Strong iron gates prevent students from getting out while making sure anything unwanted stays out. They can only be opened by the Professors and Staff and are always open on Hogsmeade weekends to allow for passage to the village.
An eyebrow arched at the change back in conversation; as Raiden had implied, it was something they were both good at doing. "She wasn't misquoted, someone else...was." No need to get into who or why that was the case. "It's...being sorted though."
His frown wavered as he considered the cloth again. "Kellen, we haven't had much time to talk, and I don't know what you want me to tell you or not tell you." He held up the cloth a little, wondering if he might have to use it soon with the direction of his words. "You've met my mom, so...I'll do my best to answer any questions you might want to know." Slowly, his eyes flicked up to his friend. "But, what about you? I...heard you...some trouble ran into you."
"Well that's good." Kellen regarded Sabel carefully, and eventually suggested, "Why don't you just start from the top and tell me the whole thing? If nothing else, it'll force you to use that handkerchief."
He gave a slightly exasperated sigh at the mention of trouble, his hand absentmindedly playing with the arrowhead of the necklace, "See, this is why I didn't want to tell anyone. It doesn't matter. It's done. Over. Moving on." Thanks for not being about to keep your mouth shut, Raiden.

The frown on his lips deepened a little as he considered his friend, putting aside his issues for the moment. "You can talk to me, you know that right? About anything, no matter how embarrassing or hurtful it is." To pride or otherwise. There was no way he was continuing, or explaining everything, until he knew that Kellen knew.

Kellen gave his friend a slightly exasperated look, "I know. But it's like... it's like digging up what happened to you and a bunch of other people back in fourth year. Why do it? It's been taken care of, and there really isn't a point to going through it again. I don't mean to sound annoyed, just... I don't want to talk about it any more. I want..." His mouth twitched upwards in a joking little smirk, "I want your eyes to stop looking like you're staring at me from under water. It's creepy."

A light laugh sent him rocking back slightly as he chucked the handkerchief at his friend. "Alright you. I get the point. No need to get snippy." Resting his feet back on the ground, he shook his head in mild amusement, his thoughts drifting back to his personal commitment to tell Kellen what had happened. "I understand...just...if you ever do need to talk. Please. You're my best friend."

"Darn right I am." He'd been a little worried that the pint-sized Hufflepuff had taken his spot while he was absent, but apparently it was still his. Good. He caught the handkerchief, spreading it carefully across his palm, "Hey, I talk to you. I do. Remember that whole thing with Neptune? I talked about that, didn't I?" Shortly before engaging in a paint war in the trees. Still, it counted as talking about it, in his books.
"Now. Dry your eyes!" It might as well have been a battle cry, as he shoved himself towards Sabel and pressed the handkerchief against the boy's face.

"Alright so you do. But when you get attacked in the--- GAH!!" Legs kicking up and hands flying out to the side, it was an understatement that he took the other boy's lunge well. Thankfully, hands splayed outwards he was able to catch himself, preventing a complete flop onto his back. "Afrught. Vid do ant ee bo boow?"

"I have no idea what you just said," Kellen informed him. Thankfully he knew Sabel was prone to massive amounts of flailing, or he probably would have been kicked in the chest or stomach. It was only after a good rub to the boy's face that he released the handkerchief and sat back, grinning and ready for possible retaliation, "Would you care to repeat that?"

Shaking his head so that the cloth was no longer covering nearly every sense he hand, he pushed himself back up and let it fall into his hand. "I asked if you wanted me to blow as well." Chuckling softly, he folded the napkin once again on his knee, frowning a little at a small wet spot that used to be a tear. So Kellen's tactic had worked. "So attentive you are."

"I know, right? And yet people think I'm a heartless jerk. I tell you, there's no justice in this world." Kellen looked up at the sky, frowning a little at how dark it was getting. Darker and darker, earlier and earlier. Then he slapped his hands on his thighs and went to get up, "Okay! Let's go back inside. It'll take forever to get back up there and we'll be lucky if you get back to the entrance hall without tripping over something. I want you to tell me everything on the way, and I'm the rational friend right now so you have to do as I say."
That was totally how it worked, right? The rational friend got to demand details from the emotional one? Sure it was!

Sighing, Sabel shook his head a little, folding the napkin once more before tucking it in his pocket. "No sense in arguing with the boss man."
A heavy sigh left him with the effort to push himself to his feet, the mental fatiuge of the day starting to display itself in his muscles. "I'll warn you though, this...may take me a bit to get through." Not because the story was long, but the content was well...he could already feel the pain stabbing through him again.
Sparing a quick glance at his friend he managed a weak smile as he shoved his hands in his pockets and began the journey back to Hogwarts. "Thank you."

