Once he released her arms and said sorry again she giggled. Oh gosh, the giggling. NO! :O She quickly stopped and just smiled up at him. "Why so recently, may I ask?" She asked curiously. At least he's nice and so far he wasn't on her boy list that were off limits so he was pretty good so far. Tehe.

"It's nice to meet you as well Jayce." She said biting her lip nervously as he shook her hand. Hopefully they wouldn't have any awkward moments.

"I'm in Gryffindor, and you?" Hayley asked returning the question to him. She remembered that her notebook and quill were still on the floor and she picked it up, tucking the quill in her pocket of her pants and held her notebook beside her.

Jayce smiled at the Hayley as she giggled. He loved when girls giggled. He didn't know why, but he just did. "Well, my girlfriend. She's super clumsy and lately i've been getting pretty clumsy myself." he chuckled as he thought back to the numerous times Trix had stumbled over him. "I don't think i've seen you around before, are you new? Or am i still too new?"

Aww. The girl looked a little bit nervous. Poor thing.

"Oh you are?" he said, feeling a bit excited by the fact. "I'm in Gryffindor as well. Looks like we'll be seeing a lot of eachother." he winked. They're probably be spending lots of time together. Wow, his first friend in Gryffindor, well, besides Aiden that is. Maybe his first girl friend in Gryffindor? Yeah, that fit better.

G-GIRL-GIRLFRIEND?

"I should've expected." Hayley mumbled under her breath. As cute as Jayce was he would probably have a girlfriend already. Hmph. Waitt...did he just say Trixie? Wasn't that Vanessa's friend or something? "Oh, cool." She said simply, not really interested anymore. Now he was off limits. Ehhhh.

He had asked her if she was new and she nodded. "I just transferred here this year." She stated. "I used to go to a muggle school but now that I've moved I go here." She added. Going to a muggle school was horrible because she never could use magic and it was just horrible not being allowed to use something like that everr.

Then he winked at her and she thought she was going to melt. Okay why were there so many cute guys here at Hogwarts? UGH. "That would be amazing." She said with a big smile. "It's always good to have some more guy friends in the same house." So far she had only met three guys in the same house as her. There was Aiden, Rex and now Jayce.....there might be more but she probably was forgetting.

Jayce looked up at Hayley as she mumbled. He wasn't sure just what she had said. "Hm?" he asked, hoping she'd repeat it. "Uh.. yeah. I haven't seen her much lately though.." he said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh you did? That's cool. I transferred over towards the end of the year last year." he shrugged. "You use to go to muggle school?" Jay was dumbfounded by this. He had been in one since he was 5 but luckily enough, he'd gotten his letter once he turned 11. "How'd you survive?" he chuckled.

"Yeah. I agree." he smiled over at her. Definitely amazing. "You can never have too many friends." he agreed wholeheartedly. "What year are you in?" he brought up randomly. If things with Trixie didn't last... who knew what would happen. He'd heard a couple of unnerving rumors about her, but he wasn't entirely sure whether he should believe them or not..

"Never mind." Hayley said shaking it off. She couldn't tell him what she had just said, it was wrong. He was off limits because he had a girlfriend, it wasn't fair. Gah. Wait, he hadn't seen Trixie in a while? "Why is that, if you don't mind me asking?" She asked curiously.

"Where did you transfer from?" She added. Then he looked completely suprised that she had went to a muggle school. She nodded and said, "Yeah I went to a muggle school. How I survived? That's the question I ask myself everyday." She laughed with him. Wow, was she laughing and smiling alot around him. It seemed like that this always happened whenever she was by someone she liked. So there was Gaspar and now Jayce. Hmm...hehe.

"Of course. Having friends is always a good thing. I don't make a limit for how many friends I have, I think that would be rude." Hayley shrugged. In her opinion it did. Then again it seemed like a type of thing Savannah would do. UGH. What year was she in? "I'm in my 5th. How about you?" She asked, fumbling with her charm bracelet once again, fiddling with the charm so they hung right upon her bracelet.

