"Zanks," Aimée couldn't help but say again, giggling a little. She bit down on her lip so stifle it, and fiddled with the bracelet on her wrist. Smiling a half smile when he shrugged it off, she looked at it above his head, tilting her own to the side. "I zink I took some books from ze library to help wiz my 'omework... it might be zem?" she said hopefully, looking back down at his face.

Aimée did see Dallin's grin, but she wasn't quite sure what it meant, especially when he tried to hide it, so she shoved the thoughts away. She mimicked his grin though when he said his was great aswell, and that he was actually excited to come back. "Me too," she admitted with a slight giggle that she didn't even try to hide. "I'm glad you said zat.. I was going to, but zen I didn't want people to zink I was a freak or somezing." Which she couldn't be if Dall felt the same - because he wasn't a freak.

Alright. Kyle wasn't that bad for a girl because she liked foxes. Legend couldn't stand people who just judged his pet because they saw that he was a fox and didn't even take the time to realize he was probably the calmest animal ever.

Wonky? Legend was confused but he couldn't help but smile. The sort was so random it was funny. "But if he has a wonky eye then how is he suppose to hurt people?" He asked, his curiosity getting the best of him.

Yup. She was a claw. That was probably why he didn't know her. "Cool! I don't know many Claw's for some reason." Or Slytherins. Legend wasn't house biased he just didn't know many of those people. "If you think your name is long. Try having four middle names." He said with a chuckle, even though it was a curse. A true, EVIL curse. Lemon drops? Ha. The small candy instant made him think of his older sister. He'd be able to see VERY Alexis soon, and the sixteen year old couldn't wait. "Sure. I love candy." Not love exactly, but it was a pretty cool thing.



As he reached out for a lemon drop, his head turned as he noticed the short Puff walk in. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Legend knew that Katie would have realized where to find him. "Hey!" He replied happily as she gave him a quick peck on his cheek. To think, just a couple of years ago he was threatening her when she did that. "Kyle this is Katie. And Katie this is Kyle." Introductions! Duh! "How are you Cub?" Was she sad about leaving? Or excited? He was sure that she couldn't wait to see her family again.


Legend shrugged, still slightly smiling. "Sure, no problem with me. You're welcomed in here Rex." He knew the guy of course but he didn't really speak to him, even though they were house mates.

Adam knew last night was not how it should've gone at all.He was extremely disappointed at how childish he had acted in a mere few hours and that school year.

Everyone were pointing him to the right direction but all he could see was that he was doing it right- but maybe he wasn't?

The redhead knew things needed to be slightly mended and well, today would be the last chance.

Checking all the doors for a girl with black hair and kitty by her side, Adam went on a search.He stood right outside, took a deep breath and slowly opened the door.

Swallowing at the sight of her, Adam walked in and sat across from her.

Kyle couldn't help but wince as she heard the idea of four middle names. "That must be excruciatingly annoying at times, the four middle names that is." She smiled.

She chuckled when he asked about how Wonky was supposed to hurt someone. "Well, he did almost knock my gran' off the porch once - luckily thats only an inch and she's not that old." She added with a laugh smiling still. She handed him the candy and smiled, turning to Katie she smiled. "If you want some you can have some as well," she indicated to the Lemondrops smiling still.

She smiled to Katie, "Nice to meet you Katie," she smiled, she seemed like a nice girl really.

Kurumi was so focused on the moving scenery outside that she hadn't even heard the door to the compartment slide open nor did she notice the change in air current as someone walked across the compartment and sat across from her.

Flicking her eyes towards the disturbance, her entire body went rigid when she saw who had entered the compartment.

"I do not want to talk with you."

She had said it before she even realized that she was, but, perhaps for the first time, she did not try and cover her mouth with embarrassment.

"That could be it," Dal agreed. He couldn't imagine himself ever taking books home from the library. Although that was probably because he'd never checked out a library book for himself in his life.

