Enter the Runes classroom, and the chalkboard directs you to the grounds. Here, a safe distance away from the Tree-that-loves-to-whomp, is an enclosure-of-sorts. Desks are set here, in neat rows. On each, there is a covered plate that contains two cookies. Next to each plate, is a note that reads:

Even though they were sitting a far distance from the Whomping Willow, Destiny was STILL scared. She couldn't help but staaaare at the tree as it moved to and fro and..did it just whomp at a bird?
Or an owl?
Oh well. As long as it wasn't her owl, she cared not. Sitting herself down in the seat next to Evelyn, Destiny placed her bag down and looked at her desk..COOKIES! It was a good thing the note was spotted or else the cookies would have disappeared right into her mouth. And what do you know? She had to make the cookies disappear anyway. That meant she couldn't eat them..
..since they wouldn't disappear permanently.
Hmm.. Before making her own disappear, Destiny watched everyone rid themselves of their cookies. Evelyn had thrown hers, and other people were using magic.. Picking up the first, she stuffed it up her sleeve. There. That would be the one that would be brought back..that's if it didn't get squashed first.. The note didn't say it had to be brought back the same way it disappeared though.
And now to disappear one permanently.
Picking the other cookie up, she crumbled it in her hand before standing from her desk to scatter the crumbs around.
Gone cookie, gone.

It was Runes time!!!!
Josh was, this time, eager to join the lesson because it was outside and the Gryffindor boy liked outdoor classes quite much. Actually he liked anything outdoors unless it snowed. He definitely did not like snow. But of course this did not mean he disliked snowball fights.
Whatever...
Snow had nothing to do with this class so, as the boy approached the area where the class would be held, he tried to focus on that fact. Snow and cold had nothing to do with the class. Hehehe. Then walking to the seats, he chose one close to Evelyn and...
COOKIE!!!!! YAY!!!
The moment he saw the cookies, the Gryffindor boy immediately ate one of them and when he was about to bite the other his dark brown eyes caught the sight of the note. Oh?! Hmmmm!
Okay. One of them was permanently gone so how about the other? Looking around him, he put the cookie on the seat and sat on it. Now it was nowhere in sight, was it? Bahaha

Brittany saw Em and Fee and waved at her two friends. She began thinking somemore bout the temporary solutions. She had read about ome transportaion spells but they seemed to be about more about transporting people rather than a cookie. And even if she could use it on a cookie there was no guarantee she could pull it off let alone make it come back. Decisions Decisons
Fee noticed Britt sitting at one of the desks.
Oh she was waving. Aww such a cutie.
Fee smiled at her fabbi and waved back.
Now that both of her cookies were gone. Luna looked around the class to see how the others were doing. She almost burst out laughing as one of the boys seemed to be eating a cookie. Wait, was he going to steal a cookie? Luna had a much simplier solution. "Hey, I'm Luna, and I might have a way to help," she smiled. She took one of the remaining cookies from the plate. "Geminio," she said. The cookie duplicated. She repeated the incantation and two extra cookies were left on the table.
Jacob jumped as someone spoke to him... They didn't see him steal it, did they.
Crap! She did.
Jacob bit his lip and looked at he for a few second... "Jacob." he said. Help what? He already stole the cookie... wait! "NO!!!!" but it was too late
"Great! Thanks!" he said sarcasticly. "Now I have more cookies to hide" cause he didn't know how long her duplications would last. he was really starting to dispise these new students. When he was their age, he didn't act like he knew everything! In fact, he was completely mostly stupid. and he wasn't going to act smart. But He learned. And with that knowledge, he could apply it!......... Properly!
But Jacob wasn't angry at the little girl... he was angry at the parents of this little girl who tried to make her into a know-it-all, but didn't teach her what consequences can occure. And anyways, "duplicated objects don't stay long." so if she intended for him to hide it or eat it, it was a bad idea. If he hid it and the professor asked for the cookies, and he couldn't give it to her because it disappeared, and if he ate it, its not like he could, it would disappear without even filling him up.
Putting the duplicated cookie on the plate he stole from (so it would disappear for the person who sat there permanently), Jacob leaned back.. and put the cookie he stole in his mouth... his cheeks bloated
He didn't chew or swallow it. It was gonna stay in his mouth. and when she asked for it, he'd just take the salivah covered cookie out of his mouth. See... He WAS stupid. But he applied his newly found smart-icles, and he even though of the consequences. his he ate it by accident, he'd fail the class.... good incentive not to eat it.
He was now breathing heavily through his nose, cause he couldn't breath through his mouth.
Make a cookie disappear? Permanently? Temporarily? Hmm.
Tory thought about this for a while and then decided upon using her wand. She pointed it at one of the cookies and said: "Parvus Bombarda". There was a small explosion on her desk leaving behind a small pile of ashes.
She smiled to herself. The smaller version of the 'Bombarda' spell still worked, she blew up an apple with it seven years ago. Not on purpose pf course.
Then she pointed her wand at the second cookie. "Reducio." she murmured. The cookie shrunk down until it was only the size of a dust particle.
She smiled, satisfaction written all over her face.