Jayce took a glance at the statues before returning his gaze back towards Hayley. "Oh.. Well, alright." he shrugged, not feeling that he knew her enough to pry. Definitely not. He smiled. "I don't mind. I think it's because we've been pretty busy lately. Well, at least i have. But we haven't made much of an effort this summer, besides the few parties we've been to. But even there, we didn't talk much." he shrugged, unsure as to why he was laying all of this out to a girl whom he had just met.

"Oh, i transferred from America. Salem's school, but the state of Florida." he shrugged. No biggie. He went to school in a completely different state from which he lived. But most kids did that, right? Jayce chuckled some more. "I'd probably die if i had to go to muggle school. Well, i don't like school much in general.." Jay replied. Jayce was in his smiley, laughing mood today, but then again, it was like that most days.

"I completely agree with you." he grinned. "You can't limit yourself when it comes to friends. It's just not possible." He was constantly making new friends. It's just how things worked. "You're in your fifth? That's just another thing that we have in common." Jayce laughed. "I'm in my fifith as well."

"Oh okay. I guess I can understand that. Well hopefuly it works out for you two then." Hayley said in return. Not that she wanted it to work out, but she guessed that it would be better for him to be happy then sad.

"Florida? Awesome. Wait a second, are you friends with Savannah Conrad?" She asked curiously. If he was then he probably visited her all the time and then it meant that he probably was mean on the inside or something like that. Meh. "School is alright, I mean not the work but the whole socializing thing and the weird romances and stuff like that." She giggled. UGH, stop it with the giggling!

"Exactly." Hayley said simply, glad that he agreed with her. Waittt he was in 5th as well? "That doesn't even seem possible." She said with a smile. "That's great though." She added. It really was, more friends, duhhhh.

"Yeah, i have no clue what's going to happen there." he sighed. Why did he have to have a bajillion girl friends and like two guy friends. He practically had his own fan club. >.< And no, he was pretty sure Trixie didn't like that.

"Savannah? You know Savannah? She's a really close friend of mine and super nice as well." he grinned. Ah Savvy. Glitter!Girl. "Are you friends with her too?" he asked, voice full of curiosity. "Yeah, i use to skip classes a lot. It was all so boring. But recently i've been going to classes more often." he shrugged. Meh. Jay had changed. "The romances are always fun." he chuckled, and gave Haley another wink.

Jayce glanced up at the statues. Soo. Creeeeppeh. With a slight shiver he turned his attention back on Hayley. "Yeah, totally." he smiled in full agreement.

Hayley nodded and then he said that he was close friends with Savannah. "Greaaattttt." She mumbled once again to herself. "I know her and we're.....friends if you could call it that. I just can't stand her ego." She said hoping he wouldn't be mad at her for saying something about Savannah like that. "It's just in my opinion, she's not 'all that' like she says she is." She added. It didn't seem right.

He used to skip classes? "I could never skip classes, because my parents would probably kill me." She said shaking her head at the thought of it. Jayce winked at her again and she blushed. "Okay stop winking, it's making me blush." She said slightly laughing. She had a feeling it would go into an awkward conversation verrryyy soon.

Hayley noticed him look up at the statue and then back at her. "I'm guessing you are scared of statues or something?" She asked with an amused expression. If he was, oh gosh, she would have something on him already. Hehe.

Deciding not to pry, once again, he ignored her mumble, pretending that he didn't hear her. Gosh. His hearing must be going too. What next? "Oh really? I'm sorry to hear that. But i'm kind of use to it i guess. My best friends hate my girlfriend. So i'm use to being in the middle of this stuff." he shrugged. "She has an ego?" he asked, confused. "I've never seen that side of her." he frowned, trying to think if she had one. "Oh, well i'm sorry."

"Oh really? You see, back then, i didn't really have parents." he shrugged, knowing she'd ask about it. Most people did anyway. It wasn't something he liked to speak about, but he didn't like keeping people in the dark either. "Oh is it?" he laughed, and winked at her again, waiting for the blush. He thought it was cute.

