She couldnt help but giggle at his last comment.
"We really need to get to Hogsmeade as soon as its open."

"Get to...We can go right now...It's Friday-classes are over, let's just skip school and head over there..."Adam said happily. This was much better than all those other days he'd have to console Fee and her feelings.

"Yeees, we soo should do that", Fee said grabbing his hand to make him follow her.
This was better. Having fun was better than crying. Of course.

"Yep, sounds good." No it didn't, it sounded like it would be extremely awkward. But UGH! Ella needed to get it into her head that now was the time to move on. Aiden didn't want her anymore. Tough. She smiled up at him when he agreed on the best friends thing. But something told her that he wasn't too enthusiastic. He probably had other best friends that he liked waaaay more than Ella. Her smiled faded and she suppressed a frown at the thought.

THWACK. Right on his arm. "You're only saying that because I am dating him." Which he had no right to be mad, really. Sheesh. "Did he seem nice when you first met him?" Hmm, hmm, HMMMMMMMM? Let the interrigation session begin! And also, let the glaring begin.

Ella snorted. "Whatever! What's the biggest prank that you've ever pulled then?" Swapping someone's sugar with salt? Probably something lame like that. Bless 'im. Yes, Aiden was stupid. But Ella decided not to comment on that..
"He is a winner. Probably one of the most honest guys I have ever dated." She said with a nod, then looked away. Because sometimes throughout this conversation, looking at Aiden just made her want to sigh and cry. GR.

*BLINK*
"You would?" Ella was bewildered. Where would Aiden get in life if he ran away when anything got serious? "That's utter craziness, Aiden." She shook her head disapprovingly. Although, it did make her slightly happy that he wouldn't get serious with Savannah either. At least she wasn't alone on that one.
"No problem." She put her wrappings back into her bag, without checking her card that came with the chocolate frog. She had too many, that she had basically lost interest completely.

Bleugh. "Greeeeeat." She said simply. Moving on, moving on... "Yep, we're doing well too. I don't know if it's gonna get any more serious though." But then again, it may be a good thing to get more serious with Gaspar. He was a great guy, but Ella just couldn't see herself with him. Remembering that this was all an act anyway, she shrugged. "But we'll see." She smiled.

Maybe going to the library might make Mia want to sit down and study a little and then again maybe not. But it would look like she was studying. And that was the most important thing, right?

As she reached the fourth floor, proud of herself that she had not gotten lost, Mia stopped by the tapestry hanging on the wall to admire it for a few moments.

Only she couldn't make out what exactly it was supposed to be. Perhaps it was upside down. Mia bent over and looked at the tapestry through her legs, her head almost touching the floor. Hmm it didn't look any better from this angle either.

Marie still had Ancient Runes homework to finish but she needed to get a book about those silly runes they had learned about. Looks like she was going to the library even though she had vowed to herself to stay away from there. She didn't want people thinking she was some know it all Ravenclaw who liked to spend time with books. Maybe she could run in real quick, get the book and leave before anyone seen her there.

Passing the tapestry she stopped when she seen someone who looked like they were trying to be a pretzel. Was that... "Mia, what are you doing?" Marie had always suspected that girl was a bit strange, now she knew it was true.

From this angle, the tapestry looked as though someone had thrown up on it after having eaten her mother's beef stew. Mia was never going to let her poor mum live that down.

The blood was rushing to her head and causing Mia to feel slightly dizzy, she was just about to straighten up when she heard a voice behind her and it caused her body to jerk in fright and she hit her head on the floor.

"OW!" She whined as she finally stood up straight, rubbing the top of her head and turning around to see who it was that had just scared the heebie jeebie's out of her. "Marie!" She exclaimed rather happily, her sore head soon forgotten.

What was she doing?

"I was looking at the tapestry."

Wasn't it obvious?

Mia gave Marie a big smile and bounced on her feet a little. She was excited that the Slytherin was here, now it meant that she could put off going to the library.

Marie cringed a little when Mia hit her head. It sure didn't take much to scare that girl and Marie seemed to be getting good at it... even though she didn't really mean to do it. "Are you alright?"

Why was she looking at the tapestry upside down? The girl really was an odd duck sometimes. Her and Destiny should be friends. "Do you always stand on your head when looking at things hanging on the wall?" And why did she look so darned happy to see Marie? What was that girl up to?

"Oh yeah. I'm fine." She was always doing things like that so she was used to it by now. And besides, Mia had a hard head so she didn't really feel it.

Mia looked back at the tapestry and then back to Marie and laughed. "I thought it might look better from an upside down angle." But it hadn't. All she had gained from that was a dizzy spell from the blood rushing to her face and a bump on the head. "Do you know what it's supposed to be a picture of?" Marie would surely know she had been at Hogwarts for four years now.

"Where are you off to?"

Please don't say the library.

Please.

"That's good." Marie said when Mia said she was fine.