Why couldn't professors use the notice boards in the common rooms to tell them when classes were going to be held someplace other than in the classroom? Is it that hard for them to put a note there too instead of just on the classroom door? Maybe she did and Marie just forgot to look this morning. Why was class outside in December anyway?

Finally making her way out to the Whomping Willow where class was being held today she was pleased to see that at least they has desks and didn't have to sit on the ground that was covered with snow. Spotting Evan sitting in the front why is he in the front? she went and sat next to him. "Hi," she said as she put her bag on her lap since there was a plate on the desk preventing her from putting it there and she didn't want to drop it in the snow.
Why was there a plate on her desk?
Oh right, read the note. That would help.

After reading the note she took the cover off the plate. Yep, there were two cookies there alright. Now to get rid of them. This should be pretty easy.
She could just eat one of them to make it disappear for good, but she wasn't hungry. Looking over at Evan she noticed that he didn't have his hood on. Hmm, she could hide a cookie there. While he was busy making a hole in the ground she carefully dropped one of her cookies in his hood. Now hopefully he wouldn't want to put it on and make the cookie fall out.
With one cookie hid she now needed to make the other one disappear for good. Taking out her wand she was about to vanish it when... "Hey, bring that back," she shouted. A bird had swooped down and grabbed her cookie. Well how was she going to vanish it now? She couldn't very well say it was gone forever. If the bird dropped it somewhere near the class then it wouldn't be gone, just moved. Pointing her wand at the bird she was about to summon the cookie back when... too late. The bird dropped it, right over the whomping willow.
SMACK!
The tree hit the cookie so hard that it almost instantly disintigrated in thin air. Well, looks like that cookie isn't coming back.
hmm, Emmaleigh had been contemplating her dilemma for some time. She should probably just eat the one cookie. After all, it did look super tasty, and Emmaleigh ALWAYS loved to eat food! So she picked it up and nibbled on it. What to do with the cookie that needed to reappear seemed just as difficult at first. After all, Em was just a first year, and would deffinately not be able to pull of a spell to get rid of it. So she had decided to hide it. And as for where to hide it, that part was easy. Em always snacks around with her, so she would just place it in her bag with the rest of them.*nod* that seemed like a good plan to her.

