A stone square courtyard is what you first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain.
Enya sighed, turning to look at the older boy. She had been hoping for some quite, but she knew now that she had sat down that wouldn't happen. She ignored the boys first sentence and instead decided to tackle the second. Well dah course she had seen him, she just chosen to ignore him. She shrugged, "Of course i saw you but doesn't mean i have to say hi or anything" She said sarcasticly towards him. Sigh.
Enya noticed he had blushed and all, making her giggled. Aww he was so embarressed. Brillient! "How come it doesn't matter? I've taken your seat and all" She said sweetly, wondering what awful thing she would do to him.
Kale was shocked by the girl's comment. "No need to be rude little girl." Kale was getting rather annoyed with he now. She was being more rude then she needed to be. "First years should know there place." He added and then moved even further down the bench. Kale knew better than to attack a girl plus a girl much younger than him...so he forced himself to keep his hand off his wand. When Kale got angry his lisp was not there, that was the only plus to getting angry. "And for your information, it doesn't matter becuase YOU little girl are not worth my time." Kale in fact stood up to leave, but then again realized he had no where else to go and sat back down.

Enay stared at the older boy. Had he just called her a little girl!? No one did that and got off lightly. Now she was angry. She even glared and stood up to face the boy, "Excuse me!?" She cried her face dark with anger, "Im no 'little girl' you can just tell off." She added folding her arms across her body. "And im no first year! Im second" She cried next anger more then ever. He would pay for this!
"Old people like you should know their manners" She replied to him still glaring.
She wasn't worth his time? Ha. He wasn't worth hers! "Im not worth your time? Your not worth mine!" She shouted at him.

Kale laughed at the girl when she stood up. She came up just barely past his ebow. "You look pretty little to me." Kale's heart fell when he realized he was fighting with a second year....just walk away. kale thought to himself. "Well seeing as we are not worth each other times..just go about your business then." Kale waved his hand down the road to show that she was excused from his presense. He didn't need her around anymore and he certainly was not going to give her anymore of his time.

"And you look pretty ugly to me!" She replied glaring at him still. She knew she was smaller in height then him, but she wasn't going to let that one hold her down. God No! He was so rude! He needed to learn some manner's! Glare. She knew he couldn't actually hit her, but she could hit him - if she needed too. SHe would. Oh she would!
But now he was dismissing her like she was some sort of servent. No way! She stommped her foot. "Don't talk to me like that?" She shouted at him. "Im no servent you can just boss around" She added walking forward to kick him in the leg with her high heel'd shoe and glared at him. How rude!

Kale looked at the girl and didn't have time to register what she was doing before he was kicked in the shin. He grabbed his leg and began to rub it. "What is your problem!" Kale shouted at her...he had never had so many issues with one little girl before....goodness she was a pain in his back side. "Look kid, you were the one who started this.....by sitting down on MY bench and being rude....just go away....alright." Kale was using ALL of his self control not to use a charm or curse or something on her to make her go away....but that would loose him points as well as dignity for attacking a younger girl.
Continuing to flip through the pages slowly, Sabel listened quietly and attentively to Danika. A small frown furrowed his brow at the mention of Runes just being like another language. Had he missed something in their Ancient Runes class? Or perhaps he had been too evaluative of the multiple meanings that they could carry. Whatever the case, he was surprised to learn that Runes weren't simply a divination tool, but an actual language.
"That's one way to describe film and television." He nodded in agreement at her interpretation of moving pictures combined with plays, smiling softly at the unique way of understanding it. Perhaps, once she was more comfortable with a world of non-wizards, he could suggest her going to see one, if only just for the experience.
But his attention was quickly turned to her addressment, and he blinked up at her a little. "Would...that be okay? We have an Ancient Runes class here, but they teach you more of the predicting and interpreting aspect than how to read or understand them as a language. This," he ran his fingers over the page again, "is fascinating." Blinking he spared a glance at the symbols and then at her, slightly confused. "Does that mean you can speak it too?"
Amazing, wasn't it? A simple little parchment can contain the most incredible aspects of history, however in this book, merely legends.
But legends always came from something, that's why it's as important to study them.
Film and television. Sigh. At least Danika understood the concept, but it will probably be quite a while for her to actually see the invention in person. First she'll have to step into the non-magical world for that one, then again, it would be like the ballet, except perhaps with much more non-magicals in there.
But Danika didn't have an answer for that yet, it would be like sharing the only key that opens the door to the world's secrets, and she'd rather keep the secrets to herself. That's why she didn't answer just yet. "You only study it as a divination method" she said, with a nod, and yes it was fascinating, even as a child she was amazed at it, the lack of common letters for her, and how ancients communicated by mere symbols, that was more important than the language itself. The ancients.
There was a frown on her face, "I cannot" yet, "I can merely translate and read it, vut I cannot speak it" she has yet to find the person who can and that hadn't been easy, "My mother taught me, and she does not speak it either" her mother wasn't interested in learning to do so, which has made Danika's search attempts much more difficult.
It was time to answer his question, she couldn't delay it much longer, "I am not a very good teacher, Savel" she started to say, the eyes went from the book to the boy, "Vut I guess I could try" startled at her own answer the girl added, "If you teach me something that vould ve considered difficult in your vorld" she smiled.
Then curiosity arises at the mention of his world, "Vhere are you from, Savel?" because his accent was slightly different from the rest, for the little she'd heard of.

