This corridor is a simple, airy hallway with openings to allow in as much sunshine as possible and fresh air. It is an excellent transition from the school to the grounds as it exits out into The Courtyard.

"I find her nice also...But Katie says she's mean and flirty I believe- it was a while ago she told me that...Can we go somewhere else?He asked. What was that about, no one was even near them. Going somewhere else could make them more visible.

"She's not mean! She is flirty, but that's in every girl's nature, right?" she said with a little laugh. "Sure! Where?" she asked as she wondered if he wanted to get away from her or something. She reached up and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks so much." she said again with a tight squeeze, then let go. She hoped that he knew the kiss was in friendliness...after all, he was meant to be with Kurumi.

"Okay! Why are we moving, anyway?" she said with a small laugh. "Every single first year Hufflepuff is like, turning against me. It's tough when I have to walk into the common room and be judged 24/7." she said with a sigh.
"I don't care. I'm not afraid to say anything to her face." she said with a scoff.
"Unless your breaking up with her soon." she said with a giggle. "Did you hear what she was saying to you last night at the lake? She just gets under my skin." she said as she scrunched her nose in disgust.

If it still doesn't seem right, and you still seem intent on Kurumi, maybe , maybe I'll just be girlfriendless until she realizes she likes me...Shouldn't take her too long, right?"He asked, fixing the collar that was now choking him. What if it did take Kurumi long and Katie would do everything to force Adam back into dating her. That made him feel uneasy.

She heard the faint tinkling of a bell--but it was muffled. Someone was holding it--it wasn't hanging from anything. At eighty paces, she stopped, and held the cane parallel to herself. Whoever it was was on the ground...or else were standing in a huge hole in the ground--not likely. She pressed her glasses close to her eyes and cleared her throat. "Pardon me?"

Jack cocked his said to the side slightly, quietly watching as she moved her hair and sat with so much confidence and poise, like she was seriously expecting him to kiss her almost immedietely, as if he couldn't deny a kiss from her. That much was true, he could never say no to a kiss, unless the girl was ugly, but Rhea was far from that. She had changed very much since the time at the ice-cream parlour, where she seemed a lot more innocent, giggly and young. He would say immature but that would be too rude. Jack liked the fast-paced transition. Jack leaned again, becuse he knew she wanted him to make the move yet again, he never understood why girls wanted to initiate it.

Jack stop playing with her hair, letting it cascade past her shoulder again, he didn't want to ruin it, he'd end up tangling it up. He kissed her once again, this time longer, pushing her back a little on the pillar behind her. Parting away from her, he felt accomplished; it was still morning and he'd already kissed a girl twice. What a lovely little life he did lead ... Jack smirked at her. "That's my proof. And you can't deny I am awesome at kissing." He said quietly, winking at her. And if she had anything different to say about his smooching abilities, he'd have to take this higher. Hehe.

Preston saw feet in front of him and his eyes followed them up to find a girl's face in glasses. Preston gave a small smile at her. "S-s-sorry." He mumbled as he slowly stood up bell in hand. He cocked his head to the side and looked at her. Then he noticed a cane in her hand. "Are y-y-you o-o-okay?" He asked as his eyebrows knitted together in confusion. Why would someone be caring a stick in their hand?

The jade-eyed boy walked along the grounds of his new school, in search for his best friend. Stephen had told her to meet him here as soon as she was freshen up from unpacking and such. Which only meant she might be here by next week. But in the meantime, Stephen's eyes gazed around as he waited for Lexi, who was the only person he had patience for. If it were anyone else, he'd just leave without a word.

Fall was a good time of year. Kellen let out a content sigh as he stretched and made his way along the corridor, intent on strolling around outside while the nice weather lasted. Crappy weather and winter seemed to come earlier and earlier each year, and while full-on winter had its perks Kellen wasn't too fond of the transition period. Too often the weather couldn't make up its mind.

Tucking his hands back into his pockets, he started whistling a random tune under his breath. Anyone trying to guess what it was would no doubt by annoyed by the fact that he kept getting distracted by the view out the windows.

Strolling down the corridor, he observed students on their way to do the same. Passing by a student by a window, he stopped, before turning around.

"Good day, Mister Stern. How is the term treating you?" Small talk, to be sure, but he wanted to see how the young man interacted with him.

Kellen looked up from his view out the window and smiled at Professor Kingsley. It's certainly exciting that the Triwizard Tournament is happening this year."