"Errr.. uhhh.. no..." Jayce replied, avoiding eye contact. He wasn't exactly afraid... "They just.. they creep me out i guess." he shrugged. "Bad experiences when i was a kid." Chuckling, he let his eyes fall back on her.

"Really? I heard that Trixie is really nice, well from my cousin Vanessa." Hayley said wondering why they hated her, but then again he was friends with Savannah, so that would explain it. "Don't be sorry Jayce, it's not your fault. I mean I've learned to deal with it." She shrugged. "You probably haven't seen it because you're a boy and you're good-looking." She said like it was obvious. Then she blushed at what she said. Greatttt.

He didn't really have parents? ........Oh!......She nodded slowly, not wanting to ask him about it, because they were having a good time and she wouldn't want to spoil it. Then he winked at her again and in return of course it made her blush. "That's not fair you found one of my weaknesses." She said slightly mad that he found her weakness that fast.

Jayce said that the statues creep him out and she just laughed. "Well in my opinion if you take a nice amount of time looking at the statues, they're not so scary, they're like a piece of art." She said, taking out her notebook and flipping to the page of where she half drew the statue. "See, it can be created in many different forms and ways, it really is beautiful all in the end though." She said looking down at the picture and then back up at Jayce with a smile.

Jayce nodded. "She is really nice. I'm still having trouble trying to understand why people don't like her. It just doesn't make sense to me." he frowned as he thought about it. "I know, but i still feel bad about the whole thing." he frowned. Why was everything so complicated? Grumble. Grumble. "Oh really?" he raised and eyebrow and grinned broadly at the brunette before him. Good-looking and a guy? Is it really like that? Huh. Could it be that simple? "A compliment from the beautiful Hayley Moon. Why thank you." he grinned at her.

Jayce smiled sadly as he saw the realization click in Hayley's mind. It was like a lightbulb, but it happened to most people like that. Even to him, when he realized things. "Oh i found a weakness? That's what you call it? Hmm.. Does this mean i have to tell you one of my weaknesses?" he arched a curious eyebrow in question.

Jayce frowned. "Are you laughing at me?" he grinned. "Oh really? It's just that sometimes, they seem too real, you know? Haven't you ever watched a scary movie? Like.. the wax museum or whatever it is.. It's creepy." he laughed at himself. But then she was showing him some of her drawings. "Wow, you're really good." he complimented. "Yeah, i get what you're saying and all." he nodded.

"Well next time I see Savannah, I'll take my iPod and put it on record and then you can hear her insult me or whatever she usually does." Hayley said rolling her eyes at the thought. He then called her beautiful and she smiled up at him. "Okay, well maybe you're not all that good-looking." She said laughing a little.

As she looked back up at him she saw that he seemed sad and she took his hand squeezing it. "If you ever need to talk to somebody about it, I'll be here." She said honestly and then let go of his hand. Hehe, yup a weakness, but knowing one of his? "Uhmm, sure. I would like to know one of your weaknesses." She said with a smile. Hehehehehe.

"Do you mean the movie House of Wax? That movie is not scar-" She said about to finish off the sentence but then thought about the movie and she shivered. "Okay now I'm a little scared. Aghh, why'd you have to bring that into my mind, Jayce?" She asked pushing him lightly on the shoulder. "Thank you." She said in return for the compliment.

"Alright, sounds like a plan." he smiled, even though he wasn't exactly sure he wanted to hear her being mean to Hayley. But, he was pretty curious.. Jay smiled down at her. Gahh. He shouldn't be doing this.. Trixie.. and he was feeling guilty. But he wasn't.. flirting.. was he? "I'm not good-looking anymore?" he frowned.

Jayce glanced down at his hand as Hayley took it. His eyes made their way back up to her face after that. But then she squeezed it, and he was no longer sad. He had.. friends. "Eh, there's not much to talk about. But it'll keep it in mind anyway." He gave her a small smile. "Aw. Do i have to tell you?" he laughed. "Alright, alright. I'm... ticklish. There one weakness." he grinned.

