Bumph?
What kind of a noise was THAT for someone to make?
Iris looked up from the plate that she was staring at when someone sat down next to her. Honestly, out of ALL the empty table, they had to sit riiiight next to her? Pfft, how considerate of them. Looking up at the boy, Iris raised her left eyebrow. A badger? Well... That's something.
Smirking at the boy as he spoke up, Iris laughed. "homie"... Seriously? This kid was really weird. She looked down at his hand, and glanced back up at him before shaking it. "Iris. Nice t'meet you."
Iris glanced over to where the boy had come from. She could see a crowd of people around a small kid that was crying. Was that? ... Nah. It wasn't Wesley. She wasn't THAT small... Looking away from the Hufflepuff table, the prefect focused her attention on Alex.

Yeah... this totally isn't awkward. Smile.

Ahhhh, the welcome feel of his fellow students. Alex liked this.
He liked food too. But... yeah. Irrelevant.

No... no. But he was dangerously close. Daaaaaaaangerously...

So while his luggage was knockin around the boys' dormitory as if Peeves possessed, the Slytherin lad walked up to their table and sat just by the She-Snakes. His eyes fell immediately on Evelyn's creation. "Nice!" he complimented her.
Blink.
"What is it?"
Oh! See! Now this was someone who new ART! And appreciated it. "Thank you." she smiled. Maybe she could add 'sensitive' to the long list of adjectives she had already mentally given the older Slytherin. People who enjoyed art were sensitive right? Heck, she was sensitive. One word out of line and POOF, you may get a rather realistic fireball heading your...way...
Semi-mysterious looking Slytherin boy said what?
"He's not an it." she muttered, moving her hands away from trying to protect the things non-existent ears. Putting her wand back up her sleeve into it's holster, she made herself comfortable on her seat and adjusted her little Raiden Jr. creature as well. "He's a clabbert. And he has a name." Duh.
Hmph.

"So girls, got any exciting plans for summer?" Yeah, this was something she should probably already know but she really hadn't seen much of them lately... she had been sort of preoccupied. Looking over at Salander she smiled. "Hey, what about you, got any exciting plans for your summer?"
Playing with her bracelet she looked around and noticed Evan sitting not too far from them. She didn't say anything to him though since he was talking with someone else. She would chat with him later in the common room or on the train. Looking back over at the 'Claw table she still didn't see Jimmy. Not wanting any sadness to set in yet she turned back to her table and her friends that were sitting there with her.
Merlin, she hated this time of year.
At least Marie didn't call him an it. In fact, Evelyn didn't even think she noticed her clabbert, but that was a good thing! Less insults to him. Pssh.
Exciting plans? For this summer? "No." Playing with her fork, she slumped in her seat a bit, placing her elbow on the table and leaning her head in boredom on her the palm of her hand before looking back towards Marie. "Well, actually, I was hoping I could catch up on some quidditch skills. I haven't really played in awhile, but I kinda thought of trying out next term for the team..."
It was going to take a loooooot of practice to get back where she used to be. "Interested in helping me?" Unless, she had summer plans already. Her gaze did happen to fall down to the SHINY thing on her friend's wrist though. SHINY! "Where did you get that?"

"Fair enough. Bit of a daft time to start making new friends though, d'you not think?" Iris grinned and tried not to roll her eyes. Eye rolling is a bad habit. One Iris needs to LOSE.
Iris looked back to Alex, with an amused look on her face. The seasons? Wow... the kid must REALLY want to talk to her. Teehee. "Yeah.... Though, I like waking up to sunlight more. Puts you in a dead good mood for the rest of the day." Iris nodded, confirming her statement. But the BEST thing about summer? No school. No homework. If she didn't live in Hogwarts most the year, then 'seeing Aaron everyday' would be in that list, too. Yup.
"Soooo..." Iris tapped her fingers on the wooden bench, trying to think of something to talk about. "Ohh, did you go to the end of term ball?" She diiiid. It was brilliant. Mainly because Aaron's arrival back at Hogwarts was... well... very timely. Hehe.