"'My Bench'!?" She asked laughing, "It's not your bench, it belongs to the school so you have no right to tell me to go away!" She cried towards the older boy. Man he annoyed her. Enya moved her hand to hold her wand in her pocket, she knew he probably was thinking the same. But if not it's best to be on the safe side. She'd just plead like it was an accident. Yeah she'd do that. Smirk.
"And my problem is that your annoying, rude, and should learn some manners!" She almost shouted towards him - at least she wasn't shouting anymore. "So you can go away and leave me alone!" She added sitting back on the bench before her.

Sabel's hand froze instantly at the mention of her mother, a brief ghost of pain flickering across his face before it was gone and only a blank expression was left. He returned his eyes to stare pointlessly at the page, much of his enthusiasm suddenly subdued as he slowly closed the book. Speaking came after a moment, with a conscious effort of force. "Your mother, sounds like an interesting woman. A very knowledgeable one. I am sure she is very proud of you."
It was a relief that she didn't end there and forced his mind to consider other things. Such as something that was difficult in the muggle world. A frown was the first expression back on his face and his hand finally moved again over the cover of the book. "I would appreciate that...though, I'm not too sure what would be considered difficult in the non-wizard world." Maybe quoting Lord of the Rings, given that Kellen gave him such strange looks all the time whenever he did quote it, but then, Kellen wasn't from the land of muggles. So there was really only one question left to ask. "What are you interested in learning about...the non-wizarding world?"
Geography? Maybe? His green eyes flicked to her when she asked where he was from. Would she know if he said? Probably. Or maybe not. "I'm from Canada. Kelowna more precisely, its in the Rocky Mountains, in British Columbia."

Kale rolled his eyes at her. Wow she was annoying and DUMB. "Look I'll give you about 3 seconds to move or I'll think of a really nice curse to use on you." Kale knew he wouldn't actually use a curse on her...in fact he was about to case the Pretego charm around himself in case she did it, but he thought if he sounded threatening she would at least 'think' about leaving him alone. He smiled and sat back down on the bench...they were back to where they had started but it wasn't not going to be Kale who left this spot..no sir..he was there first.

Enya laughed, was that suppose to scare her? She'd been scared by things scaryer. She she settled nicely on the bench, leaning back and folding her arms. Ah how comfy. She could stay here for a while - which she planned to actually do. Just to annoy the older boy. Ah how she loved annoying them. Giggle.
"Make me!" She said peeking at the boy while she herself settled down onto the bench. She knew he wouldn't attack her. He wasn't aloud for one thing, he'd get detention and all. Ha. Make a change then her being in it.