Hehe. "Just making sure." She muttered, rolling her eyes at him. Really. The fool REALLY thought that HE'D win that footy match, just because he played better. Pfft. It was like Athena Vs. Ares. Athena would win the war because she's got the battle strategy. Evan would probably disagree with that, though.
She glanced at Evan as he lay down next to her, and scoffed at his words. "Mate, I'm fooling no-one. 'Specially not myself." Ooooh. He'll reply on the pitch, will he. Iris just didn't say anything to that, but smirk. It was a good comeback... And she had nothing to throw back at it that didn't sound childish.
Maybe if she just kept that smirk-like smile on her face, then he'll not notice that she had no come back to his smart words.
Iris shuffled a little, and stared up at the clouds.
Evan raised one eyebrow. Really, Iris wasn't fooling anyone? Then why did she still thought she could win him? Such a thing couldn't even happen in her dreams because simply, even her unconsciousness knew he was better. Still, though, he wasn't going to be drawn into any argument. He liked this peace and wanted to keep it, so he merely shrugged and leaned back. Suddenly, a breeze came that he shivered a little. Checking his watch he turned to her and said "Shall we get inside? It's kinda late and cold." Although he tried to hide it, he clearly shivered now. Mweh. He should have lived in Africa.

Iris sat up and hugged her legs. WHY WAS IT SOOO COLD IN SCOTLAND?!?!
When Evan spoke up, suggesting to go inside, Iris nodded enthusiastically. Or well, at least as enthusiastically as she could whilst being this cold. "Yeah, please... It's freeeezin'." Iris smiled when the boy shivered. It looked funny. Hehe.
She pulled herself up and dusted any mud or grass off of her back, and crossed her arms. Next time, she was bringing gloves in her bag. That way she wouldn't have to go inside. The prefect looked up at the ginormous castle. "Well, C'mon then..."
Everyone ? Of COURSE everyone wasn't out to get her. She was California Parker! Rhea apparently didn't see the importance in that and was sillyily not worshipping her like she should be. Silleh Rhea. She obviously didn't know it was better to be friends with Callie and not an enemy. Well obviously not. "I know. Just Rhea's being a little stupid and trying to get at me." Like Courtney was. The only difference was, Courtney had obviously had practice and knew HOW to get at Callie. Stupid little blondie first girl who'd stole Callie's last nameeee. But anyway back onto Rhea. "No. I mean she knew exactly what she wanted you to do. Before the whole liking her bit." she said pausing to fake vomit when Jack said he liked her. Nothing against Rhea just the fact that Jack had told her he liked someone. Rahter Rhea than Cosette though. "She knew she wanted you to come moan at me which is Why she told us. Cus she wanted you to get super angry so you wouldn't talk to me anymore." Callie really needed to stop twisting things so much.
Callie shook her head. He wasn't meant to want to be a knight in shining armor. "Course it doesnt. Wearin' those dirty, hot, sweaty armor suits All day long. I mean imagine how many people have warn those before, or fought in them or even died in them and then you'd be wearin' 'em. All those horrible germys. And silver's totally not your colour. But if you wanna be a knight and get to have all that everyday you should totally go for it." That was most likely a failed attempt to put Jack off being Rhea's knight in shining armor cus she didn't really know if Jack didn't like germs either or not. She prolly shouldnt of asked about him and Cosette. He might like tell her about them snogging and all and that would just be...ergh. *shudders* "ME ?! JEALOUS ?!" she spat out. "Those two words should never be used in a sentence. Why should I be jealous of you and that blonde girl ?" she said blinking. She had nothing to be jealous of. so she liked to think."But. If I didn't stir anything up then your life would be absouloutly boooringgggg. And no excitement would happen and then you'd end up living in a house with Rhea with 27 children having nothing to ever tell them about cus nothing ever happened in your plain simple life. Hows that sound ?"....not waiting for him to answer...."So yeah you should be greatful you have a bestie as awesome as me." wink.
"How?" Jack asked in disbelief. Callie was acting pretty strange herself, never mind other people acting whiney or complaining to him, Callie seemed to be doing it the most, and this made him smirk; she hadn't realized that she was being very hypocritical. "Which was what darling? Come to you and question you about it? Because there was no question if I was going to do that. Insult my .. 'more than a friend' and I'm expected to, aren't I? I'm being a good 'more than a friend'." And then Jack scowled again, almost growled in fact because of Callie's little fake vomit. She kept going on about how a great best friend she was, but maybe Jack was to question that also? Best friends, even if they hated the person you were more than friends with, they tried the best; Callie wasn't playing the game, she wasn't trying."Well I'm not angry, I'm disappointed. I thought you would be over the petty cat fights, without the claws of course." Jack smirked again, looking at his nails. "If she was trying to make me get rid of you as a friend, then that's silly of her. But, I doubt she would think she could just swoop in and do so. Not very much thought and careful planning in that, is there?"
Jack found it amusing how Callie attempted to try and make 'knight in shining armour' seem like a terrible thing to be, it obviously annoyed her as she has probably expected him to be disgusted by the idea of him being one. But really, a knight is noble, armour is bravery and the sign of a fighter, and shinyness means clean and ... stuff. So really, these were all things that made your ego just that little bit bigger. Jack didn't need that, but he still loved the idea of it; anything to feed his vanity. "Oh love, trying to sell it as horrid? You shouldn't have brought it up. I want to buy metal armour now." He laughed lightly, trying to lighten the mood. It had seemed to get harder the longer he was with her to be honest, and that was never a good sign.
And there she went again; kicking him whilst he was down.
"My life? Boring? THOSE words should not be put into the same sentence." He scowled, beginning to stand up again. "Look, I don't know what's got into you and this whole Cosette stuff. I didn't come over to you to talk about her, at all." He exhaled deeply, and rubbed his forehead. "Me and Rhea are ..." Pause. "... okay? I don't care if you accept it or not, you're not my mother and even if you were I still wouldn't care." Fat lot that his mother could change. "And being a best friend isn't stirring someone else's life up because you're bored, and making your best friend feel like crap, even when he already does! I mean ... this is a big thing for me. I really don't do relationships. And I was just hoping for a little bit of optimism, just from someone." Boy, was he tired. Jack was stood up properly now. Hands balled into fists and his knuckles white. "Hoping it would be you. Obviously not the case."

