Adam held onto the huge spiders with both hands, and almost lost his balance. "I've noticed, whenever something embaressing happens to you and you tell me you are all shy...Are you still shy telling me stuff that happens to you?"He asked. "Be careful with your step, I don't want my girlfriend to be malled by spiders..."He teased her.

"N-n-no," she said a little defensively. "I...I just don't like failure." She uncovered her hand-covered face and brushed her hair aside. Hmm...might not be a bad idea to practice with him holding it. After all, this spell did only work on spiders and had no effect on humans. "Hence why I am practicing," she said matching his teasing tone. "I don't want to get malled by spiders either." She took a deep breath before taking aim. If this worked, the spider should go flying in the opposite direction, or smack Adam square in the face...no, it would go in the opposite direction. "Arania Exumi!" and a small amount of silver light shot itself at the plushie.

The light blinded Adam for a short while but he got his balance back. "Whoa, that was really bright...Is there any possibility that I can get hurt if I continue helping you with your homework right now?"He questioned, he didn't want to get hurt , living at Hogwarts made it possible for him to enjoy the place, a broken leg or arm would do him no good.

Kurumi blinked and then a wave of disappointed washed over her. The plush spider had merely turned upside down in Adam's hands. Now it looked like a dead plush spider. "No..." she said a little sadly. "This spell only works on Acromantula and spiders in general...unless you are hiding something from me!" she said in a pretend shocked voice complete with goofy facial expression. Perhaps Adam burn was not only a secret agent turned jedi, but spiderman as well?

"Hiding something from you? C'mon it's me...Of course I'm not hiding anything from you..."He said uncomfortably, then swallowing really loudly. He itched his hand and smiled nervously at Kurumi. What was she playing at, trying to get into his mind or something?

Kurumi laughed. It wouldn't have been the first time Adam had been hiding something from her. "Just wondering if you were Spiderman," she whistled as she pointed her wand again at the plush spider. "Arania Exumi!"

This time, a much bigger streak of silver light came out of her wand and shot at the spider. It then jumped ten feet in the air and landed a few feet behind Adam. Sweet....medium sized spider defeat.

"Right, umm...Nice JOB"He told her as the spider flipped out of his hands and landed behind him. He went up to her and clapped her back. "You're such a talented witch...You can do anything.."He then stopped talking, knowing he was capable of her greatness, but he never went to class or practiced anything.

"You know, it wouldn't kill you to go to class every once in a while," she winked pulling on the string to fish her spider back to her. "It would have been nice to have you there to protect me from the Acromantula..." she blushed as she made the spider grow to three times it's current size. Alright, now it was time to try and take on the giant fluffy of doom!

Adam sadly sat on a rock. "I don't like school much...Magic confuses me, so I just don't get it...And you teaching me would get too hectic- at least I know some basic spells- I'm not all dumb..."He backed off as the spider grew larger, a great fear of his.

"You know I don't mind helping you," she smiled as her spider was now at it's a decent size...like a baby elephant. "Magic is confusing to me too, but I guess I just can't accept that there is something I can't do." She smiled a little before turning her attention back to the elephant spider. Taking another deep breath, she pointed her wand at the spider and cast the spell...but nothing happened besides a silver light wrapping itself around the spider and pushing it backwards about an half an inch.

"Really????"Adam thought he'd never hear Kurumi say that magic was confusing to her, she always seemed a professional to him. Maybe she wasn't all perfect like he thought she was, she was human and had flaws too, though she was near to being perfect.

Clearly, this was going to take a bit more umpth for her to send the giant spider plushie backwards. "Of course," she said looking over her shoulder. "Why do you think I am always studying? Sure, some things come a little more naturally..." like probably about half the classes. "But I still have a lot to learn and my magic is not the strongest...yet." She looked back at the spider with a new flame in her eyes. She was going to make this sucker go flying backwards! She was!

"Arania Exumi!" she said as loudly and clearly as she could. Now, the pachyderm spider was sent shooting upwards and backwards until it....oh dear....went crashing right into the Whomping Willow's branches. Now there were bits of purple fabric and stuffing all over the place...like it was snowing...

Adam felt soft fluff land on his curly hair. He picked it up and gently threw it back to Kurumi. "Was that meant to happen?"He asked with a chuckle."Your magic isn't strong yet...Why do I feel like that is your evil plan- having strong magic?"

Kurumi blinked over and over again until a plush spider leg landed on her head. S-s-she had blown up her spider? No, it was the Whomping Willows fault. She sure hoped that the professor was OK with her not being able to return her practice spider...well, she could give back a leg at least. "Um...," Kurumi said waving the leg in the air. "I woudln't call it an evil plan exactly..." more like proving herself.

"You look worried, what going on in your head?"He asked patting her black hair."I don't know- you can get pretty mean with your magic- throwing cookies at me..."He smirked back to when they had fought constantly.

"Technically, I didn't throw cookies at you...the birds did," she corrected playfully. "I'm not really worried, well, maybe just a little. I just don't want to let myself down. I know my mother hates the fact that I am a witch...but...maybe if I get really strong and do something amazing, she will accept me..."