Kale had just about had enough.....he pulled his wand out of his pocket and waved it in the air....he stopped half way through...he couldn't do it....He stuck his wand back into his pocket and looked at her. "You have got to be the most annoying first year I have ever met." Kale then remembered she was a second year...well that should annoy her a little bit more....then he heard 'make me' and lost it. He stood up off the bench...picked the girl up and swung her over his shoulder. He smiled wondering what she was going to do....he dropped her on the grass about 20 feet from where the bench was. "Now stay there or I'll put a permanent sticking charm on your feet."

Enya smirked at the guy, ah she so loved it when she got on their nerves. It was so funny. She even started to laugh when she watch him take out his wand, wave it, then put it back. He was such a chicken. Brillient, better to annoy. Ah she was so loving this year at Hogwarts already. Better then her first year anyway.
But he called her first year. AGAIN! "Im a second year, get it right next time!" She told him with grinted teeth. Man her was annoying. Smiling Enya settled back again, but before she could really relax she felt herself lifted.
She screamed. Opening her eyes.
The.Guy.Was.Carrying.Her.Over.His.Shoulder. What!? He couldn't do that. He just couldn't!
"PUT ME DOWN!" She screamed hitting his back with her fist's. Oh he was going to pay for this. He was just RUDE!
Enya fell to the hard ground when he put her down, she glared up at him. Jumping up she glared at him dangiously. He was going to pay. BIG TIME!
"Don't tell me what to do!" She shouted at him, side-stepping him to head back towards the bench.

Geography? Maybe? His green eyes flicked to her when she asked where he was from. Would she know if he said? Probably. Or maybe not. "I'm from Canada. Kelowna more precisely, its in the Rocky Mountains, in British Columbia."
Danika noticed. His voice even changed. She didn't know what had cause the change, but she wasn't going to ask it either. It didn't concern her, otherwise he'd mentioned something, no?
The girl continued as if nothing had happened. Perhaps it would be appreciated? After all, if something causes you an unwanted feeling, then it was better to try not to mention it. At least she was sure it applied at the moment. Eventually one will have to face it.
The girl didn't smile, Danika was only a favourite in her father's eyes, "That is vhat people say, yes" and in all honesty she was, Danika only happened to differ with her mother in a few subjects, "As any other parent vould ve proud of their children, I suppose" it wasn't something that she'd heard her mother say, therefore it was very difficult to actually know.
Danika wondered for a moment if perhaps his parents were proud of him? After all, he was leading a completely different life than their own, "Are yours?" she decided on asking, though she knew the answer would be a positive one for she thought well of the boy.
Then she nodded, "I vould do my vest" at least she'd try, but practice made the difference. "I do not knoe for sure, hoe much do you knoe avout technology?" she asked, looking around in case Zitnik made a surprise appearance. Yes, she was still slightly concerned about that. "Or perhaps.." if she wanted to do one thing after leaving Durmstrang, then she'd better know as much as possible about this one, "...transportation?" surely he could recommend a book.
The girl looked away from the Courtyard, eyes on the book as Sabel spoke, "Canada?" she wasn't really asking, "Three years ago I vent to Baffin Island, I velieve that also velongs to Canada, right?" she smiled, mostly at the memory of taking that trip with her brother. Great climbing times for sure.
Enya smirked at the guy, ah she so loved it when she got on their nerves. It was so funny. She even started to laugh when she watch him take out his wand, wave it, then put it back. Kale smiled.....even though the girl was annoying the crap out of him...you had to give her credit, she was spit ball of fire. "Don't you ever give it a rest?" Kale added again and quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and turned her back around again. "Listen kid...this isn't the best day of my life and I would really apprecaite it if you would Back off" Kale sort of shouted the last words at her and the flug her back toward the grassy part of the courtyard again. He was going to give up shortly....he couldn't handle the noice this girl made.