How ? Okay. Jack was difficult. Most people would just be all like fine fine fine, but yeah Jack was awesome just so Jackish so she should've expected him wanting a explination. "Well. Um. I um I dont know. I just know she does. I know people." Sorta, well not really. Callie was possibly the most unobservant person ever. She was too absorbed in her own importance to even think about other peoples needs and cares, unless they were hot then she gave them a leeettle bit more of her attention. "Yes exactly that. Which you did. Which means your doing as she told you. Which makes you her minion." A word of which she'd borrowed stolen from Oliver seen as he was convinced she was his minion. *eye roll* More than a friend ? "I think you mean girlfriend, dearest." she smirked. She was pretty slow at catching onto things but the amounts of times Jack had edged around saying the word Girlfriend she'd kinda caught on that he didn't like that word. Something like that anyways. "Disappointed ? Oh Jack give over. Stop trying to make me be all happy for you and Rhea because quite frankly I dont like the fact that your going out with her but yeah do whatever. Im just not gonna congratulate you. Y'know dont wanna jinx things." she winked. She had to admit there was a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach, Jack probably was disapointed seen as he hadn't spoke highly of himself in the last ten minutes. So meh.
"And fyi, I dont need careful planning cus im just too cool."
So her attempt to put Jack off being Rhea's knight in shining armour wasn't her best. No, lets rephrase that it was a VEREH bad attempt, prolly her worst attempt ever. She looked down at the grass trying to think of something to say. She should apologise really. Afterall she was the one that had got them into this mess, she was the one who'd told Rhea the truth with missing details, and she was the one who'd make Jack all disapointed in her and stuffs so yeah she Should apologise, but was she going to ? Not a chance. "Oh yes because Rhea will be totally more attracted to you if you're wearing a shining suit. And everyones gonna be falling all over you." she scoffed. Jack was cute she had to admit that but she was pretty sure people would laugh at him if he walked around dressed as a metal man.
"Yeah. Your life boring, And um newsflash they were just put into the same sentence." she smirked shooting him a wink. And now he was standing up. He couldn't stand up because that meant he was gonna walk away which he couldn't do because they were in the middle of an argument and yeah it needed to be finished or Callie wouldn't be right. And Callie was always right, with the ocasional gleams of wrongness. "Got into me ? What about whats got into you ? And I didn't sit here to talk about Cosette either." she frowned, she didn't like this. Usually she loved aruging with people because they always came up with suckish comebacks, like Courtney did but Jack was obviously good at this. "And I didn't say I didn't accept it anyways. So where'd you get that idea from." she stood up standing a few centimetres away from Jack, cus he looked angry and she didn't want him to punch her. That would just ruin the whole prettyness. "I wasn't stirring up your life because I was bored, I was merely doing what I would usually do. And technially when I told Rhea you were in love with me she wasn't your girlfriend." Aww, he felt like crap before all this ? She moved next to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I didn't mean to make you feel crap. I'm....sorry. Not for this whole Rhea business because its not my fault I didn't like her, for making you feel crap." sigh. "And if it REALLY makes you happy.....Congratulations I hope you guys work out." BLEH. "You so owe me. Wanna sit back down now ?" no way was she letting him walk away until they were done with this whole argument thing.