Both of his eyebrows raised at the word 'freak.' "I don't know, I might be a freak." He shrugged one shoulder. "Or crazy." He added thoughtfully. "I mean, who would've thought Dallin McKinley would be excited to go back to school when he's just left it?" His family wouldn't believe it, that was for sure.

But enough about him. "You doing anything fun during the summer?" he asked Aimée, stretching his legs out in front of him and brushing his hand through his hair.

Adam rested his hands on his legs, as he looked out the window...

"You don't want to talk to me...I understand that...But maybe ...I WANT to mend my friendship with you. I'll never talk to you after that..."He said calmly, nodding his head at her.

The air stiffened between them, Adam felt like he would suffocate from lack of oxygen.

"I was a fool...Last night...This year..Last year...I was a fool for you..."He added.

Kurumi stared at Adam for a few moments. Was he implying that she didn't want to mend their friendship? Isn't that what she had been struggling to do for the entire two years she had known him? She was tired of giving him reasons, being pushed to the side, then her going to apologize and being pushed to the side again.

Last night...he had said it was pointless to even try...

Well, Adam had one thing right. He WAS a fool.

"I'm listening," she said calmly not daring to move towards him.

Adam nodded. At least he had her attention.

"I was a jerk...I can't put it more simply than that. When I ended up liking Fee and Ever-Lily I was looking for something else...But in the end, they never possesed what you had. True friendship...I mean, you told me everything about you...And I shoved you...Well I was scared to be honest- I don't like showing weakness..."He swallowed as he thought out his next words.

"This year, you gave and gave when I was in such deep trouble- but I never said thanks..Not truthfully though..I never gave you anything back- never really listened to you truly..I mean...You helped me so much, even when I was being a jerk- you never did anything to me, and here I sit, saying I never helped you back...In fact I made things worse..."He said looking directly at her.

Adam stopped to see if Kurumi would say or motion anything.

Hmm, what was that?

Turning her head to the sighed, grumbling quietly, Evelyn peaked open an eye at her friend, just staring for a moment. Why didn't she close it? Well, obviously, because she was too tired. Besides, Poof took that moment to suddenly saunter in and hop up onto her luggage, minding her own business and licking her paw.

Pfft. She was probably well rested. Slept all peacefully at the end of Evelyn's bed last night.

"You're closer." she mumbled, turning back and curling up on the seat. Maybe Destiny can be a lookout too. Just in case Marie came by.

Kurumi listened to Adam as he spoke. Her expression remained unchanged as she did so. She didn't know what to think or feel anymore.

She would give anything to jump off her seat and embrace Adam and tell him that she forgave him for everything that had happened, but she had played that game before...and look where it had gotten her. It had earned her the comment of 'not being worth it.'

Slowly, she sat upright, but made sure that she made no forward movement towards Adam. She was no where near ready to forgive him yet.

"You did make things worse, Adam Burn," she said after a few moments. She meant what she had written on the piece of paper in his fortune cookie. The best and worst thing to ever happen to her. "I heard what you said to Selina, about trying to fix things, trying to talk to me...how it all was worthless..." She paused for a moment as she began to choke on her tears. "I trusted you! I opened up to you so much...and in the end you....you....you did what everyone else has done to me!"

While Adam had not thrown a stone at her, cut her hair off with scissors, forced her to eat mud because she was just as dirty as it in his eyes...he had done something worse. He had hurt her heart.

Even though she told herself she didn't care where she sat so long as it was with Sabel, Arya did. She wanted to sit somewhere private where they could be alone and undisturbed and snuggle up by a window the whole ride back to London.

Shifting the bag on her bag carefully, and unphased when Perseus's head nuzzled the back of her neck, she gently tugged Sabel towards the back of the train. It took only a moment to find an empty compartment and quickly sneak into it before anyone else could.

He nodded again.

He thought it wouldn't have taken so much convincing- but that was only a dream.

"I know sorry won't do for everything I did to you this year...But I am sorry I realized all my flaws so lately...Maybe in time.."