Rhea shrugged at his response. In all truth, they were having a good time together and the kissing was nice, though it was becoming pretty late in the morning and she was sure professors would start walking the corridors pretty soon so she wanted to have as much fun as she could while she could. MM if only he wasn't kissing every single girl at Hogwarts. Bleh she would work on that, though she doubt he would ever stop kissing every girl he met. Good thing for her, being seventeen had knocked some sense into her and she could hide her emotions pretty well for the most part, so even if it did kind of hurt her that the boy she liked was a serial kisser, she could still smile and pretend she's fine. Him leaning in towards her..serial kisser or not, she enjoyed kissing him.

Mmmm Kisses, his kisses. She loved them and this time it was deeper. Se felt herself being pushed gently back until she was resting against the pillars. When the kiss broke she took a little whiel before opening her eyes. Ok Art was a good kisser but rawr! Jack was...he was good. She had to admit that.She slowly opened her eyes and smirked.
"I concur with that statement Riding. You are very good." She adjusted herself on the wall again so she could rest her head against his shoulder for a bit.
"You know, I'm starting to believe you're as awesome as you say....in soem cases."She chuckled.

Preston nodded his head. "Good, good." Stepping over to the boy's side, he also looked out the window. He let a few moments pass as he looked.

"Yes, the tournament should provide ample discussion around preparedness, skill and spellwork. It should be educational, as well as entertaining."

Letting his attention be taken by the others in the hallway, Preston raised his eyebrow as he turned his head. The moment lasted only briefly before he addressed Mister Stern again.

"Will I be seeing you in my lessons again? You did quite well last term."

On Kellen's part, the Tournament would be mostly entertaining. Sure, he'd help Sabel or Raiden if either of them got picked and needed a pit crew, but it wasn't like he'd be the one running around while the audience either cheered or jeered. Not his thing.

He couldn't help but blink at the professor's next question, "Of course I'll be there, sir. I realize this may sound a little biased with you being the one I'm talking to, but Transfiguration is one of my favourite classes. I'm not sure the Ancient Runes teacher will be seeing my face this term, though."

Not if his Ancient Runes OWL was any indication.

Preston smirked, resting his hands on the sill of the window. "Biased? Perhaps. Though, I'd be inclined to overlook that possibility and take you at your word for the moment."

Tapping his forefinger against the sill in thought, curious what it would take for the young man to get around to the letter. He'd thought it odd that the request came in writing.

"Lots of potential in transfiguration. Personal and professional. Any interest in that area, Mister Stern?"

Preston turned away from the window and leaned his shoulder against the wall, crossing his arms in front of his chest and raising an eyebrow, he watched the boy for a reaction.

If Kellen didn't pick up on that as a cue to start talking, the next step would probably have been to transfigure his letter into a bat and hit him with it. Fortunately he did, and nodded with a good deal of enthusiasm considering how he'd just been acting, "Personally, I have a huge interest. I... realize that maybe a letter wasn't... the best way to broach the subject."

He decided a little bit of an explanation was in order, "I'm really not the greatest at talking to professors about personal matters, sir. I had the unfortunate experience of witnessing a professor here drag a student into the lake during winter, and it pretty much killed my enthusiasm for approaching the staff in person. Added to that..."

It took a lot to resist the shrug threatening to pop off his shoulder, and he still didn't suppress it entirely, "I know that a lot of students ask about being an animagus, and judging by the lack of animagi around here I would guess that most aren't that serious. I didn't want my voice getting lost in the crowd."

As casually as he could, Kellen put his hands at his sides and let his robes take in some of the moisture from his palms. Nervous? Only entirely.

The Courtyard?

Now there was somewhere Trixie hadn't been in a while but first she had to wonder through the corridor that led her there. It felt so good to be back, even though by now they had been back a little while, yet so strange with the new students around, that was the first years and those wonderful Durmstrang and Beauxbatons people. Not that Trixie minded one bit. It was great actually. Plus it could mean she could swoon over accents and what not.

The Blonde decided to lean against the corridor wall to stand still for a bit. She had been exploring the ground for a while now and quite frankly heels were not the most sensible footwear for doing so in. But she had anyway, so a little rest would do her feet good. Her head glanced around seeing if she could spot anyone she knew. With no such luck however, she decided to stand there by herself then.

But Trixie didn't do being alone. *Pout*
