Adeline felt like exploring, so she walked outside. In the crowd of people she saw someone she knew and said "Hey Adddaaaammmm" as she sat down next to him.

"Hey,"He said getting up to hug her."Have you been around here, it's so nice and beautiful back here..."He told her his opionion . She had greeted him so loudly she had pulled him out of his boring day dream."How have you been?"

"Nopezzzz" she said, exagerationing the z, why? Because thats what she did.
"Goodzzz": she said with the z again. This may be annoying, but its better then her talking in Itailan.
"Want me to speak in Itailan instead of adding z's, cause I am just ridiculusly bored" she said wiping hair out of her face.

"Yeah to be perfectly honest the Z's are a bit annyoning really.So I'd rather struggle with the Italian accent that hearing a gazillion Z's..."Adam told her."Something must have happened it's almost been a week now we haven't seen each other..."

"Nevermind" she said, smaking her lips together, then she hid her face in her hands "Sorry" she said, doing no annoying sound effects. She giggled and said. "Hogwarts is a huge place" she said staring at him blankly.

"Why , why are you staring at me like that?Do I have a pimple or something..."He started moving his hand all over his face making sure if he felt any bumps on his face..."What's wrong?"he said after checking his face.

"No, nothing nevermind" she said shaking herhead. She just thought she heard a song that she danced to when she was a little kid.

"Obviously, something is bothering you, or else you wouldn't be acting like this."Adam told her strongly. He held her shoulders, but remembered that she might have a thing for him, so let go right away. "Tell me, you know you can tell me."He begged

"Nothing's wrong!" she shouted, when nothings wrong, nothings wrong.

Adam took a step or two back. He'd never seen her react to anyone, to him like that before-now it was even more obvious."Ok...But in my house screaming means that something IS wrong...Why can't you trust me- if you tell me I won't tell anyone at all..."He patted her head, very gently though, she might bark or attack him again....

"Just shut up" she said softly, giving him a little push with a giggle. "Nothings wrong, kay, so you may wanna calm down" she said with a mean look on her face. She wasn't slytherin for no reason.

"I...ok."Adam simply said.He took one last look at Adeline before turning his back on her and slowly walking away. He didn't want to chat with someone who was screaming in his face. That wouldn't be a fun chat at all because Adam would be trying to pry something out of her that she didn't want to tell him.

"Adam wait!" she cried squezing him as tight as she could and then said sincerly "I sorry for snapping and being a meanine bobini but" then she grabbed his hand tightly and tilted her head back and said "Pleeeeaaaasssseeeee forgive meeee!"

"Will you not shout at me again?!" Adam asked thinking reverse pychology. He felt her strong grip on his hand and whinced."I never knew how strong you really were.Ouch...Why should I forgive you?"He asked a little harshly."Give me one reason why...?"

"Pleeeaaaaasssssssseee! I'm sure you snapped at some one before. " she said with a shaky smile hopping for an apology.

"As far as I can remember, no. But I'll forgive you because you are my friend and I can't avoid you forever,seeing as you LIKE me and NEED me."Adam laughed.

"Cool" addy said cluelessly then gigled. "I'll race you to the lake, I'm pretty hot!"

"Well moaning isn't a very good comeback to be quite honest with you." Jack folded his arms and sighed. Also, he did tend to complain and moan at Callie all the time, so she was probably used to it, therefore expecting it. What good was surprising someone if they knew what was coming? But anyway, surely Callie knew that he was going to say her full name if she had just said it. "You didn't have to start it in the first place, and therefore I wouldn't have to retaliate would I?" Jack closed his eyes, feeling the cold stone on the back of his head. Bloody hell it was cold.

He raised his eyebrow and smirked at her. Yes, probably a reaction she wasn't expecting, but it was quite amusing that she would compare this to the two of them being married. Now who was overreacting? "Darling I'm sure you wanted to say that we were married what with all the love and jealousy burning up inside you, but still, hurting peoples feelings aren't a brilliant way to solve it." Jack knew she was lying; Rhea had said so many things that they'd be here forever! "You're lying aren't you?" He asked quietly, hoping she wouldn't erupt like a volcano. "Look, obviously you didn't think it was that big a deal, so I'll let you off this time. But, can you please just act civil with her?"

