Slytherin House Table Eat, drink, and be merry, O Snakes, for tomorrow we head back home. |
Evelyn was rather pleased with herself. Not only because she thought she did rather good on her exams this year, and that she woke up with a smile on her face, but that her creature didn't drown itself in the lake, and that the bruise it gave on her leg was almost gone. That said creature, was now in her arms, and not moving; mostly because the spell Professor Saylen put on it wore off, so now it was just an unmoving, green and red Clabbert rock...made of clay. Mwa! Sitting down at the Slytherin table, she placed her little Clabbert next to her and adjusted him so he was facing HIS plate. Teehee. There. Perfect. |

Boo. She hated doing that. Another thing..people were leaving. People she actually knew and liked. Like Raiden..and Noel. Sure, she didn't know the Beauxbatoner that long, and they only talked like twice, but she was still upset to see him leave. Practically dragging her feet over to the Slytherin table, she gave a quick glance around the hall and when she did not spot any of the Beauxbatoners, she took a seat across from Evelyn and her.. "What the heck is that thing?" And why was IT sitting in front of a plate? |

Taking out her CLEAN wand, all shiny and brand new looking considering she had to fix it after that clay/mud incident in creatures class, Evelyn looked towards her silverware before the tiniest smile formed on her lips. Well, she could be less bored for now. Just about to give her wand the good ol' swish and flick, someone sat across from her. She swore if it was a firstie or someone she didn't know, the girl was going to accidentally send her spell elsewhere. MEEP! No it was Destiny- O___O!!! "Don't talk about Raiden Jr. as if he can't hear!" she hissed, covering the demented things 'ears'. Oops. She forgot to give the thing ears. "And it's a Clabbert! His name is Raiden Jr." STARE. Yea, just trrryyyy to laugh at that. |
Dylan sighed. The final feast. His last meal. Home time. He didn't want to be here, but he couldn't prolong his packing for much longer. There is only so many times you can stuff socks into shoes. |
Nuh Uh! She absolutely, point blank refused that it was the end of term feast. There was absolutely NO WAY that her best friend would be leaving her. She wouldn't let it. She wouldn't let ANY of her friends go, cause she needed them next year. One more than any of the others. She sat at the table alone. Staring. At a wall. Mainly so she wouldn't cry, and pretty much because she didn't actually have anyone sat there with her. She was right on the end, away from everyone else, visibly shaking to herself. Right now, all she needed was her best friend... and quite possibly a HUGE hug. Something was placed in her lap. It was red, but the fact that she had her legs under the table, meant that the red was all that was visible at the moment. All would be revealed later however. |
Evelyn, Destiny and anyone else who wanna join in.... End of term already?... Salander strolled into the Great Hall and looked around. Not a whole of people yet, must still be packing. he chuckled to himself. But then he wasnt packed either. How can he? He trapped So while his luggage was knockin around the boys' dormitory as if Peeves possessed, the Slytherin lad walked up to their table and sat just by the She-Snakes. His eyes fell immediately on Evelyn's creation. "Nice!" he complimented her. Blink. "What is it?" |
Cass entered the great hall and looked around for her friends. It really brought her spirits down that she was leaving in a day...Shame. But then, it had been an interesting year. She found her best friends, she fell in love, got her heart broken, got into a fight and learned a lot of magic. She couldn't wait until the next term! She headed for the Slytherin table and sat down. She wondered where her girls were as she took a cupcake from the center of the table. |

She noticed Cass sat nearby and smiled at her- "Hey Cass!" she said, with a big friendly smile, picking up a nearby goblet and watching it fill itself up with the most addictive drink- ever. "How are you hun?" she asked her kindly, sitting down next to her. |

"How about you? Am guessing you're kinda excited to see your family too?" she asked Cass, pulling a diamante clip from her pocket and pinning a few loose curls. |

This was tough, man. Tougher than he ever imagined it would be. Durmstrang had never had such an impact on him as Hogwarts. In fact, he would bet that right now he would be practically jovial about leaving that place. Who in their right mind LOVED school!? It was a place where you went to be educated... but Hogwarts had been SO much more to Oliver than that. This place, and the people in it, had helped shape him into the young man he was becoming. A balanced, perceptive, albeit pain in the butt. He was a very different person to the one who had arrived here lost and lonely three years ago, pouring out his verbal diarrhea of so-truthful-they-hurt insults and sarcasm onto anyone who went near him and not caring about the consequences. But he cared now. He cared about these people: every single bloomin' last one of them. He looked from the wonderful looking food he wasn't sure he could stomach, to Trixie. His bestie. He had inkling that she was going to cry, and he knew it would just make the situation all the worse if she did so he forced a smile which he hoped looked bright and amused and not like the half grimace it really was. He completely ignored the look on her face pretending he hadn't noticed. Selfish maybe? ..But he couldn't cope with comforting her right now. He didn't have the words to do so.. so instead he went into humour mode. “You reckon Captain Potato Tot would notice if I stole one of the kitchen elves? I don't think I can live without the food here.” He patted his stomach enthusiastically and licked his lips.. but regretted doing so as soon as it started to churn with nerves. Urrgh. |

