Evan tried to look hurt, but his face broke into a grin after seeing hers. "You are mean, y'know that?" he stated through narrowed eyes, and then shrugged. Although he didn't want to admit it, they were flirting. That was a huge progress in their relationship. Maybe they were growing up... or maybe they simply realised it was no use to argue. Whatever the reason was, he liked it.

Rolling his eyes at her blushing, he said impatienly "Still, you deserved it." The end of discussion. He couldn't help but wonder why Fallon wasn't back, though. Not in the US again, was she? It was too curious for Iris not to know. Weren't best friends supposed to tell everything to each other? Or what if... what if something happened to her? Aww... he hated to think so, and just tried to shake off the thought. Maybe she moved to the US permanently, so she decided to cut off all her relationships. Yeah, must be so. This was also a sad thought, but definitely better than something happening to her.

Then something mischievous occured to him. With a sparkle in his eyes, he asked "Now that you're a Prefect, you gotta act more responsibly, and say, nicely to everyone, right?" He tried to sound innocent. He was just curious, that's all.

Apparently, the USA was trendy nowadays, everyone seemed to go there for a year or two. "Why did he move to New York?" he asked. Then listening to what she had to say, stayed silent for a few seconds to think the Alex Hound name. Nope, he didn't know him, and considering the comments she made, he didn't want to.

"What do you mean 'took the place'? Is he a relative of Aaron?" Eh, he wouldn't have expected any less than a relative of Aaron. Of course he would be arrogant. She should have known that.

He shrugged. "Just wondered. You rarely hang out seperately, so I noticed his absence."

Iris rolled her eyes and giggled. "Oh, I know. I'd be a Ravenclaw if I wasn't mean." Teehee. The Prefect looked at Evan and smiled. Being like this with the Chelsea Fan was faaar nicer than argueing with him all the time.

As he spoke, Iris was still looking down at the grass, so she never saw his eye-roll. Looking up at him through her fringe (Bangs... whatever) and smiled sheepishly, "Well... Thanks, Evan." It was really nice of him, really... To think and say that she deserved her badge. Iris sighed, half sadly. She wanted to know where abouts Fallon was. She doubted that she'd hear back from her, though.

"Um... Well, in some senses... Yes." Iris eyed Evan suspisiously. "Why do you ask?" And why doesn't she trust that little sparkle that'd made it's way into the guy's eyes. He was planning something. Iris KNEW it.

Iris shrugged. "Dunno. I think his parents just wanted to stay there... He never came back last term after going out there for his Grandad's funeral." Evan was probably going to find that odd, Iris not knowing the exact reason as to why her 'Boyfriend' was currently Stateside.

Laughing softly as Evan asked this, Iris shook her head. "He's Aaron's friend from New York, apparently. They've swapped lives for the year. Like those Exchange Student things that Muggles do." Iris didn't want to talk about it though. It wasn't going to make everything how it should.

"Oh..." She didn't hang out with Aaron THAT much did she? For people to notice he wasn't here because Iris was on her own? Wow. "Um... Oh, okay."

She sat there for a while, just thinking about the last thing Evan said.

But then she grinned when she remembered something. "Y'know last year? When I offered you that football game? We've still not had it." Iris raised her eyebrow, with a challenging look on her face. They SO needed to have that game. Maybe get a couple of other friends to join in, too.

Evan looked deep in thought after what Iris said about being a Ravvie. Imagining him being a Ravvie, his lips formed a small smirk. Yeah, with this amount of knowledge and arrogancy, she'd fit there perfectly too.

He gave her an encouraging smile. She should be more confident of herself, really. She was hardworking enough to become a nice prefect. He shared her sigh about Fallon. He really wondered what happened to her.

Teehee. So she could never reply back if someone was mean to her. It was good to know. Shrugging casually, he said "Just wondered." Sure, what was guilty about wondering a prefect's responsibilities? She suspected him too much.

Evan inclined his head slightly to the side. What did Iris know? Or, what kind of a boyfriend wouldn't tell his girlfriend where he was going? He didn't press it any further though, he knew well that no one would like talking about their lovers when they left. He didn't like it, for one, and hated everyone momentarily when they brought up Mina.