Then he heard that she had overheard his fight with Selina.He fidgeted in his seat...Maybe if he explained this clearly...

"I never meant YOU were worthless...Cause you're not..I mean...I get jealous easily, but that only says I cared...No...I care for you...I just meant that...US being together, living miles apart was not worth us being together...LOok at me...Do I look like I want to be broken up with you?"He asked her as he bit his bottom lip.

It had been harder than he had thought, stepping out of Hogwarts for the last time. He hadn't been able to keep himself from looking back over his shoulder, from pausing to stare blankly at the castle. There was a whisper that told him this was it, this was the end of his journey here and that he would likely never see the school or many of its inhabitants again. And that had him in a silenced shock all the way to the platform.

Even as he moved through the train with Arya, hand in hers, bag on his shoulders, he was silent. His eyes ghosted blankly across all the faces around him, surrounded by others but somehow feeling rather alone. Especially without Merlin trailing behind him. Every time he glanced over his shoulder, he expected to see the black cat tight at his heels, weaving through obtrusive legs. But there was nothing there; just feet and shoes and he had to remind himself of his choice, had to force himself to accept it.

When they finally reached the compartment Arya wished, Sabel wasted no time in closing the door behind them. Then, he went to work putting their things out of the way. He didn't really want to sit still, and had the feeling he might end up pacing up and down the corridor of the car. Was this how it was supposed to feel at the end?

Sitting herself between Waterfall's little carrier and the green-eyed, too tall boy, Katie set her bag in her lap as she settled comfortably into the seat, her arms wrapping around the red backpack carefully; the top was left unzipped, a little pink nose just barely visible from the side where it twitched.

Looking from Legend to the Ravenclaw girl as they were introduced, Katie smiled a little more while pushing an unruly curl from in front of her face. "Kyleigh. That's a pretty name, Kayleigh is actually part of my middle names." Katie commented, adding after the girl, "It's nice to meet you as well, Kyle." She seemed like a nice girl, though Katie had figured as much from the classes they attended together; It was just slightly amusing (and lucky?) that Legend had stumbled upon her, usually it was small, shouting first and second year girls that Katie often found crowding him.

Cub? Her smile grew a little bit more, memories of past times where she always shouted at him or any of the other boys for calling her anything but Katie surfacing in her mind. It was sort of funny. So many times she had yelled at Legend especially for calling her that, and yet for the past almost year and a half she had missed the nickname. "I'm.. excited to be going home, and nervous at the same time." Katie's dark eyes traveled up to meet his emerald green ones. Did that answer his question? "And I suppose, maybe a little bit sad. That our sixth year is over already." That seventh year was nearly already upon them. "How are you?"

Katie hadn't a clue what had walked off Kyle's Gran's porch or anything to do with that little story since she had been late in arriving, but it sounded rather amusing. Want some..? Following the Ravenclaw's hand, Katie noticed the lemondrops. "Oh, no thank you." She shook her head, small smile still playing on her lips. "I don't eat much candy.." Madame Popov wouldn't approve anyway.

K-Lee wandered the train, looking for somewhere to sit. Seeing another Slytherin that looked around her age, K-Lee sat with a small smile opposite her.

"Hi, I'm K-Lee, mind if I sit here?" She asked, looking at the girl.

Why was she being stared at!?

It was like Evelyn was staring deep down into her soul..or perhaps she was staring at the black eye that she didn't protect her from getting. Well, either way, Destiny was too tired to even turn her face away from her friend. If Evelyn still had that chocolate hair, THEN she would have definitely turned away.

She didn't want to think about, look or see chocolate for the rest of her life.

Unless it was that really, really, REALLY expensive kind from Belgium. She'd eat that. But really, who would give her Belgium chocolate? Pffft. Throwing that thought out of her head because chocolate equaled gross, Destiny's eyes flickered from Evelyn to the little kitty kneazle that walked in the compartment. Poof.

WHERE WAS SLY!?

