Come and send a note or letter using your own owl or any of the school owls.

Brittany had already said as soon as she was able to send a note back home to her parents she would. She was dying to tell her dad about the triwizard competition.

She walked in and saw loads of owls but none were hers. "Keegan" she called. with a soft whistle. He heard her and flew done to her shoulder. "That's a good boy.' she said smiling and giving him a treat.she had remembered what fee had said earlier. "Okay Boy I need you to take this to mom and dad for me. Can you do that?" she asked the owl. He softly nipped her hand, stuck out his leg for the letter and was off before she knew it. She smiled as she watched him soar throught the night

"Vernir ici, Cupid!" Anais called loudly, and her elf owl appeared on her shoulder. She scribbled down a private note to her mother in France and tied it to Cupid's leg, giving him a small kiss on the head and watching him fly away.

It had only been about a day at this new school and she was already missing her freinds at her old school She thought she might as well send them a letter being that she was so not into her family much anymore. Her freinds back home were the only people in her life that she cared to keep in contact with and thus she wrote a letter about her first impression of Hogwarts and tied the parchment to an owls leg. She then watched the bird take bird off on its way and she smiled feeling the happiest she'd been since she got to Hogwarts.

MEh, not even a DAY and Kodes already NEEDED to Owl her two favorite boys; Orlando and Uncle Sean. She missed them. Like a lot, a lot a lot. Oreocakes shoulda come WITH her. Sighhhh. But she understood that he had a big plate alright. So she wasn't mad at him. Nope. She didn't get mad at him a lot anyways.

Drawing her fingers to her lips and giving a sharp whistle, Kodykins waited for Duch to fly down from the rafters.

OWLS. BIG SCARY OWLS.

Okaaaaayyyy....so owls weren't that big but they were still pretty scary to Savannah Conrad. They could like poke you with their nose beak things and POOP on your head! Not cool, not cool. She did need to send a letter to Cody though so she kind of had to get over the whole bird fear thing. Sigh. This proved how much she really did care for Cody. She was willing to get pooped on by owls just to talk to him.

Oh hey, it was the other Russell! Nekoda Russell as in, Savannah's best friend who was kind of mad at her right now! Wait, was she still mad ? Savannah didn't know any more. She wasn't going to act all scared though so she walked up to the girl, smiling.

"Going to write Orlando, hmm ?"Aw, her baby brother. Savannah did love her brother lots.

Pamphylia reallly wanted to send this note to her mother. There was so much to tell her!! The triwizard tournament, her soarting, and her new friends.

"Tahlia!" She called out. Her Tawny owl was almost imidiatly on her shoulder. "Mother." She said as she tied the note to Tahia's leg. Tahlia nibbled her finger, affectionatly, and Pam pet her. She was off, carrying the note to her mother.

Kody spun around hearing a familiar voice, and smiled, nodding happily. "Of course! Oreocakes and Uncle Sean! I miss them already." Giving a slight sigh, before spotting Savannah's letter, Kody fought off a bad mood, turning back to look at Duch who was flying to her. AWhh, Kodes loved her little elfish owl. "I don't even wanna know who your writing do I?" Meh.

Shaking her head, Kody didn't wanna fight again, so she plastered a smile and turned back. "OMG Savannah! Superrrrr cute guy at Hufflepuff table that I just met. Seriously, he's to die for. I might just make him my flirt!buddy."

Uncle Sean and Oreocakes? Yeah, Savannah wasn't exactly surprised. Those two were Nekoda Russell's main men, Savannah was unsure how she was going to survive the term without them. Hehhh."I miss Orlando..."Sav said, honestly. She did love her brother a lot, picking favorite was mean and all but she really did like her brother more than her little sister. Xiomara was such a brat. Hehhhe. Kody knew it perfect. They knew each other well didn't they? "Mhm..."Savannah wasn't going to say anymore cause if she said more Nekoda would get mad and that just wouldn't be fun.

Cute guy ? Huffie ?"Give me DETS, girl!"Savannah said a smile breaking out on her face. Was it weird the fact that Nekoda was totally dating Orlando was flirting with other boys? Not really, well....not to Savannah anyway. Hehh."What's his name? What's he look like ?"Gah, she was so curious.

Nekoda nodded, biting her lip, "Yeah. I miss him too. A lot." Mehh, but it was only a year. And there were owls, and she'd see him during holiday too...right? Of course! Frowning she nodded, Cody. Ew?

But no, they weren't talking about, they were talking about Hufflepuff hottie. Mmm. "Tehe, his name is Beck Salvatore. The smexiest accent you will EVER come across. Amazing hair, and his eyes? to DIE for. Seriously." SO. CUTE.