"Oh..." he said as he processed the information. Pfft. What use was it to exchange schools? If he wanted to come, he could have. There was enough place for everyone. Now he wanted to meet this guy...

Looking at her grin, trying to figure out what it was for, he grinned too after her question. "Yeah, I remember. Any time you want." He smiled confidentally, matching her challenging look. She really did not think she could beat him, did she?

Callie was bored. She had no idea what she was doing my the front gate but she decided to sit on the floor for a bit while she was here. She'd been wandering around all day for no apparent reason and then there were lessons and all gross stuffs like that. Yeah she didn't really wanna sit on the floor but there was no benchs or stuff round here that she could be bothered to notice anyway so the floor would have to do. She sat down and sighed. She was boreeed.

Jack wasn't sure how he would say it.

No. No it won't.

Well, he had to get it over and done with, and Callie looked like she could do with some company. Even if the company was going to tell her something she wouldn't have ever expected, something that even he wouldn't have ever expected. But you figure that's what made Jack unpredictable. He said he couldn't commit or be tied down and here is, in a relationship; trying his best to commit.

Jack smiled at Callie as she saw her, a genuine smile, something he had been doing a lot more since being around Rhea, she did that to him. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and made a bee line towards her, before sliding against the wall to the ground next to her. "Hey love. Whatchu doin' all by yourself?"

Grass smelt weird.

Callie pulled out a strand off grass and put it up by her nose and sniffed it. Yes Grass certainly smelt weird. She giggled realising she probably looked liek she had a mostache or something funny like that and then she dropped her the strand of grass and watched it float gracefully down to the ground where it lay with all its grassy friends. Giggling. She looked up at the sky before looking around a bit more, she was liak boreeeeeed.

Just as she thinking about being bored and having no one to talk to she saw her new bestie. She smiled at him but decided not to get up because unless he'd arranged to meet someone else here he'd come over and if he didn't come over then she'd got over she'd wait and see if he came over first though because she was too tired to get up. And just as she'd expected he did come over. "Hey. Not much just seeing what grass smells like." she answered truthfully.

Jack chuckled at Callie's fascination with the grass that made her look like she had a green moustache. Now who was the green one? Haha; linking back to their last conversations were fun. Running a hand through his hair, Jack contemplated whether or not telling Callie now. She didn't look like she was in a bad mood or anything, which was a nice plus for him, and it made it a lot easier.

"I see." Jack wasn't sure if that was really the maximum of excitement Callie could get to; smelling grass. "Whatever floats your boat, darling." He smiled. And then thought about the topic he wanted to bring up again. Hmm, was now the best time? Yes, get it out of the way, nice clean sweep of the subject so that they didn't have to talk about it this indepth again. "I need to ... ummm .. Did you tell Rhea Bellaire that I was in love with you?" He rested his hands on his knees, trying to not look too angry. He wasn't really, who wouldn't want to tell people that he loved them? Surely it would make any girl feel better about themselves.

Callie ignored Jack for a few minutes pretending a peice of grass was that evil firstie Courtney and wripping it up. Meh. She was soo meeean. That made Callie seem agressive which she wasn't really but Courtney was meeean mean mean. "Im not a mudblood. Im not!" She was muggleborn there was a difference. Jack was gonna probably think she was off her trolley now but yeah she wasn't bothered. She frowned at the ground, letting out a small sigh.

Callie rolled her eyes. She'd never understood all these English saying and whatnot so she didn't reply to Jack comment about her rocking boat. She just shrugged still not being able to get Courtney and her evil comments about Callie's blood status out of her head. She was so Maddddd. Gr. But it wasn't really fair to take it out on Jack he hadn't done anything to hurt her. She looked up and Jack letting out a sigh she smiled faintly. Onto the Rhea subject, ugh. Here came the 'ya da ya da ya da ya da' she wasn't in the mood for. "Well seen as you probably already know the answer or you wouldn't know if she hadn't grassed me up. No comment and before you blow up at me. You DID say that!"

Jack’s mind completely forgot about Rhea and the news as Callie began to talk to grass. Grass! It wasn’t even one of those plants that were alive! It just lazily swayed in the autumn wind. So talking to it would be out of order and rather deviant. Even though Callie replied to him in a rather vicious manner, which angered Jack, he soon ignored it and took the grass from her. Just in case she got hurt by it or something from aggravating it. “Okay. Okay.” He put the shredded grass blade down carefully and wrapped his arm around her.

