Swimming around like the madwoman she was the girl noticed Cass there. Okayyy she wasnt a madwoman right now,more like a mad fish woman but that was the gillyweed.Tehe. Waving over at the other Queenie the blonde smiled,mouth still closed.

How brave of Cass to fo dow here wven though she was a fraid of water.Good girl.Poiting to a fish and then to Lafay, the Slytherin asked the other girl if she wantes to have a fish ride.


Fee smiled at her best friend as he waved. It was soo funny to see how everybody looked with that gillyweed.Fiiiish family.Was he really riding a fish? That was soooo typical Alex.Fee needed to try that out too.Seemed like huuuuuge fun. And when her Alliealex almost fell of the fishy he was riding the blonde realy had a hard time not to laugh like crazy.Drinking some of the water they swam in wasnt very appealing.

Cass followed where her bestie was pointing and nodded. Then she swam towards a huge fish that was swimming by and climbed on. It felt really weird...like riding a scaly horse. Then she grinned at Fee to tell her that she was having oodles of fun.

As she swam about a merperson came toward them and seemed angry. Hecate began communicating with the creature and letting them know these were special students, the creme of the crop. And they were...

They were Slytherin after all...

The merperson swam towards the students and called over a different school of fish, with many beautiful colors.

Sierra nearly snorted in laughter when Alex tried to give her a closed-mouth grin. The facial expression looked hilarious, and in the end, she actually opened her mouth on accident to laugh. She ended up getting a mouth full of water herself, but at least she didn't choke on all the water. Maybe her new fish-type body was helping her out a little. She waved at him, and then seeing him turn to communicate with another Slytherin, she kicked off and headed forward.

She caught up to Lafay shortly afterward. Their Head of House was talking to an angry merperson. Merlin, he looked creepy! If Sierra looked that way, too, she guessed she would be angry all the time, as well. Sierra wanted to ask Lafay how she'd known how to talk to the merperson, but that wasn't exactly possible down here in the depths of the lake. Maybe she'd ask her someday, though. Maybe. Sierra's attention was drawn away from Lafay and the merperson, when a school of pretty fish came by, and the first year just looked on in amazement as she watched breeds she'd never thought she'd seen before.

Finally in the water, K-Lee looked around, a large grin on her face. Seeing others taking a ride from fish, under the example of Lafay, K-Lee followed, grabbing her own fish and joining the group.

As Lafay stopped, communicating with an angry looking merperson, K-Lee backed away slightly. That merperson DID NOT look nice. A few bubbles escaped from her open mouth.

Wooohooo~~ Now Freya was under the water. She swam slowly enjoying the view of the fishes. Its already December and its surprised her that the water was really warmed. She really enjoyed it so far. She swam deeper and saw Cass and Fee swimming ot so far from her. She waved to them both and gave them a smiled.

Still eyeing the merperson, making sure it wouldn't come up to her, K-Lee didn't notice as she accidentally bumped into fellow second year Freya.

Trying to apologise, she started rambling, then noticing that only bubbles escaped her mouth, she gave a sheepish grin. K-Lee started trying to signal that she was apologising.

She just hoped it seemed that way, and that it didn't look like she was trying to attack her.

Cass clambered off the fish when she saw Lafay talking to a merperson that didn't look like it was happy. Maybe he was mad because we're riding on the fish?

Then she watched as Lafay sort of...communicated with them...o-kay?

Then suddenly the merperson came over along with different pretty looking fish. gaah~Lafay, what did you tell him?

Cass turned away from the fishes to see Freya swimming towards them. She waved over to girl to signal her to come over.

Freya swam towards Cass and then she saw Lafay was talking to a merperson. Talking? The blonde rubbed her eyes couple of times. Did her eyes doing some trick under the water? She turned her gaze to Cass wondering did she saw the same weird view as her or not. Seeing Cass confused face already answer her question. It seems like her eyes weren't seeing things.

Cass glanced at Freya and shrugged. This was a side of their Head of House that she hadn't seen before. Then she swam towards her and pointed at the pretty fish around them

Fee waved at Freya and gave her a smile. Gladly she had thought of keeping her mouth clothed.Nooo water please. Wiggling her eyebrows at the Queenie as if to say "Come on" the girl tried another summersault.Yaaaaaaaaaay.


