It certainly sounded like her kind of place. Mia had a definite sweet tooth. But she never got have much back at the commune. Sweets were luxuries that they couldn't afford.

Sweet! They sold butterbeer and Mia had enough money left over to be able to buy some. Mmm she could taste that warm buttery flavor right now. "I hope so too. Will you be able to give me the guided tour? I would like to see the whole village if I can." And she would probably try and do it in the one day too.

Mia had to think about that for a moment. "I've never been hurt." She stopped to think about if others had been hurt by her actions. Well there was Noah but he had brought that on himself. "I - I don't know if others have been hurt. I usually tend to gravitate towards guys who share the same thinking as I do." And not one of them have ever said they wanted a relationship with her, so it was all good.

"You're that sweet and sensitive type aren't you? A true romantic at heart. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just not for me right now." Mia shrugged her shoulders and hoped to God that these conversations never came back to bite her in the bum.

Even if Rae didn't want this to end, she knew it was over when Fletcher pulled away. Her heart was definitely beating faster, she controlled her breathing to try and slow it. A small smile appeared as he spoke, "Heh, I didn't either." Which was pretty much true. It seems they both discovered something.

She took a good look at him, man, even all bruised up he was good looking. Rae thought about the first time she made a note to herself that he really was good looking. Oddly enough it was while he was stealing a prefects wallet from Diagon Alley.

Rae tucked her hair behind her ear and looked back at him... "I'm sorry, I didn't ruin this...... Friendship... Did I?" Knowing her luck, she probably did, nice going.

Outwardly grinning now, Fletcher went back to just resting his arm on Rae's shoulder. "Want to get out of the cold?" he asked, already starting to lead them away from the pumpkin patch. Not that that kiss hadn't warmed him up or anything...... but a frigid wind was starting to whistle by.

"No no of course not," he soothed, patting the back of her head. "Oddly enough, this isn't the first time.... something like this has happened with a girl....er, friend....."

And yet he still honestly had not had a real girlfriend. Huhhhhhh.

"Yeah. I would love to do that." Carter said excitedly. "We'll go visit everything. It'll be so much fun. There's a joke shop and a sweet shop. I could easily spend galleons at each shop." he said listing off things. Oh Merlin. He was so excited to go now.

Carter ran a hand through his hair. "Umm... I guess..." he said. He never really thought about it that way. Mostly because it seemed super girly to call him 'sweet and sensitive.' "I guess to me things mean a bit more. Like a kiss isn't just a kiss. It's like sharing a secret. I wouldn't do that with just anyone..."

Wow. That was pretty much the worst analogy ever.

"Does that not make you feel used?" he asked. He would probably feel that way in that situation. You know, if he ever found himself in that position. Then again, if she did, then she probably wouldn't keep doing it.

Cold? Oh right, Rae hadn't seemed to notice. One with what went on with the kiss and all, two because she loved the cold so it didn't bother her. "Oh, yeah sure..." Rae said starting to walk up towards the castle.

Rae knew he had snogged plenty of girls this year, him pointing it out didn't make her feel any better about possibly ruining their friendship. She didn't say anything about it, she had been rude enough for a day... For a month even. Instead she settled with, "Oh, good." Which was her reply to him saying no. She ignored the part about other happenings.

"Heh, I guess you want to hear what the real idea was?" Since that kiss was not particularly the detention worthy plan....

Carter's excitement was infectious and she could feel herself getting excited as well. Hogsmeade sounded like an awesome place to visit. "Thanks Carter. And don't mind all the girly squealing I'll likely be doing. You should have seen my face when I went to Diagon Alley for the first time." She giggled at the memory. Like a kid who had just gotten everything she had wanted for Christmas.

"Have you ever tried it?" Mia asked with a small smile on her face. "Don't knock what you haven't tried Carter." What was that saying? 'Try before you buy?' How else were people supposed to know that they were meant for each other?

Mia's eyes widened a little at Carter's comment. "Wow. You are really trying to make it sound like it's something awful or dirty aren't you?" She leaned back on her hands and studied him for a moment before she responded to his question. "I'm fourteen Carter. In a few months I'll be fifteen and then a year later I'll be sixteen and so on. Time is always moving forward. Never back. I want to enjoy my years as a kid. To have fun and be free." She paused and gave him a smile. "One day I may want to settle down with someone but until that day comes, I don't see the problem in having some fun and making memories that will last a lifetime."

Carter laughed. "No worries. I was excited my first trip to Hogsmeade. Same with my first trip to Diagon Alley." Actually, every trip he was still that excited.

"Well... umm... no..." he said running his hand through his hair.

He listened to her talk and then opened and shut his mouth several times trying to think of what to say. I mean, what could he say? She did have a point. Then again, he had a point too.

"You know what. You're right." he said. Maybe that's exactly what he needed. After all, he'd spent nearly the past half-year barely talking with Marie. The past two years he'd been building up this amazing relationship with her just to have it crumple. Not being in a relationship had to be less dramatic. Maybe she was right. Maybe it wasn't dramatic at all.

"I think I'd like to try that out." he said. "So ermm... how exactly does one go about that...?" he asked.

Mia blinked a couple of times in surprise at Carter's sudden change of heart. That's not what she had been expecting at all. And that is certainly not why she had told him her view on relationships.

He wanted to try it out?

Now?

"Carter..." she began quietly. This was certainly an unexpected turn of events. "You can't just change your mind at the drop of a hat like that. You told me only moments ago that a kiss needs to mean something to you." She sighed deeply and ran a hand through her hair. "I don't think you are the type to run around and kiss girls just for the sake of it."

