Alice took the boy's extended hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you...er...do you prefer to go by Jaxon or St. James?" Alice definitely didn't think that calling him the wrong name would make a very good impression.

Her name was so simple that sometimes it was difficult for her to not find other people's names overwhelming...especially when people went by their middle names or nicknames for their middle names...whew!

"Perhaps I ought to give it a go, huh?" Alice said upon his offering more help for her.

Alice cleared her throat before saying, "Focalia," making an x with her wand. The wood appeared in a pile before them.

Now to make it disappear. Trying to imitate Jaxon...or St. James...Alice pointed her wand at the pile and said, "Evanesco!"

At first she had thought it had worked, but she couldn't help but laugh as all but one half of one of the pieces had vanished.

"Well, that didn't completely work, did it?"

" Great" Rex told Joey. " I believed in you" Rex said to Joey.

Jenny finished her marshmallow as more people began to fill the room now. Yeah, she should practicing her own spells now. Only problem is...how DID she turn her blanket back to a scarf last time?

"Um...Kurumi? What's the reversal spell again?" Jenny also wondered if the two of them should offer marshmallows to the other people in the room too.

Kurumi, in the middle of roasting marhmallow number 2 using her flaming wand method, looked over at Jenny before popping now roasted marshmallow into her mouth. She quickly found herself unable to close her mouth because the thing was so hot. "HMMMPPHFFFYPMNNKJHJSFS," she squeaked fanning her mouth with her hands - good thing she had put her flame out. She probably burnt her mouth on the marshmallow...-grumble grumble-

Right, Jenny had asked for some help. She took out her wand again and pointed it at Jenny's blanket. "Reverto!" she said with a smile as the blanket turned back into a scarf. Oh, Jenny probably wanted to do that on her own blanket. Feeling a little ashamed that she had jumped the gun a bit, she ran over and grabbed her blanket. "Here, you can try on mine. Just a simple swish and flick and a clear Reverto should do it"

Lara was planning to practice some spells she had taken in transfiguration. So she went to the training room she though that it would be the best place to practice . Although she wanted some company with her, because practicing ALONE! That was a punishment to her . Sadly she couldn’t find anyone, so she had to go alone, As she entered the room she noticed some students already practicing so she looked around to find a nice spot for herself. However she glanced a familiar face it was that girl from Ravenclaw house Louisa and Wow she was practicing and she seemed to be vry good. Louisa has just turned the scarf into a blanket, Lara thought that it would be great if Louisa cold help her. A that moment Lara steped forwards Louisa and said “Hello there!” she grinned “How’re you Louisa! I see you’re practicing.”

Louisa looked up at the source of the voice to see this girl talking to her. She even knew her name!
Blink. Blink.
Do they know each other? :erm: Apparently they did. The girl's face was familiar but the memory won't come from the back of her mind just now.

"Hey there!" She smiled quickly before adding, "Er.. we are in the practicing room, aren't we?" Hello? We're supposed to practice spells, right? Like that's why it's called training room. Never mind that now, she needed to remember the girl's name! She was the one who helped her in their first flying lesson. Yes! Definitely it was her.

The firstie stood up and faced the forgotten girl, you know, maybe a face-to-face conversation would wake-up her memory. "Are you going to practice the warming up spells or the fire one?" Because Louisa wouldn't take risks at launching fire outside the blue circle.

Lara looked at the surprised girl she couldn’t understand why was she surprised! Yes they were at the Training room if that was the question!
Although Louisa didn't seem to remember Lara very much which was very annoying to her! but she ignored it, 'cos she wanted some company.


“Yes I’m going to practice , we’re in the practicing room, aren’t we!?” Huh! Lara smirked . Then she put her bag on the ground, opened it and got her scarf out, she also got her wand out of her pocket . She stood up cleared her throat , but what was the spell Lara thought to herself ? she thought of asking Louisa but she should know it herself she can’t ask the girl for the first spell, can she?!


Lara got out her notebook looked at the spells and closed it, as she aimed her wand on the scarf she said “Vestis cotone” and YAY it turned to a blanket, Lara was so excited about it she grinned at Louisa and said “You know my mother used to do this spell so I already know it, anyway what spell should we practice next?” she asked

Whaaaaa..? 0_0 That girl's mother used charmed blankets in the house!? W.O.W That must be great! Louisa's mom would freak out if her daughter mentioned charmed blankets in the house. "You knew that spell before?" The little girl tried to hide the overwhelming thought and kept it 'cool'.

What was her name again? She should remember really soon or just try to avoid saying it! Yessss! What a Ravenclawish brilliant thinking ^__^ "So.. erm.. I think that those spells about turning this scarf into warming-up materials are just too easy." Lie lie and show off girl! "How about we go over there.." She pointed at the glowing blue circle nearby, ".. and practice conjuring firewood and fire?" Because Louisa wasn't going to let this girl brag about her preknowledge of such easy spells, OK?