"Well, I'm just daft all over, so it ain't exactly out of character," Alex smiled, chuckling ever so slightly before picking up the knife and fork in front of him and trying to stand them up on the table, like a 2D teepee.
Ahhh, waking up to the sun. "I agree. Although I probably won't be waking up in the daylight for the rest of the summer. I totally screwed up my NEWTs so my dad will be apprenticing me, I bet," Alex explained. Ahhh... nice.
"No... I decided to pass on that. I don't have many female friends and I thought that if I asked a girl I don't really talk to, they might think I wanted to go as a couple. I take it you went? Was it fun?"
Alex couldn't go with someone as friends, and he also didn't want to go alone. It didn't matter, though. He didn't feel that he'd missed out much yet.

And he wasn't sure he could get through an entire feast of tears and 'oh woe is me' self pitying shizz. Was that harsh? Maybe.. but this was how Oliver coped with things.
He shrugged at her words. “I don't believe in having house elves. But I'd make an exception if it was one of the school ones. Their cooking is better than I've ever tasted.”
He watched her move to rest her chin on her arms on the table and he made a sulky face behind her back. Oh joy of joys, this was going to fun wasn't it? Not. He sighed, unable to ignore it any longer and reached out his hand to touch the back of her head gently where he ruffled her hair a little: a sympathetic gesture. “Why so sad, Trix?” He asked softly but knew the answer without her saying it. He lay his head on the table with his cheek pressed to the cold hard surface and looked up at his bestie, watching her closely, his expression now seriously sombre. “You know... we have an ENTIRE holiday to see each other. You should be happy you get to come back here next year.” Yep. What Oliver would give to come back home again next term.
Oh...Gawd.
She would not cry. No she wouldn't...
Yes she would. The Slytherin's eyes literally filled with water, the more she thought about the the more she wanted to cry. And not thinking about it didn't work because.. well she couldn't not think about it. And now all her thoughts were all messed up. *Wibble*"Well I'm sorry, but I don't think its working" she glanced incredibly quickly at him then went back to staring at the wall. Not that she could see much through her watery eyes anyway. She still needed that hug though... Like, now.
She didn't particularly like having house elves either, but they were in her house and well, there wasn't a lot she could do about it. Well, he couldn't say anything seeing as he'd never tasted any of her house elves found but.. Well that wasn't exactly important right now was it?
*Gulp*
Wall. Yeah reaaaal interesting. Still better then wallowing in sorrow wasn't it? Except she kinda...was. She managed a very weak smile when he ruffled her hair though, even if it was the type of thing you did to a kid or whatever. Her eyes drifted over however when he put his head down on the table and looked at her. That, probably wasn't the best question to ask her right now. "Because.. Cause, I'm gonna miss you Oliver" her bottom lip wibbled completely and the tears started to leave her eyes. "B..B..But school isn't going to be the same... I don't.. Err" she stopped as she felt the thing on her lip slip completely and caught it just in time before it fell onto the floor.
*Sob*
"I erm.. I made this for you" she bit her lip whilst passing the present over. She probably wouldn't even be able to look at it herself.

Yea, that pretty thing. WHERE?
Marie was still playing with her bracelet not really paying much attention to what was going on around her.. until Evelyn started talking to her. She looked up at her friend. What, no crazy summer adventures, no sheep wrestling or anything like that? Oh wait, that would be Destiny that wrestles sheep, not Evelyn.
Huh, Evelyn wanted to play quidditch next term? "Really, you're gonna try out? That's great. I'll finally have someone on our team that I will want to cheer for." Not that she didn't want to cheer for anyone on the team before, but now would be different, she would be cheering for one of her friends. "You want me to help you practice? Sure, I'll do it but I've never played other than what we've done in flying classes so I don't know how much help I'll be." Eh who cared how much help she would be. She needed to do things that would keep her mind busy so she wasn't always thinking about a certain someone.
A smile spread across her face when Evelyn asked where she got her bracelet. "It was a birthday gift from James. He gave it to me at the Ball." She held out her arm so Evelyn could see it better, you know so she could get the full effect of its shininess. "He has good taste doesn't he." Of course he did, he chose her to go to the Ball with him... and she happily accepted.
Selena sighed. Another same old feast, leaving again. Oh joy. She fiddled with the bracelet around her hand as she looked around. There she was, sitting all alone, and swinging her feet back and forth because her feet barely touched the ground. Ooh just because she was short. Her purple eyes glanced around the great hall once more, hoping to find someone she knew. mmm... yeah, not happening. She sighed. Again. Yup, she was b.o.r.e.d.