AHA!
She now didn't know what to say, and by default, that meant Jack was winning! "That's not a good enough answer darling." He smirked, feeling accomplished that she was 'umming' and 'aahhing' all over the place. However, the thought of being someone's minion was bit unnerving, considering Callie was talking about being Rhea's minion, the one person he trusted to not to use him as a servant or a minion, which, sounded worse than a servant to be honest. "I am NOT her minion. If I was, she would have ordered me to come to you and be horrible, which I haven't, and I don't think I am being, am I?" He thought this argument was more of a heated discussion if anything. Jack had only shouted once, and he wasn't much of a shouter, so that was good. Jack winced at the 'G' word again; tied down, relationships, labels. "If you want to call her that, then yes." He just had to say it once, to show he wasn't weak in any way. "... girlfriend." Jack was sure Rhea would love to hear him say that, even if she didn't mind, he knew she was pretending, bless her. She was so adorable, and smart, and funny, and pretty .... back to Callie. >.<
Jack folded his arms and sulked again, even if he was standing up this time, he didn't want to sit back down, not if Callie was going to act like this. "I don't care if you don't congratulate us, I can find nice people elsewhere." He pulled his tongue out at her childishly. Nice one Jack. "She may be attracted to it, ya never know." Course, if Jack was wearing a shiny metal suit, Rhea wouldn't be able to get to his 'foofey' hair which she loved so much, so that would be a problem.
"My life is NOT boring California!" And with that, Jack unfolded his arms and began to storm off back into the castle, to find REAL friends who would support him with this new development of relationship business. But when Callie stood up and came after him going on about how she didn't actually say she hadn't accepted it, Jack scoffed. She had JUST said that she didn't like that he was ... with Rhea! How was that not saying so!? But he gasped when she had said it, what he was hoping for since before all of this began.
"ZOMG REALLY?" Jack, with a large grin on his face gave Callie a giant bear hug, lifting her off the ground quite a bit; he loved how he was much taller than her. "Seeeeeee? That wasn't so bad was it? All I wanted you to say was that and now that you have we can stop this silly heated discussion!" He mumbled excitedly, his face buried in her hair. "And I do owe you! Promise!" He set her back down again, glad to have gotten that off of his chest.

He smirked, feeling accomplished that she was 'umming' and 'aahhing' all over the place.

This wasn't gooooddddd. That weird feeling in the bit of her stomach was like a disease, it was like stopping all these comebacks that she knew were in her brain from coming out. Which equalled in Jack winning, NOT GOOOD. "Well, Your not the best at pep talks either." she said sticking her tounge out at him and rolling her eyes. He was so silleh. She rolled her eyes as he smirked. He was meeeant to be apologising and telling her how much better she was than Rhea, That would make her feel better. Yush. "Seems like you are. And she did order you to come be horrible to me. She just did it using nicer vocabulary so it didn't sound like she was telling you to come be horrible to me. C'mon Jack, im slow and even I got that one." she winked. Now it was Callie's turn to smirk, it was clear Jack didn't like the word because he was avoiding it and hesitating before he used it. "Well, I wouldn't call her that if that wasn't what she is. But it is isn't it Jack. Shes you gggggggiiiiirrrrrllllllffrrrrrriiiieeeeeeennnnnddd dd. No kissing ANY other girls, no flirting no nothing. Cus your tied down know mate. Good luck with that." If he was gonna moan when she said mean stuff about Rhea, she could atleast gloat, right ?
Callie giggled. Jack was soo funneh when he sulked. As she'd said before she felt a little bad about being mean to Jack, and then being unsupportive as he put it. She liked to think of it more as being less supportive as she could be. "Nice people ? NICE PEOPLE ? Ill have you know im the best bestie you could EVER Had. AND Im nice. Especially to you. I could be a lot meaner. But if you dont want my bestieness then...fine." although if he agreed to not have her bestieness she'd be sad. "Pft. Knowing her she prolly would." meh.
"Yeah but it would be if I didn't stir it up. Jackson." she said rolling her eyes. Couldn't he just agree ? He was WALKING off. NO NO NO. He couldn't walk off from her she was Callie Parker. NO ONE walked off from her unless she told 'em too of course then it was all okay. "JACKSON RIDING. Dont you DARE walk off from me ?!" she said glaring after him before grabbing his arm. How could he even think about walking off from her ? That was just...mean. And he'd said he wouldn't be mean to her.
She was going to answer his question but then she was lifted. "Um...I suppose, But if I say no will you be angry at me ?" if the answer was no then she was certainly gonna say she wouldn't be happy. "To be quite truthful I'd rather you didn't last but yeah just to make you happy I lied." Not that she didn't lie very often. "Yes it was Very bad actually. I'd have rather us have carried on with our heated conversation as you call it until I won." Shrug. It was truee. "Ewwww. Dont put your snot in my hairrr." she said giggling, clinging onto him. He was cuteee. "Anything I want ?" she said swaying as he put her back down.

