The Courtyard

A stone square courtyard is what you first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain.

Lauren all dolled up walked out of the castle to wait for Rhea, she was excited to be back, she was happy about meeting new friends. Especially the International boys. They were b-e-a-utiful, and they were darlin'. She was happy about meeting them all, of course she hadn't gotten around to meeting everyone, everyone being the girls. They were all beautiful and she didn't exactly want to stand next to them. Oh she knew she was gorgeous, that wasn't her issue. It was the boys seeing what she knew.

Aha, ze Courtyard. Savannah always had a soft spot for this place even if it was kind of dull and boring then again wasn't EVERYTHING in Hogwarts dull and boring? Well, besides herself and her friends the answer to that question was YES. The blonde let out a sigh, sitting down on a bench, the Courtyard was totally empty, like DEAD empty. This made Savannah kind of sad cause she wanted to like meet new peoples and such!Only cool people of course

Savannah let out a huff, digging a a mirror out of her purse. The best thing she could do right now was look at herself and you know make sure she looked pretty and stuff. Savannah did NOT want to look ugly on the first day of classes, nope. NOPE. NOPE.

Rhea too had changed out of her uniform and threw on something casual. She was suppose to meet Lauren in the courtyard and figured she probably shouldn't hurry since her cousin would probably take forever to get dressed. She didn't feel like being too glammed up however, as she didn't want to seem like she was putting on a show for the foreigners. They were the ones who should be putting on a show for them as far as she was concerned. Hmph. She hurried down the path to the courtyard and was shocked to see lauren already there.
"Laur..wow..you're actually...here.." She smirked as she walked over to her.

"Oh shut it." She smiled "I had my outfit already picked out because I knew you'd be complainin' about me bein' late so ha! I beatchu." She grinned and stuck her tongue out at her putting her hands on her hips. "You look cuh-ute," she motioned to her outfit "So casual." she chuckled.

Preston was so excited for the first official day of classes, though, he had already tripped through the entrance to the Hufflepuff Common Room followed by, tripping down two sets of stairs later in the morning. And lets not forget knocking down a set of armor as well. Though it appeared Preston had a rough morning for an eleven year old, Preston was used to it. Well, maybe not the armor but the tripping and stairs were quite common.

Lunch time had rolled around and Preston had found that the Great Hall was too much of a distraction at meal times, he would get caught up in watching the other students for his House and others as they ate and interacted with each other that he never got to eat much food.

Thus, Preston had quickly gone into the Great Hall, grabbed a couple of sandwiches, and headed outside; Ringo the raccoon was now at his feet following Preston to the Courtyard where he watched Preston plop down on the grass legs spread out in front of him and began to eat a sandwich looking at Ringo sitting in front of him, plump like a cat watching a bird fly outside a window.

The blonde kept on looking in the mirror, going through her day in her head. It had been quite a good day for her in all honesty. She had not seen THING or Aiden for that matter, she had already seen her MINI!Savs and she was planning on meeting up with Nekoda. Oh, not to mention all the hot Durmstrang boys flirted with her, aha...yes. Today was a good day for Ms. Savannah Conrad.

And then Savannah heard footsteps and didn't even bother to look, it was probably someone of no interest anyway. Besidessssss.....she was having way too much fun looking at herself in the mirror. The blonde sighed and put the compact mirror away in her purse. She was bored and lonely.

.....she could hear chewing. GAH. The blonde turned around to see who the CHEWER was, it was a young boy with a cat. Wait....that wasn't a cat, cats didn't look like that. The blonde tilted her head to the side until suddenly it clicked.

THIS KID HAD A RACCOON AS A PET ?!?

What kind of CRAZY person had a raccon as a pet ?!?

"Is that a raccoon ?"Savannah said, her head still tilted to the side. Uhm...OBVIOUSLY it was a raccoon but she had to like double check to make sure she wasn't going insane or anything.

Having put on something a bit more comfortable, Noel wandered down from the Ravenclaw common room to the outside world. Of course, he had gotten severely lost a few times along the way, and had to ask for directions, but here he finally was.

He was supposed to be somewhere right now, he knew that, but he was suddenly distracted with the scenery of the courtyard. The view was not nearly as beautiful as him home of Beauxbatons but it was still somewhere that made you stop and look. He could see himself studying out here from time to time in fact.

Coming back to reality however, Noel looked around and spotted the two lovely ladies nearby, causing him to place a smile on his face. Adjusting his sleeves, the Beauxbatons student casually started to walk over to them, admiring the courtyard at the same time. "Bonjour mesdemoiselles."

Preston had come to a point in his life when he could ignore people, and since he was so focused on eating and giving the crust of his bread to Ringo, he hadn't noticed a girl sitting in the courtyard with him a little ways off on a bench. All he cared about was him and Ringo. Ringo and him.

