Excitement fills the frigid winter air as the start of the Third Task looms near.
Did you bring a heavy winter coat or cloak? Did you remember to wear your thick House scarf, a pair of mittens and even a hat to keep your head warm? Did you remember to bring loud noise-making devices and banners to hoist in the air?
Cheering on the champions might keep you warm, but once they've entered the strange circular maze, there isn't much else to do than wait and hope that whatever the champions are facing isn't as bad as what you're imagining.
The snow-topped hedges are impenetrable, both to sight and to sound. A black wall just beyond the few flickering torches that fill the starting area with uncertain light, they are moving slightly in the wintry breeze and rustling faintly. As there is nothing to see, there is nothing to hear.
NOTHING.
And which is worse? Complete silence that leaves the champions to an uncertain fate – or loud noises of a struggle? But there is one lingering doubt hidden in the back of your mind that you and no one else dares to speak - will this be the task where red wand sparks will light up the sky because a champion is in serious distress and will they make it out . . . alive?
While waiting for the first champion to emerge from the maze, there is not much else to do than sit tight, stay warm, say a few cheers, do the wave, and catch up on the latest gossip.

"Yes..." She said putting her bat over her shoulder, "Staff Table?" She asked.

She turned and looked at the professor. "Sure... why not." She said and stood straight.
pssshaw Noel, Fletcher already had a taste of Cosette, FOR YOUR INFORMATION. ;)

Yeah, Rae knew that grin. Fletcher must've forgotten it was still Rae he was talking to. Nonetheless, he nudged over a SUPER SICK REFLECTING SHIELD! "Duuuuuuddddeeeee. Sick." Rae exclaimed as she picked up the shield and held it up like she was a mighty warrior or something. Psh, in her mind she WAS a mighty warrior. This shield fit her perfectly!
It also reminded her of what SHE needed to do, she should tell Fletcher as well. "Oh, make a mental note that we need to thank professor Kingsley... Especially you." Look! He transfigured a mirror into a greek shield!

Whew. The debate had been so heated this time, and it took quite a long time for the three judges to come to an understanding. Of sorts. It had been a very tight race.
Finally, Tate moved to the front of the crowd and held up his hands for attention. "The last task was hotly contested, but we have finally come to a decision. First, let me say that all 12 of our champions were amazing, and that our final three have performed admirably all through the tournament. I'm proud of how everyone has behaved and competed, and I hope we will have an equally amazing tournament in a few years."
He waited a moment to be sure everyone was hearing before continuing. "I'm proud to announce that this year's Triwizard Champion, with a total of 382 points, is Duncan Fletcher. The final scores were closely contested, with Raiden Kururugi receiving 373 points and Noel Laurent receiving 366 points. Please join me in a round of applause for all our champions."
Before anyone could really begin to clap, Tate raised his hand one last time. "And in honor of our champion and really... all the champions, we will be holding the awarding of the Triwizard Cup at an End of Term costume ball. Get your costumes ready, and we will be celebrating in style in a few days. And now... our champion."

Lexi blushed deeper still when Fletcher winked at her. If she didn't have a wonderful BF she have actually swooned for the champion. Maybe. Okay... she probably would have. Hehe.
She even chuckled a little when he said he didn't like chickens. At least she wasn't the only one. Everyone else at Hogwarts seemed to have some crazy chicken fixation. It was truly unhealthy.
Nodding her head at Fletcher she gave him a pat on the shoulder. Yeah, he was an alright guy. She REALLY hoped that he...
Ooooo it was the Tatertot.

OMG... Beaming she turned to Fletcher and hugged him again. "CONGRATS!!" she exclaimed. Then... really o_O Another ball. Great. Just great. Shaking off the thought of that particular atrocity she released Fletcher from the hug and began to clap wildly for the CHAMPION. WOOOOT!