Intending on just going for a leisurely walk through the grounds, Carson had stopped at the courtyard and sat down on an empty bench when she stood up abruptly to shouting. Her eyes widened at the sight she saw - a Hufflepuff (a HUFFLEPUFF!!) had some pore little second year over his shoulder. Snicker. That was the Slytherin in Carson totally coming out there.
But then.... hmmm. She noticed as the guy continued to yell that he seemed to be having a bad day and it probably wasn't all his felt. Major frown. Awww now she felt bad for him. Being her, Carson couldn't exactly pass that up. As he pushed the girl towards another end of the courtyard, she walked kind of hesitantly over to him. "Hi, I know we haven't met - I'm Carson - but.... are you okay?" she asked a bit worriedly, biting her lip.

"No i do NOT!" She managed to shout before she felt him grab her around her waist and pull her back. It really hurt when she hit the grassy floor of the courtyard - but she wouldn't say. She jumped up and approached the older boy. Glare.
"Don't tell me what to do!" She said dangeriously towards him. Gah did she really dislike this guy. He was just so....so...Mean! Glare even more. "And this isn't the best day of your life? Big whoop! No need to take it out on me" She cried kicking his shin again. Gah!

Nobody could ever break their promise now. Exactly how it should be.
"Well, i actually like fake nails, but i am to much in love with a different nail polish every week", Fee laughed.
Oh yes she was, she kinda collected nail polishes and lipgloss.
Girly-Girl Altert again !!
*laugh*
"Wizarding world, watch out Kita and Fee will go mad in shopping heaven", she said laughing.
Oh yes she could imagine them going into every single shop and freak out.
"Maybe girls are a bit complicated but wouldnt it be boring if they werent? And guys are so much more confusing", she said confused but laughing.
Dreaming about how it would be to find prince charming at the yule ball she happy sighed.
That would be so perfect. Nearly to perfect.
"Oh and at night the stars were shinging and it would be all romantic", she said dreamy.
Typical Girls. *Giggle*
"Right and the more you try to fix it the worse it gets", she said laughing," i love heats they kinda suit me."
That was a good thing even if she had a bad hair day she looked okay with her hat. Not incredebly amazing but okay.
"Yeah , i love my family", Fee smiled.
She laughed along with Kita. Paul with the pigtail, that was soooo funny. He had looked like a real pig.
"Walking around with a pigtail? Oh glitter, that would be soo funny yet so embarrasing.
Kita looked at Fee and smiled. It was so nice that she was so close to her already. Well, she had grown close to her since they first met outside Florean's in Diagon Alley. It was so weird to think that over a month ago, these two girly girls didn't know that the other existed. Weird.
Kita's smile grew as the girls locked their little fingers in a pink promise; the one promise you can't break. She started laughing. "I like painting different colours every week as well! It's just great to spend half an hour or even an hour on nails," she said, smiling at the mere thought, "What a great way to spend your time!" She loved spending time painting her nails; especially if it was with someone who loved doing the same thing.
She started laughing again. "Exactly! The two of us shopping in the wizarding world," she said, smiling, "It won't know what has hit it." There was nothing like shopping! And in the wizarding world, it was even better!
"Yeah!" she said, "Boys can be so confusing at times. They can act so weirdly sometimes! Us girls have to keep things colourful!" Girls are so good at going hyper, it was unbelievable!
Kita sighed dreamily. She could imagine it now. She would be walking along a path with her prince charming. Snow was falling lightly everywhere and building up on the floor but not on the path which was good; the last thing any girl needed was to get snow falling on her bare feet while she was in heels. Stars would twinkle happily, shining brightly in the dark midnight sky. The perfect surroundings, the perfect dress and the perfect guy. What a perfect ball.
Landing back into Hogwarts, she shook her head and smiled. "It would be you know!" she said, "Stars shining in a dark sky and you're looking at it in the perfect dress with your prince charming next to you. That is seriously romantic." If only some dreams can become reality.
"Yeah! In the end, you just have to leave it and hope that it doesn't look as bad as you think it looks," she said, sighing sadly, "Ooh! No wonder! I can imagine you in a hat and still looking pretty." She nodded and knew it was true. If only she looked great in hats; no more bad hair days shown for the rest of the world to see.
"Aw! That's nice," Kita said, "Do you miss them now that you're at Hogwarts. Well, since you've been here for a month, did you miss them in September?" She knew that she certainly missed her family all those years ago when she was a firstie.
She laughed again. "It would be!" she said, "It's the perfect revenge if someone has annoyed you. And if they stop, then it can be taken off with a threat."
She didn't sound completely convinced of her own acknowledgement of her mother's pride, but he wasn't going to push it. Parents and pride could be tricky matters, and he didn't want to set the girl off. It didn't help that his mind was once again distracted, no longer seeing Danika or the book as he cast his eyes somewhere pointless. "They are."
And that was all he was going to say about it. He had no desire to express that they were proud enough to send him back to Hogwarts while...Shaking his head he snapped his focus back to her request, considering the two options. "Well, transportation is very much linked to technology." Did this girl want to go somewhere in the non-wizarding world? He would be surprised. "So, I can do my best to tell you what I know on both of them. At the very least, I can convey the basics. Depends on what you ask."
Then, she was disclosing that she had already travelled into the non-wizarding world and to Baffin Island nonetheless. He blinked rapidly at her a few times. "It is. In the Northwest Territories." Cold. "Why were you up there?"