"Ah, yeah. That one. I'm not very good with names. I only remember the important ones. Like the names of friends and Toy Story." he grinned. "I told youu! It is creepy when you really think about it." He nodded his head and took a step away from the statues and a bit closer to Hayley. "I brought it up so that we could be on the same page. I'm evil." he chuckled. "You're quite welcome."

Hayley smiled up at Jayce. "You're very handsome." She said with a laugh. It was true, but she laughed afterwards that way there wouldn't be an awkward silence.

"Well if anything comes up, you can talk to me about it. I don't run off and tell people things. I keep secrets and stuff like that." She said hoping Jayce could trust her. Having people trust her made her feel special, that people rely on her not to tell anybody and she keeps those promises. Then he said he was ticklish and she smiled. "That's another thing we have in common. You see my weaknesses are being ticklish, awkward moments and having cute boys wink/smirk at me." She blushed. Waittt, maybe she shouldn't have said all that. Gahhh. She never really could think in front of boys, they just made it harder.

Toy Story? Ahahaha! "Yes you are very evil. I didn't want to think about that, now I'm scared." She said taking a couple steps away from the statues. Ahh now they freaked her out. Thank you, Jayce.

Smiling down at ehr Jayce replied, "Thank you." Was handsome a step up from good-looking? He wasn't sure, but did it really matter? He had been complimented by a cute girl. That was enough for him. At least it should be.

Jayce took a glance at the statues before replying. "I trust you. Believe it or not, i trust people rather quickly." he replied. But he wasn't one for sharing secrets. That's for sure. "But it's good to know that i can trust you to keep my secrets." Jayce smiled. "Oh yeah? That's good to know." he grinned. More weaknesses. It was always fun to learn those types of things. "Oh yeah? Smirking too? I'm a Toy Story fan. Would that be a weakness? My dog's my weakness to." So.. now they were sharing weaknesses eh?

"People tell me that all the time. I am quite evil." he smirked. "Don't be scared." he squeezed her hand since they hadn't exactly let go. "I think we'll be fine if we stick together." he nodded. That made sense didn't it?

Hayley smiled. "No problem." She said simply. So he trusted people quickly? Hmm, she wondered if he trusted Savannah, because she never heard of Savannah keeping secrets. Usually everybody knew about it in a manner of an hour.

She guessed talking about weaknesses were....fun? Hehe. "Toy Story is a good movie, but I still haven't seen the newest one." She shook her head and then she aww'd when he said his weakness was his dog. "Awww, that's adorable. What kind of dog do you have?" She asked, knowing that she would have to bring up Midnight in this conversation sometime.

So he was evil then, hmm? That smirk definitley did it though, making Hayley blush. The last thing he said felt like a line out of a movie and she was leaning closer to him, to kiss him, but then backed away. No, he had a girlfriend and what about Gaspar? Her eyes widened at the thoughts that ran through her mind and she let go of his hand. "I'm sorry but I don't know what I'm doing. You have a girlfriend." She said shaking her head. Ugh, why?

Jayce smiled. Hayley was so nice. Weakness talk. How'd this all start anyway? "You haven't? I've seen them all. They're the best movies ever in my opinion at least." he grinned. Oh Toy Story, he practically lived by it. "I have a Karelian Bear dog named Opal. She's my bundle of joy. Except i can barely hold her anymore. She's about the size of a pony." he chuckled. Stupid dog. "Do you have any pets?" he asked curiously.

Mwahaha. He made her blush again. He felt rather accomplished. Oh yes, he was evil. Super evil. Before he knew what was happening, they were leaning towards eachother, he took his free hand from his pocket and began to bring it towards her hair before they both stopped. Woah. Close call. What are you doing Jay?! He scolded himself. "It's fine. It.. it wasn't just you. I'm sorry too." he frowned. What was that?

Hayley laughed. "Well if we are still friends by the time winter break comes, maybe we can rent the movie and I can finally watch it." She said with a smile. Wait, the size of a pony? Danggggg! She laughed. "If I ever met Opal I probably would trip on her or something like that." She said shaking her head just at the thought of it. She nodded. "I have a black....dog. I'm not really sure what she is, but her name is Midnight." She said shrugging.