Emma walked over to the table and grabbed a seat by Sel. She couldn't believe the term was over and that the Tournament was done.. But next year there would be QUIDDITCH!!! AND LOTS OF QUIDDITCH!!! She giggled silently. "Someone looks bored." she said and hugged her friend. "What's new?"

Oliver's eyes met Trixie's for a second and he looked away at the same time as her. She was CRYING! *flail* How the heck did you deal with a crying seventeen year old hormonal female wreck? He swallowed and remained silent, deciding her question was rhetorical.
This was HELL for Oliver. Sitting in silence and not knowing how to comfort the girl he loved so much. He wasn't usually that bad at this shizz, but this time he had nothing. Trixie was losing her best friend for a few months; Oliver was losing his entire world. He was leaving his home and his family. He didn't have the words to make it better because he was being torn up inside himself.
As he looked up at his bestie, he felt wholly miserable. He closed his eyes briefly as she spoke, letting out a melancholic sigh. “I'll miss you too, Trix.” He mumbled. Then silence again..
...
Euurgh! Maybe he should just go for a walk... find some entertainment that wouldn't break his heart or hurt his stomach. He just KNEW he wouldn't be able to manage to eat any of the feast if he didn't. He spied Lori and Sarah at the Huffie table and contemplated going over for a moment. Lori could always provide some light entertainment. heh
But his train of thought was interrupted and he sat up as something was pressed into his hand. He took it, raising an eyebrow at Trixie and then looking down at the red book in his hands with his name on the front:
To Oliver:
He frowned for a second and opened it. The photographs and the wording tore at his heart. He glanced at Trixie and back at the book, turning the pages and taking in everything in there slowly and carefully. A massive smile slowly crawled it's way up his face as all the memories came flooding back to him. He DID think Trixie was amazing! And his ego wasn't HALF as big as she thought it was! Heheh! STORMTROOPER!GIRL! He let out a loud and dirty cackle. He had SOOO forgotten about that! Probably because he'd been unconscious the next minute but still... that had been hilarious! And then there was Trixie on the back page. He smiled softly as he gazed at the picture, running his fingers lightly over the face of the girl he knew so well.
He closed the little book and looked at Trixie, still with the same fond smile in place on his face. “This is the nicest thing anyone's ever given me.” He said softly, his eyes stinging with the unexpected tears in them which didn't fall. He hooked an arm around the girl, pulling her into a gentle embrace. “...Thank you.” He whispered. “My world is going to be a duller place without you.” He kissed the top of her head then pulled away. “I'm not good at owling and shizz but promise you'll write to me. I want to hear the school goss.. and that my Trixie is okay.” He smirked his trademark smirk at the girl, although the melancholy empty feeling remained in the pit of his stomach, the images and wording in the precious book Trixie had given remaining at the front of his mind.