Mia was tempted to pat him on the shoulder but decided it was best to keep her hands to herself. "I never meant that the way you felt was wrong. I was merely pointing out that not all of us feel the same but it should be okay if we don't."

This was all her fault for mentioning the date thing. They had been having a nice conversation with each other before she decided to open her very big mouth. "And besides that you still have unresolved feelings for your girlfriend. Going around kissing random girls is not going to fix that." She chuckled a little as she looked at him, "I may not have a problem kissing guys that I am not in a relationship with but I don't interfere in other people's relationships. That's one thing I feel very strongly about."

Fee giggled. Yes it had been romantic.
"I am really happy", she smiled.
Ohhh Freya had her eyes on a certain boy?!
"Whats his name? What house is he in? What does he look like?", she laughed,"tell me everthing!!"

"Right, i mean we are 2 of 3 out of 'The Fab Three'", Fee giggled.
"You can always count on me no matter what", she said," and i am glad to know you'll be there for me when i need you."
In the muggle world?!*giggle* Didnt muggles spend a looooot of time with their friends? YAY!
"Like besties all over the world", she smiled.

Carter turned a shade of red. "Um... I wasn't exactly suggesting that I go out and snog everyone I know..." he said. "I was more referring to having fun and not worrying about relationships..."

He really didn't see himself as someone who would 'run around and kiss girls just for the sake of it' as she put it. But having a good time and dating lots of people... he would be able to do that.

He then turned an even deeper shade of red. She just said she wasn't one to interfere in people's relationships. MERLIN! Not only had he unintentionally asked her on a date this conversation, but he might have very well asked her to snog.

"Sounds fun. BBQ's? Never been to one. Heard of them though. they sound fun though. Really fun." She said smiling.

" "What, I thought we were a "Glitter Four" now" Rex told Fee. "Yes, this is what best freinds are for, always be there for each other" Rex said to Fee. " Yes besties all over the world" Rex agreed with Fee.

"So good, the BBQ's are full of a lot of food" Rex told Anna. " Now what about riding those horses?" Rex asked Anna. "We could take in an American foootball game, too" Rex smiled.

"Glitter Four of course, too", Fee laughed,"i just like to use both."
She liked the names and the feeling of belonging to a group.
"True,so if there is something on your mind and you need someone, call my name", she smiled.
"All besties all over the world should meet up",she smiled," i know its impossible but i like the idea of it."

"Well, that is ok with me. "Fab Three" or "Glitter Four" Rex agreed with Fee. "Well, you know I will always call you" Rex told Fee. "Well, we could have a besties only party" Rex laughed.

Selena nodded. "Yeah, all stuck up and everything," she sighed. "Just out of curiosity, are you a pureblood as well?" Selena asked. Not because she was prejudiced, just curious. Not much who weren't pureblood was in Slytherin. She nodded. "I hate being at home, this place is loads better," Selena muttered.

Jen wandered around the pumpkin patch, looking for someone to talk to.

Katie sat down on a punpkin and looked around, she was bored and she wanted to meet up with Edmond and Adam and also Fee, she wanted to tell them the good news, then Katie noticed a girl that looked older then her, she looked like her forth year, and she was in Ravenclaw, maybe she knew where Adam was? "Hello" Katie said.

Oh sweet Merlin!!

Somehow the two of them were reading too much into what the other was saying and everything was getting twisted so much so that Mia couldn't quite remember how this conversation had started.

And now the poor boy was embarrassed and she had not wanted to do that to him. Mia groaned softly and flopped back onto the grass. "I am so sorry Carter. It seems we are confusing each other here."

Perhaps they should start a different conversation one that didn't involve dating, kissing or anything romantic whatsoever. Slowly sitting back up, Mia looked up at Carter. "Did you know that I can see auras?" Not something she usually liked to announce but this conversation needed turning around.

Shae saighed fantastic she muttered before she raised an eyebrow, "as far as I know, yes I'm pureblood. Why?" she asked. She hoped she wasn't about to be judged, she had gotten judged before ... not fantastic. She kept her mouth shut when Selena said something about hating being at home. at least you have a home, and don't have to stay in the Leaky Cauldron when you're not here

Jen looked around to see who had spoken to her and found a girl that looked to be the size of a first year. She smiled politely at her. "hey there, I'm Jen, what's your name?"

"I'm Katie Star, I see you are in Ravenclaw, I was wondering if you have seen a boy named Adam around?" Katie asked as she looked around for any sign of him.

Jen raised an eyebrow. "Winchester? Yeah, he's around. How do you know him?"

"Yes him, we met at the tree house" and he flirted with me, Katie giggled not saying the last word, wait, her name was Jen? Adam mentioned her, "He told me about you" Katie added.

"Cool...." Fletcher nodded and headed up toward the castle. His plan once he got inside? A nice big mug of hot chocolate with a thick dollop of whipped cream on top. Mmm yeah. And maybe a chocolate scone or two or seven too.

He turned and grinned at her. DUH he wanted to hear the real idea! "Go for it. I could always use more trouble." Heheh. He did still have his plan for Myrtle to execute, after all.....

Carter smiled. "No worries..." he said slowly changing back to his normal color. They just had a really bad case of misunderstandings. So they were both embarrassed for a little bit. That wasn't too bad.

Plus, Carter often did things to embarrass himself. So it wasn't like it was something that rarely happened. He was used to it.

"Oh really?" he asked plopping down next to her. He was glad for a change of topic. "Can you see mine?" he asked.