She laughed again. "It would be!" she said, "It's the perfect revenge if someone has annoyed you. And if they stop, then it can be taken off with a threat."
Being around Kita had become Fee's fave thing to do. Whenever she could she was around her. The only thing that separeted them for some time was that they were in different houses. That was such a pitty.
Oh a pinky promise. The unbreakable. She was so happy at the moment.
"Ahhh, yes we should paint our nails together next time", she laughed," next time i will paint them green."
Currently they were purple. A dark, glittery purple.
"Oh yeeeees, when you paint them they have to look good, otherwise it wouldnt make any sense", she giggled,"but you have to know how to do it right, of course."
Woah, that sounded a bit mean. Anyways,Kita knew what Gee meant. That was the only important thing.
"Could be a potential new hobby", she giggled,"painting our nails together while talking."
Oh glitter. The thoughtnof shopping made Fee's heart jump. She handt been for a month wich was really long. At least in her oppinion.
"We will go to every single shop and try everything possible on", she said dreamy,"and we will buy everything we want. Its gonna be fabulous."
OH yes. Besties and shopping. BEST combo !
"Boys are always confusing, i mean why do they hug you one time and the next time they are to shy to evemn touch you?"
Ugh. That REALLY was confusing.
"Oh yes, you in your perfect dress, with the perfect guy and the stars above you. And then he kisses you", she said daydreaming.
Wouldnt that be perfect? It would. She sighed dreamly.
Snapping out of her daydream she replied,"Right, and at the end of the day you figure that it even looked worse".
Fee laughed.
"Aww, Kita you do look beautiful always as well", she smiled warmly.
Kita truely was really good looking. Fee couldnt understand why she hadnt had a boy on her side. Crazy world.
"Well, sometimes i miss them, but its not to bad", Fee said,"i am enjoying to be here that i hardly have time to miss them."
"What about you?"
She laughed at Kita.
"Ohhhhhh right, and no one could proof that you did it", she giggled.
Evil plans were made.

"Don't tell me what to do!" She said dangeriously towards him. Gah did she really dislike this guy. He was just so....so...Mean! Glare even more. "And this isn't the best day of your life? Big whoop! No need to take it out on me" She cried kicking his shin again. Gah!
Kale turned ready to walk away from the second year when he noticed a rather pretty girl come foward. "Carson...I'm Kale" He added he was so ready to the stupid second year to be gone. He turned back toward her and she kicked his shinn again. "Now that's enough of that!" Kale shouted at her again....he was slightly embarassed. "Excuse that mess there..Carson" He added and waved his hand at the little girl. Kale had had enough of her to begin with. He took out wand waved it and did a sticking charm on the girls shoes hoping that would keep her busy for a while...and hoping that a teacher wouldn't notice the shoes there for a while. "Carson would you like to take this conversation else where?" Kale was shocked at his own braveness....

