Rambling around in his pocket for something to entertain him, Stephen's patience was running low in waiting for Lexi. was she really still unpacking? Or maybe she got lost. Lexi wasn't the bright person around, but yet, she knew how to shop. Stephy. Stephen still couldn't get used to that after all these years. Pretty sad actually.

"Miss Lexiii! About time you got here. Did you get lost or something?" Stephen asked, with a smirk on his face knowing that must've really been the reason she was late.

Lost? Uhhhh... "Er... I didn't get lost," She said and waved the accusation away with her hand. Well, Stephy hadn't actually told her where the place was, so how was she supposed to know? Frankly, Lexi was happy she even got there in the first place.

"Sooo, wassup??" Lexi smiled innocently and punched him on the arm playfully. She wondered why he hadn't gotten lost. This place was like a maze. Literally.

Jack grinned at the pet name, a proper grin. Not a smirk or a snarl or even a little smile. There was something about how Rhea used his pet names on himself that made him feel a lot closer to her, it wasn’t just the fact that their foreheads were pressed together, that was the literal meaning of ‘close’. But they were also close because of how she would compliment him, and he would compliment in turn, and she seemed to know how to make him try harder, try harder with kissing, or making her giggle or blush, making him improve on all those things so that she enjoyed them to the fullest. She looked like she wanted another kiss, but as much as he wanted to, it was time to up and leave to venture to new places.


“You’re adorable.” Jack smirked, his fingers leaving her hair and sliding off the wall. “But I better go now. We can’t spend all day here now, can we love?” If only, if only. Sorting out his hair by running a hand through it, Jack turned on his heel. “What say we meet up again soon, we could play with each other’s hair some more.” He chuckled as he walked away, giving her a wave from behind himself, and then returning to his pocket. He wondered if he’d missed a class, and really hoped he hadn’t. Not a good start to the year.

Brittany came into the corridor from her walk out at the pathways. She wasnt ready to head back up to the common room yet so she lingered her for a bit looking out the windows that looked out into the courtyard

"Haha, you were always a bad liar," Stephen smirked as Lexi mentioned not getting lost. Even he got lost in this huge place. Too bad this place didn't come with like a map or something. That would make things easier for all the newbies here, including Stephen and Lexi.

"Not much, just had to get out of the common room since the first years were all over the place. I was getting a headache already," Stephen shrugged, remembering how he had to push his way through them to get to the forsaken door. No good.

"What about you? Managed to fit everything in the closet?"

"No, don't be," Ari quickly said. The boy sounded nervous...or scared...or on-edge. "I just wanted to see if you needed help up or something." She heard him stand, and moved her head accordingly. His question was strange--she didn't grasp right away what he meant by it.

"I'm...fine...yes. Thank you."

Oh. "Oh!" She laughed, "Oh, yes, sir, I am. I'm just..." She tapped at her dark glasses, "I'm blind."

Evan got out to the corridor to the courtyard, walking a little carelessly and fast as his mind was occupied with thinking about various stuff. Holding a piece of parchment and a quill, he tried to make his way to the courtyards fast, for he wanted to hang out there for a while in the peace. So, he almost hit the little Huffie on his way, hardly stopping himself awkwardly as he came inches close to the girl.

"Oh, sorry!" he said with a kind smile while he got out of her way. Having grown up in the summer way too much, he towered the girl, which made him interpret she was 3rd year at most. Was he really that small at those ages?

Hmmm had the sun set other something because it had suddenly grew shady where she stood. After a moment or so she realized that it want the sun but it was older looking slytherin boy.

Whoa personal space maybe!!!. She didnt know he had almost fallen right on her and nor did she care all she needed to no was why he was standing so close.

"And you are?' she asked a little to rude for her charcter. She was usually the sweetest person you could meet a mile away but now..no to much. She waited for his answer with an eyebrow raised

Taken slightly aback with her response, Evan took one huge step back with a confused and shocked expression. Whoa! And who told the youngsters were cute and easy-going?! Pfft. Nowadays, they thought they had created the world. He had totally been much politer when he was at their age. Someone had to teach them some manners. He had almost falled on her, and she was there demanding to know who he was! If only he was a prefect...

