Ginny had heard someone walk in. She turned her head. "Hey Jade", she said to her with a smile. "How are you today?", she asked. "Do you have parchment and a quill?", she added.

"Hey Ginny. I'm fine thanks. You?" Jade asked smiling back. "This place is awesome!" Jade said looking up. "Yes, I've got some," she said searching in her bag.

"I'm pretty good", she answered Jade with a smile. "The Owlery is very tall and has many levels", she told Jade. "I was just checking", she repiled to her.

"Yeah it is very tall!" she said nodding. "It's alright," she continued as she sat near Ginny and started scribbling her letter.

Ginny smiled at Jade nodding back to her. "Do you have your own owl? Otherwise you'll have to use one of the School's Owls", she told Jade.

"Yeah I have one," Jade said. "But I think I have to look for her," Jade said giggling.

"That's cool", she said to Jade. "What's she called?", she asked Jade. "I got my owl before. She's just here, just on the windowsill", she told her.

The girl smirked, "You can even send a patronus, it is no vig deal" she said, dismissing the subject with her hand. Even a flying memo would do the trick. Owls were...well, this was the school, it would be a great deal of trouble to only get an owl when the distance was too small. Unless you happened to have an owl available at that exact moment.

Mmmm. Danika actually thought about the proposal, and then shook her head. "It is not necessary, vut thanc you" she said, with a soft smile, "I von't get vack to the Castle soon, anyvay" she shrugged. Hogwarts grounds at night were quite beautiful, even with the little cold that the air held.

Not waiting for Fletcher, and not wanting to finish that third letter just yet, the girl started to walk away, into the stairs that will lead her back to the grounds.

Charming boy, Fletcher was. Perhaps Sandra might like him.

Jade smiled. "She's called Crystal," Jade said as she looked at Ginny. She then looked at Ginny's owl. "She's beautiful," Jade said, "What's her name?" she asked.

"That's a beautiful" she smiled at Jade. "My owl is called Cherry"name", she answered while she was writing.

"That's cute!" Jade said. "Then our owls both have there names beginning with the letter 'C'!" Jade said laughing. She continued writing because compared to Ginny she was still behind.

"Thanks", she said to Jade with a smile. "Oh, yeah, that's cool. Crystal and Cherry", she repiled with a giggle. There was so much to write about. Ginny was getting so excited writing about the Room Of Requirement.

Jade smiled at Ginny. Then she continued writing her letter. She had a feeling this was going to be a really long letter. First she wanted to tell them that she was alright and ask them how was everyone. Then she wanted to tell them about the Room of Requirement and ask her father in particular if he had ever heard or even entered the room.

Ginny smiled back at Jade. She continued to write her letter, feeling like she had to keep writing. It was odd with some awkward silence around them. She looked at Jade. "Is everything alright?", she asked.

There was an awkward silence until Ginny asked if everything was alright. "Yeah I think so," Jade said. "It's just this letter is getting really long," she said smiling. "Have you finished yours?" she asked.

It just wasn't good when there was silence. Ginny didn't exactly being somewhere with people and it would be silent. "It's alright, my letter is pretty long", she said to Jade. "Nope, I'm almost done, I guess", she repiled to Jade.

Stepping into the owlery, JD looks around for the small tawny owl he'd used the last time. She was really sweet, and happy to help him mail his letters to his mum and dad. They still didn't understand why he couldn't just mail a letter normally, but he knew this was one faster and two easier for him to do so.

Calling her down, he strokes her back when she lands on his shoulder. It was too bad his mum and dad had put his foot down when he'd asked to get his own owl. So the school ones would have to do for now.

Attaching the letter to her outstretched foot, he strokes her one last time. "Thank you." he says softly.

Pam walked into the owlry. She found her owl arriving on her shoulder, almost as soon as Pam had arrived. "Hello Tahlia. Do you have a letter for me today?" Tahlia stretched out her foot. Pam was right. There was a letter attached to her foot. Pam took it, and looked at the address. It was adressed to Liz. "Ah, so you've been with her parents have you? Well you can come with me when I give her the letter." She ruffled the bird's feathers, and gave her a treat. Being with Tahlia always made her happy.

Not really giving any thought to anyone else being there, Cally clutched her letter tightly to her chest as she climbed the stairs.She didnt look around, just whistled; and at once a small grey owl with petite little features swooped down from the stepal and perched on her wrist.

"Keep it safe Benjy"she whispered.

She never normally came up to send mail, as she had no one to send it to. But now she did. Finally. But that was a story for the latter. She shook her head as she let the small bird fly as fast as he could. Closing her eyes, taking a deep breath, she heard someone mutter something. Peering over her shoulder, she saw a boy.

She looked at him for a moment. As he spoke to the bird, Cally turned her head back to the sky."Something important too?"she asked, turning her head, looking over her shoulder at the boy, nd then at the letter and then to him once again.

Looking up as he sent the tawny owl off, he hears a voice talking to him, he thought anyway. The owlery had seemed pretty empty. Turning around he sees Pam, but she was busy looking around some more he sees another girl, an older one, that he didn't think he'd met yet.

"Hi. No, jus' a letter te me parents." he replies with a grin. "I'm JD, by the way."

Cally nodded at the boy.Deciding on turning her full body to face him,she smiled pleasently with a small nodd as she watched the bird fly off along side with her own into the distance.

She glanced at the boy once more with a soft expression.She had never seen this boy before, wondering why not, as he only looked a little younger than herself. She looked at him puzzled a little. "Nice to mee you JD.. Im Cally.. and by the look on your face.. well it looked important.."she said wondering if she was prying to much .

Altair wasn't in the owlery. She was out delivering letters to her brother, and the small puff knew this. Her reason for coming up to one of the highest towers was to take pictures of the owls with her shiny new camera.

Finally she would be able to show the twins what the castle looked like, and not with muggle pictures, nope. Her camera was a magical one.

Looking through the lense, she carefully walked into the not sure what owl she wanted to photograph first.

Blushing a little, he shakes his head, "Nah, I was jus' thinkin' that I wished me mum and dad would let me get an owl, meself." Looking out the window, he smiles at the tawny that was quickly disappearing from view. "She's me favorite, though she's jus' a school owl."

"Nice te meet ye as well Cally." his smile reappearing. "Was yers important?"

She smiled at him for a moment.Maybe she had read him wrong. Infact she definately had.She smiled a little and walked over to lean on the wall next to him.She nodded a little."Well maybe you should get one.. "she said to him with a nodd."She is a beautiful one"she admitted.

She smiled and shook her head a little."It was the first mail Ive sent in my five years of being here"she said to him shaking her head a little and looking to the view."Weird.. "she said a little and smiled.She liked his accent too.It was different.

Sighing his eyes roll upward a little, shaking his head "I really wish I could. Me parents said no, no pets whatsoever." His smile coming back he nods "She really is, and very gentle."

"Yer first?" he asks surprised "Wow!" He couldn't imagine not mailing anything with an owl, he couldn't see why his parents wouldn't agree to have one, they were dead helpful. "I probably would never get a letter te them, fer weeks, if I didn' have an owl go."