Please don’t be insane. Please don’t be insane.

“What is going on darling?” Jack asked, sounding a little worried. She was his best friend at all, and he didn’t like to see her go crazy right in front of him. How cruel would he be to let her? “And umm .. the grass didn’t call you a mudblood..”

Callie would not be upset by this. She wouldnt. If she was that meant Courtney had won and she was not letting that blonde barbie doll rejected, meanie evil short mean firstie win. PSHT. She would looose. Even if Callie wasn't sure what the two of them were 'fighting' over. Meh. She shrugged her shoulders before looking to Jack. And he was another reason she wouldn't get upset by this, because it wasn't fair to take it all out on him it was Courtney's fault she was upset Jack had nothing to do with it. Unless he'd paid Courtney to say mean things to her. Nahh he wouldn't do that. And a third reason just to conclude her list, California Parker didn't cry. She smiled as he wrapped his arms around her, she wrapped her arms around him aswell and sighed.

Courtney flippin' Parker. I hate that stupid last name stealing meanie." she frowned. Meh. She knew the grass didn't cal her a mudblood cus that would be silly. "I know. Courtney did." gr. "Anyway why does it matter if I Did tell Rhea you were in love with me ?"

Callie seemed to welcome the hug, something which Jack was pleased about. Also thankful and grateful that she didn’t get even angrier and bite his head off; now that would have been scary. Jack was actually about to say that Callie and this Courtney lady had the same last name, but Callie already sussed that out obviously, she probably knew her name pretty well to stop it in other people’s names. Haha. Jack brought her closer to him, hoping she was warm, because it was pretty cold now, colder than when she was that ridiculous giraffe vest, resulting in him giving her his favourite jacket.

“She called you a mudblood? But you’re not even muggleborn. And even if you are she shouldn’t have called you that.” UGH, Jack hated the word; his parents used it. Ah, now she wanted to go back to the topic which he had thought he had done well to suppress. Never mind. “Well...” Ease it out slowly, boy. “I just ... don’t think it’s ... a good idea to ... tellmygirlfriendthatI’minlovewithsomeone.” He said rather quickly and quietly. It wasn't like Jack was in love with Rhea or anything, no. Also, he hadn’t been dating Rhea when Callie had said this, but knowing that Rhea liked Jack, it still wasn’t a nice thing for Callie to say. He also had trouble saying the word 'girlfriend'. He couldn't believe he actually said it.

Callie cuddled Jack he wasn't as warm today. Well She had got his jacket, not on so she wasn't as warm either but she'd decided to take his advice and wear more suitable clothes for this weather so she was wearing a long sleeved top instead of a vest top. She was pretty upset about the whole Courtney thing but yeah Jack seemed to be good at making her feel better. Well he was her bestie so yeah we're that what besties were for ? Shrug. She looked up at him letting off a faint smile. Before looking back down at the grass, MEH Courtneyyyyy. Gr. Sigh. She had to remember not to take it out of Jack.

"Yeah she did...Shows how much you know about me..." she couldn't really blame him she hadn't told him she was a muggleborn but yeah it hadn't really come up in any of their conversations or anything. If she had to pick her all time least favourite word she'd pick mudblood MEH she hated that word...And Jack was making her feel a lot better until THAT slipped out of his mouth. She let go of him and shuffled quite far to the side, staring at him as she did so. "Well I dont think its a good idea to...." she began mimicking Jack, still staring at him. "totellmeyourdatingagirlIreallydislikeEspeciallywh eniminabadmood." Meh. Now she wasn't feeling as 'better' as she was before.

She was biting back now, and Jack didn’t like it. What happened to the fun, and rather conceited Callie that he had become pretty much best friends with? Yes, having a best friend was a bit girly, but when your best friend was a girl, it didn’t really matter. But what did matter was that your best friend was acting strange and off with you. Of course, Callie did have a reason to be upset; someone had called her a flippin’ mudblood! But it wasn’t him was it? “Well you never told me! And I’m not exactly going to ask you what your heritage is because it shouldn’t matter...” Jack trailed off. He was right, of course was right.

