Selina laughed at his description of his mother's job. 'Some police officer show'. She had to agree there were a lot of crime scene shows. But it was the trend, people loved a good chase.

"So tell me, how did your parent take the whole wizarding world thing?"

Christopher really couldn't tell the difference, and couldn't understand how Mixed Blood and Half-Blood were different. He shrugged it off and nodded with a grin as they talked about the muggle trend of police officer shows, and how they were polluting television.

Oh gosh. That was an interesting topic. Christopher laughed nervously and looked at his feet. "Well..... my dad thought it was the coolest thing ever, magic and all. He's really fascinated by it. My mum on the other hand...... well.... she didn't take it too well." He frowned at the thought of his mum's reaction.

Over the summer he was quite amazed at how they were able to keep their harmones in check because at times it got pretty heavy. They were just so into each other and like her he got knots in his stomach because of how much he adored and loved her.

He watched her as she played with her ring, he thought about how happy she would be when he and his dad made her wedding ring. She had kind of given him an idea of what she wanted so he had the perfect ring in mind. Chances are she would wear both of them anyway and he was going to try and make it so the wedding ring could blend in with the engagement one. That way she could still have the sparkly engagment one and then the more down toned wedding ring she wanted.

She then talked about him writing her a song which he had already begun writing some weeks back but hadnt finished. It put a smile on his face that she would want him to do that and he couldnt wait to let her hear it. Chances are, he was going to write more than one for her anyway. The one he was currently working on was just a beautiful instrumental piece. But he would later get with the guys in the band to get one with some lyrics that he would write for her.

"You want a song eh?" he said acting like he never thought of the idea.

"Yea, i can do that. Anything for my baby" he said with a big smile.

Tay looked up at him and giggled cutely- "That would just be so... so amazing." she said honestly, leaning forward and holding onto his hand. She could imagine that whatever song he wrote for her would probably be the most beautiful thing she could ever hear.

She picked up some Pie and started to eat it- gees, this stuff was good, it really made her wonder why she'd been so put off by food at one point! "So... I was thinking. I wanted to take your Mum out shopping soon- obviously, next holiday or something? I'd love to spend more time with her, and it seems like a good way to do it!" Tay asked Draven, wondering what he'd think of the idea. Arabella was so, so lovely- she was so glad that her future in-laws were so nice to her!

"By the way. At Christmas- my Mum wants to throw us a proper engagement party." she said excitedly- smiling and sitting up in her seat. She knew there were a couple people not so keen on the fact she was even engaged- but she knew why they were worried. She just... wished people would understand how in love her and Draven are- they're just meant to be, soulmates! "Like, you can invite whoever, all the families will be there!" she told him.

Selina saw the look in Christopher's eye when his mother was brought into the conversation. It was a shame that she was not as welcoming to the idea of magic. Although the more muggleborns Selina met the more she realized that this fact was very true. Most people who did not grow up with magic seemed to find it weird and strange. Truth be told it was, but Christopher was a nice boy and the fact that he had magic did not take away from that.

"Well, I'm glad she let you come. Or else I would have never have met you. So tell me, what happened?"

Making herself seen Selina said, "Hello, you must be Hugo. I'm a good friend of Adam and Kurumi. They both suggested I get to know you, so um hello."

Someone had talked about Hugo? Positively? Wow, that was cool. He got up and shook the girl's hand. "Well, hello," he said, smiling. "I'm Hugo Doyle, second year Ravenclaw. And you are...?" he asked. He loved getting to know people. It felt good!

This boy was very friendly and sweet. She now knew why Kurumi and Adam spoke so highly of him. He was just down right pleasant.

"So tell me about yourself, Hugo."

"Thanks. I almost didn't come, actually." He frowned again. "When my mum found out, and the professor came to explain it, she flipped. She thought it was a joke and got really angry. She refused to believe in magic and won't speak of it. She hardly talks to Elyon or me anymore without freaking out. My parents fought for days. Dad practically had to sneak me out." Firsties were always frightened of prefects. Though, he didn't really want to scare them--he wasn't in the mood to do that. Just, he walked the lenght of the compartment to make sure people saw his badge, and also to make sure none of the firsties decided to use their wands and make a scene of themselves. As he was pacing, he saw a certain Huffie he knew, and with a smile, dragged his bags to her.

"Hello Brittany," he greeted the girl. He remembered her quite well, because she'd called him rude. How rude. "How are you?" Might as well chit-chat while he placed his bags in her compartment. Because he had to ask for a favour, and you just didn't ask favours directly. That would be rude.