Trixie tried to disguise the fact that her eyes were watering by wiping her sleeve across her eyes. It worked, sort of, she wasn't properly crying so the fact that she was wearing Mascara hadn't bothered her that much yet. It was probably a stupid mistake though. Really stupid. And more silence was horrifying. Saying NOTHING just made it a whole lot worse, because that was what it was going to be like next year for her. Nothingness.
Her eyes moved up momentarily, after the Blonde decided that was a good method for steming tears. Well it would have been but the enchanted ceiling was pretty bright and made them water even more. Gaaah. Where was there to look other than the wall?
*Wibble*
Horrible. She hadn't smiled in ages now, and that so wasn't like the seventeen year old. His words made her wibble even more. Why did she have to be good friends with the seventh years so that she had to be left alone, in a school, with no one Except Vashti...and Maybe Neptune to keep her company when she needed someone... And that someone would usually be her best friend. When she needed a cuddle..or some fun... Or just someone to talk to. The first person she always turned to was Oliver and he simply wouldn't be there. The Common Room would be one lonely place for the soon to be Seventh year. And the thought was truly killing her. She tounched her Snake Bracelet under the table. She was incredibly glad he had given her that, because then it meant she would always have something he made with her.
But then he was handed the book.
The book she had been keeping secret for a very long time. The reason why she often had a camera on her, even if he didn't know about the photos. It had been hidden under her bed, updated every time something happened, full of their memories, then of course the last page. The photo of her with the enchanted words appearing and disappearing. The cover didn't look like much, but it was the thought that counted right? And she had put so much effort into making it.
She watched his expressions changed, obviously amused by some of the things that had happened between them, (probably the Baseball incident being the most amusing) but her eyes didn't glisten, nor did she smile or laugh. She just watched him.
*Sniff*
She looked down at her lap however when he complimented it. She couldn't smile back, no matter how much she wanted to, instead she just felt sick. When he pulled her for a gentle hug, the Slytherin hugged him back, both arms. And she noticed. He actually had tears in his eyes like she did. And then his words and the kiss on top of the head just set her off. She wasn't hiding the tears anymore. She was properly crying. And she didn't even have any tissues on her. The crying meant she couldn't answer her questions, so instead just nodded. Of course she would write and tell him whatever it was he needed to know. "I love you Oliver" the Slytherin sobbed through her tears, her voice incredibly shaky. Like the last words in her book.

Lara was reaaly upset because she has to leave Hogwarts, she misses home but she can stand it, Hogwart is much more fun
Anyway, there's nothing she can do, so instead of feeling upset she thought that it has nothing to do with not eating! Spies were awesome.

Selena laughed, true that but she met quite a few people who didn't like her. Whatever. Haters are gonna hate and she couldn't help that. Pffft. "Yup, I can't believe our second year's already over," she sighed. Way too fast if you asked her. "Awwwh, Emms, don't be so tearful and all that," Selena said with a pout. She was gonna totally miss everyone but the end signifies the beginning of something new. Right? Of course she was right!

"Oh hi! No, you're not interupting, Miss. Spy Lady." The Slytherin said. This was so coool. She was meeting a spy! "I'm Violet, fourth year, Slytherin."
SPY!! well Lara didn't mean to be one....however , spies are cool, aren't they!
Lara smiled at the girl who seemed to be reaaly cool, and that's exactly what she needed in such moments "I'm Lara. First year" she grinned widely"well I'm not a spy but who knows maybe I'll be someday!" Lara laughed, it's always nice to meet older students, Lara thought to herself.
Lara sat down again and looked at the table thinking of what to start with, then she turned to Violet saying "So how did you do with your exams?" Lara asked , It wasn't the best question to ask but Lara couldn't think of anything else to start a conversation.

Oooh, Violet understood now. Yup. "Oh, well are you a spy in training then?" She should be.
Bleh, she asked about school stuff. As Violet crawled out from under the table and sat next to the Lara. "That's a boring question. Ask something exciting!"

Hehe.
Aaron entered the great hall... That day had been LONG! So many finals. MAN! He brushed his hair back with his hand... A bad habit he picked up while in America... And he started walking down the Slytherin aisle. He saw some familiar faces from other houses that he had not seen all term, but, of course. There was Iris. Sitting, always talking to someone new. Aaron smiled as he plopped down next to her.
"Howdy," he greeted the girl Iris was talking to. And then he realized what he said... 'Howdy???' Who am I? John Wayne? His thoughts appeared on his face as he tried to convey what he was thinking to Iris.
Evelyn, Salander and Marie...sorta ish..because I fail at replying. ;)

