Have you brought a warm coat? A winter cloak? A scarf and a pair of mitts? It's bound to get very chilly in the stands. Cheering on the champions might keep you warm, but once they've entered the maze, there isn't much else to do than wait and hope that whatever the champions are facing isn't as bad as what you're imagining.
The hedges are impenetrable, both to sight and to sound. A black wall just beyond the few flickering torches that fill the starting area with uncertain light, they are moving slightly in the wintry breeze and rustling faintly. As there is nothing to see, there is nothing to hear. And which is worse? Complete silence that leaves the champions to an uncertain fate – or loud noises of a struggle?
Whatever the case, there is not much else to do than sit tight and stay warm, and hope that whoever you support makes it first through the eerie maze.
Iris looked around the stands, looking for a friend to sit with.
Nope. Noone!
No Jimbo, No Leilani... Not even any sign of Evan!
Sighing, and giving up defeat, Iris figured that she'd be sat watching the Second task on her own. Again. But then she saw a little first year, one that she'd seen sat on his own in the last task, make his way into the stands and set up camp; with what looked like a book and a flask of something.
That's one smart kid.
Grinning, Iris got up from her seat. And no, she was not going to haggle for some of what ever the kid had in his thermos. No, she was going to keep him company. Because he looked as lonely as he did last time. Especially with how he looked around for someone.
It was saddening, to think that a little kid like him has no friends.
So she climbed through the half-empty bleachers and made her way over to him. When she got to him, she sat down. Right next to him.
Teehee. He was simply ADORABLE! "Hullo, I'm Iris." She said, grinning. "I think you're quite smart; bringing a book along with you." The prefect commented, nodding towards the object in his hand.
Evan arrived at the stands, hoping he wasn't late. Probably he had missed the beginning and all that stuff, but he didn't think he missed much. From what he had heard, it was pretty boring just sitting there, and he didn't think being a little late would be a big loss. Yes, Monique said she would look for him, though it was at the end. Besides, it wasn't like she could see who was who from that range, right? Yeah, everything was fine with his thickest winter clothes available. He didn't even seem to feel the cold that much. The icing on the cake would be a Monique and Raiden win, hopefully.
With his classical Chelsea scarf, the Slytherin looked for someone he recognised. He could see only Iris who was talking to some little kid. Being a prefect, maybe? He didn't want to interrupt such a thing, so he opted to sit somewhere in the middle as he waved to her with a smile. Hopefully this wouldn't be so boring like the first task waiting had been.
Oh, and now it was the other way around again?! Jeremy couldn't suppress a roll of his hazel eyes at Maya. Riiight. "Sure you did. Because white is just...ew, right?" He smirked slightly before leaning in and whispering, as if he were telling her his secret plan of world domination, "You know, it's not bad to be positive about something at times."Hehe.
Leaning back in his seat again, he swiftly wiped at snowflake off the tip of his nose. One could never have enough hats?! "Yeah, well, she thinks you cannot have enough of ANYTHING." It was only then that Maya didn't have a hat...and he had just told her he had about a dozen up in his office. "Oh, I'm sorry, hang on." And with that Jeremy gave his wand a little flick to non-verbally summon one of the many hats from his office. "There you go." He grinned broadly at her while offering Maya the blue hat. Hopefully she liked blue.
City? Oh, she was probably talking about Boston. Boston was the famous city. There even were TV series, like Boston Legal. () "Mhm...I'm not from Boston, though, I used to live in Chelsea." The one in Massachusetts obviously.
She was hestitant about answer too?! Jeremy couldn't help his eyebrows going up slightly as she struggled to answer. "Oh." Well, that was the obvious answer. And there it was...her returning the question. Bleh."Mhm...same here." Sorta. Part of the truth anyhow. He quickly averted his hazel eyes back to the maze as if looking for signs from the champions within.
Hehe. He said 'ew' - oddly, that word sounded funny to the Mexicana. "Yes... 'eu'." Hm, had she said that right? Seeing Jeremy smirk, she couldn't help but copy him, but it wanished and a soft squint appeared. RawRrrr!"Hey, I am positive about things." Oh how she wanted to start lecturing him in spanish. "Being honest is not the same thing as being negative, señor." Señor, indeed. Maya took a deep breath and got more comfortable in her COLD seat. "But yes... I fully agree." She did. But let's not tell the whole world, shall we?
So his sister was a serious shopper, then. Well, if the clothes were good, how could you not buy them. But being brought up in near poverty, Maya knew how to be satisfied with what you had.
Eh? 'Sorry'? For what- Ay, frijoles. What had he summoned?? It took a short moment for her to realise he had a blue puffy hat in his hands, and he was offffffering it to her. It...had a white fluffy ball on the top aswell. Slowly, she reached out and took it. Atleast the little whiteness went with her white coat. "Oh, thankyou Mister Zookara." Any reason she went back to the formalities? "I'll get this back to you afterwards." A soft smile and nod. Unless he was afraid of her cooties. And now...to put it on, yes? She let down her hair from the bun and put the hat on. Yep. Whoever had invented these things was a genius. A smile stretched her face. "Warm." Mmmm, yes.
Chelsea? "Oh, I see." That was beautiful too, she assumed. And he had done the same - somehow it was nice knowing she wasn't the only one away from home. "You miss it?"