Okay this was just.. Horrid. Absolutely horrid. No way could it be end of term. There was absolutely no freakin' way that the seventh years would be going ANYWHERE. Not if she could help it anyway, which.. she couldn't, cause she had no control over this. Silence wasn't something the Blonde was used to, especially not considering Oliver had just joined her. Heck that was the only time she would usually NEVER get silence. And Trixie considered that a good thing. A very good thing. So that probably meant next year would contain a lot of... silence. Maybe she should just not ever come back, stay at home, heck she didn't need education. Okay yes she did, she was too much of a Swot to ever let that happen. All she needed next year was a distraction, but that usually came from her bestie and well.... *Bottom Lip Quiver* "Is that really all you have to say?" the seventeen year old asked a little shakily, not turning to look at him in fear that she would cry. Which she would. Miss Trixie Amelia Malfoy always did emotional, and this would be the most emotional she had ever gotten. "You could have one of mine.. I don't need them" she replied, her voice quivering. Trix folded her arms on top of the table and rested her chin on them, staring at.. Wall. Yeah lovely brick wall, how fascinating. She could feel the red thing starting to slip off her lap. Better give it sooner better than later right/ *Siiiiigh* |
For anyone. ^_^ Evan entered the Great Hall in a mood that was... blank. That was how he felt, not like he couldn't feel, but as if he didn't know what to feel. Sure, he had done OWLs in one way or another, and he had a loooong time for worrying about them yet. This year had gone too fast, though. It was like yesterday when he had consoled Marie on the train. Though he was kind of glad that it was over, since this year had been simply boring with all the OWL stuff and without Mina. And he was excited to see her, however he still thought this year could have gone a little more slowly. As he made his way to the Slytherin Table slowly, he looked at the people that were already there, and couldn't see someone he knew. Eh, no big deal. They would arrive sooner or later. Sitting somewhere, he got himself a glass of water and drank it slowly too, looking to be thinking deeply. |
Hope you don't mind me stealing this :P Quote:
"Hey, Evan," he began, standing across from where the boy was sat, where he seemed to be thinking, and thinking deeply. "Mind if I sit down?" Okay, so he'd probably already interrupted his thinking with the rueful 'Hey', so he just looked down at the other boy. "Sorry if I disturbed you..." he managed, looking like he meant it. Wow, Adam had sure grown up this year. |
Quote:
"Long time no talk, eh?" he asked, eyeing the Ravvie. He couldn't even remember when was the last time he saw him... probably when they played football, though he wasn't sure. He had definitely missed Adam, though. He made a note to see him more frequently next year. |
Iris walked into the Great Hall with her prefect badge on and her head held high. Well, sort of. She knew that in a few weeks time, when her mum sees her OWL results, she was going to be in BIG trouble. And she didn't know if she'd be wearing this badge again next year. But for now, she might as well just be happy. Seeing as though there were only a few Snakes at the table, Iris nodded in acknowledgement to Evan, and carried on walking down to the other end of the long table. Settling herself down in the middle of the table - on her own. Then, Iris looked up at the staff table to see who was there yet. It was almost worth a sigh. With all the people graduating this year, there was bound to be a fair few teachers leaving with the 7th years. The prefect glanced away from the staff table, and watched her feet. Snort. Iris was totally going to have to buy new school robes for next term. That growth spurt she had made her robes about four inches too short. Next term.... She'd be a sixth year. As cheerful as the End of Term feast was, it always reminded her that the next time she'd be sat in this amazing hall, she'd be a year closer to not coming back to the place... |