Destiny was trying to pay attention, really, she was. It would just be RUDE of her to ask Evelyn a question and then not pay attention to the answer. She may be a lot of things, but RUDE was not one of them. Unless you happen to be a person she didn't like then yeah, she would be rude to them. Evelyn was her best friend so she would never be like that to her.
Unless she tried to take her chocolate, but that was the only time! Promise!
It was hard to concentrate on anything when Noel decided to walk into the Great Hall. At least she acknowledged Marie and Salander's presence, right? A nod of the head would have to suffice, for she had a Beauxbatoner to look at.
Hehehehe.
And Noel did that hair flip thing.
Hehehehe.
And his hair was wet.
No. Destiny Shepard was NOT giggling..
..that much.

Hmph.
"Ohhh a clabbert..." Salander nodded his head slowly. Like he knew what that was. Which he didnt. Did they learn about that creature this year? Would he remember even if they did? "What's his name then?" he followed up quickly but casually, lest Hogwart's brightest student decides to quiz him on the creature he pretends to know.
He looked up as more students started to fill the Great Hall, several of his friends joining their own House table. He raised a brow as Destiny seems to be giggling at something at the Ravenclaw table. Was there another food fight? Oh its Noel... speaking of which.... where was his scarf?!?
SPOILER!!: Marieeee ;)

First summer she ends up breaking up with Evan, then last summer Carter broke up with her. At least her and Evan were friends again but Carter, well he won't even talk to her... and she still doesn't know what she did to make him hate her so much.
Sure she didn't have a boyfriend that would be breaking her heart this summer... since she didn't have a boyfriend... but there was James. She was going to miss hanging out with him over the summer and miss those lips of his. Although he did say they would get together, she just didn't know when. She wasn't going get herself worked up about seeing him though. She knew if she did then she would just end up disappointed when she didn't see him at all. Right now she would just think about seeing him at the feast.
As she walked into the Great Hall the first place she looked was at the Ravenclaw table only to see that Jimmy wasn't there. It was still early though so maybe he would still show up. Resisting the urge to look for Carter towards the Gryffindor table she went over to her own table where she seen her friends sitting... and Dylan was there too. Right, another reason she didn't like this day... it meant some of her friends were leaving for good. She was going to miss Dylan and Raiden like crazy.
Sitting down between Destiny and Dylan she gave Dylan a big hug. "I'm glad you decided to finish the term." she whispered in his ear. Even though they hadn't really talked recently she always knew he was there if she needed him. Releasing him from the hug she turned to Destiny and Evelyn.
He raised his head as he greeted Marie when she joined them. Her asking about his summer plans got him to glance back at the Ravenclaw table. Yeah he should get that scarf back. He was after all, gonna need all the warm clothing he could get. "Actually yeah, I'm heading south for the summer" Way down South "Danika invited me to join them on their tour of Antarctica. Guess would be fun to go see some.... ice." Lots of it.
Then his gaze drifted at the Hufflepuff table. Fletcher was gabbing away. No surprise there he thought smirking. Then he saw Mia. The smirk fell from his face. Didnt she say something about a trip back to Australia and checking out her commune? That was way back earlier in the year..... he wondered if she would even remember. And if she did....huh. Australia is close to Antarctica innit?

Cass entered the great hall and looked around for her friends. It really brought her spirits down that she was leaving in a day...Shame. But then, it had been an interesting year. She found her best friends, she fell in love, got her heart broken, got into a fight and learned a lot of magic. She couldn't wait until the next term!
She headed for the Slytherin table and sat down. She wondered where her girls were as she took a cupcake from the center of the table.
" Hi Cass" Rex called out. Did you enjoy your term?" Rex asked Cass. " Glad you are eating good" Rex teased Cass. " have you seen Fee?" Rex asked Cass. " Oh, I see "The Fair Maideon Of Slytherin" over there from "The royal Family"-Emma" Rex explained to Cass and told her another member of "The Royal Family Of HogWarts" " Love to see yo uat The gryffindor table" Rex smiled.