Preston jumped slightly, tossing the rest of the first sandwich to Ringo to eat when the girl had spoken. He turned his body a little to get a full view of the girl. He could tell she was older, well, older than he was.

He began to eat on the second sandwich, though not really hearing the question she had asked, he was trying to figure out why she looked so familiar. Then he realized she was speaking to him and that he should probably respond sometime soon not to appear rude. He shook his slightly as he swallowed the sandwich in his mouth.

"Y-y-yes." Preston confirmed nodding his head up and down. "He acts m-m-m-more l-l-like a-a cat t-t-though." Preston told her, hoping she wouldn't worry about Ringo attacking her or something. Ringo kept to his business and was a good cat...I mean raccoon.

Lauren looked over at the sound of his voice and smiled brightly "Oh.My.Goodness. Why hello there." He was still gorgeous, she was sure that if she put a big carcass bag on him, he'd still look as gaw-jus as ever. "Did you get lost comin' down from the towers?" she giggled.

Rhea was still grinning at Lauren when about actually being on time when the girl let out a high pitch OMG. Man she had to get her to stop doing that, though she knew her attempt at that might just fail horribly. Lauren was stuck in her ways. She looked to the source of her cousin's OMG and saw Noel. Oh my.....Laur did actually invite him. She shook her head but could feel her cheeks warm. She tried to look as though she wasn't toatally doing a fan girl squeal inside by her flipping her hair causally over her shoulder and smiling at him. She was going to play it cool. Lauren took hold of the conversation quickly and Rhea looked at Noel. Had he gotten lost on his way down?
"Yeah, did you find your way here easily?"

This little kid was totally ignoring her! POUT. She doubted a little raccoon thing was more interesting than her. Savvy was going to wait a few more moments and if he didn't speak she was going to leave RACCOON!boy alone with his little pet. GAHH. Being ignored hurt Savvy's feelings.

Oh wait, the kid was now talking to her. Hehh. And he looked kind of scared ?! Awwwhh...he was a cutie. Savannah kind of wanted to run up and hug him but figured that would be awkward, he already looked scared enough as it was so she didn't want to scare him anymore. SEE! SHE CARED ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE. Aiden lied when he said she was selfish.

OMG. This kid just got even cuter, not like boyfriend cute but like AWHH I kind of want to like cuddle you like a teddy bear kind of cute. It would be creepy if she thought this kid was like boyfriend material. He was like 12 and she was 17, sure...she dated a fair amount of younger boys but NEVER that young. That'd be way too creepy. You want to know what was creepy though? THE RACCOON!

"Is it normal for a raccoon to act like a cat ?" Savannah asked, her head tilted to the side. Weren't raccoons wild animals ?

Preston continued to look at the girl. She seemed so familiar but yet he couldn't place her. For some reason he thought she had something to do with Auntie LoLo and her muggle clothing work. But he wasn't sure. All he knew was that he needed to focus on the conversation at hand. It was about Ringo after all.

He shook his head at her question as he tore of a piece of sandwich for Ringo and held it out in an open palm to the raccoon. "N-n-no." He told her, making it clear that no they didn't usually act like cats. "T-th-they u-u-usually c-c-cause t-t-trouble." Preston told her, he wasn't sure how else to explain it, but he had learned in the last year, that Ringo was definitely different than all the other raccoons.

Just like Preston was different from all the other kids his age.

He looked back at the girl and continued to study her, wondering if he had already met her before now and if he had if she remembered him.

Stopping in front of the two ladies, Noel flashed another charming smile before flipping his hair slightly, letting it sit perfectly where it was. Oh, was he late then? Since they had asked if he had gotten lost, perhaps he really should get a map of the school.

"Zere...were a few wrong turns here and zere." he said a bit uneasily, feeling the blush slowly arrive on his cheeks. "But I found my way eventually." He would've been here earlier if he just asked for directions after the first wrong turn, but he was so certain he had gotten down the right way. How wrong he was. "Your castle is quite large."

Chuckling, placed his hands in the pockets of his pants, Noel glanced around to the surrounding area for a moment before moving his attention back to the two nice ladies. "So, how are you two on zis magnifique day? You both look très agréable."

Oh.My. This boy was absolutely trying to give her a heart attack, the hair flippin' was just too much for her. Her hand instinctively moved up to her chest, and how cute, he got lost after all. "Well there's nothing to worry about, you aren't late at all. I'm just very early." She nods and looks up at the castle. It was very large, she wondered how muggles saw it. He spoke again "I'm very excited to be back, I missed it all summer, and there's an added bonus." She gestures to him with a small smile.