"I know," Adam admitted a little sadly, "It's a shame, I've missed football." He smiled again, wishing that he hadn't kept to himself so much that year. Something that could never be rectified. Unless - "Hey, you should come to mine this summer, have a kick about." he grinned, a little overenthusiastic. But he wanted to stay in touch with his friends. He would stay in touch with them, he promised. "I'm moving out of my flat and getting a house." He added, as a little unneeded explanation. |
She-Snakes, Dylan, Salander and Evan Marie was not happy to see this day come at all. The end of term feast meant summer holiday started the next day. A break she was not looking forward to after the disastrous last 2 summers she had. First summer she ends up breaking up with Evan, then last summer Carter broke up with her. At least her and Evan were friends again but Carter, well he won't even talk to her... and she still doesn't know what she did to make him hate her so much. Sure she didn't have a boyfriend that would be breaking her heart this summer... since she didn't have a boyfriend... but there was James. She was going to miss hanging out with him over the summer As she walked into the Great Hall the first place she looked was at the Ravenclaw table only to see that Jimmy wasn't there. :( It was still early though so maybe he would still show up. Resisting the urge to look Sitting down between Destiny and Dylan she gave Dylan a big hug. "I'm glad you decided to finish the term." she whispered in his ear. Even though they hadn't really talked recently she always knew he was there if she needed him. Releasing him from the hug she turned to Destiny and Evelyn. "So girls, got any exciting plans for summer?" Yeah, this was something she should probably already know but she really hadn't seen much of them lately... she had been sort of preoccupied. Looking over at Salander she smiled. "Hey, what about you, got any exciting plans for your summer?" Playing with her bracelet she looked around and noticed Evan sitting not too far from them. She didn't say anything to him though since he was talking with someone else. She would chat with him later in the common room or on the train. Looking back over at the 'Claw table she still didn't see Jimmy. Not wanting any sadness to set in yet she turned back to her table and her friends that were sitting there with her. Merlin, she hated this time of year. |

He nodded with Adam in sadness. "Yeah, I've missed it too..." he softly said. There had been no one to talk about football this year, not even Mina. The only way he could manage football-lessness was by reading magazines and over-using computer for football games and websites at home. He gave a small "Huh?" at the oddness and suprise of the offer. He frowned deeper when Adam said that he was getting a house, and the Slytherin focused on that part instead of the actual offer. "You're getting a house?" How old was he? Why would one get a house while they were attending Hogwarts all through the winter, unless... Wait... he wasn't seventeen and leaving, was he? "You're... graduating?" Was he losing another friend? NO way! |

"We should've hung out more - I think Lori got a bit sick of me going on about the game, especially that weekend when it was the Everton versus Liverpool game." he grinned again, remembering his teams win. He couldn't believe he'd hardly played it though, having only himself to do keepy-ups with, or skills. Adam stopped reminising and looked up at Evan just as the kid adopted a confused look. Oh dear, he didn't know. "Yeah..." Adam said heavily, admitting to both points with the one word. "I ain't coming back next year..." |
Savannah sat down at the Slytherin's table, thinking about her last time sitting here. Chase was here, but not anymore. Savannah continued to grieve. When will her sadness ever stop? Maybe coming back was a mistake? She has no friend now. None. She banged her head on the table...ow! Okay. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea. Savvy rested her head on her hands, thinking about the good days, good times. |

Spotting a Slytherin Prefect (he couldn't remember what year she was in, but he knew she wasn't a seventh year), Alex beelined for her and sat down beside her. "Bumph," he announced his arrival. "'Sup homie?" he greeted in a joking manner, holding his hand out to the girl. "Name's Alex." |

Oliver totally heard that wee sob Trixie emited and the fake smile plastered across his face faltered. And it faltered even more so at her words and the quivering bottom lip. He winced inwardly at her rather blunt question. “I'm just trying to make you smile, Trix.” He said honestly. Because hell.. she looked how he FELT! And he wasn't sure he could get through an entire feast of tears and 'oh woe is me' self pitying shizz. Was that harsh? Maybe.. but this was how Oliver coped with things. He shrugged at her words. “I don't believe in having house elves. But I'd make an exception if it was one of the school ones. Their cooking is better than I've ever tasted.” He watched her move to rest her chin on her arms on the table and he made a sulky face behind her back. Oh joy of joys, this was going to fun wasn't it? Not. He sighed, unable to ignore it any longer and reached out his hand to touch the back of her head gently where he ruffled her hair a little: a sympathetic gesture. “Why so sad, Trix?” He asked softly but knew the answer without her saying it. He lay his head on the table with his cheek pressed to the cold hard surface and looked up at his bestie, watching her closely, his expression now seriously sombre. “You know... we have an ENTIRE holiday to see each other. You should be happy you get to come back here next year.” Yep. What Oliver would give to come back home again next term. |
