Alice smiled "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Rene, and yes I am a first year." she said. "Thanks, his name is percival, I got him at the menagerie just this year and he seems to have become fond of me." she added.

Running her hand through her red hair she looked at the boy. She could tell the likes of a first year were wearing on his nerves. Honestly she had not meant to annoy him and if paying him a compliment offended him he needed to relax. Trying not to grow red in the face from embarrassment Selina sucked in a breath of courage and stated, "Look, I know that I may have annoyed you and I'm sorry for that. I won't pester you with my questions anymore. I just thought since you were Captain, I don't know, you'd have some kind of pride in talking about Quidditch. Some kind of glint in your eye. But if you want I'll leave you alone."

Selina may have been a first year, but growing up with ten male older cousins and three very large uncles and a Quidditch player for a Dad did not leave her weak. She was going to stand up for herself and if this older student did not want to hear her talk that was fine. She could take a hint.

She kept her eye on the bird she had caught it staring at her and became alittle timid. "Its very nice to meet you too. So what are you looking forward to going to hogwarts?" she asked. Oh great her converstation had turned into an interview she needed a save "Are you excited?"

But there was really no need to be suspicious over the knarl, it was usually the other way around. But now that she mentioned it...er, no, no, this was a real knarl, he even knew the knarl's mother and all. So, yeah, no need to worry. One will have to worry about other things concerning this little creature, but no Dark Wizards hidden there. Nope.

Yes, Miranda BelCanto was now playing for the Harpies. And whilst he hoped she'd play for the Arrows, he had no choice but to accept the fact that at least she wasn't playing for the Wasps. "I know, truly amazing," especially since she was a Hufflepuff, ha.

Grin. Of course it was, they had the Triwizard Champion on that House...speaking of...he hadn't seen Fletcher on the Platform...let's just hope that he was running late or was already inside the train, yes? "Don't worry about it, I don't particularly like the color itself," since it soooo didn't complimented his eyes nor his hair, "I actually prefer purple, or blue," yes, so manly of him to acknowledge his preference for purple.

He'd taken the asleep knarl in his hand, and he may even close his hand and no one would notice he was carrying one, but decided he wouldn't close it, you know, wouldn't want the thing to get scared. "Do you want something from the trolley? I'm off to buy some droobles," he stated, getting up, "Unless you'd like to come along?" he didn't mind, really.

Alice giggled as te girl quickly asked a different question, and she decided to answer the latter, "I am rather excited... the only thing i am not excited for is the modern clothing, the skirts, shirts, sweater vests, and socks and shoes are quite different from what I am used to, as you can see." Alice gestured to her overall outfit of the Victorian dress she sported.

Snappy's eyes narrowed as the cat finally turned to look at it. Its tail was swishing back and forth...uh oh, that wasn't a very good sign.

Sensing that he was in danger, Snappy began to snap his huge beak at the cat. Too bad he was stuck in a cage; he could have ripped his eyes out.

"Snappy!" Jenny jumped at the sound of her owl, reaching for her almost-done cookie just in time before it dropped to the floor. She raised an eyebrow at the owl. "Don't do that! You're going to make a lot of noise!" It didn't make sense. Snappy acted perfectly fine a few moments ago, so why is he all irritated now?

Kurumi nodded. From what little interaction she had had with the older Gryffindor, Kurumi couldn't see having a single mean bone in his body. Then again, she didn't think there was a professor who would make students lose their bones for the sake of their class.

Kurumi watched Jacob for a few moments wondering if she should see if he wanted to talk or if he would rather she left him alone. Walnut meowed softly and patted his paw towards the boy - claws in mind you. "I'm a little scared too," she said weakly. Clearly, her worries and his were on totally different pages. "I don't know what all I can help you with," she said timidly. "But Walnut seems worried about you too." Now he probably thought she was crazy being little miss cat-whisperer. "If you just want to talk, I can be a pretty good listener." She decided that standing there was a little too awkward and took a seat next to him. Walnut began to purr. "I'm still new to all this," she said as a general statement. "Magic I mean. I was raised in a non-magical environment, so I have been both looking forward to this day and dreading it all summer."

Walnut stuck his nose in the air at the stupid bird. What exactly did he think he was playing at snapping at him through that little cage of his. Laughable really. A playful glim in his eyes, Walnut strutted around the cage poking his tail here and there where it was probably least appreciated. Snap your beak at me will you!