Savannah watched the boy as he eyed her, he was giving her that weird 'I think I know you' look. He didn't look familiar to her though, maybe they met and she didn't remember him? OR maybe he was just admiring her prettiness? It could be either you know. Shrug. She watched the boy FEED the raccoon thing. This was a strange sight, she wasn't used to see little boys feeding raccoons. Weirdo. She would have probably made fun of the kid if he wasn't so young and adorable. Hehhh."Do you know you have a stutter ?"Savannah asked, just out of curiosity. Was he like scared of her or something ? Savannah couldn't exactly tell. Hehh.

Cause Trouble ? Eh, she didn't know that. Then again she also knew nothing about raccoons. You learn something new every day... "Why do you have a pet raccoon?"Okay, now she was sounding rude and creepy and this poor kid was probably even more scared of her. she wasn't trying to be mean though! Savanna was just curious.

Rhea had to admit that currently Noel was probably the nicest out of all the guests that had arrived. Of course she hadn't met all of them but she had met a few and watched some of the others as they interacted with her fellow Hogwartians. He had agreed to walk with her and Lauren after all. She wasn't sure they all would be that willing to meet and greet.

He blushed and she smiled at him. Aww he didn't need to be embarrassed though as she still got lost sometimes even though she had been at Hogwarts for seven years. She was about to reply to him when Lauren answered. Her cousin was a talkative one but that was a good thing. Conversations were never strained. She nodded in agreement with what she said.
Rhea wasn't exactly sure what he said but figured it was a compliment based on Lauren's answer.
"I'm good too and super happy to be back. I think I'm looking forward to sitting by the lake the most."

He was not late? He was sure that he was though. Perhaps the mademoiselle was just being polite? Which would have been sweet of her, of course.

There was an added bonus? His eyebrows raised in surprise for a moment as he glanced around to see what she was gesturing to...oh! It was him! Chuckling, he smiled and turned back to the two ladies, willing the blush to not appear back onto his face. He had just got it back to it's original color. "Ze lake? Iz zat far from here?" There had been a glimpse of it while arriving at the school, but that's all he had so far; a glimpse.

It was no matter though if it was, he would be finding it tomorrow morning anyhow. "Zo...what do you Hogwarts students do for fun around here?"

Kita walked into the courtyard on her way to the grounds. Two different sides of her brain were battling it out as to whether she should stay or walk on. Groaning, she looked around the courtyard and decided that staying wouldn't be so bad. There might be a lot of people in the grounds.

She looked around her and it was then that she noticed that there were people there as well. Well, maybe not as many as there would be in the grounds but quite a few. And she noticed a blonde head standing a couple of metres away. She seemed familiar; as if she was someone Kita had talked to before. Or even seen. Frowning, she walked around the courtyard until she was more or less in a position to see her face or even part of it. She squealed as her eyes grew wide from the blonde haired girl. She ran to the nearest parting in the wall and ran towards the girl; her hair flying behind her. "Fee!!!" she screamed as she reached her friend and hugged her.

Callie was wondering around and ended up in some random courtyard place that she seemed to think that this place couldn't decide whether it wanted to be inside or outside. It had a roof like inside places did but then there were no windows or nothing or carpets or anything nice like that like usual rooms had. She shrugged standing leaning against a wall and sighing. She was kinda bored although this place was like huuuuge and there were tons of places she still hadn't seen.

Suddenly Fee heard someone screaming her name.She turned to see who it was.
"Kita",she squealed,"Oh my glitter!!"
Fee hugged her friend tightly.
"I missed you really much", she said smiling sweetly.

Fletcher slowly strolled out of the castle and down the stairs, heading into the courtyard. It was a nice, breezy September day out and he was thinking of checking out the new Care of Magical Creatures Professor, having a few ah.... questions for her and all.

He came up on a girl --- the one he'd talked to on the train, right? --- and decided to give her a little surprise. Slowly, silently, the boy sneaked up to right behind Callie and then suddenly placed both of his hands on her shoulders.

"BOOOOO."

Callie sighed. She'd hardly met anyone new all day. No wait she hadn't met anyone new. 'Sept for that dude in the common room but yeah she'd said hello to him and that was about it. She didnt really know what his name was either. That could've just been her forgetting. She looked forward trying to find someone to talk to everyone seemed to be already in conversation or walking onwards.

Then someone put there hands on her shoulders. Meh. She was probably just imagining it, she was at a magically school it couldve been like a ghost or something. The loud BOOO shouted made her scream though and she jumped around seeing the boy that looked rather similar to Jack but yeah she knew it wasn't him. Because they looked sorta different. Fletcher that was his name no ? "Ha Ha Very funny." she said rolling her eyes at him.

Kita laughed as she let go. "Oh my glitter?" she asked, "I like that! It sounds great!" She smiled. It was great to be back! "Aw! I missed you too! The last time i saw you was..." she frowned in thought and then said, "At the feast! That was such a long time ago!"