Oh crap. Now should he lie here and pretend he hadn't seen the woman, or tell her the truth? More scratching of his neck. “I.. um..” Just LIE, idiot!boy!

Um..
Was that lying!?
o.O
NO! NO IT BLOODY WASN'T!!!
He gave the scary lady an awkward, apologetic smile. He HAD complimented her too, right? She was a great professor.. but she scared the boy. Simple as. He wasn't deliberately trying to be rude.
“I apologise if I seemed rude. It wont happen again.” He looked around at the group surrounding the professor and smiled. “Hey everyone.” He was tempted to bow like the clown he was.. but didn't - thankfully. His brain wasn't THAT dmaged.
He was about to sit when Cam dragged him into the chair which he flopped into rather ungratiously. He gave her a look, his lip slowly curling upwards into a sneer as she started on about him wanting to be a.. 'Potioneer.'
Snicker. But Lafay was having none of it. Wise woman. Wise scary woman. He smirked at Cam then turned his attention back to hedge watching.
Well wasn't this as much fun as you could shake a stick at? [/sarcasm]
She sighed. "I am not unapproachable. I'm here. You approached me, did I turn you into potion ingredients for my next class? No. You haven't as much as lost a point. There are little first year hufflepuffs who know to greet me." She said glaring at him, "and I expect YOU, as Head Boy, to set the example."
There she said it. "Now... Is it true you have an interest in potions?"

She nodded as the quote-unquote invitation to sit was repeated, then took a seat one away from the professor. On the opposite side of where Cam had been before she'd gone to get the Head Boy. No need to cause an issue with seats, and she wanted to think those were reserved. But she turned to look at the professor again as she expressed concern over the view. At least, she thought it was concern. "I think it's as good as possible. We can't really see much more than the entrance of the maze anyway," she said, returning her attention to that as she spoke. At least, that was all she could see. For all she knew the professor could see through the hedges. Which was slightly scary, yet cool. Any way to know what was going on in there.
"Who are you rooting for Miss Kelly," she said trying to make conversation with the girl. Unapproachable my bum!

Bwahahahaha!!
Now THIS was more entertainment then staring at hedges was. The Blonde had literally been giggling her mind off at Oliver, Cammy and Lafay's little mothers meeting going on in the stands. This was hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. And Lafay was threating to take points from Cam and give her detention. Oh goodness, DO IT!! A smirk was plastered right across her face.
Though she should probably rescue Oliver in a moment right? The Sixteen year old tried to get her besties attention. If he wanted an escape just use HER as an excuse, something along the lines of 'she can't be left alone with her Brain damage business.' That could work. Or did he want HER to come over.