Evan looked for something to offer to her, but he didn't have his coat with him to give her, which was the reason he felt this cold. He shouldn't have believed in the fake sun of Scotland, he knew it.
Getting up, he also cleaned his back and walked towards the castle with Iris. He needed some fireplace to warm his freezing body.

Pep talks were never his speciality. If he were to say one, it would end up something like 'Be awesome, like me. Just like me.' And Jack was sure that wouldn't really help whoever he was trying to help; no one could be as awesome as him. Jack grinned at her. "You're being silly now darling." He said quietly, playing with a few blades of a nearby patch of grass, pulling a few out of their roots. "She can be evil in your eyes if you want, but you can't make me think differently I'm afraid." He didn't really want to start an argument, so talking smoothly and without anger was the best way to go. Hey, he could be smooth talking sometimes. Heehe.
Jack gasped. He couldn't BELIEVE that she had just said he was tied down, he wasn't exactly tied down; they had only been dating for a few days, so this was a blow to him. "I am shocked, Miss Parker." Jack frowned playfully, putting a hand on his heart. "I am not 'tied down', and I can handle not kissing or flirting with any other girls. It's not like I want to; I have Rhea to kiss and flirt with." Again, Callie was just jealous that she didn't get too kiss him. It sucked for her.
Jack, before setting her down again, spun her around with him once or twice, but after that, felt a little dizzy. He let her feet reach the ground, but still remained in a hugging position. "You know what? I don't care thet you lied, I'm just glad you said it." Jack wasn't exactly going to force her to accept it, but lying about it was a ginormous one step forward for Callie, so he loved to hear it. "Ohhhh, but if we carried on our heated discussion you wouldn't get this awesome hug now would you?!" And nobody would jeopardize not getting a hug from Jack. He laughed at her snot comment, before letting go of her, and raised an eyebrow. "Within reason my darling. I don't want to kill people for you or anything." Would Callie be that evil?

Silly ? She wasn't being silly. She was being truthful. Rhea DID want Jack and her not to be friends because she was eeeeevil. Or that was what Callie thought anyways. She could be wrong but Callie thought she was mean 'specially after she'd STOLEN Jack. pout. "Am I ? Am I reeeeally Riding. Gimme 3 reasons why im being silly then ?" Hm. He could give her 3 reasons prolly, he was smart like that. OR He'd distract her he was good at that either. "She is evil in my eyes. And And when she breaks your little heart you'll realise and then you'll owe me an apology. A biiiig one." she nodded.
She giggled as he frowned. Not that it was funny because Jack frowning wasn't a funny matter it was quite upsetting anyways. She nodded as he said he was shocked. She waaaas quite a shocking person when she wanted to be. She scoffed as he said he wasn't tied down. "PFFFTTT. Course your not tied down. You have a girlfriend which sorta makes you tied down, doesnt it ?" eyebrow raise. She pretended to vomit again as he said he could kiss and flirt with Rhea. "too much info' there Jacky." Smiiiiiirk.
Callie clung onto Jack. She was happeh they were on good terms again. Not that they didn't argue all the time. There arguments always seemed to end in them sharing secrets though, which was good. "Ookay whatever. But lets just get one thing straight I did NOT mean it." aslong as he understood that she was good with anything. She thought about his next comment. It was like totally true but she couldn't just AGREE. that'd be like not right. No it wouldn't. She looked up at him, as much as she could because well she couldn't see him too well while they were hugging. "Well Um no. But I give more awesome hugs than you so I could just hug myself. It'd be better." she replied after thinking about it. It wasn't a vereh good reply but yeah she'd thought hard about that. "What do you take me for ?"

