Hailey grinned a bit as she heard Tyler's voice, she wasn't surprised that he finally decided to come out and practice since that was the usual routine in the fall. "Thought you'd never join the party, Ty." she said then pushed the ball ahead of her brother, heading towards the opposite end of the courtyard.

Just to show off, she deked the ball then wandered backwards, still guiding the ball with her stick. Even with a few days of no practice, she was still on top of her game.

Tyler shook his head slightly, still wearing a smirk. "You know I'd never miss this kind of party; my favorite kind." He replied, watching the ball roll past him as Hailey pushed it with the stick.

His sister was such a show-off, but she knew that she was that good. "You don't have to impress me, you know." He pointed out as he began to walk towards her, holding the stick in both hands.

Brittany walked from the corridor out into the courtyard. She had been talking to a newly acquainted slytherin boy who seemed to need to have a seat so they decided to come out here. She walked over to a vacant bench and sat down and looked to see if he had followed her out like she thought he would.

Hailey chuckled a bit before deciding to deke the ball once more, this was just like any other training session for her. "You know Jaxon's been looking for you right?" she asked curiously, wondering why she mentioned that during hockey.

"I know I don't have to, but I choose to because that's just how I am and you should know that by now." She said with a grin before shooting the ball against the curb.

Tyler was surprised to hear this, though he kept his expression mildly interested as he continued to watch the ball. "Really? What for?" It had been a while since the two had seen one another, but he couldn't think of a reason why Jax would be looking for him.

"Oh, I know that already, so I'll just pretend that you're showing off for all of those unfortunate enough to lack the knowledge of this great sport." He replied, reaching out his stick to steer the ball towards him. "Ha."

Hailey pretended to act shocked as Tyler steered the ball towards himself, she knew that it was going to happen anyways. "I think he just wants to talk to you, we both got letters from mom and we wanted to know if you got one too." she asked curiously, charging forward slightly.

"Most people around this school haven't heard of hockey, it's so frustrating having to explain it to pureblood wizards and witches when there's no point seeing as they aren't exactly interested." It was so sad but quite true.

"wohhooo, got a little crush on someone?", Fee smiled wiggling her eyebrows. :eyebrow:

"I dont wanna look like im am hungry for boys", she said with a little sigh,"it just seems that everyone is getting a boyfriend except me."

Evan followed Brittany to the bench with the memories of Mina. They played football here once. Mweh. He did miss her a lot. Maybe he should dismiss this firstie soon to finally write a letter to her.

Sitting down on the bench, he enjoyed the relief. Then, eyeing Brittany, he expected her to talk. They wouldn't sit out in silence here, would they?

Cass strolled around the courtyard as she tucked her hands inside the pockets of her white jacket. She had traded her green and black robes for a white and green skirt and jacket ensemble before she headed for the courtyard. She tucked a stray stand of her long blonde hair behind her ear she looked at the horizon. It was nice to be alone for a while. She loved her friends, but a girl just needs her me time sometime. Besides, lately, she's been feeling lonely...despite Fee and Freya's presence. She loved both of them dearly...but she just didn't know what was wrong with her these days..

She sighed softly as she sat down on the edge of the fountain and played with the water absently

"Hey Fee." Freya waved and smiled to her. "Fancied meeting you here. What are you doing here?" she asked.


"Yups. We're rommies" she said. She heard Fee saying that she's one of her closest friends. She smiled. "Well. and Fee is one of my closest friend too. Yeah the world was pretty small" she laughed "and considering that the three of us are Slytherin firstie it's a small world" she giggled.

Ty shook his head as Hailey mentioned a letter from their mother. "Not yet, though I imagine it can't be too far behind. You know that she likes to keep up with whatever is going on, especially with this being a new school and all that." He cut around his sister and moved the ball along the rough stones.

"Well, I don't know about that. There was a kid in my DADA class that mentioned hockey in one of the discussions. I never did get the chance to talk to him though. Maybe if I see him again, he can join us in a game." He suggested, flipping the ball onto the blade of his stick, then into the air.

Now there was a statement that Trixie completely agreed with. Boys were just annoying, well a lot of them were. And they were heartbreaking *sniff* "I hear ya" she sighed. Anyway what was it they were talking about again? The blonde looked a little confused as Neptune snugged her, she could be certain none of her friends had done that before, but she simply shrugged it off and looked instead over at the other side of the Courtyard.

Pedicure? Now that sounded appealing. Very in fact. "Unfortunately I don't think that's a speciality of the House Elves" she giggled a little. "Sounds great though" she grinned.

"You DID? Was it his hair?" That probably WOULD be a deal breaker, having to battle that when snogging and generally having to look at it. Neptune threw her arms around Trixie and gave her a BIG, sympathetic, all out loving hug. "I'm so sorry. SO sorry. Did you cry?"

Oh how AWFUL.

Neptune continued petting Trixie after her hug was finished, finally just taking her hand to hold. "I'm sure someone here would do our cute toesies. Do you want to ask Headmaster Tate who he recommends?"

Seriously, that noise was WEIRD - like a demented guinea pig or sommat.

He stared at the strange creature and pulled a face as he watched it, unaware that he was being scrutinised by it's blonde owner. His eyes left the creature when she spoke and he focused on her instead, smiling a little, amused by her words. A pygmy puff after his own heart. He could relate to all the attention seeking. Heh.

“I've never heard one make so much noise.” He said and reached out tentatively to touch the strange fluffy creature. “I didn't know they could. What's it's name?”