Fletcher was about to agree with Rae about the shield, because he was SO gonna hafta brag to all of his Professors about using what they had taught him, when the Headmaster stepped up and spoke. And when Tatertot addressed the crowd you had better listen up.
The boy's ears perked up instantly as he began his usual speech about the greatness of all the champions (true), his pride in how they had all behaved (er, really?) and the hotness of the last round (true, true, Fletcher was exceptionally good looking and so were the other champs).
But then he announced the results and the Hufflepuff was temporarily rendered speechless. His mouth dropped open slightly as he took a few frozen minutes to digest the news.
He had won. He had WON. Fletcher HAD WON the TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT!
He had battled from behind and now HE was THE champion! And they were having a costume ball in his honor and he really, really couldn't be more pleased. Well only if he had the supposed prize money in his hand... that could only make this moment slightly better....
Stepping forward, Fletcher picked up his shiny shield and slung it over his arm. He beamed so broadly his face started to hurt and of course he waved around to all of his adoring fans and possible disgruntled spectators, swishing his hair to and fro as he gazed lovingly at the crowd. "Thank youuuuu, thank youuuuuuuuuuuu," he called out, blowing kisses and tossing winks toward the ladies in the audience.
At last he turned toward the Headmaster with his hand out for a shake. "And thank you, sir, for such a fantastic, challenging opportunity. I couldn't have asked for better competitors than my fellow champions."
He wanted to add something at the end there about them all being winners since... none of them had died, but decided against it since the cheesy factor was probably already over the top as it was. Still....
FLETCHER HAD WON!!!!! WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!

Sal had a ton of questions but bah... who cares about that now. OMG!!!!!
Ability is nothing without Opportunity | | Creativity is Intelligence having FUN
Salander nodded at Fletcher's recounting of the Triwizard Task. A cocka-wha? he wondered silently. Whatever it was it sounded nasty and the Slytherin lad was all the more impressed with how they defeated it with a rooster. Or rather roosters.
But before the lad could get any other questions the Headmaster called for their attention to announce the winner. And he said the name.
Duncan Fletcher.
Duncan Fletcher.... his buddy, GlitterPuff Extraordinare Duncan Fletcher?
How many other DuncanDonut Fletcher does he know?
The whoop from the crowd was deafening, but to Salander it was like a distant echo. Finally it hits him He won.....
HE WON!!!
WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!! Salander hooted belatedly, clapping and giving the celebratory whistle like its nobody's business. Congratulations Fletcher! TriWizard Champion HOOO-AHHH!!!

OHHHHH MERLIN!!!!!!!!! Rae couldn't even fathom her joy for Fletcher, it was unbelievable! Actually... It totally was, because Rae didn't see anyone else winning the tournament but him! She wanted to jump up and hug her best friend again. However he needed to talk with the Headmaster. So he went and bear hugged his other best guy friend. "HE DID IT!!!!!!!" Rae screamed whilst totally bear hugging Sal. "I sure hope you found out how to get that firewhiskey by now... We are going to celebrate!" No really, Sal better have found out how to get that Firewhiskey. Rae didn't want to get it.

Brittany waited the whole task silently and patiently. She didnt know any of the champions personally she was just team hogwarts/hufflepuff... She just wanted one of her fellow students to win but it would make it een better if a fellow hufflepuff won. She then perked up as she saw the headmaster approached and she listened for the winner intently....
And the winner was.... THE HUFFLEPUFF CHAMPION. Can you say aaa--mazing. She couldnt wait to get back into the common room. It probably was going to be a zoo. It didnt even matter that they werent going to win the house cup. Pfft they won the champion. Take that Slytherin *evil grin*
Emmaleigh was slowly making her way down the stands when she heard the Headmaster begin to speak. She stopped her descent, crossed her fingers, and listened. Her brain quit working as soon as Tate announced the winner. She didn't know who had come in second, and she didn't hear about the fancy dress party. All she knew was Fletcher had won the Triwizard tournament. "YESSS!" she yelled, and ran as fast as she could down out of the stands which turned out to be a big mistake. Her foot slipped on the last step, and she fell on the ground. "Oooff" she would have been concerned, if this didn't happen all of the time. Quickly, she examined herself for injuries. Her ankle was a little sore, and her hands hurt from the impact with the ground, but that was all.

She stood back up, and headed over the Fletcher, THE Hufflepuff Champion. Forgetting the fact that she didn't even know him, she ran hobbled up to him, and wrapped her arms around his waist, and gave him the hug that only a little girl can give. She let him go, and looked up at him. "You did it!" she said grinning. "Your alive and you WON!"
"Yes..." She said putting her bat over her shoulder, "Staff Table?" She asked.
She turned and looked at the professor. "Sure... why not." She said and stood straight.
With the winner announced, Kimber sought out Fletcher with her eyes and gave him a congratulatory bow of her head. He had done splendidly and Hogwarts was victorious. "Excellent job," she mouthed, beaming at him.
...
"Staff table sounds fine," she answered, turning back to face Hecate. She nodded cordially to the other professor as she joined them and bent down to say 'goodbye' to Jeremy before exiting the stands.

