WHAT!?

Perhaps that scarf was tied around Evelyn's neck too tightly and it was making her have trouble breathing. So, Destiny decided to help her out a bit. “YOU BETTER CHANGE MY TIE BACK! I NEED IT!” Because really, she couldn't find any of her other ones. She suspected Sly got a hold of them, and in a jealous rage, he went and hid them. What a crazy cat.

Perhaps if she wasn't sitting so close to the fire she would have realised that she just handed, or thrown, her jumper over. It took her until Evelyn was sitting with a very unfolded like gray blanket, did she realise what she had done. Now she was tie-less and jumper-less. A very dramatic scoff escaping her mouth, she crossed her arms over her chest.

“I need my stuff.”

So she could practise, of course!

Merlin! "I WILL!" Did she not say she would!?...Wait, didn't she? Eh, she couldn't remember. Oh well. It's not like she wanted a chocolate stained scarf.

...OMG. There was chocolate stains on the scarf still. What the heck!?

Pfft. Untying her shoelaces, the Slytherin took off both shoes before sitting them to the side. Teehee. Now the socks! "You could totally start your own transfigurations you know." So, Evelyn could see if she was doing hers right. There was just something about asking the professor for help that didn't sound appealing at all. "Geminio." She just needed to duplicate one sock is all. Wooot!

"Manus Vellus." Think...mitten! MITTEN! It, it was a mitten. It was a boring gray mitten, but still something able to put on a hand.

...it was waaaaay too big though.

Did Evelyn have to yell like that? It wasn't like Destiny was the one with a scarf wrapped around her neck. She could still hear properly. “Fine, jeez. I was just making sure.” And that chocolate stain better still be on it when she changed it back to normal.

Arms still crossed, she rolled her eyes when Evelyn told her to start her own transfigurations. That was easy for her to say. “Are you going to let me use your tie and jumper?” And socks, because really, with all the fire in the classroom, Destiny taking her shoes off was not a good idea. Who knows what would happen then.

She turned her attention to the fire briefly just imagining that. Professor Ruffles would be so angry! Turning back to Evelyn, she couldn't help but laugh at the ginormous mitten. “You plan on giving that to a troll?”

Snort.

Pssh, fine! "Here! Just, take them..." Unwrapping the stained tie scarf off of her neck, she pushed both the scarf and blanket towards Destiny before turning her attention back to her socks. Good thing there was a fire! Otherwise...her feet would freeze in this non-winter weather. "You have to revert them back though."

Because, well Evelyn didn't want to. Destiny would probably do a way better job at it then she anyway, as hard as it was to admit that. Mentally. No, she wasn't going to let her use her jumper and tie either! Meh!! That's what her own was for!

Staring down at her large mitten, the Slytherin scowled, and scowled some more. One of these days, she was going to get a transfiguration spell right on the first try. Right length, material, color, everything. And she was going to scowl some more! Even after her friend just said that. Staring up at her, finally a small smirk appeared as she pushed the LARGE mitten towards Destiny like she had done with the scarf and blanket. "Alright then. Here."

Mwaha!!

And that is how you get the job done. Take a lesson from Destiny; annoy people and you get what you want. Unless that person happens to be a Professor..or a parent..but a Grandmother and best friend, works every time. Snickering to herself, she pulled her..scarf and blanket closer. Right, she had to revert them herself. Well, that was easy!

"Reverto!" she said, first changing her scarf back into her tie, and YES! The chocolate stain was there. She didn't know why she was so happy about that, but she was. Another 'reverto' towards her blanket, she was HAPPY to see her jumper back in all it's gray and stain free glory.

Pushing her jumper to the side, she was just about to transfigure her tie into a scarf when Evelyn decided to THROW that ginormous mitten at her. "I said a troll..not me...heeeeey!" Evelyn totally called her a troll, didn't she? Scoffing, Destiny forgot about her tie for a moment. "Engorgio." she whispered, and when the mitten was big enough, she opened it up and placed it on Evelyn's head. "There. You don't need a hat now."

As Destiny started reverting the blanket and scarf back into the jumper and tie, Evelyn started on the second sock in her lap, changing it from a boring gray sock into..."Manus Vellus." Another gray boring mitten. Meep! At least she was getting hang of the spell. Just a small circular flick thing, and...Voilà! SMALLER gray mitten.

Smiling at her achievement, because creating a small enough glove for her hand was a HUGE achievement in her mind, the Slytherin snickered as it seemed Destiny finally understood what she was on about with the whole...giving her the larger glove. "Just a joke." Teehee.

A joke that apparently her friend didn't get. Ack! GETITOFF!

Flinch! FLAIL!

TOSS!

Meep! Yea, she threw it. Where she threw it though, she didn't know. It was just instinct!

An evil cackling laugh escaping Destiny's mouth as she placed the mitten!hat on Evelyn's head, she turned back to the tie in front of her. Right. She could totally do this! If that annoying Raccoon Girl could do it, she could. Not that she knew if Raccoon Girl could do it or not, but thinking it made her want to succeed more.

"Escarpa Vellus." she said, drawing her wand in the vertical line movement. Feeling the tie on her lap shake and shimmy, she looked down and HUZZAH! She had a scarf! Sure it had a huge small hole in the middle, but it was a scarf and that was all that mattered. Swinging it around her neck, she snuggled into it before..

