that note....." Quickly she looked around, but it seemed no one listening aside from Rafiki who wrapped around her neck looked for all the world like he was a world trained psychiatrist and was listening patiently. If he could talk she'd expect his first words to be..."And how do you feel about that?"
"Did he?" Or you, or both? Yup, her friend's first kiss was totally something she wanted to know about. Not details mind you just whether she liked it or not considering way back then when they considered "swapping spit" the epitome of grossness.
She got a little sidetracked though at her friend's next words. "Oh, that's right." Her face sobered up a bit. How sad, he was graduating soon. "But yes, that's the spirit." Taking her cue from her friend, she continued in good hopeful spirits. " Take it one day at a time and enjoy your time together. If it's meant to be its meant to be." Gosh, she really needed to stop reading all those sappy Victorian novels she'd recently started reading for inspiration for the Prefect tea party. She was starting to sound like them.