She looked at the tapestry trying to picture it upside down. She was not going to stand on her head like Mia did though. Nope, still didn't look like anything to her. "I have no clue, I've never really paid attention to it before." Truth was she tried to stay away fro this floor and the library as much s she could. Going to the library meant studying and she didn't like to do a lot of that.

"Well, I was off to the library," she said. "But that can wait, I don't really feel like studying now anyway. Where were you going ? You know before you decided to look like a pretzel." If she said the library then Marie would just go with her. They could talk study together.

Oh booooo!!

Marie didn't know what the picture on the tapestry was either. Mia decided that she was going to have to find out. It would be her mission now even if she had to ask everyone in the castle, she was determined to find out what it was.

Bugger!!

The girl was heading off to the library as well. Mia didn't want to go there. It meant she would have to study. Because none of the really good looking guys were ever in the library so she wouldn't even be able to distract herself with checking out the eye candy.

Ahhh...Marie didn't want to study either. Sweet. "Oh I was just wandering around." She said smoothly. Mia didn't like to tell fibs but she was not in the mood to sit in the library.

Hehe...pretzel.

That was funny.

"So how have you been anyway Marie? You look a lot happier since the last time I seen you." When they had gorged themselves on ice cream while Marie poured her heart out.

Yeah, Marie was definitely in a better mood these days. "Yeah, I decided to move on with my life. It's obvious that no matter how much I may or may not love Carter he still doesn't want to be around me." He made that clear each time she seen him and he made excuses to get away from her. "See, I even took off the bracelet he gave me," she said holding up the arm that now wore the watch Dylan had given her.

Mia clapped her hands and then threw her arms around Marie and gave her a hug. “Good for you.” Not that she was happy about Marie and Carter splitting up or anything because she liked both of them but she didn’t like to see people unhappy and moping around the place.

“So now we need to find you someone to move on with.” She would have suggested Finn but he now had a girlfriend.

Oh there were a few others she could think of. Mia looked at Marie with a somewhat serious expression. “Do you reckon you will be able to see guys without getting attached though?” Not a lot of girls were like Mia, where they could snog a guy and still remain detached.

Of course Mia didn’t feel like that about all guys.

There was one exception.

Well someone sure was happy that Marie didn't have a boyfriend anymore.

Not expecting to get a hug Marie was a little surprised when Mia threw her arms around her. "well don't hold back, tell me how you really feel," she said with a little giggle.

Someone to move on with? She didn't know if she was ready for that yet. Sure, she had Dylan that she was 'pretending' to have moved on with, but that was just an act, you know to show Carter that she wasn't waiting around for him anymore. "Um, I don't actually have a line of boys waiting for me to move on with." she said.

See someone without getting attached? Right now she didn't think she wanted to be attached to anyone. "Um, I don't know. I haven't really though about that. Why, do you have someone in mind?" Someone that could make Carter see what he lost.

Pulling back and dropping her arms from around Marie, Mia giggled as well. "It will be nice to compare notes with someone else." She rubbed her hands together, see how the boys like it when the tables are turned.

Mia could see the look on Marie's face and knew that she was having some kind of second thoughts. "Marie, that's because they're not waiting. YOU have to go after THEM. And not every guy has to be a potential snogging partner you know. It's good to be just friends as well." Like Pat, Carter and Matty was for Mia.

A small smile spread across Mia's face, "Oh I know a few guys that could help out in that department." She gave Marie a wink and then linked arms with her. "We just gotta go and find them."

Marie smiled at the comparing notes comment. "Well it will be nice to have someone to talk to about it." It wasn't like she could talk to Evelyn or Destiny about this kind of thing since they never seemed to like the guys Marie dated.

"I know they don't all have to be snogging partners. I do have friends that are guys," she said. Like Patroclus and Evan. Where had Patroclus been lately? She missed talking to him. Then there was Dylan... who would be leaving school soon. As happy as she was for him she was still feeling selfish and wanted him to stay. "Well I might go after them if I found one or more worth going after." Truth was she had been so hung up on Carter that she hadn't even paid any attention to other guys before. That was all about to change though.

Marie looked at Mia with a raised eyebrow. "Do you now? And who might these guys be?" she asked as Mia linked their arms together. "And where might they be hiding?" she said half joking since they probably weren't hiding, she just needed to open her eyes and look.

Hehe...

It would be fun to sit and talk about boys with another girl, Mia didn't really have a lot of girlfriends that she could tell her secrets too. Not that she really had any secrets, she was pretty much an open book. But still it would be nice.

"Good." Mia said with a nod of her head, "Because sometimes boys can make better friends than girls. Sometimes." She said with a giggle. This was going to be a fun little exercise getting Marie back onto her feet and back into the dating game.

Mia gave Marie a little smirk. "Oh I do. But before we go off looking for them, I have to ask..." She grinned as she steered Marie in the opposite direction of the library. They weren't going to find the boys in there. "Do you mind sharing?"