Ohhhhhhh that was soooo beautiful.Really these fish had the most amazing colours.In the beginning Fee had been scared because of the merperson being angry but gladly nothing bad had happpend.Swimming to the fish the blonde gone hiding in the covey.That was faaaaabulous.

When the Slytherin saw Cass riding a fish she had to fight the urge to giggle a little.Crazy bestie. And it loooked so funny. Catching one of the beautiful coloured fish the blonde sat on it and started to ride the fish like a mad woman. Wooohooooooooooo.

She definitely couldn't understand Lafay. Sometimes her head house can be very scary and in another times she can be very surprising. This side of Lafay definitely interest her. Freya looked towards the pretty fish around them. Wow. What a beautiful sight!

Freya tried really hard not to laugh when she saw Fee riding the huge fish. She just shook her head at the sight. She wondered what did Fee eat before she went here? Her bestie now officially going crazy right now.

Alex was feeling good. He had just eaten some gillyweed and was now swimming around with cute fishes in the lake. Yes, he was feeling good indeed.

Why wasn't Fee riding a fish? It was so much fun, you got to pet their little head whenever they did something good, or scold them if they didn't go fast enough. Come to think of it, he wanted the fish as a pet. Perhaps he would ask Lafay afterwards if he could keep the slimey thing. Looking down at his fish he grinned. He had chosen the ugliest one, you know those fishes with the bulging eyes and missing one fin. But he loved the fish anyways. Sometimes he felt emotional, and right then was one of those moments.

He never wanted to let the fishy goo! Although then something happened that made him forgot all about the fish he rode on... Well almost forget about it anyway.

A merperson!

Alex watched with wide eyes when Lafay communicated with the... With the um.. What were they called again? Things. Lafay communicated with the thing. The merperson did not look pleased at all in the beginning. Would they die down here? Would they?!

The third year started to flail his arms around in panic. He didn't want to die! Not before the Slytherin team won the quidditch cup, not before Ellie was his girlfriend, not before the cookies in the kitchen were done, not before christmas, not before all the presents, not before he got the meaning of the saying 'no one is perfect'.

He flailed his arms around trying to get someone to notice him, he even fell off his fish.

Mr. Fishy! he looked devastaded when the fish swam away content with losing Alex' weight.

Oh wait... It was all for nothing, the merperson wasn't mad so Alex wouldn't die. Great juust great, now he let go of the fish for nothing! He was too much of a chicken to glare at the merperson therefore he glared at a tiny fish swimming by.

Feeeel Reeed's raaaage.

Then a whole bunch of colorful fishes came and his face lit up. They were so... So.. Shiiiny! If he was able to skip down there, he would. He felt like skipping.

Alex Reed was so happy!

He patted one bright blue fish as it came by and grinned widely at anyone who was close by. Their head of house was like so cool, uh-huh.

Patting the blue shiny fish he looked up to see Sierra obviously amused by his grin. Then she opened her mouth.

BAHA!

Sierra opened her mouth. Alex laughed at her failure and it wasn't until afterwards he got that he'd done the same. He choked on the water and looked sad for a split second before he remembered the shiny fishes and grinned again.

He really should remember not to open his mouth all the time. Pff, like he really would remember that. If Alex Reed wanted to laugh, he laughed. Under water or not.

At least this time he could wave to the girl without falling off a fish because.. Well because he wasn't riding one on anymore. He waved with both his hands, because only extremely cool people waved with both of their hands before he turned back to pat his fish-

Heey, where did it go?

Alex found an orange one instead and looked just as content with petting that one as he had with the blue.

Fee noticed her bestie shaking her head a little.

WHAAAAT?!

Come on they were under water and had eaten gillyweed, they were allowed to go crazy right?! Even Lafay somehow did and that was really scary yet funny. Just sooo coool.

Whenever would you ahve the possibility to righ a fish?! Reaaaaaallly, being a Slytherin had some advanteges.Tehe.

Holdin on to the bright red fish the blonde pulled a little on it.Come oooon fishyyyyya lets gooo crazy and do some loopings. Thaaaat would be soo fuun.Yaaaaaaaay.



