Alice stepped into the owlery and looked around for her owl. Once she spotted her she called her down, Snowflake landing evenly on her arm. Alice gave her a treat and rubbed her head gently, before strapping the letter to her leg. Alice wasn't sure how her muggle father would respond to the appearance of an owl with a letter strapped around its leg, but she wanted to see how he was doing. "Be careful Snowflake," Alice said, giving the owl a kiss before sending her off.