Whatever though. Picking up a cookie, she held it up at eyes' height, before stuffing it in her bag. There. It's disappeared. Voila! The other cookie however, how to make it disappear permanently without eating it? Because she could not remember the vanishing charm at the moment. Or even remember if she learned it yet. Read about it yes, learned it, no.
...Picking up the cookie, the Slytherin stood up and moved outside before throwing the cookie as hard as she could. There. It disappeared. Permanently. A bird will probably pick it up.
Hehe.
Kurumi took a seat and saw the scary Slytherin girl holding a cookie and she *gasp* threw it!? Kurumi was about to say what a waste that was when she noticed the professor's sign and took two cookies herself. One had to disappear permanently? Hmmm....she hadn't really had time to eat breakfast, so she popped one into her mouth. Yummy! Was the flavor lemon? What to do with the other cookie....figuring class was going to start soon, she put the cookie in her robes pocket and got her things out for class to begin.

She saw Kurmi [who she'd made an absolutely awesomesauce tent with last lesson] and.. nobody else. Heh. It seemed they'd all NOT come to Runes. BUT it was funnnn! *pout*
Sitting down, cross-legged, she waited for the Professor to start the class.

OOC: Class will start properly in a few hours. Chatting between characters is fine in small amounts. Andddd remember, creativity = points.
Salander strolled into the Runes, smirking at the Whomping Willow in the background. He would've tried to dare it again but he didnt feel like getting dirty. At least not until after class.
His eyes fell on the table with the cookie plates. What is it about this school and sweets? he mused as he read the Professor's instructions. He furrowed his brow as he took the first cookie "Make you disappear any which way huh? " he addressed the cookie. That's easy.
*CHOMP, CHOMP*
There disappeared.
He took a second cookie and stared at it for a while. He was actually thinking of eating it too, because he can bring it back-- although it wouldnt look anything like a cookie.
It would also be gross.
Thinking of a less disgusting way of making the cookie temporarily disappear, Salander selected a seat and started to dig the dirt with his shoe. When the hole was deep enough he buried the cookie and kicked the dirt back in place. There temporarily disappeared. Now lets just hope he can bring it back before the ants makes sure that doesnt happen.

Redirected from the Runes classroom to the grounds, Fletcher carefully walked toward the Whomping Willow, exercising great caution in his steps. He had heard Things about this tree, its attitude problem, and its apparent liking for chocolate and small children.
The boy was rather surprised to find desks all set up a good distance from the tree, and he sat down happily. Now what was this? A covered plate.... hmm.... they were allowed to peek, right? Fletcher spared a glance at the note beside his plate and then eagerly tore the covering off his plate. COOOOOKEIS! Cookies cookies cookies om nom nom nom nom!!!!!!
Fletcher had both cookies, one in each hand, halfway to his open mouth before his brain registered the note. He was only to make one disappear permanently?! But how to choose.... just one?! That was so unfair to the other!
"Sorry bud," he sniffled and apologized to Cookie #1 as he took a giant bite out of it. That would be the one he'd make permanently disappear via digestion, which, all things considered, was really only temporarily. It just wouldn't smell or uh, look like a cookie when it made its reappearance.
Heh.
Now how to make Cookie #2 disappear, so that he would forget about it for now? That was the hard part. Once Fletcher had a bit of food in his hand, he was loathe to let it go. He was practically having a one-on-one war between his hand holding the cookie and his mouth trying to eat said cookie. OMMMMMMMMM. The boy's jaws snapped empty air as he pretended to bite the cookie.
No no. Good cookie. Hide the cookie. Fletcher looked all around the great outdoors and thought he might have seen a bird's nest in a tree out yonder. Hmm. A bird's nest. That was good inspiration. His hair sometimes looked like a bird's nest after a few days of no showering! Yeah!
Beaming proudly at his solution, Fletcher lifted up his wizard cap and quickly hid the cookie in his hair. Perfect. The boy replaced his hat and then rested his chin in his hand. All done.
Now he just had to forget about the yummyness hiding in his shiny, handsome hair. Cookies were good for the locks, right?

Vilhelmiina thought about the professors note. 'One cookie has to disappear permanently, the other, temporarily.' She knew how to make the first one disappear. She doesn't really like most sweets, but she ate the cookie anyway. It was pretty good. The second one she had to bring back on request. She thought about it for a second. 'My pockets are pretty big, the cookie could fit in there.' So she put the cookie in her pocket and waited for class to begin.

