The little redhead opened her parchment and begin to write down every question. She had studied so hard for this class- she read every chapter in the book. When he asked one qustion Selina put her hand up, but the older students dominated the conversation. She sadly whispered under her breath, "The Thurisaz rune."

Right? Hmmm.

...at least Hufflepuff wasn't winning this time, though. Who was winning, anyway?! For all she knew, it very well could be the Puffers. "Thurisaz?" she guessed.

Being there all the time, a bit sleepy though, Helena just stood quietly in her seat. She knew most of the right answers, but didn't exactly get the chance to say them first. Anyway, as she heard that the last question was just for the girls, she decided to raise her hand, even though she wasn't quick enough. "Is it... Thurisaz?"

"Thurisaz is right. Two points for Slytherin for being first. The next question is for the boys only and is also worth two points." He ate another mini chocolate frog, letting the tension grow a bit but not noticing it himself.

"Who is the the Guardian of Bifrost bridge?"

ooc: I have work today so won't be posting again for at least six hours.

Steelsheen 02-10-2011 10:05 PM

"Heimdall Professor?" Salander responded raising his hand

DuckyLinJi 02-10-2011 10:06 PM

Oh! he knew this...he thought.. "Isn't it Heimdall the guardian, sir?" he asked while raising his hand.

Walrus 02-10-2011 10:06 PM

Jacob was a boy... maybe. Text book away!

His hand shot into the air, and said. "Uhm... Heimdall" maybe... unless Jacob was being silly

Holmesian Feline 02-10-2011 10:07 PM

"Heimdall or Gullintanni," Simon answered lowering his hand.

Jason Potter Weasley 02-10-2011 10:11 PM

Did we get an only male questions>" Rex asked the professor.

top94a 02-10-2011 11:04 PM

"that is another point for slytherin, I think" Raven mumbled, the question is throw in time he didn't notice

RedRabbit 02-11-2011 02:53 AM

*Raising a hand Matty said.*
"Heimdall the god who possesses the horn Gjallarhorn, sir."
*But someone else had already said it. Grr come on Hufflepuffs!*

Rosa Chispa Princessa 02-11-2011 03:26 AM

Chloe had been listening to the questions an made some mental notes of the answers but so far there had only been one question for 6th yeaars that she just did not know the answer to. And now the queston was just for the boys Sigh. She hoped that soon she may get another chance to possibly earn points soon.

Jason Potter Weasley 02-11-2011 04:15 AM

Rex found out the males did get the next question. Slythein with another point, Oh well. hopefully Gryffindor will catch up.

Lady of Light 02-11-2011 04:28 AM

Viola looked on as the boys gave their answers. She hasn't had a chance to answer yet. She sighed and started tapping her quill on the desk, waiting for the next question. If it's for the girls as well.

BearyMay 02-11-2011 11:23 AM

Dianna raised her hand.

"Hei..uh.. Heimdall!" she exclaimed as she raised her hand. Maybe that was to loud. "I mean Heimdall, Professor." she smiled innocently.

Hera 02-11-2011 02:47 PM

Emily couldn't help but snigger... the slytherin girl obviously thought she was a boy.

Weasley174 02-11-2011 11:48 PM

Simon decided that he would make something up since he was so late. "Mr Bean?" Simon said, he had no idea who it was, he also couldn't believe he had heard a girl speak, wasn't this a question for boys? well maybe she hadn't heard the Professor say that.

"Correct. Two points for slytherin." Truebridge glanced around but didn't comment on missed answers or odd questions. "The next question is worth two points and anyone can answer. What is Megingjardar?"

Roselyn 02-12-2011 01:40 AM

Hmm, glancing to the board, Evelyn smiled before raising her hand once more. "Megingjardar is a belt worn by Thor. It supposedly makes him stronger." she said before lowering her hand.

Walrus 02-12-2011 01:41 AM

Jacobs hand shot into the air... he was anyone... someone... "Isn't it some sort of magical belt" he commented/asked, as he put down his hand

Felixir 02-12-2011 01:41 AM

Jake flipped through his book and raised his hand after skimreading. Eh. He'd prolly be wrong.

"Some kinda magic belt worn by... Thor?"

That one was closer but Evelyn gave her answer a split second before the boys did. "Two points for Slytherin. Next question is for Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.. For two points, while he is associated with several, which rune is Odin most associated with?" Truebridge looked around expectantly.

sweetpinkpixie 02-12-2011 01:45 AM

"Ansuz, I believe." Kurumi said raising her hand and finally taking her nose out of the book she had borrowed. Had she missed a lot?

Weasley174 02-12-2011 01:50 AM

"Professor is that Othila?" Simon decided that he would just guess.

"Ansuz is right. You can borrow that book for a while if you like, Kurumi, as it seems to interest you. Two points for Gryffindor. Next Question will be for Ravenclaw and Slytherin. worth another two points. How did Tyr lose his hand?" Truebridge nodded at the little Gryffindor and then looked around trying to guess who would be first.

Roselyn 02-12-2011 01:52 AM

...

"A wolf bit it off?" she asked more then said, after raising her hand of course. Eesh, that was a horrible way to lose a limb!

Ehh.

The1HBIC 02-12-2011 01:54 AM

Marie"s hand shot in the air. "His right hand was bitten off by the gigantic wolf Fenrir."