Kurumi looked at her cat and rolled her eyes again. "Sorry Jenny," she sighed watching the cat strut like the King of England. "Walnut has been a bit high and mighty these days. Thinks he owns the place." She reached for the cat who easily jumped out of the way. "He's never really been around owls before." And he better not do anything stupid.

Rene was glad she had decided to anwser the last question she asked. She was right she was not a modern wear even Rene's outfit was very put together not say that hers werent. "I like your dress, Its really pretty." she hoped the girl had her uniforms because that probably wouldnt be aloud "It doesnt take long to get used to it. Have you even tried?" she asked not trying to sound pushy

"It's cool, I think cats aren't meant to be around birds in the first place...or am I wrong?" Jenny added uncertainly. She had seen a whole bunch of cats chasing birds in the Muggle world, but maybe it's just a certain species of cats that are fascinated with birds. "Can't really blame Walnut; Snappy here is usually grumpy and he likes to abuse his beak a lot--ouch!" Jenny quickly drew back her finger as she tried to lift up Snappy's cage. Really...

You're just overexaggerating! Snappy gave his human a mean look.

"I'm trying to feed you some food, hold on." Jenny searched through her bag and found a packet of owl pellets. "Here you go." Jenny threw a pellet at the owl. Obviously Snappy loved those owl pellets; he can't stay angry if he eats one. Then as Jenny came to pick out another cookie, a question came to mind. "Does Walnut like eating your cookies?"
she asked Kurumi.

Right, so, enough thinking about that knarl turning into some mad wizard. He was a real knarl. A really real one. Not a Dark Wizard in disguise. Right? Right. So it was time to relax and stop thinking that an evil person was going to just pop up and attack them.

Relax by thinking about Quidditch. That was quite calming and soothing, wasn't it? Not really, but it was better than thinking about someone coming to attack them. So Vashti nodded her agreement to Treyen's comment about the Huffie Captain playing for the Harpies. 'Twas very amazing and cool.

She raised an eyebrow when he admitted he didn't like the yellow and preferred purple - !! - and blue. She couldn't remember ever meeting a boy who admitted to liking purple. "I like both of those colors too," she said, "especially blue." Which was part of the reason why she liked Ravenclaw so much.

At the mention of the food trolley, Vashti's stomach rumbled quietly. She'd forgotten that she hadn't eaten breakfast this morning - perhaps getting a little something at the trolley would be a good idea. "I think I'll come," she said, getting to her feet as well. "I could use something to eat."

What was it with all the owls being grumpy? Was there something in the water? Or perhaps all the owl pellets in the world were going bad. "I make special tuna fish cookies for Walnut," Kurumi admitted shyly as the cat returned to his perch on her lap. "He doesn't like the usual cat food I'm afraid."

Yeah, you silly owl. Why settle for the regular pet food stuff when you can have real fine dining. Walnut purred closing his eyes but taking a peek at the owl every now and again.

Raven was shock, "oh no, I didn't think --I'm ambitious-- --well, I don't know what the other houses trait" *he smiles look terribly dumb but in his mind, I still wishing to be a Gryffindor*

"Yeah, I heard her calling your name earlier" *pointing Kurumi* Raven bite some cookies, "amazing one, can't taste cookie like this before" Raven nodded as a gesture to both lady

Kurumi laughed. "Don't worry, I doubt you will be in Slytherin. The people I have met from there are either sugar crazy or downright mean. If anything other than Gryffindor, I'd say you have a little Hufflepuff in you. Hufflepuffs are known for being just and loyal and they value friendship."

"Oh, tuna! I like making tuna sushi, and I eat it every day...well, not every day because eating too much tuna is not good for me." Jenny said nervously. She considered giving Walnut some of her tuna sushi...but first, she has to make some for her human friends and second, Walnut doesn't seem to be comfortable around strangers.

Snappy raised an eyebrow, as the cat (is his name Walnut?) took a nap on its owner's lap. Hm, he'll have to keep an eye on that...hm, was that darn feline challenging him? Hmph, he'll have to do his best to ignore that then. So Snappy turned his head out the door, turning his head a little every now and then to make sure there were no surprise attacks from that cat.

"Oh, that's explainable." Jenny nodded as she continued eating her cookie. Gosh, the episode with both pets in the compartment seem to tire her out already. "Do you have any pets, too?" Jenny asked Raven. "If you have a cat, that's fine, too, although I'm not sure if Snappy here would get used to having two cats." She gestured to the owl who was still eating.