Copying her raised eyebrow now that he was over the first shock, he said "Evan Cartwright, fifth year." He made sure his Slytherin badge was somewhere visible. See? He was both older than her, and he was a snake. Taking his quill to his right hand which also held the parchment, he put his left on his waist while he shifted to his left leg. "And you?" No need to match her rudeness. Maybe she'd learn some manners from him and be politer next time.

Preston nodded his head. "N-n-no." Preston shook his head. "I-I-I'm f-fine, I-I-I j-just f-f-found th-this b-b-bell." Preston told her holding the bell out in his open hand.

Oh. That explained, the dark glasses and the stick. Preston bit his lip. "Is th-that t-t-to h-help y-you w-walk? Th-the st-stick I-I m-mean." Preston asked, he had never met a blind person before, so he wasn't sure what they did to get about.

He realized then that she wouldn't be able to see the bell. He took a step closer and took her hand that wasn't holding the stick and placed it in her hand and closed it around the bell. "I-I-I th-th-think i-i-it's a-a c-cat b-b-bell." He told her. "Wh-what d-do you th-think?" He asked her.

Brittany studied the boy long and hard. She noted his change in demenor but it made no difference to her. She wasnt about to let him imtimadate her becasue he was older. He also flashed his slytherin badge like it meant something to her. Did he not know half the people she knew were in slytherin and not one of them were even the slightest bit of mean so that silent threat just went out the window.

She almost ask the boy who wants to know when he asked her name but she decided she would take the high road and show him why she was placed in hufflepuff. "Im Brittany Lee." she said "And im a first year Hufflepuff. And I see that your in slytherin." she said pointing to his badge. " Do they not teach you guys how to give other people personal space?" she asked rather amused with herself.

Still studying the girl, Evan shifted his weight to his other leg. Man, standing there was tiring. He peeked around her to find a nice place to sit when she finally decided to answer his question. Might as well stand until she was finished, then he would continue on his way to courtyards to write a letter to Mina. Siigh...

He flicked his eyes back at the Huffie. Oh. So she was Brittany Lee, and a first year. He wondered how she found that courage to be so mean to her elder. And she was a Hufflepuff! Shouldn't they be like sweet and obedient? Apparently the Hat was wrong with this girl. He nodded slightly when she pointed to his badge. Good, observant girl. He'd hate to repeat the obvious fact. The next thing she said burst him into a small laughter of shock. Yes, the Hat was very wrong with this girl. She should have been a stupidly courageous Lion. She'd fit there perfectly.

"I'm sorry?" he exclaimed, both of his eyebrows raised now in disbelief. "I don't even know you--I definitely didn't interrupt your personal space." Pfft. Stupid Hufflepuff girl. Yeah, right, he did it all on purpose. He set up this scenario of falling down just to be close to her. Crazy.

"Apparently you know nothing about helping the others." Folding his arms, he eyed the girl. Hmpf. How about that?

Ari could hear the faint tinkling of the bell as the boy moved, and subconsiously counted the number of times he stuttered on each word. That was going to get annoying. Not the studdering, that is, but the fact that Ari couldn't control wether or not she counted. Bah.

"Not exactly," she said, holding out the cane just a bit, "It's just for making sure I don't trip over anything or run into a wall," she laughed. She heard him take a step forward, and heard the bell tinkle softly, and turned it over and over in her fingers. "Seems probable," she said, subconsiously memorizing the bell with her fingers, feeling the small loop where a string was suppossed to be attatched--she even felt the very tiny dent on one side. "Yeah. A cat, or a ferret or, maybe..."

"Is that right." She said a little in skeptic. "well what do you call it because to my knowledge one minute you were not here and the next you were?" She did drop the tone a bit because she was tired of puttig up the effort. It really want in her nature to have to. "And i do not know you either." She stated. ""So Please dont asume what you do and do not know about me?" It was just plain rude of him to try to act like he knew something about her when he just meet her like two minutes ago.

She sighed to herself. "Now Ummm... evan right?" she had heard him th first time but she didnt want him to think she was actually listening to him when he told her a minute ago ."Maybe i missed something and you were there for a reason... I dont know" she said shrugging "But i can say that i apologize for jumping to conclusions... ifff i jumped to conclusion.' she said not forgetting to add emphasises on the if with a nice big smirk.