Of course they would be. Danika clearly didn't have much knowledge about his world, but she figured the non-magicals would be rather thrilled to discover their world.
Back to the non-magical related subject, and back to looking around. No sign of...anyone that may be consider suspicious. 'Depends on what you ask'. Oh, well, she had no idea what her question could be right now, considering she'd just settled on the technology or transportation part. Danika would've to think first about what information was needed and then ask Sabel without giving much away. "Vhat if I do not knoe vhere to start?" because the little knowledge she had about non-magicals was precisely that, little.
Oh, see, Mikhail had been right. It was in Canada. Danika smiled, "For the summer" because, well, apparently people preferred warm places, she didn't, "Ve vere just traveling around the North" without making any sort of contact with the non-magical folk, of course, her brother wasn't as kind as she was.
"Have you ever veen there?" she asked, slightly curious, while her eyes scanned the room, not looking for anything suspicious now, just looking around.

Did she want him to turn on the charm? "Uhmm, I think I've had enough big egos for one day." She merely shrugged. It seemed almost every guy she had met had one bigggg ego....or was friends with Savannah.
"See this-" Hayley said motioning the space between the two, "would never work out." She shivered at the thought of him kissing Sadie. YUCK. Then again they always could be just friends, she had tons of friends who were guys. "Anyways, let's start this over, seeming as I came off a little too....uhm...upfront. What do you like to do in your free time?" She asked curiously.
"Hmm, well maybe you should talk to your 'girlfriend' about that situation? That way you two can finally understand what each other is thinking. Just throwing thoughts out here though, feel free not to take them." Hayley said, realizing that now she felt like a fortune cookie again. Ugh.
"Glad to hear it." Made a nice change, no dramas. Yet anyway. Generally Jimmy found that people who avoided drama were found by it anyway.
"It would make your ego pretty big if I flirted with you." He agreed with a small laugh. "But seriously, whats wrong with a bit of confidence?"
James just watched. Not work out? She made it sound like there'd be some epic romance instead of just a bit of harmless snogging. Snogging almost always worked out, it only failed when the other person sucked at it and couldn't be taught no matter how hard Jimmy worked at it. He was good like that, sharing all his expertise.
"Don't worry about how you came off. You're good the way you are. But to answer your question, I like to blow things up, or read, or play Quidditch, or run, or snog pretty girls, or kickboxing or stav, or the standard hang out with friends thing. Standard stuff."
Eh. Maybe. Maybe he didn't want to find out either way. Jimmy shrugged. "She's all about drama." No matter which way you looked at it, it was true.

Glad to be off the topic of family for a time, Sabel leaned back a little and rested his weight against the wall behind him. His hands found easy placement on top of the book as he tilted his head to properly see Danika. "Well, I guess that depends on what you know now, and what you would like to learn." He shrugged one shoulder, watching her curiously. "We don't have to do linear either. We can always deviate from one topic to another." Why did she seem so skittesh when speaking about muggle things? Was it regarding the talk they had about her Headmaster?
"I haven't been to the Northwest Territories yet. Alberta, Saskatchewan and Prince Edward Island and then Northern Ontario, but not up north." Summer vacation? Usually people went places warm, but if she grew up in the cold then warm would be uncomfortable. "Did you enjoy it up there? See any polar bears or penguins?"

"Yup." Hayley said simply, nodding. She remembered she still had her notebook out and tucked it back into her purse, with a thought that had entered her oh-so-fabulous mind. She took it back out again, writing next to James' name. Totally wrong. Need to find out information by own self. She smiled slightly at what she had written and shut the tiny notebook, tucking it back into her purse and her quill as well.
A bit of confidence. "Uhm, well I guess I never really thought about it that way before." She said with a shrug. Hmm, maybe he was smart. Hehe.
Blow things up? Liak whuuuuuuttt? Eh, she'll ask later. "So you love to snog girls, hmm? Even though you're kinda 'dating' someone?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Wasn't that called cheating?
All about the drama? Hmm.... "Who would you say is your best friend?" She asked switching the entire convo. around.