Whooooosh!

Giant mitten!hat went flying across the room. Snickering to herself as she pictured Professor Ruffles slide across the room on it, she picked up her jumper and laid it across her lap. Now, a blanket. Raccoon Girl..she could totally do this! "Vestis Cotone." she said, moving her wand in the snazzy curly q motion. Once again, she felt the shake and shimmying on her lap and looked down. Well..it was a blanket all right. A nice, bight, YELLOW blanket. Perhaps thinking about Raccoon Girl was not a good idea.

She was a Hufflepuff after all.

Meh. Wrapping the YELLOW blanket around her shoulders like a cape, she nudged Evelyn. "Hey. Give me some socks. I don't want to use my own."

And kill everyone.

Her hair! It was messed up!

Scoffing, the Slytherin tried to pat down her hair, her gaze flickering around the floor to see where her mitten!hat!sock went off to. Oh! There is was. Waaaay over there. How'd it get over there anyways? She didn't throw it that hard.

Or did she?

Summoning it back to her, Evelyn laid it back in her lap before something extremely bright blinded her. "Argh! Get it away! It burns my eyes!" And no, she wasn't talking about the fire. Why was the blanket so YELLOW!? At least make it a nice GREEN or Dark RED. Because the color red was slowly starting to grow on her. Anything but yellow.

*snicker* "You have your own socks." Besides, she was using these ones! For gloves! And...this one was supposed to become a hat. "Reverto." she muttered, thinking of how her sock was previously so the GIANT mitten went back to a normal plain boring gray sock. Thank Merlin a sock wasn't complicated. Mwa! And now...dun dun dunnn. "Manus Vellus."

...Hey LOOK! They were ugly and totally not matching. They just, failed.

Whoooooosh!

Destiny was almost knocked unconscious as the ginormous mitten!hat came zooming back towards Evelyn. Lucky the thing didn't land in one of the many fires going on. That would have been worse than being knocked out. Or..what if it landed in the fire AND knocked her out? That would have been twice as bad.

But, luckily it was sitting in Evelyn's lap, away from the dangerous fire.

Evelyn who was yelling about the color of the blanket!cape. "It's your fault it is this color, you know? If you hadn't already transfigured it, it would have been normal." Normal as in green or..blue! YELLOW is not a normal color. Hufflepuffs were not normal people so it all made sense. In Destiny's head at least.

Scoffing since Evelyn wouldn't give her socks, Destiny slowly started to unlace her shoes, hoping that she put clean socks on that morning. It was so hard to tell which are clean and which are dirty when they are all laying under the bed. With the first shoe off, she gave a quick and inconspicuous sniff in and..HUZZAH! Her socks were clean! Taking it off and taking off her other shoe, laid them down in front of herself before duplicating them. Yeah! Now she had four CLEAN socks!

"Manus Vellus." she said watching as all FOUR socks transformed into gloves.

Oh look! House unity and all that jazz.

"My gloves are better."

But..why did she need four?

What? HER fault? "You're the one that reverted it back. Maybe it's your fault. Did you think of that?" Huh!? Probably not.

Pffft.

Scowling, still cringing away from the brightness of the bright blanket, she finally turned her gaze away from it and stared down at her own gloves thing. At least her yellow wasn't blinding. It was more subtle.

Oblivious to Destiny taking off her shoes, and...sniffing her sock...the Slytherin picked up her final third duplicated sock and placed it in front of her. Awesome. So the last thing she needed to try out was the hat. NOT a glove hat. A regular hat would be nice. And maybe not a dull gray either. Seriously, what was up with these uniforms?! Heck, even she was jealous of the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons uniforms. Not that she'd admit it. But at least theirs had COLOR.

And the professors wonder why the students were so uncontrollable and annoying at times. They had to create some life in this place once in awhile! Wha? "You going to stick two of those gloves on your feet?" hehe. Why did she need four? And how did she get them to be different colors like that?

Snickering, and keeping the jealous expression off of her face, Evelyn turned her attention back to her own sock and pointed her wand at it. Alright. Small circular...flick...aaaand, "Caput letrom."

O__O!!! It was a leather hat? For real!? WOOOT! It was still a boring gray though. Pfft.

With four gloves!? Four gloves of all different colors? She couldn't possibly wear them all! She'd need two other hands for that, and she didn't know any spells or potions that would help her grow another set! Gah! Sometimes magic was so useless. It'd be easier to be a muggle.

Okay, so that was a lie. Destiny would never want to be a muggle.

"Why would it be MY fault? You transfigured it FIRST!" Scoff! She should have never gave the jumper to her. If she reverted the blanket back, her jumper better turn back to that normal, dull gray that she LOVED so much. How cool were the school uniforms? They were awesome! Or..Destiny thought so at least, and that was all that mattered.

Ignoring Evelyn because there was no way she'd be able to put gloves on her feet, Destiny pointed to the very ugly yellow glove and with a quick 'Reverto', it was once more a normal, clean sock. Now she could make a hat to go with her already awesome get-up. "Caput letrom!" she said, moving her wand in the snazzy small circular motion in the direction of the sock.

With a wiggle and a shimmy later, sitting in front of her sat a..YELLOW hat.

*FACEPALM*
