They were so nervous and weary of what was going on, heck some of them we're even terrified, but SOME were simply...Well annoying. "But even people your own age can have the most random of conversations." Exhibit A. Staring at pumpkins... Oh.
Trixie had fully seriously gone along with Cameron's joke. The redhead leant back against the pumpkin and frowned. So the lump of orange had won? "Err.. Trixie, you do realise the pumpkin is an inanimate object?" It couldn't win a staring competition because you had to have eyes.. and it didn't even have a face..
But there WERE Jacko Lanterns and -
Why was she trying to justify a pumpkin winning a staring contest? "Because it doesn't have eyes?" She said. Wasn't that the requirement for a STARING competition? You actually had to be able to STARE?
*GIGGLE* Trixie had a point. People your own age had even WEIRDER conversation that the ickle tots did. "You're right. The first years don't think Pumpkins have eyes.." She grinned at the Blonde and flicked some dirt at her. She was still standing. "You mind sitting down? It's really awkward having someone down over you.." And Cam wasn't that tall standing upright anyway..

As he pushed a small pumpkin out of his line of view, Iris raised her eyebrow; half impressed. Even little pumpkins were heavy...
Listening to Noel as he spoke, Iris shifted in her little muddy spot. "I... I like to sit out here and just think..." The girl sighed, "...About my best friend, who left half way through last year." She looked over to Noel, and smiled sadly.
It was ironic, she thought. How Mr. Masterson brought the Pumpkin Patch back the year after Aaron decided to leave. It was practically torture for her.

She watched him for a moment and she could tell that he wasn't too sure of the reading she had done for him. But then again most people were like that.
At his question, Mia gave her head a small nod. "Only when I look in the mirror. Sometimes I can glimpse it out of the corner of my eye." She tilted her head back a little and let the sun play on her face. "It's yellow if you were wondering. Means I am fun loving and very childlike."
In other words.
Very Mia. "Yeah... that would make sense..." Carter said wondering what color he would turn.
"Wow! That is so cool. How long have you been able to do that?" he asked. He wondered if she knew how to do that before finding out she was magical.
It seemed like everyone that he talked to who didn't know they were magic had something happen to him. Something unexplained. He, however, couldn't recall any experiences like that.