From her seat, wherever she'd actually sat, Lori had turned to face where people were gathering, and SMILED. They were alive, and well.... Chickens weren't that bad, were they? But by heck, the prefect was smiling. Made her proud. That she was like... You know. Attended the same school as two, in the same house as one. PROUD. If she was a man she'd puff her chest out, and do one of those man nods.
But she wasn't, and she DID have glitter. Hehe!
And then Headmaster Tate was speaking, and people were silent for a moment, and then.... JAWS WERE DROPPING! And people were squealingand attacking a certain puff.
"Immature people'" Couldnt they atleast have waited for HER?! She did have a badge, thank you very much.
Within moments of the announcement, she'd left her seat and was BOUNDING through people with several 'Excuse ME's and a few 'Move it's. Soon enough she was near enough to Fletcher!Puff, and she just GRINNED.
Then might have broke into a bit of a run and jumped at him. Whoopsie? Hehe. Never mind the other people who were clinging to him. SHE, was Lori Bristol. And she was a PUFF! And she totes had claimage over this WINNER!
"Darnit. Forgot the glitter. Oh. Nevermind. YAY FLETCER!" Not like it was in anybody's ear or nothing.

Hecate turned to hear the verdict... Fletcher? Pukeboyglitterpuff? Not her own Kururugi? Her eyes narrowed and then, without looking at the Hufflepuff she said "Congratulations, Master Fletcher..." At least it was still Hogwarts who won.

Brielle had been running late, a lot lately. She blamed it on the whether, even though the coldest of winter was passing, she still found the British climate much to cold. Plus she had gotten lost again, so that did help
It was lucky she had pack a vast array of clothes, and was still recieving weekly owlings of clothes from home. Deck out from head to toe in vintage Fur, Brielle was rather embarrassed to see that all three champions had already exited the Third Task. But she was definitely pleased to see that Noel was safe and sound, and that his eyebrows were still as perfect as ever!
Making her way over to congratulate him, Brielle had to weave in and out of the all the students that had rushed down to greet the champions. Finally arriving at his side, Brielle went to open her mouth, when the Headmaster of Hogwarts spoke up.
Brielle was instantly filled with the same feeling that she had experience when she was evicted from the tournament. Noticing that her eyes were damp, she turned to Noel, and hugged him. "You will alwayz be ze Winner in my eyez!" Noel was like a brother to Brielle, and to see him miss out so close to the end was devastating!
However Brielle was also a gracious loser, so she made a mental note to seek out Fletcher and Raiden. BUt now there were more pressing matters like Noel.........and the Ball!
Tapping the side of his legs as he took step by step towards the stands behind the other two champions, his eyes roamed the area for people in particular. Of course, looking for friends and such, but perhaps also a certain head of blond hair? Perhaps.
It seemed that Flipper was definitely worried about by that one girl. Death-grip hug? At least it was better to die that way instead of that thing in there. Back there. Behind...them. Moving to the side so he wasn’t trampled on, Noel smiled before turning his attention back to the stands.
It was, really really nice to be out of that maze. Especially after that last part. He still was a teeny bit shaky because of it. But they were out!
They survived! Yaaayyyy…now make the maze go away!
"Noel!" Monique yelled excitedly running over to him. She gave him a fierce hug. She then took a step back and looked him over. She was pleased with how he looked. She smiled and then kissed each of his cheeks. He was alright. He was alive.
And most importantly - he was not a statue.

Monique smiled. "Mine as well." she said. "Plus you are easily the most charming. And that is way more important." she added with a little giggle.
Yes. It was the most important. Ask anyone.
Then she realized something. The Hogwarts' Headmaster mentioned a ball. "Ohh... what are you going to wear Brielle?" she asked immediately turning her attention to her other classmate.
Wait... where was Jermaine? Had he really just missed this?
From her perch at the top of the stands Melanie could make out three figures on the grass below. It may have taken her a second or two to figure out what exactly was going on, had the crowd not exploded at the sight of the three champions exiting the maze. Exhilarated by the amount of noise in the stands and the feeling of knowing, for sure, that all three students had emerged alive, Melanie rose eagerly to her feet and clapped herself blue in the face, grinning like an idiot and a happy idiot at that.
Then her eyes turned to Headmaster Tate, listening, quite attentively, as he announced the results of the task, after a few sentimental words for the champions. The anticipation was nearly killing her...
And then he said it.
Melanie's jaw might have dropped a little, but she still wore a toothy grin on her face. "Fletcher WON!" State the obvious. Check. Melanie spotted Fletcher in the stands and didn't waste any time walking down to where he was standing, a bit of a skip in her step. And for a good reason too!
SPOILER!!: Fletcher

