Adam was randomly sitting in the corner of the Owlery...He saw Ever Lily and ran to her. He went to pet her owl but it seemed to want to attack him so he backed off a little."Hey you ,girl."He said hugging her with one arm.

"Hey you, boy!" She replied with a giggle, "Fancy seeing you here," she added.

"Oh, this is my owl, Azumi," she said brightly. "Wanna pet her? She won't peck you to death...maybe...never mind." She said quickly.

"Azumi?Is she Japanese, it sounds Japanese."Adam said trying to pet the owl but quickly retreating his hand. "No I don't have a owl, I was just writing a letter to my parents...Anyways, who are you writing to?"

Carmela walked into the Owlery. SHe looked around and saw a small brown and cream owl picking at some food. "Dora!" She cried and her owl flew through the air and landed on Mela's shoulder. "How's my pretty baby?" She cooed stroking the owl lovingly. Dora hooted.

The little owl nipped it's owner's ear as if saying she loved her. "I love you too!" Mela said laughing.

Adam momentarily let go of Lily and walked over to the other girl with the owl."Hey, I know you right? You were crying at the common room the other room, right?"Adam whispered to the girl petting her own owl.

Katie walked into the owlery, there was he awesome owl Destiny, sitting there as if she was the queen, Katie walked over and gave her a pat, "How's my favorite owl in the whole wide world going?" Katie said to the owl, Destiny flew onto her shoulder, Katie was proud to have an owl like his by her side.

"Yeah, she is," Ever-Lily recalled the shopkeeper at Diagon Alley telling her this.

"I was writing to a muggle friend of mine, Laura. She thinks I've gotten accepted into a foreign exchange student program, since I couldn't tell her where I was going." She explained.

"You could borrow Azumi if you like, to send the letter," Ever handed her owl an envelope. Azumi cocked her head to one side, looking at Adam with sorry eyes.

"Actually, I need to proofread this..."He had forgotten he had asked for Kurumi's help to right to Alex. Because Adam on his own, well he'd probably tell Alex everything about himself..."But thanks, I'll use her next time.She's cute, like the owner..."

Adeline walked in to vist Roro! She looked for her and found her and started to play with her like a goofball. SHe saw Adam and Ever-Lilly and Katie and said "Hey you guys!"

Awww, sweet. Lily blushed and giggled, playfully pushing his arm.
"So, are you feeling better? I heard you were sick yesterday.." She asked worriedly.

Pam walked up and called out for her owl. A tan, owl flew down onto her shoulder. Pam ruffled the feathers of her bird. She was such a pretty bird.

"Hey sweetie. How are you?" The bird hooted in response.

Lexi climbed the stairs to the owlery still in the blood stained pyjama pants, hands newly bandaged. She sighed as she reached the top and pulled Finn's hooide over her head to get a little more warmth. Whistling loudly she waited for Wasabi to fly down out of the rafters and light on her outstretched arm. She stroked the bird's head and laughed. "You never stay mad at me for long," she said as she kissed the bird's head. She looked around and waited for Finn to arrive.. She REALLY needed to talk to him about this whole Sabel thing... Sabel had been right about so much that it seemed like she HAD to talk to Finlay about things now.

Brrrr. It was coold. Why did Lexi want to come all the way out here? He plunged his hands into the pockets of his hoodie as he climbed the stairs. She still had his scarf too, so his neck was nice and cold too. He knew she needed him though, so he really wasn't that bitter for her taking him out of the nice warm common room. It was a bit lame that they weren't in the same house really.
He saw her as soon as he got at the top, and he instantly looked worried. "Lex?" He called out, as he approched her. He figured that she had the hood of her hoodie pulled up to keep warm, but as he got closer he couldn't help but notice the blood. That made him worried too. "Are you hurt?"

