Sandra was slowly losing herself in thought, something she hadn't planned on doing while passing the tree. Hadn't there been a reason for the tree being placed here? She was sure that she had read some story about it when researching the school.

Her hand moved trough her hair when a soft breeze blew, eyes still on the tree. She wasn't conscious of any students around her until her name was called. Pulling herself out of her reverie, she tore her eyes away from the willow tree, a smile growing on her face when they met Fletcher's brown eyes.

He seemed a little surprised to see her....did he not expect to see her on the grounds? Hm. Well.....it wasn't like she spent much time outside. Not since she had been eliminated from the tournament.

Sandra did not miss her daily runs.

"I'm vell," The young woman moved to close the gap between them. "Hov are you, Champion?" She remembered that he had won the tournament, and would have congratulated him on the field.....had he not been surrounded by so many younger students.

She knew that Courtney would miss her a lot. "I'm pretty sure I will be but not that much", she told her.

Fletcher moved forward at the same time as Aleksandra. "I'm also... well," he nodded slowly. Of course his gaze might have wandered down the Durmstrang student's pretty dress and flowing hair.

"You look really, really nice today." He couldn't resist blurting it out any longer. And whaaaat, it was true! A true compliment.

He looked well. More than well. Heh. Her eyes never left him as they closed the gap, a smirk briefly crossing her face as his eyes traveled down her. He enjoyed doing that....didn't he.

"As do you," Her hand drifted to the front of the shirt simultaneously with her eyes as she agreed with him, brushing lightly across his chest admiringly. Though, he seemed to be making extra emphasis on just how nice she looked today.

The young woman let her free hand glide down her dress before dropping. "Its warmer than I'm used to.....decided it was time to bring out my spring clothes." New they were. Wasn't like she spent to much time in warm climates, unless on a beach.

Courtney breathed a sigh of relief. Thank the lord for that. She couldn't go the est of her life without seeing Ginny again. No way. "Ok" she replied simply. She didn't know what else to say.

Ginny had to say good bye to so many people in the last few days. It was getting harder in ways but easier later. "I'll try my best to come and see you", she told Courtney nodding.

Courtney half-smile. "I understand if you can't come see me though" she replied. She really did.

Fletcher had to clear his throat again before he could even think of a reply to Sandra. Merlin, those friendly girls from up North were hotter than the babes down South, as far as he was concerned! Not that... he knew any Brazilian supermodels or anything... unfortunately....

"That was a good idea," he agreed, reaching a hand out to brush a strand of her hair back from her face. She was certainly gorgeous in whatever she wore but for obvious reasons, Fletcher preferred the warm-weather outfits.

Ahem.

"So... champion," the Hufflepuff continued conversationally, "have any big summer post-graduation plans?"

Aleksandra was used to the reactions she got from wearing clothes that showed more skin than her usual attire. It wasn't something she did often, and when she did, she quickly found out that guys couldn't help but stare at her even more.

Normally all the staring just irked her, but when she was dressed like this, their reactions simply amused her. Especially Fletcher's reaction, he seemed to be rendered speechless.

"I'm glad you agree," a small smirk lingering briefly. Sandra never dressed to impress anyone, but it was always nice to know her hard work never went unnoticed.

She shrugged her shoulders lightly, eyes on her hand that was fingering the front of his shirt. "I'm taking a hiatus from my schooling.....maybe do a bit of traveling, haven't decided yet. Then I plan to continue studying potions." There was other things that she didn't really fit into her plans. Things that she would have to work out if she wanted her life to go as she planned.

No need to mention that though.

"Vhat about you," her eyes flicked up to his. "Do you have any summer plans?"

"I will come and see you but I'm just worried that my half-brother won't fit in because he doesn't know anyone apart from one of my other friends he kind of knows", she explained to Court.

Fletcher didn't mind her hand where it was. His own hand happened to drift down and linger on her lower back, where his other hand joined it in something of an embrace. Like a huggle, but not that close.

"So you're going to university somewhere," he nodded understandingly. He'd always known she was smart, and apparently smart enough not to be scared away by Lafay's potions lessons. "My summer plans? Well......."

The Hufflepuff pursed his lips thoughtfully and then made a noncommittal head movement, something between a shrug and a nod. "My twin and I plan to find out more about our biological parents, since... just this year we found out we were separated and adopted at birth."

That was some rather personal information he was dropping like it was hot. But maybe, if he pretended to shrug it off Sandra would grow curious and would need to comfort him about his poor, sad childhood. Maybe.

"Not necessarily a university...might do private tutoring or an internship of some sort." She still wasn't sure. Her plans of continuing her potions where on halt until she got a few other things settled. Still, her options on what she planned to do were limitless.

She would not be a potions professor though.

Her hazel's scrutinized his head movements and gestures. An eyebrow quirking up at his summer plans and who he planned on doing them with. "I did not knov you had a tvin." Two Fletchers. There was a lot of fun to be had with that.