Carter's proposition was something she wasn't expecting. Trying to control her excited self, she asked, "What do you mean?"
Snugly and warm inside her Vintage Chanel tweed dress, Brielle strutted her way along the rows of seating looking for a place to sit.
Not at all pleased that she was now on the other side of the stand, Brielle couldn't help but wear a slight scowl on her gorgeous, perfectly structured face. Making sure to watch out for hands, the French girl, stomped her platform skin-calf boots on the wooden floors of the stands, whilst fingering her wand that was clasped in her hands. As she walked past a rather chicly dressed girl, Brielle was amused to hear her cry, "Go Noel and Fletcher!". It seemed she had a fan girl on her hands, but at least she was cheering for Noel.......taking a look at the girl, Brielle could help but smile as she stopped directly behind the girl, and placed her hands on her hips.
"Cosette, j'espère que je n'ai pas entendu que vous vous trompez?" She smiled gleefully, "I am zure I 'eard Go Noel et not Go Fletcher?"
Cosette was immersed with staring at the maze, wondering when she would find some sign that Noel was ok, before realizing she was being talked too. Blinking her gray eyes slowly, she looked up to hear french. Oh, it was Brielle! Though, she didn't look all that pleased, until she flashed a brilliant smile. She normally didn't get along well with girls, but with her.. she oddly felt like she could. That and she didn't want to seem like a total prude to the friend of the guy she is.. seeing.
"Bonjour Brielle," she smiled back up at the girl. She was sharply dressed. "I zee the Chanel lookz good on you." She had always had a strange love for Chanel as well. With going to fancy dinner parties when she was young, she always wore the old fashions more than the new. "Non, you 'eard right. Fletcher waz one of ze firzt friends 'ere at 'ogwarts. I root for 'im too." She couldn't help it. His safety was key to figuring out the rest of their plot against the school, anyways.
She gestured a wave for the girl to take a seat next to her. She couldn't stand all day. "Pleaze, join me." Plus, she can learn a little about Noel and possibly.. dare she say, make a friend? "I know Noel will be alright." Or at least she was planning on him being alright.
Yes she got that sarcasm. She wondered just what happened on that date with Nik and Laur, for whatever reason, Lauren didn't seem as excited as she would expect her to be hmm. She would pry later. "I hope he is too. He's kinda hawt." She winked at her cousin and playfully bumped her with her shoulder. Then she went on about running and what not and she lost her. Well that was random. "Why do you need to start running?" She asked with a puzzled look on her face. Maybe it was to impress Nik or something. She nodded when Lauren finally remembered. "Yeeeah, see I did tell you.And you'll get to meet him soon.Really soon." She laughed and shook her head. Lauren didn't have to worry though, because Rhea had a plan. *smug*
Lauren grinned "Yes he is kinda hawwwt." Oh he was very hot. "Because.. neva mind." She chuckled "Good because I wanna see his face, I bet I have before, he's cute isn' he." She smirked, of course he was.
"No Need..." She said and waved her hand. "Can you see what they are doing down there?" She asked frustrated.
Danika gave her a small nod. That was all.
About the task question, "I am positive I see only vhat you see, Professor" which is nothing that could offer some sort of comfort. Her fingers were tapping her leg again. The only part that could show nervousness, the fingers.

Then there was a boy, the Head Boy, as she heard Lafay call him, and her eyes were on him as he spoke.
And Danika had to agree with him on the 'brilliant teacher' part, because the woman did struggle to teach, especially between exploding cauldrons. The 'unapproachable' part, well, she didn't really care about that.

And she nodded at the response to her explanation. "I think so. Well, I mean, winning is the point. But getting out alive runs a close second," she said, shrugging a little. Not enough to jar Draco around her neck though. She was always aware of her ferret.
And then it seemed they were waiting for Salander to respond to the Whomping Willow stuff, and she sat back before she'd been noticed by Professor Lafay. And she'd had to move. At least she'd still get to watch the task.
Winning. Yes. That sounded so much like Vladimir. Wasn't he going to come and support Nik and Sandra?
Either way, Danika only gave her a small nod, "Right, I forgot avout vinning", that's why she wasn't on the second task, she forgot about the winning part.
The Durmstrang girl eyed the ferret around the girl's neck, yes, she'd noticed it before, but she thought it was only one of those fashions, after all, they did wear fur up north. But then she saw it move.
He'd tried that, no matter how much she could look at the maze it wouldn't disappear or make her see through it. Either way, as long as there were no sounds, Treyen preferred not to see anything...it was like relaxation in the Stands. Something that wasn't going to happen, though.
Raiden? Huh? Treyen didn't hide his disappointment, eyebrows furrowed and all, "Raiden?" like, why? Sure, the boy had been the first one out last time, but that was no insurance of anything. The Huffie boy smiled next, grinned almost, when he replied, "Fletcher, of course, Sir Awesome" Sir Duncan Awesome Fletcher, that one. The Hufflepuff boy made of awesome, got it?
Oh, he noticed, the look towards the book! Treyen looked around first, in case Saylen popped out of nowhere. She does that. "Oh, I have a never ending assignment" he said, almost sighing, "I have to read about Nifflers and find stuff out if I want Phineas back" though, he highly doubted that was happening soon considering it had taken him around 3 months to get a book, Phineas might have forgotten him by now.
Thanks Saylen.
"It serves as a distraction, you know" because he freaked out big time in the first task.
And here came Arya.
Treyen frowned, "Why are you wearing green?" it wasn't just the green, it just seemed as if she was supporting the Slytherin boy. Colors didn't truly matter, after all, he was wearing a purple/blue scarf, but Arya seemed to be supporting someone...other than Fletcher, the Awesome.
Sneaky badger.
He did eye the hot chocolate. Ha. Someone was smart enough to bring hot beverages. Perfect!
Eh, what?
Long time no see. True. Very true, considering the fact that he'd forgotten her name! Oh, he should be ashamed of himself. It was odd, though, because he never forgot a name.
The boy resisted the urge to scratch his head while he thought of her name. But...nothing came to mind. Eek! "Heeey, everything is going great...see...Fletcher is right there" alive, and safe.