Savannah chuckled as Nekoda spoke so fondly of her brother. She was just used to it by now, Kody had always had a thing for Orlando even when they were younger."Well, just remember he is suffering along with you..."Savannah said, looking down at the ground as she tried to remind herself BIRDS weren't flying every where! Savannah Conrad realllllllly didn't like birds, nopers. Savvy rolled her eyes as Nekoda frowned. Why did she had to be so mean to Cody ? Cody wasn't that bad, Savannah really liked him. Kody was probably just jealous or something. <_<

......Beck? Oh. Crap. This wasn't good. Why you ask? BECK WAS HER EX AND EXES ARE JUST LIKE OFFLIMITS TO FRIENDS, THATS JUST LIKE THE RULES OF FEMINISM! Savannah smelled drama, like a lot of it. The worst part was? Her and Beck's relationship was a bit of a secret at Hogwarts so kody didn't know. This was going to be hard to explain...


"Ohhh....I know him."COUGH."I dated him after Aiden and I broke up...."

Kody frowned, "I know, but WHY do we have to suffer. I wish your parents woulda allowed you both to come." But they didn't. Oh well, Kody still loved them. Well, at least she still loved Mrs. R. "Justtt a year. That's my new mantra." Tehe, giggle.

Huh? She...knew him? Frowning Kody crossed her arms, "And WHY don't you seem excited for me?" Of course she wouldn't actually DATE him, because she loved Oreo, but she WOULD flirt a little. Erm, a lot? Yeah.

WHOA WHAT!? "You...did...WHAT!? Why the hell was I never informed of this! Jeez Sav! And you get mad at ME for keeping one night a secret. You didn't tell me about an entire RELATIONSHIP." Hmph. Hypocrite.

"Mom, not my parents."Savannah correct Nekoda, looking at the ground. Her father actually made no decision in the whole going to school things, he was too busy in Spain or something. It made Savannah frown just thinking about it. She missed being all perfect not this mess of awesomeness. :/ Unfortunately for her though, there was nothing she could do about it!

Wince.

Mal. This was Mal which meant bad, very bad.

"It wasn't like that! We had our reasons for keeping it a secret!"Savannah said, snapping at Nekoda. What was up with her and getting mad at her for EVERYTHING she did? It got kind of annoyed."I think you are just jealous in all honesty."The blonde said, her voice monotone. She shrugged, who wouldn't be jealous of her?

O_O I see Spanish. it makes my head hurt. LOL!
 

Nekoda winced, biting her lip and nodding, "I'm sorry Savannah. I shouldn't have said that." Because it was MEAN and INSENSTIVE and Kody usually wasn't that to those she actually cared about. Like the Conrad's. "How are you doing with that anyways?"

Wait...what? Nekoda blinked, shaking her head, "Oh? And I didn't have MY reasons for not telling YOU?" Erm, yeah? She had. And they were prettehhhh big. Huge really. Jealous? "Get OVER yourself. I don't NEED to be jealous of you. Wanna know why? Because I have a boyfriend who LOVES me. Not multiples who only want me for my body." Sure, there were guys that DID want her for her body, but she really couldn't blame them.

LOL. xD I love how she is saying sorry and then getting all mad.
 

Savannah shrugged her shoulders, "Okay I guess."Savannah really didn't want to talk about it, it was a touchy and not so happy subject. The blonde bit her lip, looking down at the ground still. Things still weren't going so swell at home. Savannah's head shot up as Nekoda spoke. WOAH.Someone was bitter? Savannah raised an brow, listening to the girl speak. "And I had my reasons for not telling you about Beck..."Savannah said, shaking her head. Really? Really? Really? A fight with her bestie? This was an awful way to start the term, it really was.

"Take that back."Savannah said, looking at her friend. It wasn't the truth, guys actually liked her they weren't using her for snogs or anything."Aiden liked me for more than that, so did Beck as well as Cody."Uh on.She mentioned Cody, she pretty much shot herself in the foot right there.

Emmy rushed into the Owlery, clutching a piece of folded parchment in her hand. Desperately she looked round for her owl, Dapple.
Finally, she spotted her, far above her head in the rafters.
"Come on, Dapple, there's a good girl! Oh, please come down, Dapple! I have to get this letter to mum!" she pleaded with her bird, who eventually consented to descend, and stuck out her leg. Emmy tied the letter on securely, and whispered to Dapple, "Fly as quick as you can, get a reply, and fly back straight away - I have to know how daddy is..." she ran to a window, released the owl, and watched until she became a dot, then a speck, and finally vanished into the evening sky. Turning, Emmy walked slowly and thoughtfully back down.

Iris practically skipped all the way to the Owlery. She wanted, no NEEDED to owl her Mum before someone else did.

When she was in the Owlery, she smiled at the people who were already in here, raising her eyebrow slightly as she heard snippets of the conversation. Ah... it wasn't worth butting into. Wands were still away and hair was intact. With a little smirk on her face, feeling quite sure that she'd NEVER need to have THAT argument for herself, Iris skipped up some steps to find the usual owl that she borrowed from the Owlery.