Names... oh yeah - good call. “I'm Oliver by the way. Oliver Greenwood.” And he perched himself on the side of the fountain next to the blonde without invite. Well... he was bored. And blondie looked.. interesting.

"I hope it does for you," Vashti replied honestly. She might've asked about it, but she wasn't sure whether Eirian wanted to talk about it with her or not and she didn't want to be pushy or anything. If Eirian wanted to talk to her, she would, wouldn't she?

"I know, but I need to do it," she answered, glancing down at her paper. "I just didn't want to do it inside." But... "Still...what do you have in mind?" she asked. She could put her work off for a little if whatever the Slytherin wanted to do was indeed fun. Play was always better than work, right?

"Oh i was a little bored and the common room was so crowded", Fee told her friend.
"How fancy you know Ever", she giggled.
Fee looped her scarf tighter around her neck. Oh man she hated winter.

"Cold?" Ever asked Fee worriedly. "So..." she said, for lack of anything else to say, "how did you discover you were witches? Like, what type of magic did you first do?" This should be an interesting conversation.

Hailey raised her eyebrow slightly when Tyler said that he hadn't received a letter yet. "She probably sent it a couple days ago then. She's been badgering me lately about keeping up with hockey practice, dude; that's a challenge when there's so much work and studying to do." She followed after her brother, trying to trip him up slightly.

"Interesting.. well the people I've talked to really don't know about hockey and I guess I've been educating them about the sport. That would be good if you could get him to join us cause I need some practice against another skater." She smirked slightly then rolled her eyes slightly as Ty flipped the ball into the air.

Fee smiled at Ever as she sae the worried expression on her face.
"Yes a bit",she said,"but its okay."
Ever was really incredebly sweet. Fee was really happy she had met her in the train.
"Oh by the way how is your brother doing?", she asked curious.
She hadnt seen him im ages.
"Oh its was really funny", she laughed at the memory," i got my brother a pigtail cause he had annyoed me."

Ever smiled back at Fee. "I don't really know...usually, we're so close, but now I barely see him. I did see him once though in the hallways, with a group of...I guess his new friends." She was glad her brother Demitri had made friends. He was so shy.

She laughed as Fee told the story of her discovery of magic. "That's funny! Does your brother go to Hogwarts?" she asked curiously.
"Oh, Demi and I discovered it on our 5th birthday, we were blowing out the candles on our cake, and the whole picnic table blew away," she giggled.

"Oh thats really sad", Fee said feeling sorry.
"If you see him some time say hi from me", she laughed.
Demitri had been really nice in the train.

"He had been to Hogwarts", Fee told her friend,"but he graduated last year."

This kid was AMUSED by her squealing and/or annoying pygmy puff. Savannah wasn't sure what to say. The thing was cute even if it was annoying. The whole squealing thing was probably quite adorable for someone who didn't have to put up with the thing all the time. Savvy picked it up off her shoulder, resting it in her hands. The squealing now went to humming. still loud but slightly less irratting. Sigh. Savannah wondered how she actually got slept with that thing. Savvy looked up from the pygmy puff to the boy standing in front of her,"I think this one's a bit of an oddball...."Cause she had never heard a pygmy puff squeal like this one had done.

Again, of course she picks the annoying one.

"I'm pretty sure it thinks it's some big bad animal...I've caught it attempting to roar a few times..."Savannah said with an amused look. The "roaring" sounded more like squawking, really terrible piercing squawking. Name? Oh, yeah, it had a name."Errrr...Jigglypuff..."Pause."After the pokemon..."Hopefully this guy KNEW what pokemon was cause if he didn't she was sure to be bombarded with 44534343334 questions.

Ah, names. Good call, good call. Savannah smiled at the boy, Oliver apparently? That name did ring a bell, of course savannah couldn't remember where exactly she heard it considering she had the memory of a goldfish. "nice to meet you."Damn it, she KNEW she had heard that name before. It was going to bug her so bad. Was it Cammy's boyfriend? She KNEW she had mentioned a name before but she couldn't remember it.

Curse her terrible memory.

SAvannah smiled at him, the pygmy puff still humming in her hands."i'm Savannah Conrad."She looked down at the pygmy puff again, trying to make her remember where she heard his name from....suddenly, it clicked.

"OHHHHHHMYGOSHHHH!!!!"She flailed, the pygmy puff bouncing around in her hands now squawking. She didn't care though, she had a smart moment and needed to be excited."You are the guy Lori beat with a shoooooooe!!!!"Hehhhhh. YESH! That was it! Gah, Lori. Savvy had not SEEN Lori in a while, she missed her in all honesty.

well this was awkward. She didnt really know how to start off a conversation with him because they hadnt meet on pleasant terms. "soo..." she began to say. "Tell me about yourself. I know your a slytherin and your in 5th year, so i take it you 15 or 16?" she asked hoping it asnt prying to much

"We just met a couple minutes ago" Freya said to Fee smiling. She was glad she know Ever, she's really sweet girl



Freya heard the two girls talking about how they knew that they were witch. She then turned her gaze to Ever. "You have a twin sister?" she asked.

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Well you can call me Bella if that is going to be easier for you Salander and i am in my first year"

Adam walked with Ever Lily to the Courtyard, they were supposed to meet up with Fee there. As they walked Adam kept the conversation flowing by talking about favorite things to do in the summer, or what happened over the summer.