She picked up the end of her yellow scarf and waved it a bit. "I'm supporting Fletcher too." In case he thought she abandoned her house. That would never happen.
Noticing him eying her hot chocolate, her frown faded into a grin. "You want some? I can duplicate it..." It wouldn't last long in his stomach, but it would keep him warm while they waited for the champions.
Spotting the younger girl looking at her, she smiled a bit more. "Hey, I'm Arya.-" That conversation, however, did not last long as the young puff heard a familiar voice calling her name.
"Hey, Ivy!!" Grin widening, she gratefully returned the hug from her best friend. "You haven't missed a thing, they just went in..."
She glanced back over to the maze anxiously before turning back to her bestie. Free hand reaching up and flicking a strand of the girl's green and gold hair. "Love the hair." Her eyes caught site of Grayson, and she returned the girl's wave. Peeking back at the maze when she cheered for Raiden and Fletcher.

Tsk. Tsk. Treyen frowned at the scarf even more. She was all green with a yellow spot. That was no fair. Both color should be equal, no? Or no colors at all. He had no particular color. All good.
"I would have never guessed you were supporting Fletcher" no smile.
But he smiled next. "Oh, no, that's okay, thank you Arya" well, not yet. The boy nodded while he answered and then his smile widened. Arya had said the Ravenclaw's name! Ivy! And he knew that was short of something. Yeah, he was good.
Real good. Now he remembered knew the name.

But she smirked at the 'all Hufflepuffs'. Ellie didn't believe you could count the whole house on something. She thought that everyone made their own.
GASP. "Oh no! What happened to it?!" There was a critter in need! Concern was an understatement.
Ellie smiled. "Hi Arya. I'm Ellie." And another girl. Heh. She was still introducing herself, she didn't mind the change of attention. Someone else came. It was onnnllyy polite to say hi to them. Yes? Yes.
Giggling at Arya's comment on her hair, Ivory reached over and tugged a strand of hers. [b]"I like yours too
Having been completely engrossed in the Task, Ivory came out of her reverie and turned back to her companions which is when she noticed there was actually another girl sitting on Treyen's other side. "Oh wow I'm so sorry where are my manners. Hi, I'm Ivy." Smiling cheerily, she tried to tune back into the conversation. "What are we talking about?"