Lexi was unreasonably startled as Finn approached. She knew he was coming but she was so busy talking to Wasabi that she was taken aback by his voice. Laughing shakily she shook her head. "No, I just busted my hands open again when I was arguing with Sabel. He bandaged them up though. It's fine," she said quietly. She pulled the sleeves of his hoodie over her hands much like she had in the corridor. She was not keen on showing people her injuries. She wasn't wearing any makeup tonight so the nasty scar under her eye was visible. Sigh.

"I have had a terrible shouting match and I am not sure WHO all heard it aside from the entire contents of the Gryffie common room and the corridor outside of the common room. I needed to talk to you. He really made me see a lot of faults in myself... I am sorry if I haven;t been the best girlfriend, if I haven't opened up. I am just scared is all, Finlay. I am afraid that everyone will leave me again. Like before when I was all alone in St. Mungo's. Sabel was the only person that wrote me while I was there, but I never wrote him back..." she stopped and choked back a little whimper. She was NOT going to cry anymore tonight. Not over Sabel Dakest. No way. She loved Finlay and he made her so happy.

Finn really didn't like that she didn't seem to want to show him her injuries. She couldn't hide the one of her face though, not when she hadn't covered it with make up. He moved his hand up to her face, tracing the scar on her face. He had a feeling that she probably wasn't going to like him seeing her scars, but he really thought that they made her even more beautiful. He kind of wished she didn't hide them, because they just proved that she was strong and could get through anything. He leaned forward, kissing her cheek. "Do you like my hoodie then?" He asked with a little grin. He assumed so seeing as she was wearing it.

Awww. Poor baby. He grabbed her wrist, pushing the sleeves of his hoody up a bit, before linking their fingers together. "I'm not going to leave you Lex." He assured her with a sad smile. He hated knowing that she felt like that. "And I'm never going to allow you to become alone like that again." Using his other hand he stroked her cheek gently. "Please know that you can open up to me Lex. You can tell me anything and I won't walk away."

Lexi was just about to pull away from Finlay when she decided to hell with it. She let him touch the half moon, ragged scar on her face and sighed. "Sectumsempra spell. That is why it never healed properly," she said quietly.

Looking down at the hoodie she smiled and nodded her head. "It still smells like you too," she noted. She had smelled it as she put it on just before he came up. "I am afraid your scarf is still in my common room though," she said.

She didn't wince or pull away as he took her hand. "I will try to open up more. I will, I promise. I really believe you... I do. It is just hard to change my ways since i have been this way for all my life," she said. No one understood...

Ahhh. That explained things. Finn let his fingers linger over the scar gently. "I see." He smiled at her. The horrible scare didn't make her any different to him. "You're still beautiful Lex, even with this scar." It didn't make a difference, not in his eyes, but he could see why she wanted to hide it, people would stare. His hand dropped down, and he smiled at her. She probably wouldn't believe him, but he didn't really care.

He laughed at what she was saying, and he pushed the hood down. He had been right, because the hoodie was far too big for her. "Keep my scarf." He replied with small shrug. He did however realise that she would have two now seeing as he hadn't had the one she'd borrowed for the task back yet.

He smiled at what she was saying, and he glanced around. It was all poopy, so he decided that it was best not to sit down. "It's okay baby." He nodded at her, letting go of her hands, and hugging her. "I love you Lexi I just want you to be happy."

Lexi opened her eyes and searched his face. He was perfect. That sealed the deal there. "Thank you Finlay. That means a lot to me," she said with true emotion behind her words. She thought the scars that littered her body made her hideous, but hearing him say that made her feel better.

"If I start keeping all of the things you give me you won't have anything left," she said with a chuckle. She still wasn't comfortable being so darned vulnerable so she fidgetted a little with the too long sleeves of the hoodie.

Lexi tried to put everything she was feeling into their hug as she said, "You make me happy, Finlay. You have no idea how happy indeed." She felt tears of joy, relief, hurt, shame... all emotions she had been feeling tonight... vanish. She wasn't going to cry anymore tonight. No way. She sighed and released Finn from his hug. "We should get back in the castle before we catch our death out here," she said with a little shiver for emphasis.

