Wandering the empty and silent corridor on the sixth floor, Cosette Soleil let out a loud sigh, hearing it eerily echo down the hall. Feeling a slight cold breeze fill within her, she walked to hear her footsteps berate against the walls and fill her ears. "Creepy." She whispered to herself before turning around to look behind her, making sure no one was following her. She always had a feeling someone was. Maybe it was just because her father had taught her to always be on the look out. Being the daughter of a Hit Wizard came with some precautions.

Reaching down, she took her wand from inside of her combat boot. Muttering a curse, she flicked it, saying, "Lumos." A sharp light erupted from the end of her wand, making the area a lot easier to look at. She didn't know why her father ever loved this school. It was dank, dirty, and she wasn't even talking about the mudbloods.

Arabella-Marie was wandering around the sixth floor corridor and sighed as she ran into an older sixth year girl and said "Sorry i wasn't paying attention to where i was walking" Arabella-Marie hoped that this girl wouldnt be mean to her

Feeling the weight of a whole person fall into her back, Cosette fell forward. Jutting her leg out, she wasn't able to fall, but fell onto a bent knee, her wand hand flew out and clutched onto the nearest wall. "You bloody little tr-" she cursed, her blond hair in front of her flushed face. Getting up quickly, she huffed, running her hand in her hair to push back her hair. Her eyes cast in a silver gleam, she pointed her lighted wand at the younger girl.

"How dare you run into me." She bellowed, her french accent sounding powerful and demanding as she puffed out heavy breaths. She didn't know why she was so angry, the girl tripped into her. "What is your name?"

Arabella-Marie could tell that this girl was pretty unhappy and said "My name is Arabella-Marie Kingston" Arabella-Marie wasnt paying attention she didnt mean to make this girl fall forward

Cosette could see the girl was frightened. She looked like she was ten years old at most. Probably a first year. Letting out a small chuckle, she retracted her wand hand from in front of the girl. She felt a tad bad. Whenever someone got on her nerves, she didn't result to violence. Well, that was her new rule. Her old one was to just annihilate the little sod until they wouldn't do it again. "Lumos Maxima." The light at the end of her wand flooded out a larger beam of light, making the whole floor easier to see.

Walking around the girl, she crossed her arms, a smirk on her face. "Maybe next time you won't be so clumsy, my dear Arabella." She chided, accent rolling with the words. Maybe a little fear was always best for the younger ones.

Arabella-Marie nodded and said "Yeah of course i will be more careful next time" This girl scared Arabella-Marie a bit

Screeching, all you could hear through the corridor was SCREECHING. Or was that singing?

"BABY I LAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIK IT! THE WAY YOU MOVE ON THE FLOOOOOOR!!!!!"

Well I guess that answers it. It was singing by the lovely Miss Savannah Conrad. She was an awful singer and she knew it, she knew it well actually. That didn't stop her from singing as loud as she possibly could though. She knew she looked like a total freak, a hot freak but still a freak. Guess what was on the blonde's face? These bad boys. Didn't she look cute jamming out to her music with those shutter shades over her eyes? Mhm. And on her feet were matching pink strappy shoes, but enough about how cute she looked....Savannah Conrad was on a mission.

She needed to find Ai-Ai Chevalier cause she knew he was mad at her. She had a gift for him though, a gift she was SURE he would like. Did he break up with THING by now? Eh, probably. Savvy didn't care though, she just wanted the poor guy to be happy and snog her Where was Ai-Ai anyway? Hmmm...she would run into him eventually.

"BABY I LAIIIIIIIK IT! C'MON AND GIVE ME SOME MOOOOORE!"

Whoa, loud music. Aiden could practically hear it from all the way at the other side of the school. But, he didn't mind - the song was BRILLIANT. Despite the fact that one of his current favorite songs was playing, it still only brought his low mood up by centimeters. As he got closer, he heard screeching singing... Savannah's singing. The girl was dancing and flailing about to the music, and Aiden stopped and leaned his shoulder against the wall. "At least you have good taste in music."