Fee couldnt help but laugh when she saw the expression in her bestest best friends face when the merperson appeard. And tah-dah her mouth was filled with water. Diiiirty water.She really didnt want to know how many fish and merpeople hat pooped into that. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

The blonde really felt the urge to cough buuut that wouldnt be a good idea seeing they were under water. Oh my glitter, this needed a revenge.Alex Reed you better run for your life. Or ride in this case.

Holding onto one of those bright green fishies she got on it. It was sooo little. Tehe.The red one she had been on before hsd been soo much taller, but tbis was one just preeeetty. Pretty much. And it was sooo smaaaaaal and sweeet and the little eyes.Awwwwie.

Riding her way on the fishy to her best friend she poked him.Taaaaahaaaaaa. Dont meeess with Fee. Grinning, this time with her mouth closed at him,she wiggled her eyebrows.

This no talking thing underwater was a drag... maybe, if she did it again next year, she should teach them a communication charm so they could communicate better than with gestures.

Suddenly a few grindylow came by and grabbed some of the students tugging at them.

ooc: You may RP yourselves either getting grabbed or assisting a housemate in getting loose from the grindylow. Have some fun with it!

Jamie felt it before she saw it. She was bring grabbed. It was NOT okay with her. She tried to swim away but it was pointless. She looked at the creature and was angry about the fact that she didn't know any non verbal spells to save herself. She held her wand tightly and looked around for something or someone to help.

Hyun waved back at the Little Firstie and grinned a bit when he saw her kicking through the water. It looked funny, really it did. But maaan was she good at practise! don't underestimate that girl. He saw her turning around and waving towards another slytherin student who he instantly recognized.

Seriously, if ANYONE could be a dork, it would be Alex. Hyun chuckled when he saw that Alex had wanted to say something but then swallowed the disgusting lake water. Bubbles from laughter came around his face , blocking his view for a second and then he started coughing too. Obviously having swallowed the water too in his laughing.

He shook his head and slapped his forehead when he saw Alex grabbing a little fishy...poor fishy.. he had to laugh again when he saw him *posing* on another fish which was , thankfully , bigger. Oh Alex.



Hyun had let go of his fish ride when he saw their head of house speaking to ...people? underwater? weird looking ..fish people! He swam closer to the professor with a curious expression on his features and glanced behind her back towards the..pretty scary looking, mermaids. Heh..was she talking with them? woah she could speak mermish? or whatever that language was.

Hyun was beginning to admire their head of house for a second when he felt something swim passed him with a fast motion.


Not trusting it, Hyun turned around to see a small first year getting grabbed by , Hyun looked better, by grindylows! Oh no. He saw her grabbing her wand but did nothing. Without waisting another second, Hyun swam towards her while grabbing his wand from his wrist holster. He pointed his wand at the grindylow. "Relash *cough cough cough*" he couldn't finish his sentence because he had swallowed the lake water yet again. Argh why couldn't they speak now?! Placing his wand back in his holster, Hyun swam to the small girl and grabbed the grindylow by its head. Big slimey, ewwie.. head... trying to get the grindylow off of her, but the creature was stronger than he thought...

Jamie watched as some one swam to help her and as he tried to speak he gulped up water unable to complete a spell. She struggled some more and as he pulled the gindylow one way she tried pulling the other. She looked behind her and saw it's eyes. Evil glaring eyes. She took her wand and shoved it there. Hoping it would loosen it's grip if she caused it horrible pain. The tight hold slackened a bit but it was still strong enough to hold her there and not let go. She looked at the older student helping her and prayed that they could figure this out.

Alex was happy, extremely so. They had met a merperson, seen some colorful fishes and despite him swallowing a galleon some water, he was happy. He swam along playing a little before-

WHAAA!

Something grabbed him, if this was a student it definitely wasn't funny. He turned his head and saw a scary face, that scary face belonged to a grindylow!


Panic attack, panic attack, panic attack!

Sierra glared at Alex--lightheartedly, yes, but it was still a glare. Was he laughing at her?! Well, she'd laughed at him, too, so she guessed they were even. Well, they were until the boy opened his mouth a second time, making the same mistake twice! Bwah haha! Victory was hers! She turned a back flip in the water, a sort of victory lap so to speak.