This gitl seems to surprised a lot "Yeh, I told you my mother uses it! "Lara answered shaking her head. "Yeh they're simple.. kinda..."Lara said, as she was trying to remember the next spell...oh she has just read it...

"yeh sure let's move there.." Lara said as she grabbed her bag andblanket and walked toward the spot where Louisa had pointed at.

Finally Lara remembered the spell it was "Incendio! " Lara said loudly forgetting that Loisa was here . "erm...Incendio is the spell right !" Lara said trying to excuse her sudden loud voice. "But I guess we should conjure the wood first! correct?" Lara said

Louisa tucked the blanket in her bag and made a mental note that she needed to turn it back to the scarf once she found a helpful older student. She mounted her bag and walked with the girl towards the blue circle scanning the names of many friends in her mind.

Was it Sarah? Laura? Mia? Dah! Why bother? The last info about her dad made her forget all about life and friends. She nodded her head auto as Sarah, Laura, or Mia- whatever told the spell. "Yeah. That spell's for fire. You need to conjure firewook first with 'Focalia'." She glanced towards the girl with raised eyebrows. "Don't you guys use that spell to cook your food or something?" What? Magical people are weird like that. :whistle:

The 11-year-old grabbed her wand tightly and imagined a nice, dry and well-sized pile of firewood "Focalia." Tadaaaaaaa! The imagined pile was right there in front of her. She turned to the girl with a big smile. "See? It's easy!" Yea it was just like that... no practicing during the lesson you know... nor a help from other students or the teacher; Louisa was just a genius!

"Incendio!" Uh Oh. A tiiiiny little flame was lit but quickly faded out and left the little girl's dignity defeated. Grrr.. what's wrong with the fire thing? She shook the wand violently as if it was a lighter or something and tried again "Incendio!!" More force always made the trick! Yaaaaay a decent fire was lit and started to grow even bigger via the firewood.

"Oh," Jenny could only nod as Kurumi performed the reversal spell on her own scarf. She took another marshmallow and roasted it over the fire as she pointed her wand at Kurumi's own blanket. "Um..." Jenny closed her eyes for a moment. "Reverto!" The blanket turned into a scarf...but there were a few loose threads here and there...yikes.

"Sorry!" Jenny squeaked. Of course, magic can fix everything right away, but who knows? Maybe this time it could have been an irreversible spell.

Kurumi picked up her scarf and pulled on one of the loose threads. "No biggie," she smiled. Maybe if she turned it into a blanket and back it would fix the lose treads? Couldn't hurt to try, right?

Kurumi placed the scarf on the ground and pointed her wand at it. Shoot...what was the spell again? Kurumi thought about white fluffy bunnies, that would make for a nice blanket, yes? "Manus vellus!" she said. The moment she said it though, she knew it didn't sound right.

There was a loud BOOM and purple smoke began billowing from where her scarf had been. When the smoke finally cleared, Kurumi knelt down and picked up...a pair of mittens that had the face of a rabbit on them. Oops...at least there were no loose threads though.

Jenny looked down at the newly transformed "bunny mittens." She giggled. They were so cute!!!!! However, there was no time to waste. She needed to get that spell down.

"Re--" Jenny paused. Was it reverso or reverto? Reverso makes more sense...well, there's the word reversal, so maybe...nah. Jenny reminded herself not to think too much. "Reverto!" Jenny looked down. It was back to a scarf...with sockets for fingers now. Maybe it was reverso after all.

Ooops...

Kurumi held up her scarf so that her eyes were looking through the little finger holes. "I see you," she laughed. Clearly, this thing was just not going to turn back into a normal scarf.

Hmmm....what to do...Maybe trying another Reverto would work? Kurumi decided to give it a shot and thought about what her scarf had looked like before the holy incident.

"Reverto!" and the holes were gone! Hurray! Yet...something still seemed off. Kurumi picked up the scarf to find that, yep, it was small. "Well...maybe Walnut could use it?" she said trying not to laugh at her mini scarf.

"No, wait." Jenny said as she stood up. "I got this." Yes, she had a sudden awakening about the lesson about a few days ago. Why did she think it was reverso?

"Reverto!" Jenny yelled confidently. Quickly, Kurumi's mini scarf turned back into a perfect-sized scarf in good condition. Whew.

Then Jenny noticed that the air was a bit cooler around the two of them; only a tiny flame burned in what used to be a huge fire. "Oh no."

MEEP! Their fire ws going out!

Kurumi threw the scarf up in the air and made a mad dash towards their little flame. How were they going to roast marshmallows with this?! She pointed her wand and said the first thing that came to her mind - completely forgetting what they had just learned in class. "Engorgio! Engorgio!" she said waving her wand. Instead of the fire growing stronger...the wood began to grow and was now 5 times what it had been before with the tiny flame still dancing on top of it. At least it hadn't gone out...right?

Hm...no, they can't use the now gianormous wood; they might as well risk the chance of setting the whole thing on fire. "Let's try to get rid of this wood, and then I'll summon some new word." If she knew what the vanishing spell was.