And there he was right in front of her, the blonde came to a sudden halt. She pushed the neon pink shutter shades up. Now, most of the time, she would have smirked all proudly but the blonde did something much different. SHE FROWNED and no mention or sighting of THING in sight. "Errrr...hey..."Talk about awkward, THIS was totally awkward.

"Look,about the whole thing I dont know what happened and I know you are mad at me and I'm sorry okay? "She sighed."I know you hate me but I figured I MIGHT attempt to win a liiiiiiiiiittle bit about of your respect back."And with that, she looked in her purse and pulled out a pair of white shutter shades looking at him.

Aiden looked at her coldly. Savannah had played a big role in this break-up he just went through with Ella. But after a few moments, he discarded the look. Though he was still a rather ticked, he had been the one making sucky choices. He just had to be mad at himself. He didn't even respond to what she said, but rather fell back against the wall and slid down to the ground. "Ella and I broke up." He stared at the ground in front of him.

He heard her rustling through her purse and he finally looked at when she presented a pair of white shutter shades. "What are those for?"

......duh. She knew that. "Well, I figured."Savannah said with a roll of her eyes. She wasn't stupid, it was obvious they were going to break up. Aiden kind of cheated on Ella three times, three times was usually enough. Savvy still had her hand out, with the shutter shades still there.

"Because....I wanted to attempt to cheer you up with these cool glasses things." it was a stupid idea really, Aiden hated people buying things for him. She sighed frowning, "I know you know I don't like Ella but I also don't like seeing my FRIEND upset."she sighed again, Shaking her head.

Amy wandered the dimly lit corridor she had been exploring the castle all day but she hadn't seen this floor before "perhaps it would be wise to head back to the common room" she thought, she turned and headed for the staircases

Neptune was just not having a good week. She was dragging her feet down the Sixth floor corridor, embarrassed that she'd been SO distracted that she got off the moving staircases one too soon.

Even her curls were drooping a little.


She was just going to walk to the end of the hall, then double back to the staircases. By then, everyone that saw her on the staircase would be on their merry way and she could retreat to her Common Room.


Pooooooor Neptune Bott.

Fletcher was still whistling a song about having a great daaaaaaaay as he slid down the banister from the seventh floor to the sixth. He'd delivered Neptune's message in such a stylish manner that really, nothing could bring him down now.

Except the sight of the very person he was looking for, apparently looking so down.

"Awesome Bott!" the boy called out in a jovial manner, strolling down the hall with his arms spread wide. "Why so serious, m'lady?"

There were no more means boys bothering her, were there?

Neptune gave an uncharacteristic shrug.


But she couldn't QUIIIIIITE keep from giggle!grinning at Mr. Awesome Fletcher. Not quite. He was far too charming and handsome. FAR far far far too much to ignore.


"Promise not to tell anyone?"

Fletcher was near Neptune's side in a few short strides and in another smooth movement, had his arm around her shoulder. Just in a buddy-buddy comforting manner, you know.



"Cross my heart and hope to die in the Triwizard Tournament, I do promise." He made a very serious X over the heart gesture and nodded for her to go on.

Neptune frowned at his choice of words, once again having those suspicions that Mr. Fletcher was a few beans shorts of Box. People really DID die in the tournament.

And he was TOO pretty to die. Really, really!


"You really shouldn't say such things, Duncan. But I appreciate your honor and word." Neptune took a deep breath, then let the embarrassing news out, "I got confused on the staircases. This isn't the Ravenclaw Tower floor." POOOOOOUT.

Fletcher frowned deeply at the usage of his first name. Nuhuh, Awesome Bott, not even awesome people get to use that name.

"You really shouldn't say my first name out loud," he grumbled, "cuz it's cursed." That was a blatant lie. But how would she know it wasn't? He could be the next Voldetort for all she knew. Anyway, on to whatever was bothering the Bott today.