Hands in his pockets as always, Willie marched into the class with absolute confidence. He glowed with so much confidence that some might think he was actually passing this class and getting high grades.
Riiight.
The moment his eyes had fallen upon the desks, his jaw dropped. He also remembered he was quite hungry. Very, very hungry. In fact, his stomach made a loud grumbling noise that would have made woodland creatures run into the forest from fear. And yes, he was exaggerating in his mind.
He chose a desk he felt comfortable at, sat in front of it and eyed the cookies on the plate. Willie lowered his head, his eyes on the same level as the cookies. This... this felt suspicious to him. Then again, cookies were still cookies. He sat back up, looked at the people around him, then back at the cookies. It was then did he find the note. Willie frowned as he picked up the note, and when reading what the professor asked he slowly grinned.
This, what the professor was asking, was his profession. PFFFFFT. Was he even serious?!
Willie stood up, and while glancing around the room, his hand swiftly picked up one cookie and stuffed it in his behind. It was the safest place he could think of. No one would ever suspect someone hiding a cookie there. He snickered.
As for the permanently, Willie grabbed the other cookie and stared at it. You'd think he was trying to zap it off the face of the desk with his laser beam eyes, but no. No. Never. Instead, he balled his hand into a fist and began smashing it against the desk, crushing the cookie into tiny little pieces.
"NWAHAHAHA," he laughed manically, forgetting he was in class in the first place.
Alexandrie walked into the classroom and read the board and thought about the problem before grabbing her wand, what was that one spell again the one to cause an item to be hidden.. Hmm.. well one could be vanished but that had already been thought of no doubt so so getting rid of both cookies.. hmm.. she couldn't think of something else so "Evanesco." Alex whispered carefully vanishing one of the cookies and grabbed the last and hid it one of her note books she never used and slid the note book into her big bag that unless the Professor could see through objects wouldn't be able to see it. She put her wand away behind her ear like normal waiting for the Professor to show up.
Patroclus arrived at the Runes Enclosure, quite perplexed at what they were doing in the grounds, especially after the last lesson. However it chalked it up to the fact that Runes were the language of nature, so it was probably best to be outside when learning about them.....right?

Wither her dark blue jumper on above her robes and the Ravvie scarf around her neck, Louisa made it to class without turning into a snowgirl. Cheers. She quickly took a seat while her gaze roamed the location. No professor made a nice time to take a nap before the hard work. It wasn't her fault that heavy clothes made her sleepy, ok?
She was about to make her arms as a pillow on the desk when she saw a note. Reading it quickly she groaned. A task even before the start of this class? Ugh. She re read the thing to make sure that the teacher didn't ask them to eat both cookies. Of course he didn't, it was class and it was supposed to be fun-free. Yeah she was in a rather bad mood. Blame Kitty.
She took hold of one of the cookies and stared at it coldly. One bite and the cookie was gone. Forever.

Aaah. Now she was better. Naughty cookie fought back, eh? Louisa grinned darkly, she won at the end. She glanced at the other one. Now, how was she supposed to make this one disappear temporarily? She could hide it underneath her robes and then get it out but that'd work in her old muggle-school. Time to take help from others. Smirk.
Looking around her she noticed a nearby boy doing a spell, she leant closer enough to hear the incantation -not wanting to repeat her failure attempt of charms- and he was clear enough. Evanesco. She repeated it under her breath. "Er... hi. Cold weather today, eh?" Like I'm sorry I stole your idea fellow student. Well, she didn't want to seem so fighy leaning over his seat that way. Whatever.
She turned back to her cookie and, "Evanesco!" She muttered smiling as the spell worked perfectly. She should thank the boy later, she made a mental note. Her mental book was full now. Meh.