He was sitting amongst Raiden's supporters, that had to be a difficult task, right? Actually, he didn't consider the option in which Fletcher wouldn't take part on any other task. He was thinking about that at the moment...in case that happened, then he'll be most likely to support Raiden as well.
Soooo, truth be told, they were all supporting Raiden either way.
But at the moment, only Fletcher.
Oh, his manners! "Right. Ellie, Ivy, Ivy, Ellie" grin. He knew her name now. Thanks to Arya, of course.
"Umm, skating, and fun stuff...not the Tournament at all" and then Treyen sort of laughed, because it seemed rather strange to be talking about things that weren't particularly related to whatever the Champions were facing in the maze. Unless it did include a skateboard or doing some rollerskating.
"Oh well, this seat is saved for a certain handsome Gryffindor",Fee smiled up at her boyfriend,"oh wait thats you."
Removing her bag from the seat she laughed a little. Sometimes she was just silly.
"Well, as soon as possible", she chuckled,"they are dyyyyying and keep telling me how bad i am for not introducing them to you."
Something in Edmond's eyes told her he was afraid.
"Dont be scared",she smiled taking his hand," they will loooove you."
Fee couldnt help but smile at his comment.
"Oh man", she happy sighed," i really got the best boy by my side.Couldnt blame people for being jealous."
So true, if all the girls knew what of a great guy Edmond were they would be like suuuper jealous.
"Its not payback its just the effect we have on eachother", she chuckled a little.
That was so true, Edmond had such a hufe effect on Fee. She always felt happy and complete around him. he made her feel calm and all her problems seemed like so far away.
"So maybe i should cheer for the Cameron, cause there is this one Gryffie i adore", she winked back at him.
Edmond chuckled and without another word he happilly took the seat beside Feenella.
"That bad," Ed gulped. Her friends were definately going to rate him or something. Okay, that wasn't so bad, was it? Was he looking good today...you know, to make a good first impression on them.
Edmond sighed in slight relief. They would love him, that was good, but then there was always that one person that thought differently than the others.
"No, I have the best girl." he said like if it was obvious. She deserved every nice compliment that was out there.
Edmond chuckled, "I like this effect." he said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Nah, Slytherin champion," he smirked, jokingly. "After all that Gryffie you adore is a Slythie at heart." he said, smiling. Did that even make sense.

"Well... how do you feel about the Tri-Wizard tournament being held this year?" He, himself, was a bit nervous about it considering everything that's happened at the school the past few years. "Nervous? Excited? Anything in particular?" he asked getting his quill ready.

Iris looked away from the very quiet first year when she saw a shade of blue find a seat a little while away from her. And it wasn't a Ravenclaw blue. Smirking, she was completely unsuprised to see that it was Evan sporting that not-very-sexy Chelsea scarf.
Grinning as he waved to her, Iris waved back. Then she made a 'c'mover here you fool!' motion with her hand. Just as she was about to yell over to him though, someone yelled over to her.

Heh.
Spinning her head round after hearing the name "Monty", Iris expected to see Jimbo. She didn't acknowledge that it was a girl's voice, though. When she saw that it was Leilani, Iris frowned a TEENSY bit, but then grinned brightly.
Sure, Leilani wasn't Jimbo... but she was just as crazy. Only concentrated. " 'LAAAANI!" The prefect waved back, and grinned at her when she came over and sat next to her. "Have you seen Jimbo?" She was expecting him to be here already, sat with a GIANT banner that flashed between green and pink, with 'GO RAIDEN!' written on it. But no, he wasn't here at all.
As Leilani spoke to the really quiet first year, Iris shrugged. She didn't know who the boy was. He hadn't spoke to her.

"You don't? Wow. Sorry, i thought you did," Kita said. She laughed at Carter's next comment. Now that made sense. "So you want to be famous and have people chasing after you?" she asked.
"Well, this is something new. Like, i enjoyed Quidditch and i was pretty sad about it not being there this year but the Tournament is something that the whole school can get together in and it makes you forget about the rivalries between the houses. Sort of," she said, rambling as usual, "I guess, i'm both nervous and excited about it. Change is something i like and you get excited about the possibility of something new. But then again, there are all those stories of people dying," the image of Cedric Diggory flashed in front of her eyes but she continued, "And that makes you a bit scared for the champions. And i don't know what else to say." It was then that she noticed his quill and said, "Hey, that was very smooth! You're good!"
Fee smiled at Edmond as he sad down.Being around him was just her fave thing. He would never get tired of it.
Never.
"There is nothing to worry about",she told him encouraging,"really you are the best there is nothing they could say.And besides that there is no chance to not like you."
Fee did really know noone that didnt like Edmond. How could you?
He may be shy at the beginning but he was all caring and funny.
She giggled slightly at his comment. He always let her feel special and somewhat perfect.
"I like that effect, too", she said laughing.
There was it again. They didnt even need to do anything it just happend.
"Awwww, a Slythie at heart", she smiled,"well, then we should cheer for Raiden, together."
Disappointed could be read on her face, but he had no idea what she was disappointed at, and he didn't feel like asking?
There were other question that were asked, and needed answers. The boy sighed, "I think you'll understand it more if you tried it" because he was getting nowhere? "If we think of brooms as wood that flies it's pretty much the same, but that's not the point...it's the feeling of freedom, and the air on your face" that's what he was comparing it to, not the literal 'skateboard' thing.
He could laugh, but he wouldn't, this was serious business. "No, well, yes, like a bike, but you don't slide..." oh, but...blink, blink, blink...evil grin, "...now that you mention it, sliding on it would be even more fun" they should definitely try that.
"I don't, but we could" haha, that would be fun, sliding down hill, mmm, does Hogwarts have dangerous hills? Because they should skip those.
The boy grinned, "It should be" they still hadn't gotten to the point of trying out the rollerskating part.
"Skating, Arya" he replied, with a smile, surely Arya had plenty of things on her mind to be able to keep up with his conversation with Ellie.
"Oooh, okay." The feeling of being on a broom. Well, that made much more sense. Because, she was pretty sure that nothing could really compare to a broom, literally. Even a mop.
Ellie studied his face for a moment. It changed. Heh. She gave him an ideaaa. Smirk. "I know, I'm brilliant." Hold applause, please.
"You all should find some hills, then." Heh. Brilliant idea.
She turned to Arya. "And sliding." she added to Treyen's answer. Skating AND sliding. And both sounded like fun.