UGH. He had hoped he would avoid this. And even though Rhea hadn’t actually said that she disliked Callie, from what Rhea told him about Callie, Callie definitely disliked Rhea, so he wasn’t surprised when she imitated him rather rudely. “Callie,” He started, going on a first name basis, rather than a pet name. “You did ask, so I wasn’t exactly going to lie was I? And anyway, why don’t you like her? She’s nice, I mean, that’s obvious because I’m ...” Hesitation. “... dating her and stuff.” Jack also didn't like that she slid away from him slightly. It wasn't like he was infected now that he was ... dating someone! So, he slid closer to her again.

Stupid little firstie calling her mean names and suckish insults and SHORT. California was a lot of things but she was not short. She may not've been tall but she wasn't short. And even if she was short what was wrong with short people ? They were JUST the same as tall people only...shorter. And then stupid Jack going out with Stupid Rhea meh. Was it be a very stupid person towards Callie day today or something ? She was being a little overreactive with the whole Jack and Rhea thing, like it could be worse he could be dating that French chick Cosette, Rhea HAD said she had a pretty top and she was nice to her until the whole Jack thing started, which admittedly was mainly Callie's fault. She'd be more ticked off if Jack dated That Cosette girl she was just meaness hiding in a blonde's body. She couldn't stop a small smile appearing on Jack's face as he said it didn't matter what blood status someone was but no she wasn't gonna hug him because she was being mad at him.

She looked at the grass frowning at it. Meh. She didn't like frowns they made her look all less pretty, course she still looked pretty just not as pretty as usual because Callie, no matter how hard she treid couldn't do anything without being pretty. "Jack....son" she said plainly because immitating him seemed to be a good thing right now and she was feeling a leeeetttle bit negative towards him right now although it wasn't his fault. "You could've said Rhea was upset by it. She was mean to me. End of. Yeah shes nice to you how about me ? Bet she didn't mention what she said to me when she grassed me up, hmmm ?" She already knew the answer was no but yeah it couuuld be yeeah because Rhea hadn't said anything that mean really.

Jack gasped rather loudly and a bit dramatically, before standing up and pointing at her. OK, there was no need for it, but no one had EVER called him by his first name once. Apart from his parents now and again but that was only when he was being scolded for doing something silly like, setting the living room furniture on fire. He had actually done that; he had pyromania for about a year during his childhood. Please don’t ask. “How DARE you call me that!” His brows drew together as he stopped pointing at her and folded his arms. “...California.” Jack dragged the name a long, smirking as he did so. If she wasn’t going to be nice, he was going to bite back.

“No, she didn’t mention that she was mean to you.” Jack’s voice dyed down, his arms unfolding. He wasn’t going to get the approval of Callie so he can date girls. Yes, it was better when Callie actually liked his ... Rhea (That’s what he was going to call her now instead of the G-word, his Rhea), but really? Did he have to run it by her all the time? GUH. “Ohhh loooove.” Jack slid back down beside her, not really liking getting angry. He crossed his legs at his ankles. “C’mon then, what did she say that was mean?”

A huuuuuge, and I mean biiiiiiig smirk plastered itself across Callie's face. She was feeling rather pleased with herself at her comeback BWAHA. He'd not expected THAT one. Or maybe he had they did know each other preeeettty well so yeah he might've expected it. Trouble was she was having a leettleeee bit of trouble thinking of any more combacks now, they usually just Sprung to her but now...nothing. Meh maybe one would come when the time was right. "Pretty easily. Im a pretty daring person." she ended with a nod. The smirk flew off her face, in all possibilities and she frowned her bestie. "If your trying to earn my best friend-eyness back your going the wrong way about it." Oh yes he was. meh.

"Yeah. Everyone leaves out the parts about themselves. Well so am I seen as Rhea already told you what I did." Just like Rhea to leave out what she did wrong when telling her beloved Jack on her. She made that sound like they new each other really well, which in all truthness they really didn't. She looked at Jack leaning her head on his knee as he crossed his legs and looked up at him. "I Think Rhea's your love dont'cha agreee ? She said lotsa mean things likeee. she called me hella strange and and loadsa other things."

Smile. Walking.....still walking....walking somemore.