Finn smiled softly at her, squeezing her hand gently. "I'm only telling you the truth." He really was but he could see that it meant a lot to her. He really would like to see her like this more often, without the make up, but he had a feeling that she wouldn't let him. He stepped closer, bending his head down to whisper to her. "I'd like it if you sometimes didn't wear makeup around me Lex. You look absolutely dazzling without it." He wanted to her to be more confident about herself, even if it was only around him.

"Oh. I can surely by more things." He laughed, tucking a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear. "And I have more things than 2 scarves and a hoodie my love." He shrugged, smiling at her though. But to be honest he'd let her have anything she wanted.

"Then that is good." Finn smiled at her, as he pulled back. She did look a little happier now, and it helped him feel a little less worried. He didn't want to go back to the castle though, because they'd probably be herded to their common rooms, and he really didn't want to leave her on his own. He laughed as she shivered. "I can't believe you're still cold with that on." He grinned, as he led her back towards the stairs.

Lexi blushed slightly and giggled a little. "For you, I will," she said softly. If he could appreciate her in all of her war wounded glory then she could handle letting him see her that way.

She chuckled slightly before saying, "Well I am sure you have, but I mustn't keep all of your things. I can hardly give you one of my hoodies or robes, now can I? But I can give you a lovely Gryffindor scarf." She said the last with a cheeky grin. He would look good in red and gold.

"I think I am just drained is why I am cold. We don't have to go back in though. I can cast a warming charm over myself and be done with it if you would like to have a stroll around or something of the sort," she said flicking her wrist and unholstering her wand.

Lexi was actually going to do it for her. That really made him happy, that she would do that for him. "You really are wonder Lex." He smiled, tracing his fingers over her scar again. He really thought she was ever so beautiful, and he wasn't just thinking it to make her feel better.

He actually laughed at what she said. He pictured himself wearing one of her robes. It was not a nice sight. Although it would be pretty cute. "That'd be nice." At least he'd have a scarf then. hehe. And then they'd be that cute couple that exchanged items, because they were that awesome.

"My poor baby." He frowned a little, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. He didn't like it when she was cold. Oh mann. Why hadn't he thought of that? They were wizards afterall. "That sounds fantastic. But if you're drained....I think I'd prefer walking you back to you're common room. You'll need your rest."

Hehe he thought she was wonderful. She smiled lovingly at him as she cast a warming charm on both him and herself. "You are what makes me wonderful, Finlay Carmichael. You," 'and only you' she thought to herself. She would get better at loving herself as he loved her more. SHe could feel it.

She gave him a little pout and nodded her head. I would like to go back to my common room actually. I am knackered. You wouldn't be a gentleman and carry me would you? I am ever so tired," she said dramatically as she clung to his arm as if for support. Hehe.

Ahh. There you go. They were warmer now. That was perfect, and it was a bit bad that he hadn't thought of it before. "Well. I will continue to make you wonderful Alexandra." He spoke quietly, as he leaned forward, brushing his lips against hers gently. He did hope that she would be happy though, because he didn't want her to be sad, not when he was feeling so happy.

"I thought you were tired." He could read people easily. Hehe. He laughed at what she said. "Man. You are so freaking cute Lex." He stuck his tongue out at her, before scooping her up into his arms. "Hold on tight."

Lexi smiled up at him and chuckled. Running a finger down his cheek she said, "Yes you will." She was sure of it. They would SO be together for like forever. He was too perfect to let go of.

Lexi giggled happily as she was scooped up into his arms. She held tightly to him and said, "Ah, my knight in shining armour."

Hugo looked around for his owl, Athena. After a while he spotted the pretty barn owl, and walked up to her.

"Hi there, Athena, how's it going?" he whispered as he petted her.
Athena looked back and made a little sound as she layed her head on Hugo's arm.
She flew up and sat on his hand. Hugo walked around as he gave her a treat.

"Good girl." he said as he gave her a careful hug. He really loved his owl.