Aww.
He looked so happy... waving and blowing kisses and whatnot. Melanie stood a few feet from him, idly at first, watching as a (few?) Hufflepuff girls came up and hugged him. Now that she was down there, she wasn't exactly sure what to do...
...But that was silly. Rather than standing there like a dummy, Melanie stepped forward to speak to the champion. "Congrats, Fletcher! You did awesome, from what I saw and I was... I was hoping you would win." She smiled softly, continuing. "And you're okay too." Yaaaaay, no deaths!
Mmmhmm, whatever...Treyen had been so busy with the two marshmallows he never got to use, that he placed them in a clean tissue and saved them for later. His mind totally linked this with Melanie, when at the first task she'd taken out everything in her pockets and a chocolate frog came out. Haha. Where was that girl?
Either way, no one was telling him who'd won, he was just seeing the Champions there and totally resisting the urge to go an congratulate Fletcher for not dying on his House. And him.
He was going to complain about the time it was taking the judges to announce Fletcher as the winner but then...

Oh my Gilderoy! Headmaster was speaking! Speaking he was! The boy rolled his eyes, why did he have to talk about the 12 people who entered, that was no important!
Treyen tried to listen to the unimportant part of the story speech, until...
...blink, blink, blink.
The boy literally stopped breathing.
Sir Fletcher?
Perhaps a very small part of him believed him not to win, and that's why he wasn't reacting to the news just yet, perhaps he half-expected someone else to win, instead of Sir Awesome. Yes, he supported Fletcher, but that didn't necessarily mean that he expected him to win...confusing much?
A few minutes, which seemed like hours to the boy, passed by and he was still seating in the exact same position he was when the Headmaster announced the most amazing news ever! Why was he still seating...and possibly having the most confused expression ever instead of at least yell some congratulations back to their Champion? YES! Their Champion, because Fletcher was a Hufflepuff.
...blink, blink.
A smile was slowly making an appearance in the boy's face as he finally took in the news. Fletcher was now a Tri-Wizard Champion. That's as awesome as he could get.
At least this year.
Without even telling Arya that he'll be back, the boy ran away from where he stood and up to wherever Fletcher was.

A beaming Lockhart made his way to Sir Awesome and stood right in front of him. Who cared if Headmaster Tate was somewhere near the Champion? He was NO Champion, therefore, Treyen had no interest in speaking to him. Right now.
But...he was speechless. Treyen couldn't speak. Like, literally. He was only smiling, and he could only think that this is probably how he'll look when placed in front of his all-time hero, Gilderoy Lockhart. Except, this was no Gilderoy Lockhart, it was only Fletcher, but close enough.
"Champion" was all he could muster, while holding a wide smile on his face.
Hogwarts Hufflepuff had won. And all thanks to Fletcher. The boy who was no Diggory. Ha.
Oh, lookit! There was Melanie! But he had no eyes for the girl, yet, he wanted to see THE trophy. Because there was a trophy, no?
Monique smiled. "Mine as well." she said. "Plus you are easily the most charming. And that is way more important." she added with a little giggle.
Yes. It was the most important. Ask anyone.
Then she realized something. The Hogwarts' Headmaster mentioned a ball. "Ohh... what are you going to wear Brielle?" she asked immediately turning her attention to her other classmate.
Wait... where was Jermaine? Had he really just missed this?
"And ze mozt attractive!" Brielle laughed, pinching Noel's cheek! What it is true!
Brielle knew the first person to ask her what she would be wearing, was Monique! "I 'ave a few ideaz, but I am going to 'ave look through all my clothes and also write to maman!" The French girl smiled, before adding, "But I will look just as attractive as you Noely!"
Turning to Monique, "What will you be wear mon ami?" the girl smiled, "and more importantly who will be on your arm?"
The Flying Professor got to his feet and walked down to the edge of the stands so that he could view the landscape of what SHOULD be perfectly growing grass on a smooth surface marked with distinct white lines.
"Baby, I'm gonna fix you up and treat you better than ever before!" he said in a voice loud enough for others to hear because he wanted the ground of his beloved Pitch to hear him. "I'll get you the best fertilizer and a state-of-the-art watering system, and use that new spell for trimming the grass so that it's perfect. Oh, and I'll make sure that the weeds stay at bay. If I see one, then the students will get a lesson in proper weed-pulling techniques."
He paused.
"I've missed you! Have you missed me?"
The answer that Vindictus received was the wind whistling around the stadium.
Yes, the Flying Professor missed his grass and his glorious pitch.