There he was, following Evelyn's cat around, of course. Giving her cat a glare, since she knew he was up to something, she turned her eyes back to Poof and waved her hand limply towards the door. "Poof! Shut the door." She would have told Sly, but he would just wind up trying to eat it.

"What do you have to be jealous of?!" Kurumi snapped with a somewhat wild look in her eyes as all the pent up frustration began to surface. "Jealous that I admire Salander for saving my life? Jealous of Simon and Patroclus who have been brothers to me? Jealous of Treyen because his smile makes me blush?" Kurumi jumped to her feet now as her anger made it impossible to take this all sitting down. "What sign did I give you that that told you I was going to pursue something with ANY of them? YOU told Fee that you liked her. You confessed you had feeling for her while still pursing me. I NEVER considered another person Adam. NEVER."

Her tears were beginning to become so over powering that the world she saw was fuzzy and her speech became a bit slurred.

Arya silently slipped into the seat beside the window with her green eyed kneazle, and watched Sabel with a thoughtful expression. Watched him as he worked on moving there belonging out of the way with a sense of determination. She'd noticed his change in demeanor when they boarded the train, and while she knew what the reason behind the change was, she didn't know what to say.

She didn't know how he was feeling, unlike him, she was returning next term, and the few terms after that. So silently she sat watching him carefully, racking her brain for some words of comfort to share with her Griffindor.

The amount of people crowding around the door was well, getting a little too busy for the quiet girl. Giving both Katie and Legend quick smile she spoke. "Um, I'll be back in a bit grabbing some food and changing out of my robes." She smiled, as she grabbed a small shoulder bag and stepped out of the room, she picked up her little owl out of the cage and let him fly out the window she knew he would find her again he always did.

"I'll be right back" she smiled. Stepping out into the hallway she moved through the crowd slowly, quietly almost as if she was trying not to get noticed at all.

Once he was done putting their luggage away, Sabel rubbed his hands on his pants, glancing about the compartment. If there was something else he could have straightened out, he would have. As it was, there was only Arya and her kneazle, and for the look on her face, he forced a small smile.

Slipping onto the seat beside her, he rested one hand on her knee and his head back against the cushion, closing his eyes. He wasn't sure he wanted to see them pull away from the station. To see all of what he would leave behind slip away. He had seen enough of that in his life, he didn't want to see it again.

She waited patently for him to join her and Perseus on the seat, waited for him to get comfortable before pulling her legs under her and molding into his side. He would have gotten smiles if his eyes weren't closed, but since they were, she simply stared up at him thoughtfully. "Do you want some candy from the trolley? Or I have some in my bags..." They had just gotten settled down, and she really didn't care to leave him alone in such a state.

As soon as he felt Arya against his side, he shifted his position to wrap his arms around her, holding her close. His chin found placement resting upon her head, his eyes remaining closed. He couldn't express how grateful he was that she was still with him, that they were still here, together.

"No...I'm good. Thank you." Eating something would have been a good idea, given he really didn't touch any of the food at the feast, but he just wasn't hungry. "Did you want anything?" He had change in his pocket. He would buy her something.

Helena had no idea where she was going. Nope.

So she eventually walked along that tiny corridor, looking for an empty compartment. But every single one seemed to be already occupied, so she almost got to the back part of the train. When she finally found the empty compartment she was looking for, she slided open the door and sat down next to the window.

She couldn't believe it was over. The first year, of course. But it was over.

She welcomed his arms around her, and rested her head against his chest when his head rested against hers, brown eyes flowing the movements of her kneazle. Her arms slipped around him, and she let out a content sigh when he dismissed the candy offer.

It was only when he questioned her that she realized how long it had been since she'd eaten anything. After the spat between them at the feast, she hadn't been in the mood to eat, and she wasn't sure she was up for it now. "If your fine, I'm fine." And so long as he was around. She was always fine when he was around. "I can stay with you a bit when we get back to London.... I don't have to head off just yet." Would that cheer him up? Knowing she could be with him a bit longer?
