Back to "normal", the Arithmancy classroom had refashioned itself over the few days since the last lesson. The chairs and desks were now arranged in a semi-circle, with the larger desk for Hadley completing the circle. It almost looked like how one might imagine a Kindergarten classroom to appear, minus the large desks with a shelf under them.
Professor Hadley sat perched in the chair at her own desk, her hands placed neatly on top of it. There were however, two items that were normally found in her office which seemed to have made their way to the classroom. If you'd visited the Professors office, you might recognize the faces in the photographs - one containing the Professor herself with her two sisters and the other of her parents.
"Take your seats, we'll begin shortly," Hadley said, rather cheerfully.
ooc: The actual lesson will be begin in approximately 14 hours from now. You're welcome to RP your characters entering, but please limit your chattering. You've been warned. Also, if you haven't submitted your homework, you have until the actual lesson opens. (So ~14 hours). They'll be graded over the weekend/next week - for those who have submitted. The lesson has begun... If you missed RPing your characters entering just pretend like you've been here the whole time. =)

Now this was a class she always looked forward to! Or...she was until she was just outside the classroom and realized she didn't bring a quill and brought the wrong notebook. What...what was this? Some cruel way to get back at her for putting off her Transfiguration homework for so long!?
Cruel world!
Walking into the classroom anyhow, not feeling like walking all the way back to the dungeons from the second floor, the Slytherin sighed at the circle like way the desks were situated before smiling sweetly to the professor. "Good day, Professor Hadley." she said, taking a seat at the desk next to the Professors. Eh, might as well. It was close to the door too so she could stare others down as they came in.

Emily dragged her feet, somewhat reluctantly into the classroom. She was incredibly tired, her eyes struggling to stay open. "Hello Professor Hadley" she said, making the effort to smile.
She sumped into a seat at the front of the class, hoping the proximity to the Professor will keep her awake. She began to take out her writing materials and set them on the desk in front of her.
Caroline sluggishly walked into the Artithmancy classroom. Although the most of the time she didn't understand the class, she did her best, and usually worked out good for her. She had to admit that Professor Hadley was one of her favorites this year. She walked by the professor's desk on the way to finding her on seat. "Good Morning, Professor Hadley"Caroline said, gleefullly. She found at seat with no one else around yet and took a seat. She put her bag on the desk and pulled out what she needed for the class, notebook, quill, and textbook. Check check and check. All that was left to do is to wait for class to start.

Running, running, running, stopping, trying to stop, skidding.
Bushy tailed and wide eyed, Ivory skidded past the doorway just a tad out of breath. Ooooh, what kind of prefect was she anyway. Running late and interrupting. She'd never keep her badge at this rate.
Lips parting apologetically to excuse herself, she paused just inside of the classroom. The near empty classroom.
"Oh."
Oh, was right. Yes...well...hmmm. It would seem she was not late after all. Staring down incredulously at her charmed wristwatch, she shook her wrist energetically.... as if that alone would make the apparently running fast minute hand drop back. Gah. It would seem glaring at the watch face made no difference. She'd rushed, dressed in a hurry, ran flights of stairs wearing two different socks only to be right on time and maybe even a little early.
Exhaling a sigh that sent her longs bangs up and out of her eyes, she walked all the way into the classroom with a smile towards the woman sitting behind the desk. "Hello, Professor."
Plopping down on one of the front seats, she leaned back slightly. Now to catch her breath and get rid of that ridiculous hammering feeling in her chest that always happened when she woke up late. Or well, 'thought' she woke up late.
Walking into the classroom Emily smiled at the teacher. "Good day Professor!" Good job she was in a good mood today. The letter was still in her bag!
She bounced to her seat and took out her things. Hopefully the lesson would keep her in this good mood. (They happened only rarely!)

Arithmancy, whoo! It was a class Vashti always liked, and so she was usually in a good mood when there was a lesson. This day was no exception.
She entered the classroom and greeted Professor Hadley with a smile. "Hello, Professor," she said, before quickly finding a seat. She set her bag down on the floor by her seat then pulled out her textbook, quill, and notebook and set them on her desk.

Jaina sat down at a desk and said "Hello, Professor." She pulled out her notebook for class, along with her quill, sketch book from Charley, and her drawing pencil. She'd spent all night and most of her free time working on a drawing of an abraxan for Ben and it had to be perfect.

Arithmancy. Not one of K-Lee's favourite subjects. She had never been very good at it, but she atill was giving it a go.
Walking into class, K-Lee sat down on one of the seats. Now remembering she had forgotten to greet the professor, she quickly did so. "Hello professor." she just had to hope the lesson wouldn't be too hard.
As he entered the room and headed for the back of it, Jake gave Hadley an 'mmmm' of greeting, clearly not in any mood to be anywhere. He sat at the back and siiiiiiighed, as though he NEEDED the rest.
And he did.
With a slight smile, Jake just... sat.

Claire walked into arithmancy feeling tired. She never got enough sleep. Oh well. It wasn't going to keep her from doing as well as she could in class. She wouldn't let it. As she walked past the professor's desk, she smiled and said, "Hello, Professor Hadley." It wasn't the most original thing to say, but it was better than saying nothing, right?