Callie shut her eyes and sighed. Jack was sooo. sooo so difficult. He always had a comeback, yeah so did she but it wasn't as annoying when she did it because she didnt have to think of more comebacks cus they were like her comebacks. If that made any sense, it made sense it Callie's head. "Slapping someone's not a very good comeback either but I still do it." Okay that Comeback was la-uh-ame. She opened her eyes again looking up at her bestie and shaking her head. "You didn't have to date Rhea did you ? Then I wouldn't of had to start anything." Her comebacks were improving...slightly. meh.

California frowned as the older boy smirked. He had nothing to be smirking at cus she was angreh at him. To a certain content because she couldn't stay mad at him for too long it was just an impossible task. Pft. He was so full of himself. "Yeah. I was dying to say that we were married. No luv, I'd of rather said I was married to that Fletcher person." so she wouldn't of said she was married to anyone incase some hot boy overheard and she'd only met Fletcher for like 10 minutes but yeah she was hoping Jack was gonna get all jealous. Lying ? She wasn't lying! She was telling him truths with little twists. "I AM NOT LYING! If you wanna believe your stupid girlfriend then you do that!" meh. Stupid Rhea brainwashing Jack. "I dont think it was a big deal because it wasn't a big deal! So I told her the truth with missing details she didnt ask if I was joking or not." His next comment made her laugh. "Hahahahaah. Civil ? hahahaha. Civil with Rhea ? Hahahahahahahahhaha. No." she said ending her statement with a very serious look on her face.

When Evan started smirking, Iris rolled her eyes, and picked at the grass; leaving Evan to his thinking.

Iris smiled back to Evan's encouraging smile. He was alright, really. They just got off on the wrong footing. Really wrong footing. Because Evan was a nice guy, really. After all, two years ago, Iris would have laughed at the thought of him sitting with her in the grass, telling her to be more proud of the Prefect-ness. But then again, she'd have laughed at the idea of HER being Prefect two years ago, too.

Just wondering, was he? Iris rose her eyebrow, with half a smirk. She SO didn't believe him. Teehee. "Ah... Okay..." Why did Iris suddenly have the idea that Evan was going to use this against her at some point? Meh... She was going back to her old ways of thinking.

Evan wouldn't do that.

As the boy seemed to look at her a bit oddly at her wordings, Iris looked away from Evan slightly. He was probably wondering why she wasn't completely sure of this whole Aaron thing... but Iris didn't really care. She didn't want to talk about it, much, but she didn't care. It was Aaron's choice to stay in New York, so she accepted that. Staying close to his family after losing his Grandad was the best thing for him to do... comfort and all. Iris sighed again.

She half laughed at Evan's response, "That was what I said, too... When he told me about what was happening." 'Oh...' What else COULD you say though? Really?

Awesome! The offer of the football game was still there. The Prefect grinned a little bit more at Evans words. "Wicked. Me, you... A few other friends. Make a proper game out of it?" It sounded like a pretty good plan to her. Iris rolled her eyes at the Chelsea fan's oh-so-confident grin. "Don't go thinking YOU'LL win, though." She added, sticking her tongue out for good measure.

Jack raised his eyebrow, slapping people? He always had a funny feeling that Callie would be a good slapper, and he didn’t exactly fear that he would get slapped by her, or by any girl for that matter, but he did know one or two girls who, if they did just that, he would have a red hand mark on his face for quite a long time. GRRRR, she was being incredibly rude. Yes, if he had seen the future he wouldn’t have believed that he was dating someone either, but times change, and if Rhea was willing to give this relationship business a go, and so was he. “Love, if you are my best friend, and I see you as a best friend...” If guys have besties. “... then can’t you just be supportive and not be horrible? If you decide to date someone I’ll be supportive.” Only just, of course.

“Well darling that isn’t exactly an insult.” Jack had heard a few people say that he and that Fletcher guy looked like each other. So, Callie saying that she’d rather marry Fletcher than him was pretty much saying that she wouldn’t mind marrying Jack. He stood up now, annoyed at how Callie wouldn’t budge, and to be quite honest, Jack didn’t think that she would have had a more positive reaction if she wasn’t in a bad mood, so he would lose in all situations. “For God’s sake Callie! It’s not all about you!” Jack had never really shouted before, but he didn’t understand why she couldn’t just say ‘Well I’m happy for you, good luck with it.’ She didn’t have to mean it, as long as it was believable.