"Well I have worn victorian clothing my entire life." Alice said, "I think I should change into my uniform soon though... in fact i think I will do that now, excuse me!" Alice said and dashed out. a few minutes later she came back in wearing her new outfit and tugged uncomfortably at her skirt.

"It's a bit revelaing for my taste, if you knew the makup of a victorian outfit you would know why." Alice said then sat down.

*the reason why Raven is so behave in this conversation and trying to be as polite is this, he is gathering info in the wizarding world and try to find a friend along the way. He didn't know almost everything in wizardkind, all he knew is he want to know more about wizardry*

Raven look up the ceiling like he think of something, 'so this hufflepuff house love a bond of friendship, there is Slytherin who was ambitious like, the Ravenclaw is something --the nerd house, and the Gryffindor (house he loves most if he in) have the chivalry trait, wow, four different characteristic, all is leading to greatness and more'

"so, Kurumi, how do you make it in Gryffindor, I just wondered" Raven ask timidly

Kurumi thought back to her sorting. Why had the hat selected her to be in Gryffindor? "The hat took its time placing me," Kurumi said slowly scratching the corners of her memory. "I think it was almost going to place me somewhere else...but I started thinking about my brothers and then it put me in Gryffindor." She wasn't sure if she had really answered his question or not, but there really was no one way to get sorted into a particular house. "That hat was made with real strong magic and you could feel the weight of that magic the moment it was placed on your head."


She then turned her attention back to Jenny. "Your owl might like some cockroach cluster cookies," she suggested still not giving up on using those as an ingredient.

"Well thats understandable." She said but before she could say something else she had dashed out the room to change but it didnt take her long and she was back but looked fairly uncomfortable. "You look nice." She said "But I could understand were your coming from. I actually like your dress from before." She said nicely "You look rather uncomfortable." nocting ther girls tugging at the skirt

Funny how all her life she had never stressed over anything. Mia had always gone with the flow, nothing was ever a problem and nothing ever fazed her. But with everyone talking about OWL's and how they effected your future...well that had made her stop and think. She looked at Simon an chewed on her bottom lip. "I guess you're right but we still have to take them somewhat seriously though, yeah?"

Mia laughed at the look on Simon's face. She got that look a lot when she mentioned to people how much of the magical world she didn't know about. "I live with muggles." She explained and shrugged her shoulders. "I only came to Hogwarts last year. I thought I would see a game at school but of course the TWT was on and there was no quidditch." Of course she didn't regret that there had been no quidditch because then she wouldn't have met Nik and that would have been a tragedy in itself.

"Well obviously someone thought you were good." She remarked with a small smile. One of these days she might actually be good at something too. "So what do you want to do when you graduate from Hogwarts?" Mia was often curious as to what her fellow students plans were after school.

Lea walked with her carry on purse, looking for her twin. He was just here. Peaking around the corners she decided to sit down for she was getting rather tired. "Its too bad that I don't know any one here yet, but Riley does" she thought while looking for her red shade of lipstick.

Joey sat down in a campartment alone waiting for someone to chat with before maisie and amy come in.I think its joey to be a good year she said with as smile out loud like a crazy person.

Raven look at his cage, ohh he remembered, he let Aguiluz to stretch his wings and make him fly ahead of Hogwarts. "yeah, have one, he is bound out, being bored in his cage"

"Hmm, you gave me a nice Idea", Raven said shortly

Rene walked down the hall and into the back of the train. She stopped at a compartment with joey inside. She stepped in "Mind if I join you?" She asked

Jenny's mouth dropped wide open. "You...still...have...those?" Then again, Jenny closed her mouth. They were for her owl after all, so Jenny didn't have to eat them. She could still remember the weird feeling when she touched them back at Sugarplums. "Yeah, those would be great actually." Jenny smiled. "So did you try out those cockroach clusters too?"

"Oh wow, he's beautiful," Jenny stared in amazement as Raven's owl flew out of his cage. "How long have you had him?" she asked when she turned back to Raven.

Meanwhile, Snappy perked up from his lunch. He noticed that another owl just flew out of his cage. Hmph, lucky bird. He thought before turning back to finish his meal and keeping a wary eye on the cat who is still napping.

*Putting his bag up Matty walked down the train looking for a spot. He looked very different than last term. Short dark hair, and buffed out. Camp had been very good to him. His uncle was right, move on, and have fun. Looking down he saw a small tube roll under his shoe. Picking it up he saw a girl looking in her purse. Holding it up he gave her a warm smile.*

"Um... is this yours?"