Jenny quickly pointed her wand at the tiny flame. "Aguamenti!" There's no telling what could have happened to that flame if she summoned more wood. Then Jenny quickly brushed the now partially damp wood aside and pointed her wand at the newly made clearing. "Focalia!" Sturdy, dark brown wooden planks appeared. Okay, so far so good.

Aw...bye bye little flame.

Kurumi took out her wand and waved it at the giant log and ash they had created. "Evanesco!" Now their blue circle was clean. Jenny summoned some new wood, and it looked like their best summoned wood yet. Okay, so now to light the fire again...and roast some marshmallows.

"On the count of three?" she asked pointing her wand at the wood.

"Jaxon is fine." he said with a smile.

He crossed his arms infront of his chest and said, "Okay" he said looking at the girl who will try to attempt to do the Vanishing Spell.

He nodded as she did the stance and the incantation, but she made a small flick that made the wand movement incorrect.

"Well, it takes time to practice and I bet that you will get that in time." he said.

He then moved aside and said Focalia conjuring up a pile of wood. Jaxon then made a wand movement and in a matter of seconds, the pile of wood turned into a comfortable looking couch.

He smiled at himself and nodded. This will do he thought. He then sighed and sat comfortably on the couch.

"Okay," Jenny nodded as she pointed her wand at the wood too. The other pile of wood was still there, but...they can manage controlling their fire so that it wouldn't burn that pile too.

"One..." Jenny squinted her eyes. "Two..." Her hand was shaking heavily; why did she become so focused all of a sudden. "Three...Incendio!"

She opened her eyes a little. Did it work?

"Jaxon it is," Alice said with a smile.

She cast evanesco again, vanishing the last bit that was left of her first pile. She was about to conjure another pile again when she watched Jaxon transform the pile of wood into a couch.

"That's incredible!" Alice said, watching him sit down on it. Magic really was amazing!

She reached over and touched one of the arm rests, not believing that that pile of wood could actually become a couch. Just...wow.

"Mind if I join you?" Alice asked.

She figured it was a little chilly in here so she pointed her wand at the newly formed pile of wood and said, "Incendio!"

Alice smiled as the wood caught fire, creating a nice amount of warmth in their little practicing circle. She didn't want to just sit down, so she waited to see whether or not Jaxon minded. It really was nice of him to be helping her like this.

Still practicing...
 

Lara watched Louisa as she started the fire “Good job!” she said smiling “And I really don’t know if it’s used for cooking ‘cos I’ve never watched our house elf cooking” Lara explained simply “But I remember my uncle used it when we were at the Quidditch world cup few years ago!” she said as she grabbed her wand , closed her eyes , then she opened them and waved her wand with an X saying “Focalia!”. And pile of firewood was laying on the ground . She smirked at her friend “ Now it’s fire time!” .


Lara just loves this spell. She eyed the firewood waved her wand saying “Incendio!” and there was fire right away. She laughed loudly “You know my father always tells me; Lara my daughter you’re the best fire-starter I’ve ever seen” Lara said proudly. as she looked at Louisa , she felt that this was so rude to show off like that “Erm… it’s an easy spell you know” Lara said as she got out her textbook to see what spell should they practice next.


“Mmm… How about we turn the blanket back to a scarf and then we’ll turn it to something else?!” Lara suggested as she turned to the blanket and “Revera!” she said , but nothing happened! Lara freezed at that position as her mind was thinking fast; why nothing had happened. She lowered her wand “Looks like I did something wrong” she said in a law voice as she took her textbook again and checked the spell “Oh looks like I mixed it up with another spell” Lara lied ‘cos it was just her bad hand-writing “Anyway …” she cleared her throat again grabbed her wand and eyed the blanket as if she was warning it that she may burn it if it doesn’t turn into a scarf again. “Reverto!” she said Loudly and finally it was a scarf again, Lara smiled widely as she looked at Louisa “okay..your turn!”

"3!" As Kurumi and Jenny cast the spell together, two giant balls of flame erupted form their wands and attacked their wood. Kurumi had to close her eyes a little from the blinding light, but when she opened them again they were greeted to the nice crackling of a warm and nice sized fire. "Hey, look at that," she smiled grabbing her roasting stick again and popping a marshmallow on it. "We finally made a decent fire."

"Yay!" Jenny clapped her hands as a bright fire finally burned in front of their eyes. She took another marshmallow and roasted it. Finally she and Kurumi can eat their smores in peace.

Amy skipped into the practice room happily, she was gonna practice all those new spells she learned. she stepped into the blue ring for practicing fire spells. she took out her wand "Focalia!" a nice little pile of firewood appeared at her feet. Yay! okay now to start it "incendio!" a tiny spark flew out of her wand and landed on the wood, but it fizzled out a few seconds later. She tried once more "incendio!" this time a tiny fire started on the wood woohoo! "yay I did it!" she smiled as she saw the tiny flame flickering *poof* it went out with a tiny puff of smoke, oh well better keep on practicing