He had the urge to laugh, once again, at poor Neptune's little misfortune. Well OBVIOUSLY this wasn't the seventh floor. Duhhhhh. Even he knew that.

"Um... yeah well I can see that," Fletcher managed to choke out without even giggling. "But at least you only missed it by one, right?"

"But it's a nice first name," Neptune pet him, suddenly flooded with grief over one Kellen Stern. HE hadn't asked Neptune about her name after his WRONG assumption that she was named for that stupid planet. So Neptune Bott would NOT make the same mistake with Duncan. "Were you named for someone?" Pet. Petpetpet.


"Either way," Neptune continued petting him, simply to have something to do with her hands, "it's embarrassing. Ravenclaws do not get lost in their own home." FYI.

"Yeah thanks," Fletcher remarked sarcastically. "But I hate it. Because yes, I was named for my father and my father's father and both of them are about as awesome as a family of flobberworms."

He glared at a random portrait on down the wall and slowly started walking Neptune to the stairs, just in case she was still somehow confused about where she was. He didn't even notice the odd petting she was doing. Glitterpuffs ≠ pygmy puffs, people.

"Are you named for anyone?" he attempted to change the subject. "It's not that embarrassing, really. I'm sure you just lost track of the number of flights. It's like forgetting to jump that one trick step, right."

See how OFF Neptune was??? She knew he was named for his father. It had been the III - Fletcher the THIRD - that had caught Neptune's attention so early on. She loved his name. It was so ... important sounding. Sophisticated.

Her brain was just somewhere else.


"Flobberworms are not very awesome," she agreed quietly. How very unfortunate for poor Duncan. Neptune comfortably eased his arm around her into a full on hug. Someone to take care of her finally. Would he make her cocoa and brush her hair, TOO?

"It's a range of mountains in Antarctica, actually. The Neptune Range. We," The Bott's," live there." In Antarctica, not on Neptune. But still. SNUGGY NUZZLING occurred for his asking. At least SOME boy somewhere was asking and not assuming.

"Exactly," Fletcher nodded, driving his point home. See what was in a name, Neptune? Everything. Names were everything, especially when meeting new people and being named the Hogwarts champion and all.

He snuggled against the poor girl and rested his chin on her head for a moment. "Really? That's pretty..... coooool." Literally. Antarctica had to be freakin FREEZING and AWESOME. "I had no idea!"

He was pretty amazed by Antarctica! "Can I come visit you sometime? Do you guys get around with like, those dog sleds?" Fletcher also wanted to ask if that was where Santa lived but, but that wouldn't have been very knightly of him.

"Well of course you can! How thoughtful you are to ask," Neptune was positively delighted. HE wanted to come see HER?

Oh you BETCHA! They would have tea and cookies and boss Randal around!

Then maybe...

Hmm. Neptune turned her face to REALLY look at Duncan Fletcher the Third. REALLY look. Hmm


He kept flip-flopping between WONDERFUL boy and complete idiot. It was sort of like Kellen really, but strangely completely different. Kellen flipped from being simply the greatest, kindest, cutest boy on earth to... just boy. BOY boy.


"No...," she answered slowly, to the dog sled question, "No, we don't." Bott's did not own dogs, and they certainly did not use them as transportation. "We don't actually go outside there. It's very, very cold. And secluded. It's sort of a prison." Sigh. So was.

"Ohhhhhhh," Fletcher said slowly. That was still cool though, even if Antarctica! did sound like a... lonely, cold prison. "I'll still come visit you though," he assured her. "If I can get some free beans, maybe.....?"

He flashed a crooked little grin since he hadn't yet asked Awesome Bott if she was the heiress of an every-flavored empire or anything. THAT was truly awesome, besides the whole Antarctica! thing and all. But thinking of awesome reminded him of why he'd been looking for Miss Neptune in the first place....

"Oh yeah. I meant to tell you that I delivered your message to that Stern kid," Fletcher mentioned offhandedly. Maybe that would cheer her up.