Jack raised an eyebrow at Callie’s request; it seemed like a pretty easy and obvious one. And so, here he was to prove her wrong yet again. He took a proper stance, and smacked his index fingers together, just for effect. “One, you think Rhea is trying to make me hate you by talking to be in nice vocabulary.” Jack elaborated on the latter, just so she knew how silly she was being. But, even though Callie was silly the majority of time, he loved her lots and lots. “Two,” Jack pressed his index finger to his middle finger this time. “Because you don’t like Rhea, for some strange reason, you think it’s appropriate to tell me loads of horrible things and to stir up things, even though you claim to be the best friend ever.” Again, did she really think mucking up relationships was being a good friend? Jack could muck his own relationship on his own! He didn’t need her help! “And three,” Index finger pressing his third finger. “You brought up Cosette just so you can talk about how much you hate her, when she happens to be another friend of mine.” So, to conclude, Callie was JEALOUS. She seemed to dislike all of Jack’s female friends, coincidence? NO.
“Okay then. If I fall head over heels for her and she breaks up with me, then yes, I’ll apologise.” But that wasn’t going to happen; Jack wasn’t going to fall in love, that wasn’t him.
Hmmmm. Jack had never been tied down before, so it wasn’t like he knew what it felt like, but he did know that he wasn’t, rawrrr! “But Rhea isn’t oppression or keeping me under the thumb, even if you think she is.” He mumbled the last part. Callie thought everything negative towards Rhea was true. Callie probably thought Rhea eat people too ... “Jacky is a girl’s naaaaame!” He whined, and stamped his feet a little. Yes, it was childish, but how was a manly man meant to cope when someone called him ‘Jacky’?
Jack grinned. “Yeah, yeah.” He chose to ignore what she said about not meaning it. She said it, therefore it was the truth! Hahaha! He was just happy that the arguing was done now, but that did mean he owed her, even if she said something that she didn’t really care about it, at least if he were to ‘do something’, she could then mean it, because he wasn’t planning on doing anything just because she had said something she didn’t mean. NOT FAIR. “Yes, but hugging me is so much cooler than ... hugging yourself...” But it would be hilarious to watch. “Okay then, what do you have in mind?”

With a devious grin etched upon the face of one Hailey St. James, that could only mean one thing; trouble was going down and no one was going to stop her cause who would believe a good little girl was capable of doing anything that would break the rules. Pfft rules, nothing but useless written lines that prevented people from having any real fun anywhere; she was never one for rules and without any rules, there was the chance for some quite interesting amusement.
On her agenda this time, was a snowboard ramp made of built up snow and a couple plastic planks to keep it from falling over; even though she didn't believe in rules, that didn't mean that Hailey wasn't one for safety since she never wanted to get hurt from doing something that wasn't well prepared. Hmm.. maybe this was the spot, closing her eyes, she managed to picture the 6 foot tall ramp and immediately wanted to get to work on it.
Adjusting her bright blue hard hat, she circled a large area of the gate region and started taking notes on her clipboard; she knew that people would think she was a bit strange for wearing a hard hat but did Hailey care? Not really.

Grayson was bored. There was no way around it. She hadn't seen any of her new possible partners-in-crime around school, and Raven was elsewhere. All graduated and stuff, but that left Grayson stuck at Hogwarts with nothing to do. She had a few potions on her, but the opportune moment for slipping them to anyone hadn't presented itself. And she'd accomplished the plan for sliding down the moving staircase railing. So she was left with tree climbing, and that wasn't quite as fun during the winter.
But she was out in the grounds anyway, Draco in his usual place around her neck, probably to end up climbing the treehouse tree again. Until she got near the front gate, and she saw a flash of bright blue. Curious, and it got herattention away from her boredom. Wandering nearer, a giggle escaped. "Whatcha planning?," she asked the girl with the clipboard. Clipboards meant plans, and Grayson was so going to be behind that idea. Maybe she could get a cool hat too, but she'd want hers to be raspberry. It didn't even occur to her that she didn't know the girl. Not really. She thought she'd seen her when she'd met Jimmy and Fin last summer, but that didn't count.