Okay, Beck was very tired of walking when he had no clue to where he was going. Where are you going Beck? SIGH. Boredom sucks. He is a socal person he always has to talk or flirt either way he was happy with one of the or both of the. SMILE. Ahh he just loved to walk and think but he was thinking to much lately. BORED.

Lauren was sitting out on the grass, normal behaviour in her case, she wasn't going to torture herself by standing and reading. Beside her was a pair of gray low heeled Mary-Janes to match her cardigan. She had her ankles crossed under her... bum and she was reading with her head held down. Her curly hair flew around her head every now and again in the gentle breeze. She started skipping her page but stopped mid action and looked up. Oh. She smiled softly at the boy remembering him from the Courtyard with Rhea and went back to reading... well tried since she hadn't skipped the page and she was just staring idly.

Beck noticed a girl that was sitting down. Beck looked at her. HE had seen the face before. It was the same girl that had walked up to Rhea. He smiled warmly at her. "Hello." he said to her with his French accent.

She looked up at him and grinned "If I had a penny for every time I heard a French accent." She chuckled "I never did get the chance to introduce mahself did I? I'm Lauren." She extended her hand for him to shake using the other to mark her page. Her grin softened to a smile. "You are?"

Beck smiled sweetly at her. Beck laughed. "It's lovely to meet you Lauren." he said shaking her hand. Beck took a seat next to her on the ground. To bad the ground was slightly cold. Oh well. It wouldn't kill him and it didn't bother him either. "I'm Beck Salvatore."

"Beck Salvatore." She nodded "Is that Italian? I know Salvatore is Italian for saviour. I hope you live up to you name Mr. Salvatore." She grinned and folded her hands in her lap. "What brought you out here?"

Jack glared at Callie’s large and pleased smile. Even if he was meant to be cheering up because she, apparently had had a bad day, he was now moody, because she had decided to use his full name, something which no one should use even if they think Jack loves them to the point where they may be allowed. They really shouldn’t risk it. He still felt bad for her of course, poor girl had been called a Mudblood and found at her best and gorgeous friend was dating someone she didn’t particularly like. Bad day for Callie, and hopefully, Jack was here to make her feel better, even if it was without a kiss, unfortunately. “You started it with all this ‘Jackson’ business! I had to retaliate!” Jack’s voice got louder, and quieter at the same time, if possible. He didn’t really like to shout.

Jack nodded. “You told her that I was in love with you, making her upset and stuff.” He remembered her face twisting into anger and sadness at the same time; he’d never been moved by someone else’s emotion before. Jack raised his eyebrow as Callie tried to defend herself, not very well if he might add. He thought that she may have been over the top with what she had said to Rhea, as Rhea had only called her ‘strange’, and that wasn’t exactly extremely offensive. “Loads of other things eh? Go oooon...”

Callie frowned. Why was he glaring ? She was the one that should be glaring at him, HEEEE Was the one who'd got a girlfriend without telling her first okay that was a stupid reason but yeah he'd got a girlfriend she didn't like AND she was in a bad mood so yeah she was certainly the one who should be doing the glaring but she wasn't. He was. Why was he glaring anyways ? She'd only called him Jackson...surely he'd been called Jackson before it. Fair enough him being angry if she'd shouted it but then again she'd been a little angry at him calling her California that was different though, she'd been bullied for being called California. Oh wait. Maybe Jack had been bullied for being called Jackson! So maybe it wasn't so different, not that it was very different anyways because she didn't like being called her full name and neither did he. So it was the exact same. "But you didn't have to carry it on! Retaliate ? You did NOT have to retaliate. You could've just moaned." like he was as well.

California rolled her eyes. "Yes Jack. Im fully aware of what I said but one she didn't ask if I was joking or not, two I think you two are both over reacting a little bit. So I told her a fact with a small missing detail and you lot are acting like I told her we were married." Well that was what she thought. Rhea had like gone and told Jack and now he was moaning about it not to mention dating her. "If I told you everything she'd said to me we'd be here for EVER." she ended with a nod. Not like Rhea had said that much that was mean but she was just trying to make Jack feel sorry for her and not his stupid girlywirlyfriend.

Adam had never been to this part of the outside of the castle. The air was fresh the breeze blew in his hair and face, and the bright blue sky illuminated the scenary of green trees. He sat on the dirt and began plucking out little pieces of grass as students walked by him....