Evan sighed out of boredom. He couldn't believe that he as actually arguing with a firstie while he had many better things to do. Blah, blah, blah--the girl kept talking. He felt a strong urge to snap her to silence, but held himself. He just had to think of a nice excuse, and go on his way.

His mind was busy trying to find an excuse when his ears caught the word apologise. Did she just apologise? Listening to her carefully now, he smiled. Finally, she had accepted that she was wrong. "I apologise for jumping conclusions too," he said. Maybe she wasn't so bad...

Hummm.

The blonde flicked back her almost-white hair. Bonnie skipped up the corridor. Then she felt out of breath and leaned against the wall. She looked around for any other peeps.

Brittany was a little shocked that he actually apologized also. she did wish it was worded a little differently like "Oh im sorry i was in your bubble" or something of that nature. But she guessed that would have to do for now. "So may i ask you why what really happened to cause this whole misunderstanding?" She knew he probably wanted to get on with his day and not talk to a first year but she felt she deseved and explanation and an explanation she was going to get.

Walking...walking...still walking.

Beck walked around he still hadn't known all of the places at this castle but he was gonna find out because this place was amazing and awesome and it has some pretty amazing people in it! That was just a proven fact. He saw a girl with blonde white hair and smiled. He had met her in the school earlier today or this week. He walked up to her and smiled. "Bonjour Bonnie."

Nikolai liked Trixie. Not only did she give him her utmost attention, she blushed easily, which meant his.. charm was working. Making a lady blush just gave him the tiniest ego boost. After all, he needed his ego boosted after his chat with Mia in the Trophy Room. That girl.. Why was he even worrying about what she thought about him? He was standing in front of Trixie.

"Not unsure." he repeated softly, waiting for her explanation. It was no surprise what her explanation was however. He had only been at Hogwarts for a little bit of time, and not once had he seen any type of training going on. He figured, with the Triwizard Tournament so close, the Headmaster and Professor's would be training their students nonstop. That was not the case, so he understood why Trixie felt she wouldn't be a good Champion. "If you didn't think you vere good enough to ve a Champion, you vouldn't 'ave put your name in." It was true, or Nikolai felt it was at least. She had to have something to will herself to put her name in the Goblet.

Erm. Was putting his name in the Goblet before Beauxbaton's important? Not to him, really, but to Headmaster Zitnik it was. Nikolai didn't care, as long as his name was entered. "No." he answered with a light shake of his head, "Vhat is important is that I entered." And Zitnik should be proud, but, of course, he wasn't.

There was a visible change in Brittany's attitude. Her questions got politer for one, and she didn't plan to kill him anymore. Yeah, that was a huge progress. Unfolding his arms to play with his quill, Evan said "I didn't see you and almost fell over you." Shrug. Simple as that. It was too much of a misunderstanding for that simple event.

Fia began walking towards the grounds, first through the corridor to the courtyard. "So what has been going on while I've been in hiding?" She hadn't been paying too much attention to the new students around the grounds and had yet to even meet them or know what they looked like. "Have you met any of the contestants?"

Miles walked with Fia toward the grounds and shrugged, "Paintball in DADA and the Champions being drawn." He smiled and looked around the grounds finding his eyes going up to the sky every now and then just to make sure that no dragons were swooping down on him. "Umm...well Raiden's one and this girl I met in Diagon Alley who turns out is a Gryffindor Prefect is another. Other than that I haven't a clue."

Wowwww! Fia had missed a lot! "Raiden is in the running as well?" Oh she liked him too but Miles was her first choice because well...she was so well connected to him. "Man I really have been living under a rock." There was so much she'd missed. "Well, I need to find out who all is in the tournament because I told Mr. Masterson I would write something for the paper." She showed her pretty white teeth with a smile.

Miles nodded with a smile, "Yup I was happy about that." Especially since they had become closer friends. He laughed and looked at Fia as they kept walking, "What are you going to write about?"

"Well, I'm going to do a piece on those within the tournament...maybe...it would give me a chance to spotlight one or two candidates as well, like maybe you and Raiden or whatnot." It was interesting to see just how many of the Prefects were within and trying out. "If there is anything interesting going on then I need you to tell me as soon as possible."