"Oh wow I'm so sorry where are my manners. Hi, I'm Ivy." Smiling cheerily, she tried to tune back into the conversation. "What are we talking about?"

Treyen doubted it.
Ellie opened her mouth to introduce herself....but Treyen had already. So... cue smile. "Nice to meet you, Ivy."
She rolled her eyes. "I wish we could talk about the Tournament." But it was so hard to. They couldn't seeeee anything, see. They couldn't possibly know what to even talk about.

Grinning as he waved to her, Iris waved back. Then she made a 'c'mover here you fool!' motion with her hand. Just as she was about to yell over to him though, someone yelled over to her.

Leilani pulled her scarf tighter around her neck and shook her head.
"Nope. Sorry." Heh. That's right, Monty and Jimbo were like... you know what, nevermind. She wasn't going to discuss it, not even with herself in her little teeny messed up brain.
*cough*
yes, I am aware of the fact that you are still here mhmm
shut up.
She glanced up at Iris' banner before smirking slightly. Okay, so yes Raiden was in Slytherin and he was their prefect-- but she was still rooting for Fletcher.

She rolled her eyes. "I wish we could talk about the Tournament." But it was so hard to. They couldn't seeeee anything, see. They couldn't possibly know what to even talk about.
Aha! She was! "No wonder you're a Ravenclaw" he joked, laughing only a bit. But, in reality, yes, her idea was a very good one. Sliding. Why didn't he think of that?!
Hills. "Absolutely! And we should probably do that soon...." his eyes were now keeping track on the maze. For a moment there he thought he saw something. Must have been his mind playing tricks on him, because there was nothing there. Nothing at all...just...a maze.
"Ellie!" he said, eyes focusing on her again, "We should slide while winter's here...much more slippery than spring" true, so very true.
If only they could talk to the Squid and slide into the lake...er, on second thought, maybe not.
Sliding on hills, snow covered hills...the skate was for spring.
He eyed the maze once more, "What do you think they could find there? I mean, besides everything that was found in Harry Potter times" because everyone knew that, right?
Brittany Grinned the best she could"Yeah I thought my presence would be a nice good luk charm.' she said jokingly Feeling a slight bit warmer. She also had other things to get her warmer She took out to big Mugs that keeps your drinks warm, Like coffee or hot chocolate. In this case it was hot chocolate. She handed one to her friend while trying to put a face to the ravenclaw prefect. "I cant seem to place a face with the prefect. But Im sure he'll give it back" hopefully. she said with a small smile
"since when did you become a good luck charm?" Emmaleigh laughed. "If it works, I'm going to make sure you are with me all of the time." She said grinning at Brit. "So who are you pulling for? You know, so I can tell if you are lucky or not." Em assumed she would be pulling for Fletcher the Champion from Hufflepuff, but she wasn't sure. For all Emmaleigh knew, Brit might actually know one of the champions, and be pulling for them. "Thanks," She said, accepting the hot chocolate, and giving a sheepish grin. "I didn't even think of warm cocoa to keep me warm" She took a small sip, being careful not to burn her mouth. "This is really good. Did you make it, or did you get it from the kitchen?" "Um, I'm not really sure how to describe him." Emmaleigh thought a minuite about how to describe the Ravenclaw prefect, and all she could think of was, "He has brown hair, and is maybe average height. He is just, well, average. And I hope he does give it back to me, but i'm not sure he would even remember my face. I mean, I'm sure he had a lot more important things on his mind than remembering who had given him the blanket. "

