Stained Glass Windows Fire and paper do not go well together. The library, therefore, features a reduced number of torches on the walls to minimize any danger to the books. A number of large stained glass windows, placed at regular intervals where the room is part of the outside wall of the castle, ensure that sufficient light gets in. Stretching all the way to the ceiling, these windows depict different famous witches and wizards, momentous historical occasions, and beautifully detailed magical creatures. |
Selena loved it here. Yuup. She L.o.v.e.d. it here. The stained glass was just so pretty. She sat down at a table and started to write and doodle a bit. Over here was one of the places she did her best thinking... It was so nice to be back at Hogwarts, her library back home was probably half the size of this one and maybe it was just as comfy but Hogwarts was like home and she loved it here. |
After a moment of deciding whether to go to the lounge or go to the stained glass windows like she originally planned to, Jenny finally stuck with the stained glass windows. Of course, the moving figures in the windows might be distracting, but they're pretty and not a lot of people sit near them anyway. It's a good reason to go there. Jenny noticed that there was another girl, but she looked busy so it's best not to disturb her. She sat down on a chair near the window of Merlin and started to read the book on Ancient Runes. |
Selena looked up as she heard someone else sit at the tables there. So, maybe she wasn't the only one who liked being here. She set her quill down and looked at the girl. No harm in meeting new people of course. "Hi there, I'm Selena," she greeted tucking her hair behind her ear. She gave the girl a bit of a wave of her hand. Uhm.... Awkward much? Hehehe. |
Fee sat down at the stained glass window. It was really beautiful. She had discovered that she liked calm places really much sometimes. Fascinating what she had found out about herself in that short time period. Her brother was right, after you attended Hogwarts you are growing up fast and Fee exactly felt like that. Quote:
As she turned her head she recognized a girl sitting there. She seemd fimiliar. Oh yes the girl from Divination. "Hey Selena",Fee smiled. |

Anyone <3 Lexi found a window seat at the lovely stained glass she always admired when comign to visit with Mr. Kapoor and plopped down with her copy of Quidditch Through the Ages. A smile stretched her lips as she kicked off her UGGs and pulled her feet up under herself. Sighing happily she momentarily let her mind drift off to Finn. Heh. He was too cute for his own good. |

She flipped the book back open to see a bit on the Holyhead Harpies. Smiling she watched the picture zoom around. "I am not that great, but I do love to play. Have been on the house team since my second year," she said proudly even though she had just admitted she was rubbish at quidditch. "I love to fly, though. It makes it all worth it. I switch between Chaser and Beater so I get a nice try on both positions. I think I am a better Chaser than I am a Beater, honestly," she whispered with a little Teehee. |

"Awesome." He smiled, as he looked down at her book. He had a feeling though that she was probably better at Qudditch than what she was saying. He knew that people tended to put there selves down a bit. "You should come home with me when we have a holiday and we could play." He would like that a lot, and it would give him time to show off to her. Haha. She'd probably beat him, but he would never admit to thinking that. "I bet you're ace that both of them." |

Without thinking Lexi dropped her book to the ground and in the quiet of the library it sounded like a shot fired from a gun. Her cheeks flushed red and she fumbled with the book a bit before scooping it up in her arms. "So... you want me to go home with you over holiday?" she asked after she was able to breath again. |

He hadn't really thought when he'd asked her to come over the holiday. He'd already invited Mia! They couldn't both come over, and he wasn't willing to cancel on Mia because of Lexi, he was sure she'd understand. "I do." He nodded, taking the book from her, just so she wouldn't drop it again. "Not Christmas though..." Was he going to tell her he was taking another girl home? That probably wasn't too good. "But Easter maybe? I mean the ground would be softer and stuff?" Good save Finn. |

Lexi laughed and said, "Well, mum and dad might kill me if I tried to leave the house over Christmas considering it will be my first holiday with them anyway. I was thinking of visiting my Uncle Silas as well, so that wouldn't work out for me anyway." She really missed Imogen and Gabriel so seeing them and taking them gifts would be a great holiday. "Oh come on, you could do better than 'the ground would be softer and stuff'," she said and rolled her eyes slightly. He was a terrible liar. What he was lying about she wasn't sure, but he was trying to cover up something... or maybe he was just ... heck, she didn't know what he was on about really. Heh. "You will have to come home with me one holiday and meet my family." They were meeting eachother's parents. Interesting. |

"Well that's good that I won't be stealing you." Finn grinned a little, because it was funny. Her brother would probably have killed him too. Darn. She had seen through the lie too, and Finn knew he would have to tell her. "Hey! The grass will be softer." He tried to defend himself. Well it was true, he just was trying to lie so. "But it's not the only reason you can't come." Even though he really would've loved for her to come. He gave her a snuggle before continuing. "I've already invited someone...." He gave her a look. She would know that it was a girl. "It's a girl." Was she going to go all jealous on him now? They weren't even that serious. Heck. He didnt even know if she's dumped her boyfriend yet. "But I can promise you that nothing will happen while she's there." |

Lex rolled her eyes at Finlay and giggled again. He was SO full of himself, but it was okay because she was a bit full of herself as well. They cancelled out one another's big headedness. Heh. Lexi frowned at him and shook her head slightly. He had invited another girl home for Christmas. Great. That made her insides feel like a big old knot for some reason. She just looked at him and said, "Well, you had a life before you met me. No harm done." She grit her teeth and just smiled a little. It bothered her, but it was not something that she could say anything about. Jake might be at her house for Christmas as it stood. She was no hypocrite so she kept her jealousy to herself. "If you say so, Finlay." she retorted. She HOPED nothing would happen between he and this girl, whomever she was. But, she didn't much care for the situation. She knew that she and Jake weren't doing anything... bad, but she didn't know about Finn and this girl. "What's her name?" she asked out of morbid curiosity. |
With three books in tow Daisy found comfortable place upon one of the window seats. The stained glass windows were a sight to behold and one she wanted to catchon paper at a later date. For now she was here to practice spells for the year ahead of her. |

"Lexi!" Finn sighed, taking his arm from around her, so that he he could look at her. "Do think so little of me that I would try anything with her when I have you? I thought you trusted me Mia." He looked a little downcast. He was only having a friend overfor christmas, what was so wrong with that. "She's called Mia, and she is one of my closest friends." and Lexi would have to deal with that. |