Smiling, his ears perked up when the Hogwarts Headmaster started to speak. RIGHTO! The champions! Suddenly being very nervous once more, he held Cosette close and waited…
Oh. His smile faltered a bit, though it was still evident on his face. It was disappointing to hear that he came in third, though he sorta expected it after his performance in this last task. Clapping anyways for the other champions, Noel barely heard something about a costume ball before there was someone else hugging him.

However Brielle was also a gracious loser, so she made a mental note to seek out Fletcher and Raiden. BUt now there were more pressing matters like Noel.........and the Ball!
"Merci, Brielle." He muttered back as he hugged her close, feeling quite defeated. Third? It was better than nothing he supposed.
Pulling back, he smiled an extra charming smile before glancing around. Right. Now what? Could they go inside? He’d rather go back inside and curl up somewhere with a book. That sounded rather nice at the moment. Or sleep. He needed a lot of sleep.

Monique smiled. "Mine as well." she said. "Plus you are easily the most charming. And that is way more important." she added with a little giggle.

Oh! He was nooot expecting this hug! Then again, he had not seen Monique until now. "Monique." He chuckled, hugging her close, his grin actually turning normal. It was nice to have his friends around and all HAPPY. Made him forget that he actually lost somewhat.
"Merci beacoup." Well he got this far! That…had to count for something, oui? Bahaha! "Well I am not going to argue wiz you on zat." Most charming? He could live with that.

Cringing away from his cheek being pinched, he chuckled again as he rubbed the now sore spot. Merci Brielle, for that. His cheek was probably red now.
"Merci…" he murmured, lowering his hand listening to the talk about the costume ball. He had no idea what he’d be. Or if he was even going. Perhaps sleep through it? But, that would be exceptionally rude, and…well bugger. He had to go then.
Then again, that meant dancing lessons with Cosette? The last times they have hung out, they were distracted one way or another. But, would she dance with a third place champion? Hmmm...
Turning to Monique, "What will you be wear mon ami?" the girl smiled, "and more importantly who will be on your arm?"
Monique laughed. "Oh, if only I knew." she said. "You know that I change dresses at least three times the day of any ball."
It was true. Monique looked great in everything. It was so hard deciding what one thing to wear.
"That is a very good question." she said thoughtfully. "Perhaps it would be considered rude if we were to dance with just one person..." she thought out loud. Yes, that was a very fitting excuse for she had no idea who would ask her.

Oh yes. Noel was still there wasn't he? Monique always got so distracted when anyone mentioned balls and dresses. Even the tri-wizard tournament couldn't keep her focused.
"Good. Because it is true." she said. "Plus, who else gets to walk back to the castle with beautiful French girls?" she asked tossing her hair. Oh yeah. She and Brielle were perfect for boosting male egos.
Fina had been staring out onto the maze . . . the former pitch . . . semi-listening to her surroundings, but yet completely focused, when someone spoke to her and warmed her right side slightly but taking the seat next to her.
Noting the familiarity of the blond colleague, she gave a small return smile to her friend. "Yes, it is nice for it to all be over now." They could put that danger behind them and note that NO ONE DIED! Which means they've broken the curse of death during the triwizard tournament.
Nice?
Understatement of the tournament!
"It's been interesting," Di grinned. "But yes, I really am glad it's over." She hadn't breathed properly, during this last task. Knowing that a cockatrice loomed at the end of the maze had only complicated matters. Thank God all the students had ended up... intact.
In fact... "I could do with a hug, right now." The remark definitely had something to do with all the champion!hugging going around, at the moment. If hugs could make the champions feel better, they should be able to make her feel better too, no?

It had taken... quite a bit of doing. Considering the other two. At least, that was what Raiden believed. He was sure they would have made it out themselves, without working together, but it might not have been in a good way. This was better, yes. [/COLOR]

Di had no time to respond to either Champions. Because the Headmaster had risen to his feet. The result, of course.
Duncan Fletcher?
Di's eyes lit up. No, not for Fletcher. For Hogwarts. All three champions had done a magnificent job, she had to give them that, but the fact that Hogwarts had won, made her feel fantastic.
"Congratulations once again," she called out, softly. "All three of you."
They had all done marvellously.