Callie was angry. She didn't like being angry, no that was a lie. She loved being angry because then she argued with people which was equally as fun but she'd never had a best friend before because she moved around alot so it was more of 'it doesnt matter who i argue with and dont like because ill be moving in less than a year' sorta thing. Here was different. She was here for the next four years so once she made enemies she had to deal with their friends too, and Jack was her new best friend which felt nice to say so she was pretty bummed out about being angry at him. She stood up because he was already taller than she was so sitting on the floor just made him look like a giant. "Aww. Course im your best friend." That was nice of him to say. "...I promise you that if Rhea's....nice to me then ill....be...supportive...I ...suppose. But I draw the line at you dating that Cosette girl shes just mean."

So she'd been told to not make promises she couldn't keep but Jack was obviously angry so yeah she'd better try make an effort.

Why wasn't that an insult ? It was meant to be an insult and then Jack was meant to get all jealous and all stuffs but then he had a girlfriend so she should prolly be the jealous one in the situation. Oh, yeah. Fletcher probably wasn't the best choice seen as he looked sorta a little bit like Jack did. She really needed to think about things before she said them especially in attempt to make Jack jelaous. And then he shouted....He'd never shouted at her before, not that they'd known each other for long but yeah it'd be like a month or something and he'd never shouted at her. Til now obvs. She sunk back down to the floor simply looking up at him and blinking. Well she didn't know what to say. "yeah....um...right." That was a lame answer.

Iris wasn't very fond of his smirk, was she? He grinned even wider when she started picking at the grass. No matter how good friends they were, he just wouldn't stop annoying her. It was too much of fun to leave, and he knew she enjoyed annoying him too. It added a different dimension to their friendship, didn't it?

And right now he had to think of another annoying thing to say for her prefectness. It was a great thing, he wished he was one, but now that she could never reply to his nasty comments... it'd actually be quite fun. Tehee. He had to think of something nice, though, 'cause hehad a feeling she'd tolerate it only for once.

He shrugged. "What else can you say?" Other than getting dirty? And really, he understood her. He said only 'Oh' too when Mina announced she was leaving. He hated people that left like that, but there was nothing he could do about it. Their life, their choice.

His grin widened, as if such a thing could happen. "Sure, with us winning." That team would have him for once, of course they were bound to win. Rolling his eyes at her tongue, he said "It's not like you have any chance, Iris. Admit it." He was cooler and better. She had to accept that.

As Callie’s tone softened, so did Jack’s, more abruptly, because he never acted like that, especially not in front of a young lady, or his best friend for that matter. No, it was because he had been extremely angry. But when Callie spoke quietly and seemed to hang her head in shame, or if she didn’t she might as well have considering she looked like he had just verbally abused her or something. Thankfully, she stood up so she didn’t look so small, which made Jack feel a little bit better about himself right now, as he felt like the tiniest person in the world. And it was even worse when she pathetically replied to his raging insult to her.

UUGH. Why did girls have to get to you like that?

And suddenly, Jack brought Callie into his arms, not caring if she wished to squirm and get away from his embrace. He loved her too much to let go of her. “Oh darling will you?” He was glad that he finally got through to her though, about how he was struggling with this whole relationship thing also, and that all he needed was a little bit of support. “You know, this is weird for me too. I mean, I have a ... you know.” Callie had said the word girlfriend loads during this heated discussion, but he never liked to mention it.

At this point, Jack pulled away, gently of course, as he didn’t want to start another argument. “Cosette?” Jack let out a chuckle. It was quite a surprise that she had said that. Date Cosette? “I highly doubt that Cosette feels that way about me,” To be honest, Jack thought that Cosette was a bit of a commitment-phobe like he was, yet he was trying the whole dating thing with Rhea. “I never think about dating people anyway, so you’re in luck.” Rhea was just a bit of a surprise to him really. Jack slid back down to the ground with Callie, his arm still around her shoulders.

"Sorry I shouted and stuff."

Iris also shrugged. "Oh, I dunno..." She looked at Evan and smiled shyly at him, then fell backwards, so that she was lay down on the grass. There was lots of pretty clouds today. Good for cloud watching.

Evan had a good point there. Glancing up at him from her spot on the ground, Iris laughed. "Oh no, no, no." Teehee, "Me and some of my friends, against You and some of your friends." She rolled her eyes whilst laughing at his next words. Ah, Evan's funny.

"Admit what? We both know you're lying there. I have a perfectly brilliant chance of beating you." Hehehe. Iris grinned up at Evan, and then focused her attention back to the clouds.

Which then in turn made her feel a little sad. Last time she watched the clouds in Hogwarts was last year with Aaron.