"Yeah they can," she agreed. Patroclus and Dylan had both been great friends to her. She was able to talk to both of them about her problems yet she couldn't talk to her best friends about them. There really was something wrong with that picture.

Marie looked at Mia wondering what the girl was up to. Why did she have such a strange look on her face? And why were they going this way now? The library was back there. "Sharing? Why? Did you want to share something?" She didn't have anything with her that she could share unless Mia needed some parchment which she doubted since they weren't going to the library now.

Mia rolled her eyes at Marie and then shook her head while giggling. "The boys of course. The one's that I plan on introducing you to, I've...uh...kinda already snogged before." Did that sound as bad as she thought it did?

Eh probably.

They could probably just approach some random guy that neither had met before but Mia figured it was always good to stick with what you know.

"It's okay though, cause I sorta got my eye on someone else at the moment and I'm just waiting to see how that works out." Which was probably stupid of her because he was older and leaving at the end of the year anyway. It's not likely he was looking for anything permanent and Mia still wasn't sure if she was either.

Marie looked at Mia with a raised eyebrow. She wanted to share boys? "Um, I'm a little confused here. You want me to snog the same boys you are snogging?" she asked. "Wait, just how many boys have you snogged?" Marie herself had only snogged two and she had been dating both of them at the time. well except for that last time she snogged Evan, but that was a heat of the moment thing.

Huh, was she saying she wasn't going to be snogging any of these boys now because she liked someone else? "I take it you're not planning on introducing me to that one then?" If that was the case then why did she ask Marie if she liked sharing... unless, the boys had other girls besides Mia they were snogging.

Hmm, Marie didn't know if this was going to be such a good idea. Maybe she would just be better off staying away from boys and actually listen to what Lawson had told her, that she is too young to date and have a boyfriend.

Nah, what fun would that be? Besides, she was older now, she would be 15 in a few weeks.

Mia knew she should have kept her mouth shut about that. But it was better to be honest about these things because in the end it would probably come out anyway. At least Marie would know that she had been there first.

"Snogged." Mia corrected her with a small smile. "Past tense, I am not snogging them anymore." Unless of course she got bored with a certain person but she doubted that was going to happen anytime soon seeing how he made her feel all kinds of squishy inside.

Marie made it sound like she spent all her time snogging. Which she didn't. Not really. "Hmm...four." She answered and decided not to add that it was four this year. But she didn't want to count the dead heads from back home.

Chuckling a little, Mia shook her head. "No I won't be introducing you to him." If she wasn't crushing so badly then she probably would have. After looking at Marie's expression, Mia felt as though she should explain a little more. "I feel as though I best point out that these guys are a lot like me, you know? They're fun and will show you a good time but they're not big into commitment."

Phew, Marie was glad to hear that. At least Mia wasn't wanting her to snog boys she was currently snogging. That would just be... weird. "That's good to know." Because it would just seem wrong to snog someone knowing that your friend was also snogging them. "You've snogged four boys?" And how many boys was she planning on introducing her to? Were these all boys she snogged this term?

"So I only get to meet the boys you aren't snogging now?" she asked when Mia said she wouldn't be introducing her to the boy she has her eye on. Obviously that was one she wasn't willing to share with anyone. Hmm, fun, good times, no commitment. "No commitment, I think that may be just what I need right now." The question was could she pull it off and actually not fall for any of the boys she may end up having some 'fun' with.

"So where we going?"

The way Marie questioned how many boys she had snogged made Mia think that apparently that must be a lot. And she supposed it was. She would probably be even more horrified if she knew that she had snogged three of them before term had even started.

Probably best to keep that to herself though.

"Yes. Four." Mia answered giving the girl a cheeky grin. She certainly didn't feel any guilt about that. "And correct again. Well not all of them. Finlay has got himself a girlfriend now so he's out of the running but I can introduce you to the other two."

Mia gave Marie a sly look, "Being in a committed relationship is so overrated." But then if a certain someone asked her to be in a relationship she would probably drop everything to be with him. "You're going to have a lot of fun Miss Salazar." Yep because Mia was going to make sure of it.

"Let's head outside, shall we? I'm sure we'll find some boys out there."

Hmm, Marie did the math in her head. Four boys, one Mia wouldn't introduce her to, one had a girlfriend, and the other two she would introduce her to. That meant Mia had snogged all of them this term, since you know she was new to this school. Eh, who was she to say anything about how many boys Mia has fun with considering she was planning on having some fun of her own.

"Yeah, I'm beginning to realize that. I've been in two committed relationships and they ended badly." Although now she was friends again with Evan. Miss Salazar? Marie raised an eyebrow at Mia when she called her that. She had flashbacks of Professor Lawson getting angry with her in class. She sure did miss him. Maybe she would have to go visit him over the next break. She was pretty sure her parents would let her. "Well fun is what I am looking for. I'm tired of not having fun this term."

Smiling she followed Mia to head outside. "Yes, let's go." The library could wait.