Yes, the Flying Professor missed his grass and his glorious pitch.
Maximus Vindictus.... had just happened.
Di rose to her feet, a slight smile playing around her lips at the Deputy Headmaster's actions. It seemed he was relieved for reasons of his own. Then again, he did seem half-married to the pitch.
"You seem quite pleased, Professor," she said.
Professor?
Yes, Professor. He had taught her, after all. She couldn't possibly call him Maximus. Or [eeep, never!] Max.
Oh yes. Noel was still there wasn't he? Monique always got so distracted when anyone mentioned balls and dresses. Even the tri-wizard tournament couldn't keep her focused.

Hmm oh! She noticed him again. Hehe. He should know that he wouldn't get in a word now that there is a Ball coming up. Best just leave Monique with Brielle and their conversation.
What was this? "Beautiful French girlz?" he asked, raising his brows in surprise. He was joking, obviously, but the combination of nerves, relief, and disappointment just made him feel weird. He needed some humor!! "Where are zey?"
Hehehehe...run away! "Juzt kidding! I will be honored to walk back to ze castle with you." All of them. All three of them. Oui?

Hearing the champion announced, Josephina couldn't help but feel some house pride fill her when it was proclaimed Fletcher to be the TriWizard Champion. Honestly she didn't really care WHO won, but still, how could she not feel some sort of gladness to know that Hufflepuff was getting some glory this term even if they were last in house points. She'd have to be heartless if she didn't feel anything . . .
Looking his way, she saw he was rather overwhelmed with congratulations, so Fina made some mental congrats and notes to personally congratulate him later . . .

ooc: Staff table next.
Oh . . . what had she agreed to?! Stepping out of her comfort zone to go socialize with women she didn't even know. Yup, that was soooo not like Fina. Yet it was also probably GOOD for her to get know her colleagues some. Maybe?
Giving a small nod that she'd be there in a moment, she turned back toward Di for just a moment first

Except before she got to Di . . . to mention her farewells for the day, her eyes [and ears] wandered toward her former Flying Professor. Uh ... What? Max had definitely LOST IT! Sure she knew people could obsessive about quidditch - which was one reason she avoided playing the sport - but to be talking to an inanimate object?
Ya. That would be like her talking to a bunch of numbers. Totally St Mungos worthy. Maximus totally needed his head examined but she wasn't about to say anything . . . she'd just have to talk to Head!Tate later about the sanity of one of his older professors. Perfectly legit conversation, right?

Interesting ... nice.... isn't that what she basically said? Apparently Max wasn't the only bonkers one. Her friend seemed to have lost it too as she was basically reiterating on what she said. Or maybe she was the one who lost it for over-analyzing everyone else? Nah... she always did that!
But yea, she couldn't agree with Di more one one account; the tournament was over at last! And they had a costume ball to look forward to . . . which wasn't all that exciting, considering she didn't dress up . . . much.
Hug? What? "Oh Di!" Fina sighed, wrapping one arm around her friend. "Anyway, I'm going to head back to the castle now... Maybe be a little social. I'll see you later!" She winked at the Runes Professor and then disappeared off from the stands and after the Potions mistress and Librarian.

Cosette had been standing next to Noel, a smile on her face and her arm intwined with his. She smiled, seeing Brielle and Monique flock to his side. When she looked up, she heard the headmaster dishing out the results! With her fingers pressing into her palms, she looked at Noel. No matter what he was still a champion to her. And... it was Fletcher! Her mouth only slightly agape, she clapped loud for her friend. Even though Noel hadn't one, at least Fletcher had. She would have to buy him a gift when she went back to Hogsmeade.
"Noel," she smiled, pressing a kiss to his hands, which she placed in hers. "You are ztill my champion." Her smile never faltered as she looked at him with those gray eyes. She was so proud of him regardless of his rank. Her ears did peak up though. A ball? "Ze ball? We are 'aving one after all?" She clapped her hands together with delight. "Well, I need to find a drezz and a zuitor, pronto." She laughed, giving Brielle a wink. Maybe she could help with getting Noel to ask her, possibly? Wait.. didn't she and him have an arrangement if there was a ball? Pursing her lips, she broke into a smile. "Oui, I would love to join you at ze caztle." Standing up on her toes, she cupped her hand against his ear and whispered, "We ztill need to 'ave zo danzing lezzonz, oui?" Smiling, she removed her hand and linked it with his.