Brittany Looked up at the sound of her name which was rarely ever used in its full. Who was this calling her Brittany??? Here eyes fell on a familar though not to familar tall slytherin Boy. Her eyes narrowed instantly. She certainly remembered there last meeting and it certainly didnt go very well. She was determined not to give him the satisfaction that it still gotto her slightly."Uh hello Evan." she said. Yes she remembered his name. She never forgot people who almost flattened her to floor.

"Ive been great." she said with a small smile. Yes she was doing a very good job. She looked him over once more and noitced his badge. Oh goodness that couldnt be good. He was already toooo proud to be a slytherin and now with a badge he might be worst *smirk*. She decided she wouldnt bring it up so she countinued on with the earlier conversation. "So how have you been".

Septimus plopped down in one of the compartments at the back of the train. He didn't know anyone here. He didn't have any brothers or sisters to show him around. He was extremely shy and extremely quiet. The chances of him making any friends whatsoever were one in a million. The train had already almost left him behind. Oh, yes. He was also clumsy. Very clumsy. He dropped most of his sketch books and pencils. "Bother," he muttered as he began to pick them up.

Emmaleigh eagerly boarded the train looking for Brit. It was almost time for the trian to pull out, and she hadn't seen her bestie yet. She figured the girl had managed to get on with out being seen by either her or Michael. When she thought she saw Birt in a compartment, she hurried to open the door, "Brit!" she said enthuastically and ran inside, only to run into a rather large person. The impact caused the tiny second year to fall flat on her tail. "ow" she muttered looking up at the person.

Selina saw the older prefect poking his nose around. He seemed to be on the prowl for fresh meat as was the case with many other older students on the train. Maybe when she was older she would understand the thrill of the hunt for younger children. But presently, at the bottom of the food chain, Selina could not see the appeal.

Grasping tight onto her wand she approached the older student. She would not be the first year who was pushed around by the older student. Making allies now would be her best option.

As she reached several feet away from the older student she tucked a strand of her deep auburn hair behind her ear and licked her light lips. Straightening her back she made her way to the prefect.

"Hello, I'm Selina Skylar. I was wondering if you could take the time to answer a question of mine?"

A Ravenclaw? So he was smart too? What was it that her father always told her? The red is for the hothead, the green is for the mean, the yellow is for the mellow, and the blue is smarter than you.

"That's cool. Everyone I've met from your house seems really nice. As well as you of course. And I've heard of the ukulele. My Dad's favorite song is "Over the Rainbow" by Iz. Didn't he play a ukulele in that?"

Without hesitation she responded, "Gryffindor."

"I mean, my whole family's been there for generations. I don't want to be the odd one out. All of my cousins were in that house too. It's a legacy that I'm so afraid I might mess up."

"What about me? Well I guess the most important thing is I'm a ginger, obviously. It holds more weight than you would think. Trust me, all of the magic in the world comes from the weight of the hair." Selina joked, "And I love Quidditch. It's a family tradition. A lot of my family, including my Dad played Quidditch professionally. Actually my Dad's on the Falcons. And I love to fly and I like school, but I doesn't come easy to me. I have to work for it. Also I guess I kind of have a serious drive. Everything I do needs to get done. It's kind of a fault."

"So which one of your parents is a muggleborn or muggle?"

PhoenixIncarnation 12-31-2010 05:34 PM

RP anyone?

Alice looked down at the victorian dress she still held in her hands and went back to her compartment, she stood on top of the seat and put her dress safely into her trunk, which had an expansion spell on it that her mother had done for her. Alice then grabbed her wand from the small wand compartment on the side and placed it in her wand pocket in her robe.

Alice felt extremely awkward wearing the modern clothing, she felt almost naked in the Outfit which, to be honest, by modern standards was quite conservative. The eleven years of wearing only Victorian style clothing had really done a number on Alice's senses.

Because of how much her victorian clothes had covered her up Alice now felt cold and shivered sitting back down onto her seat. Her raven, Percival, was still perched on her shoulder.

Looking up from her Quidditch magazine Selina saw a young girl in the door of her compartment. Smiling she gestured to the girl to have a seat beside her. It was fine with her. Besides the girl seemed nice enough that she didn't mind sharing the compartment.

" 'Course. Have a seat. I'm Selina by the way."

Hm, perhaps sitting in the middle of the train corridor wasn't as interesting as Keeley had planned on. Of course, a couple of people stepped on and/or tripped over her, and there was the majority of passerby who gave her an odd look, as if to say, 'Um.. why the heck are you just sitting there?'

Scooping up her extremely fat old cat, Aphrodite, Keeley brushed back one of her many messy braids. Still no open compartments, either. Meh, might as well do something productive while she waited for something to happen. Almost automatically, the girl pulled out her sketchpad, impulsively doodling whatever came to her head.