Of course she hadn't missed the part about him being adopted or not knowing his parents. Lucky he was at that. It had hit her that he actually cared about his family and finding them though.

Funny how they had much in common in this area and yet reacted so differently.

"Maybe you could get an internship in London? That would suit you, I think." One of Fletcher's eyebrows quirked a little, both at the thought of Sandra remaining in London and the idea that she'd have to invest in some more ah... lighter-weather clothes.

Heh. "There's a potions apothecary in Diagon Alley... I don't know if you've ever heard of the place but it has a good reputation." And if she worked in Diagon Alley, Fletcher could give her a tour and come see her sometimes... they could relive their champion days.... just as friends. Good friends of course. ;-)

He hung his head just a little as her soothing words soaked into his brain. Fletcher scuffed his foot and might have unintentionally pulled Aleksandra even closer. "Yeah... it's pretty rough... not really knowing who you are.... feeling like your whole life you've lived a lie.... at least I have somebody to go through it with, ya know?" Jack wasn't a half-bad guy to have for a brother. A twin, even.

"You think so?" Her own eye brow rose to match his as a smirk formed. Wasn't difficult to figure out why he wanted her to stay in London. She herself hadn't strongly considered an internship in London or England for that matter. And she wasn't one to make decisions because I guy wanted her to. Not even a hot one. Still... "I could consider buying a small estate in London."

If she came across more reasons to do so. Like more hot guys.

"I've heard about it," she was sure one of the younger students rambled on about it to her once. "Never been though." The woman was slightly confused about him mentioning the potions apothecary. Was he suggesting she invest in the shop or simply visit with him. Hm. "You should give me a tour of the place...." Like he had given her a tour of the castle.

Absently, her hands moved higher up his chest when he pulled her closer. Her eyes never leaving his face as she nodded her head. "He must be a good tvin to you." Handsome to. No, she didn't really know about the other stuff, but she as hell sure could pretend. "If you ever need my help in any way..."

Courtney listeed to Ginny. "I'll look after him for you. I promise" she said. She loved taking care of people. With her, he'd be fine.

"Thanks, I just don't want him going over the rails here", she told Courtney. It was nice of her to take care of people.

"Welcome. I can assure you he'll be grounded while he's here" replied Courtney. She intended on keeping Cody grounded no matter what!

"I think he might but he's a good boy just depending on how he behaves and his attitude", she told Courtney. Ginny didn't want Court to keep and eye on Cody all of the time he would be at Hogwarts.

Court shrugged. "I think really he just needs to find the right crowd to mix with. It depends on who he hangs around with. I mean I living proof that that has an effect on people" she replied.

COMC- First Post.
Rex brings his yellow plushy spider to the Whomping Willow. Rex waves his wand and calls out" Arania Exumi". If this spider had been real, it would have been stopped in its tracks,

Kurumi made her way to the Whomping Willow with a bit of a bounce in her step. She hadn't stopped by to say hello since the maze in Runes, and she felt downright rude about it. She had a bottle of special sugar water in her left hand and her slightly adjusted stuffed spider in her right. Setting the spider on the ground, Kurumi poured the water near the Whomping Willow and could have sworn that it waved back at her.

OK, now that that was done, she returned her attention to her spider. Time to practice a bit. She took our her wand and pointed it and the purple plushie. "Arania Exumi!" she called as a silver light erupted from her wand and send the hand size spider shooting off in the opposite direction.

Adam walked up to the dangerous tree, he heard that it swung it's thick and heavy branches at innocent passerbyers. He edged around the tree and found Kurumi, doing her homework,again.He ran up and hugged her, not seeing her in ages. "Homework time again?"He asked in a knowing tone.

"Adam!" Kurumi smiled throwing herself into his hug. Must be the weather, because she was in an exceptionally good mood. Pulling on an almost invisible string, Kurumi's little purple spider buddy can rolling back towards her. "Yeah, Care of Magical creatures. We all almost got eaten by a Acromantula colony," she explained in a matter of fact tone despite her nearly fainting at the end of the lesson from fear. "I've been practicing the spell on Murasaki here," she said as she thrust the little spider in Adam's face. "Isn't she cute?"

OK, so she was fine with using the spell on small spiders...but she needed practice on the bigger variety...

Adam took the spider and pet it for a while. "Yeah, it's cute, really cute."He said not really knowing what more to do. "Need any help with anything- wait you almost got attacked, why is that happening to you lately- almost getting attacked?Anyways.."He said with a nonchalant shrug of the shoulder.

Hmmm...maybe if Adam dressed up as a spider...no, she couldn't bring herself to use a spell on him like that. "Um...for now just hold onto the spider," she grinned as she pointed her wand at the plush. "Engorgio!" Now the spider was far too big to be held by just one hand and was about the size of what Kurumi's brothers liked to call drop kick dogs.

"Yeah...I stepped on a branch and it attracted a few of the spiders..." she said shying covering her face.