Her glare changed to a small smile--with a closed mouth, of course, and she, too, waved to Alex with both hands. She wasn't sure why they were using both hands to wave, but down here in the water, with all the lack of communication, doing a little something extra probably worked best. When Alex got distracted with a few other Slytherins, Sierra front-flipped and then took off through the water.



As Sierra caught sight of Hyun returning the wave, she gave him a small smile as she swam by. She'd stop and talk, really--she would, but that was kind of impossible at the moment.



For one, because they were underwater, and for two--a few grindylow decided to show up and party about two seconds after Sierra had seen Hyun's wave. Sierra was too young to know how to defeat them, and she was too inexperienced to know how to save a housemate, so she just stayed as far away from them as possible. They wouldn't swim any closer, would they?! Her gaze traveled from the grindylows to Lafay, as she wondered what their Head of House would do. Lafay saw the grindylow, right? ...and she promised she wouldn't let anything happen to them down here, right? ...right.

His pulling didn't work, the Grindlow was too strong for his human arms. Gah he needed to get some muscles! The slender asian boy saw that the little girl had found another way to use her wand. She poked the grindylow! But the creature only slackened its grip for a second. He saw her panicked eyes as he looked directly in them and he gave the girl an reassuring nod that it was going to be ok

but inside

He was freaking out! O___o

Who's idea was it to get students attacked!? *eyes Professor Lafay* Well, it wasn't her fault ...riiiight? Oh firstie student! Hyun shook his head and looked at the grindylow who was trying to drag the small kid to the depths of the lake. He grabbed one of its tentacles and draaaaaaaagged, with all his might he could muster under water , the grindylow away from her.


Hyun continued to draaaag the Grindylow off the first year student when something else caught his attention too. His eyes widedened when he saw his friend being grabbed by a Grindylow too. Where did those things come from anyway?! he couldn't leave the firstie alone but also couldn't let Alex get dragged by the lake creature! .. aaarggh what to do?! He looked around desperately for anyone to help them. If he could use his wand he could help him but he didn't know how to perform nonverbal spells and the last time he had tried to cast a spell he had swallowed the lake water.

Uhm ..help?!

Caroline was swiming around she had just got used to breathing completely under water after eating the Gillyweed. It was terrible, slimy tasting. But so far the worse part was over and the taste was gone. She saw Professor lafay talking to a mereman. Who was obviously in a bad mood or angry. Ohhhhhh pretty fish, she followed them. She was paying more attention to the fish and didn't realize that she was right in the middle of a group of grindylow. And one already had her by her foot.

Jamie swam but at the cost of her life she had lost her wand. She wasn't going to try to go after it either. She swam as far as possible and gave the older student a 'thank you' look. Now that she looked around she realized everybody else was getting caught too.

Alina hadn't really thought about trying out this... what was it again? The common room pool? Whatever it was, she didn't think much of it until she kept hearing people plunge into the water and with her curiosity, she traveled from one of the arm chairs over to the hatch. The gillyweed that Professor Lafay had given them earlier was still being held in her hand.

The redhead leaned over, looking into the depths of the lake, then she finally ate her gillyweed. Afterward, she sat down on the ground and scooted herself right into the water. The first thing that she thought about when she swam around was that it was really weird being able to breath under water then she thought about the fact of the Giant Squid eating her.

That thought made her want to swim herself right back out but she didn't leave.

When a girl around her age (Sneakeh Cat) jumped into the water and began making her around, Sierra paused in her tracks and turned to look. Did she know this girl? She should, since the girl looked about her age. She honestly didn't think she'd ever seen her around, though. She raised her hand to wave at the girl, but then she suddenly felt a sharp tug at her feet.

Not really sure what was going on, Sierra sort of flailed about in the water as she fought against whatever was tugging her down. Reluctant to look, as she pretty much knew what that tugging was from, she turned back to the same girl and gave her a 'help me' look. Sierra's eyes traveled around the water as she sought out Lafay, but she couldn't catch sight of the woman from where she was.

Sparing a small, second-long glance down to her feet, Sierra came eye-to-eye with a grindylow. She glared at it, thinking that just might make her feel a little bit better, but it really only succeeded in making the little guy mad. Umm...help?