Yay for Arithmancy! Perhaps, next to Care of Magical Creatures, it was Kurumi's favorite class because there was almost always a logical answer. It felt refreshing to Kurumi right now to have something constant, something definite, and the feeling probably showed on Kurumi's face as she bounced into the classroom. "Good day, Professor," Kurumi smiled before taking a seat.
The layout of the room confused Kurumi for a moment and the pictures of Professor Hadley's family made her even more so. Thinking about her family was probably one of the last things she wanted to do right now.

Ah another day another arithmacy class which was a good thing since Simon fairly enjoyed and did well in the subject so he was looking forward to it. Stepping inside the classroom with his bookbag over his shoulder, he glanced around taking in the layout of the room since it tended to change as well as the students already there. "Hello professor," he greeted with a polite nod before crossing to the other side of the room. Taking a seat at one of the desks and setting his books on top as he waited for class to begin.
Jacob walked into the arithmancy class, greeting the professor with a loud yawn. He wanted to go to bed, today was going so slowly, and he hadn't gotten enough sleep last night, he had studied for OWLs all last night... today was not a day for anyone to mess with him.
He walked over to a emtpy desk and put his bag down, before dropping himself into the chair, "UGHH!" he groaned loudly and his head smacked down onto the desk, he wasn't really sure when the last time he was so tired.... oh yeah, yesterday.
Luin walked into the Arithmancy classroom, said, "Hello Professor" then looked around and quickly found a seat at the front of the class. She quickly pulled out her supplies and sat back in her seat, thinking as she twirls her quill with her fingers. This term had been quite a lot of work so far.
She glanced around the room, hmm, they definitely needed more ravvies to participate more, they needed to make up on their points.
Selina walked into the classroom yawning. She had been up the night before working on practicing her Potion making for Lafay's class. When it hit midnight she had already lost track of time and was well into her study period. Only at that time did she notice how late it was and she scurried off to bed. Now, the morning after, she was feeling the effects of her late night.
She passed the Professor's desk and said, "Morning Professor." Then Selina took her seat and waited for class to begin.
Elle tied her hair up in a pony before entering. Hair as neat as possible, she chose a seat somewhere in the middle of the class and took out the necessities: notebook, quill and textbook.
But of course, before sitting, she greeted the Professor. "Good morning, Professor Hadley," she said with an earnest smile. "Can't wait for class!"
Lucy entered the room and saw someone had already taken her seat. oh, she didn't like that, that was so bad. Never mind i'll take the other seat she thought and looked for some better seat. She got a seat and sat there. She looked at Professor and said "Hey Professor, how's the day?" and smiled.

Iris walked into the classroom. Arithmancy... the perfect way to start the day, really. Today, she'd scraped her hair back into a pony tail. Being honest, Iris couldn't be bothered with looking as perfect as she could EVERY day. It was too much effort.
Offering Professor Hadley a smile as she entered the room, Iris then walked over to her usual seat, and begun to take her things from her bag. As Iris took her quill out of her bag, she noticed the photos that were in the classroom. She raised her eyebrow slightly, wondering why they might be needed.
The last lesson sort of bored him. Well, in all fairness to Professor Hadley, almost all of his lessons bored him these days. He needed a boost of some sort, probably a letter from a certain Durmstranger will do, so as to bring his spirit or essence back to his body, so as to stop him from being both a slacker and procrastinator. He was preparing for the upcoming NEWTs, however. And that wasn't really slacker-ish.
Cedric lingered on the threshold of the room for some seconds... for no particular reason but you could say he was just fighting the urge to walk away.
With mustered courage and willingness to do so, he walked into the room and gave the professor a small smile with a "Good day, professor" and then he, of course, walked to his usual seat: the one in the front row.

Alex walked into the classroom happily. He wasn't late and he wasn't wearing his chicken costume. Yes, it all pointed to the fact that young Mr. Reed was shaping up. Nevermind that it had taken four of his friends to get him out of the chicken suit which he had insisted he would wear to class.
"Good day Professor." he smiled and took a seat. So, right Arthimancy. Numbers and such right? Yay for a class that made him look stupid.

Arithmancy--it was a subject Sierra neither hated nor loved. She was on the fence about it, pretty much. With a rather blank expression on her face, she pushed open the door to the classroom, walked inside, and...
...immediately perked up. Oh, look! Evelyn's here, too! Maybe Arithmancy wouldn't turn out to be so meh after all. It seemed like it'd been weeks since Sierra had seen her older Slytherin friend. Sure, they'd been at Quidditch practice together, but at the same time, practice didn't allow much catching up time, now did it?
Sliding into an open desk next to Evelyn, Sierra turned her attention to her friend. "Hey, Ev," she greeted. She should probably say hello to Hadley, too, right? With a glance up to the front, she added, "Morning, Professor Hadley."

Of course Evelyn would be one of the first, if not THE first to enter the room. "Good day, Miss Flores ... Shepard." She said, still rather cheerfully despite almost forgetting the second half of the girl's name. Somehow though she had the distinct feeling the girl would find today's lesson interesting; what with her having taken on her best friend's name and all.

And in walked half of the Quidditch Captains; it was nice to see them focusing on some definitive and logical classes, in addition to just Quidditch.

Another quiet one, but this one was a prefect. Offering a return smile back at the girl, Professor Hadley just hoped she was handling alright. She imagined the girl had a lot on her mind, even if she didn't have any major exams to take this year.