"Heeey there, Roger. C'mere boy." She coo'd a little to get the owl to come to her. "Look, I have an important letter for you to send home for me."

Heh. That works EVERY TIME. Only, this time it actually WAS important. Iris let the owl fly onto her shoulder and then sat down and took the letter out.

She checked over it, to make sure that it was okay, before letting the owl take it. "Don't lose it now, okay? My mum needs to get this letter. I'll get you some owl treats for when you get back, too." Hehe. Roger was awesome. And the reason why she didn't want to get her own owl. He was practically hers.

Nekoda shook her head, ignoring the statement about her family. Now was not the time to be sympathetic, when what she REALLEH wanted was to like, transfigure Savannah's shoes into UGLY things. HMPH! "You can be such a hypocrite Sav." Oh merlin, what a WONDERFUL way to start the year. Best friends fighting. Lovely.

Crossing her arms, she shook her head, "No. I won't. Because it's entirely TRUE." Cody?! CODY!? "Uhm, EW! And besides, I still think YOUR his rebound hook up after that cow Delanie left him. That doesn't scream 'love' to me. As for Aiden, he DUMPED you." Oh jeez, she was on a roll now. "And Beck? He was probably YOUR little rebound after Aiden. Face it Savannah, you hate being alone so you occupy yourself with little flings that mean NOTHING. Why would I be jealous of that?"

Eye roll. What was up with Kody? Why was she so bitter about everything? It made no sense to Savannah at all. Can't she just be happy for her friend for once and not CARE who she wanted to snog? It was Cody, who wasn't even that bad, she never understood why they fought. "I'm not a hypocrite, you could at least TRY and accept the fact that I like Cody..."Savannah said looking at Nekoda. Of course, she liked Aiden more but there were feelings there for Cody.

Savannah stood, mouth hanging open. She was shocked, utterly shocked at what Kody had just said. It stung too, it stung a lot. She wasn't even sure how to respond to that? This wasn't Ella saying this, this was Nekoda her best friend. Savannah shook her head, "Your wrong."The blonde shook her head and started to walk out of the room, tears in her eyes.

Nekoda shook her head, letting out a harsh laugh. "Yeah right. Cause you actually like him? Isn't he just your little fill in for Aiden?" Not that she cared. It'd be cool to see Cody get hurt, but still SNOGGING her cousin was just wayyyyy too gross.

Okay, so maybeeee Kody had gone a little too far, but her pride kept her from apologizing. Was she being a cow? Yep. A BIG FAT HUGE ONE. But she wasn't going to admit that in front of Savannah. Kodah watched her friend turn, and start heading out of the Owlery, and Kody bit her lip. Apologize? No. That wasn't an option. "I don't think I am."

Pam dragged her into the owlry.

"First stop, owlry!!" She turned around, and let go of Liz's wrist. "Whoops, sorry. I just got really excited." She laughed, and blushed a little, in embarrisment. "Tahlia!" She called, turning her attention to the owls. Searching for her brown-tawny owl. Ah! There she was. Tahlia landed on Pam's out-stretched arm, and stuck out her leg. A letter was attached from it.

"That was fast. Geeze my moms talented. This is a letter from her." She stuffed the letter inside her robes, careful not to drop, so she'll read it later. "Here, just tie the letter onto her leg."

Liz felt the blood rush back to her fingertips when Pam let go, but it didn't bother her that she almost lost feeling permanently in them. She was having too much fun! Pam blushed and Liz smiled. She was so happy!

When Pam called out her owl's name, it gracefully landed on Pam's arm. Liz had always thought owls were so beautiful. This owl, Tahlia, already had a letter tied to its leg. Pam took it off and said it was from her mom. Liz watched her tuck it into her robes, and felt a pang of... jealousy. Pam's mom could write letters to her without bursting into tears and blotting the ink.

Liz wondered if her mother would ever be able to write her a letter.

Following Pam's instructions, she tied the letter addressed to her dad to the owl's leg and gave it a stroke on its soft feathers.

"Thanks," Liz turned to Pam, "Where did you get the name 'Tahlia?' It's really pretty."

Pam watched as Liz tied the letter to Tahlia's leg. Tahlia went to peck at Liz's finger, but Pam pulled her arm back.

"Bad Tahlia. Don't do that to others. Just me." Pam held out her finger so Tahlia nibbled it in affection. She rustled her feathers, and with a little push of her arm, Tahlia was off. "Sorry 'bout that. She likes to nibble my finger when a letter is sent, kinda like, 'yes i know where i'm going' kinda thing." She showed Liz her few scratches on her finger. "But that's ok. I need to find like some treats for her." She smiled.

"So who were you sending that to? Your mom?"