Adam looked at her. "It doesn't matter who accepts you for who you are or not- you should accept yourself and that way people will accept you, because Kurumi knows who she truly is...Kinda get what I'm trying to say?"He asked playfully swinging her arms.

Smiling back at Adam, Kurumi gave him a strong hug and stayed in that position for several moments. Adam could be pretty weird and random and make monkey faces at inappropriate moments, but he also knew when to say the right thing when it really counted. "Thanks," she smiled into his shoulder.

Adam wrapped a arm around her shoulder and walked off with her. "Are we done with your homework here?"He asked just in case he was forcing her to walk away from her precious homework.

"Yeah, Unless you want to try and glue Murasaki back together again," she laughed holding up the spider leg again. She looked back at the Whomping Willow that was still swaying and wacking the air at all the fluffy spider bits. She smiled up at him batting her eyelashes. She didn't really want to venture too close to the tree...the spider could stay in pieces. Poor thing

"I've heard about it," she was sure one of the younger students rambled on about it to her once. "Never been though." The woman was slightly confused about him mentioning the potions apothecary. Was he suggesting she invest in the shop or simply visit with him. Hm. "You should give me a tour of the place...." Like he had given her a tour of the castle.

Absently, her hands moved higher up his chest when he pulled her closer. Her eyes never leaving his face as she nodded her head. "He must be a good tvin to you." Handsome to. No, she didn't really know about the other stuff, but she as hell sure could pretend. "If you ever need my help in any way..."

"You... you could buy yourself a small estate in London?" Fletcher repeated, trying hard not to let his mouth drop open in shock. Dude, she was hot AND rich?! Could he just like, propose right now??! Seriously. Wait til he told Salander that one.

He shook his hair back slightly to recover from that momentary surprise. "Yeah... definitely can do..." he had never been in the shop either, let's be honest here, but would definitely scope it out for Sandra's benefit. Then again, from the look on her face, Fletcher had a feeling she wouldn't really be needing the tour. Just the tour guide.

Of course Jack was a good twin. Fletcher hadn't seen him in a while lately --- something he needed to fix --- but he was a great guy anyway. He chewed at his lip absentmindedly as his hands snaked down Sandra's back, trying to think up something she could possibly help with.

"I never knew the true love of my biological mother," he muttered suddenly. "Never received much affection as a small child...."

Affection. Hint hint. Wink wink. Never mind that Fletcher's adopted mum had been lovely and very warm right up until she got remarried.... he could conveniently forget that detail for a few minutes....

Ginny smiled at Couryney. "I probably correct. Maybe I'm just getting too worried about him. He always seems to bring his guitar every where with him so I guess he could get a crowd", she told her.

Courtney smiled. Teehee. "That could act as a problem, some people could end up getting him the wrong crowd" she replied.

The Whomping Willow?

It wasn't exactly the BEST place to be practicing this spell but Trixie couldn't think of anywhere else that wasn't particularly busy and where she could practice in peace and quiet. She wanted to get the spell right after all now didn't she? Professor Saylen scared her after all with all her, shout one more time and you'll be kicked out of class. Why didn't she just say okay go ahead? She could have avoided going into the forest then.

But she wasn't here to think about that now, she was going to get this Homework over and done with wasn't she? Yep. Now here goes nothing.

The almost seventeen year old placed the pink fluffy spidery thing on the floor in front of her, keeping a safe distance away from the actual Whomping Willow so she didn't get injured by it. That would be TRAGIC! Death by homework! She drew out her wand and stood, relaxed and ready to start.

"Arania Exumai" she declared, clearly and confidently pointing at the spider. Nothing happened? WHAT?! Why had nothing happ.......

OHhhhhh! She hadn't done the correct wand movement. She stood, back straight again and repeated the spell. "Arania Exumai" she declared once more, making an 8 shape with her wand and much to her relief, she was protected from the 'spider'. Thank goodness for that.

With a satisfied grin, Trixie picked up her toy spider and skipped off back down to the castle.

"If I vanted to," she stated simply with a small nod. Only the slightest by amused by his expression. Sandra had forgotten that he didn't know about her wealth since most everyone she considered a friend did know. Though....they hadn't done much chatting, had they. Heh. "Virtually anyvhere really, but London's on the list." List of places she would consider buying her own place that is.

Her eyes flicked to his hair, lingering as it moved before slowly returning to his eyes. She wouldn't be doing much shopping if Fletcher was giving her a tour of the shop, and hopefully the entire Alley. And she could give him a tour of her new home. Heh.

Sandra stealthily moved even closer to Fletcher when his hands snaked down her back, closing whatever gap there had been between them. Arms wrapping snug around his neck as the goast of a knowing smirk appeared on her face.

"I'm so sorry to hear that, Fletcher." She stroked his hair as a comforting gesture. Her voice lowering a notch. "I can help you receive some of that affection...." Cause she was very good at giving affection. Mmhmm.