Ellie bit her lip and gave a small smile. That was quite flattering. She didn't exactly consider herself smart... Crafty, maybe.
Oh! Idea. "We could aguamenti a path on a hill, have it turn to ice. That would make it more slippery. But we'd leave the snow at the end light and fluffy for a soft landing." Yessss.
But she noticed the boy looking at the maze, and she jerked her head in that direction. "What's there?" she squinted and still couldn't see anything...
And then he said her name, which made her look back. Bad attention span. "Mhmm." she said, nodding. That made sense.
She turned to look at the maze again, as he did. What was he looking at?! "I have no idea... traps, dangerous creatures..." Like acromantulas? Shudddddder. "Oh Merlin, I hope their being safe..."

And so did Lexi.
"I told you already." She commented lightly, sipping coffee as her eyes strayed away for a moment to see if any of the Champions had come out yet. "Remember? It's that." Cryptic, yes, BUT, Lexi knew all about it by now.
Ahh.
So it was that. Lexi had a feeling it was, but then again, you never could be sure unless you asked. "Hmm, things must be going really well," she commented. Lily had always been a pleasant person to be around, but it was almost like she was...on cloud nine million now. "Well, it's good to see you happy."
As she grew colder and colder, Lexi casted a warming charm to shield herself from the cold weather. Ugh. She missed the weather from earlier in the school year, when it wasn't too hot or too cold.
"since when did you become a good luck charm?" Emmaleigh laughed. "If it works, I'm going to make sure you are with me all of the time." She said grinning at Brit. "So who are you pulling for? "I was born one along with my special witchy powers." she said winking. Okay the good luck charm maybe not true but her powers were *grin*. She also took a sip of her Chocolate before answering Em's next question. "Well im more of team hogwarts because i didnt really know any of the champions. But dont get me wrong if Fletcher wins I probably will be struting around like I knew him or something." she said laughing. It would be so Great if the Huffie wins the tournament. She smiled as Em said her coco was good. "Thanks. I made it, The rents sent it back with me when i came back from Christmas Break." Which remind her she needed to write them a nice long thank letter. She listened to Em Descibe the boy but it still was no help. She just didnt know who he was. "Well if he doesnt remember you and find you to return it, we'll just have to find him"' she said winking again and nudging her.
Professor Lafay and Danika (Yes, Grayson has yet to learn Oliver's name. xD)
Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict
As the professor had been talking to Cam and the Head Boy, Grayson had sort of assumed she could go back to simply watching the maze for anything that might happen. Not to mention she was keeping her ears open for any noises that might make it up to them in the stands. Even if they were as nerve-wracking as everything they'd heard during the first task, it would at least tell her something of what was going on in there. But she blinked as she heard her name again, and turned to Professor Lafay. "Me? I'm rooting for Hogwarts. Well, both Raiden and Fletcher, but yeah. Hogwarts," she said. Thinking about her t-shirt, which wasn't really visible with her parka all zipped and fastened up. Although she was also still sort of quietly rooting for Noel, as he'd been nice to her when they'd met at the feast. But she wasn't going to mention that to anyone, let alone the professor.
And then she heard Danika again, and turned to her with another tiny shrug. "That can happen. It's sad, but it can happen." It kind of seemed like the red-headed Durmstrang girl was a bit disappointed in herself for not making it to the second task. Maybe it was because their headmaster was kind of terrifying. A bit like her fear of Professor Lafay, really. But then, she'd just met the other girl, so she didn't know. And her eyes widened as she noticed how Danika was eyeing Draco, not knowing if it was a bad thing or if the other girl was interested. "My ferret?," she asked, surprised. Apparently maybe it had been interest, but she was still nervous having him around the professor. "He's Draco. I named him after Draco Malfoy." She didn't know if Danika was aware of the old stories, but at least she could explain that much. Even if she'd named the ferret that more because of her like of the stories about Mad-Eye Moody, and even though that specific story was even not really about him. That just seemed too complicated to explain to the older girl without feeling stupid.