Hayley was confused. What had just happened? Wait a second, no she had to kiss him, to see if she really liked him more or Gaspar. Wouldn't that help? But she didn't have the courage to kiss him, sure she was brave but this didn't really count.....right? "Uhmm.....maybe I should leave?" She asked really questioning herself but then she started to walk away. However she knew she would have to do it sometime. She walked back quickly over to Jayce and kissed him full on the mouth. She pulled back and slightly smiled at him. "Sorry, I just had to check something. Anyways how are you liking Hogwarts now?" She asked wanting to change the subject.

Hmm. These statues were... weird. AND there was a swamp. A SWAMP? In a SCHOOL? Strange. But then again, Hogwarts was turning out to be rather strange, Viky thought to herself. She'd already been pushed into the Lake... twice. Yes, very strange. But she liked that, it made things more interesting. Besides, she'd already been told she was a bit odd herself, so they fit together quite nicely, anyway. Haha.

Stopping in front of one of the statues, she poked it's nose. Perhaps it would move, like the portraits? Poke poke poke. 'Mooooooooove you stupid thing!' she muttered in her thickly accented English. IT SHOULD MOVE NOW! 'Why aren't you MOVING?!' she asked it, poking it in the eye. Hehh

Skipping. That's what the 17 year old was doing, she was SKIPPING. Wasn't this a random sight. Her pygmy puff was on her shoulder as sparkly and pink as ever, bouncing around and squealing with each skip the blonde took.

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH.

OMFG. Savannah Conrad had quite literally CRASHED into a statue. Wasn't this lovely. Savvy looked around, pretty sure there was a bruise now forming on her perfect little head. Luckily the statue wasn't broken but she was bruised and her pygmy puff was.....



WHERE WAS JIGGLYPUFF ?!?!

Savannah looked around and noticed the pygmy puff hitting some girl SCREAMING at a statue.



People at Hogwarts were strange.

Viky looked over her shoulder to see some girl crashing into a statue. Shrugging, she turned back to her own statue, poking it again. The girl had gotten up, and she looked fiiiiine. Sure there was a red mark on her head, but it wasn't Viky's place to interfere, was it? Hehe. Poke poke. 'Move!'

But then there was something hitting her. Looking down at her feet, she noticed a small little Pygmy Puff there, looking up at her beseechingly with it's adorable little eyes. 'Hey there, little guy' she said quietly, turning away from the statue and picking the little dude. Or, it might've been a girl. Dudette? Eh, whatever. She walked over to the older girl and smiled, holding out the Pygmy Puff 'I believe this is yours' she said with a grin

Oh, er...hehe.

"No. Just this one." He said, turning around to face the boy. Wearing a sheepish grin, he looked him up and down. "Want to help me eat it? I've got loads more candy we can stick on." Hmm. Maybe he should make a habit of that. It makes eating candy a load more fun. And it means that he could give statues funny faces.

Speaking of funny faces, Jimbo still had that moustache on his face. Tee hee.

Preston narrowed his eyes in on the boy and looked at him carefully. Could he be trusted? Preston shrugged his shoulders and smiled at him. "Sure!" He exclaimed walking closer to the boy. "I-I-I'm P-P-Preston." Preston introduced himself. "W-w-what's y-your name?" He asked stopping to stand beside him as he stared up at the statue. Now that he was close enough he could see a moustache on his face. "H-h-h-how'd y-you g-g-get that?" Preston asked pointing a finger at his upper lip to the moustache.

Hm. The boy had a stutter. He didn't notice the first time because he figured the guy was just nervous or shocked that Jimbo was going round eating statues. "Hullo, Preston. I'm Jimbo." So what if he was a hufflepuff? At least he didn't refuse the candy offer. There were some crazies out there that he didn't want to mention that would have refused the offer. And he didn't talk to those crazies.

"Get what?" Jimbo had forgotten about the moustache for a bit. He had been more focused on getting the candy off of the statue. "Oh, er, the moustache. Right. I drew that there so I could match the statue, see?" He pointed at the moustache that he had previously drawn on the statue with the red candy nose. "Do you want one? Then we can all match."
