Good student, this one. Di smiiiled at her. "Have a nice day, Miss Schwarzberg," she said pleasantly.

She just had to enjoy it all in moderation. "Thanks Professor. Have a good day." She left the makeshift classroom and gave a glance to the box of chocolates that she didn't claim, but what is in the box was probably enough to last her a few months.

"You too, Miss Rohdes."

Indeed.

Say what?! They had special flavored ink and quills! Kurumi immediately took out her wand and tapped her box three times as instructed and looked in to see that its contents didn't look much different from regular quills and ink. She picked up her quill and looked at it. Maaaaaaybe it had a bit of a pink tinge to it. Shyly, she took a quick lick of the feather end and her eyes bugged out of her head. It tasted like strawberries! She then took out her ink and saw that it was a dark black color. She quickly opened it up and was happy to smell a nice chocolate aroma.

"Thank you very much, professor," Kurumi smiled bowing slightly. Mazes were so much fun! "Oh, before I go, do you happen to have that cookie recipe?"

The smile that the corners of Di's lips tugged up into, was very genuine. "I do, Miss Hollingberry. Drop by my office, any time you're free." You couldn't expect her to have the recipe on her all the time, could you?

"Thanks professor it was an a-mazing class" she said

Cass smiled at Professor Di. "Thanks for the awesome lesson professor. I was almost there...Too bad.."

LUlu had nibbled on one cookie and hid the other. she did make them dissapear. but in her own muggle way of thinking about it. she then placed on cookie on the desk and looked around. taping it with her wand lightly she made it dissapear and she smiled lightly. "yummy cookies." she added and smiled looking for the teacher.

Nibbling on some chocolate and missing his new friend, the willow, Patroclus began to pack up his things. Walking from the room, he smiled at the Professor, "Thanks for another great lesson Professor! Say goodbye to the Willow from me!"

Downing the chocolate in his hand in one go, Patroclus skipped from the room!

CORRECT! One of the branches reached out to give GLITTER YELLOW a veryyyy gentle pat on the back. Then all the branches rose into the air and disappeared out of sight, allowing light to stream freely into the roofless enclosure once more.

The door swung open so that GLITTER YELLOW could go throuugghh.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! Fletcher finally got it right! The Hufflepuff grinned broadly and almost didn't flinch as the scary!tree touched him. Sure sure it was a gentle pat on the back but that didn't mean he had to like it. He just had something about plants thanks to the first task. Mistrust. Mhmm.

The door in front of him swung open and Fletcher quickly scampered through, looking forward to the next riddle. But just as he stood up to look for the next riddle....

Yes, the tunnels and doors had all disappeared. The students could now all come into the makeshift classroom on the grounds, the one that contained cushions, a desk that sported several boxes of chocolates, and the students who had been able to find the 'exit' by themselves.

Stepping into the classroom, Di glanced around. Some of them seemed rather.... relieved to be out of the maze. "There are chocolates in these boxes..." The Professor stated the obvious, glancing at the biiig boxes on her desk. "If anyone wants but hasn't grabbed some already, feel free to now. Other than that... class is dismissed, you may head back to the castle. Homework will be put up on the Runes noticeboard, later today."

Was she forgetting something? Di frowwwwned slightly. Ah yes!

".... and don't forget the boxes you picked up at the end of the maze, either. Three taps of the wand should open them. They contain flavoured ink and quills - in case there are students who haven't purchased or heard of those before, no, those are not meant to serve as stationery -" Not that she had a problem if someone wanted to use a chocolate quill to take notes - "Most of the boxes contain chocolate-flavoured items, but there are a few other flavours... at any rate, if you don't like the flavour you've gotten, you can always get your box exchanged."

So. That was it.

"You've all done a splendid job. Have a good day, all of you."

Di smiled lightly.

...the doors and branches and riddles and tunnels and everything just disappeared. Awww. Boo.

Fletcher trudged back to the makeshift classroom and pocketed quite a few chocolates. He shoved one in his mouth and nodded to the professor.

"Gweat wesson, ma'am," he managed to speak through his mouth of chocolate as he headed back to the castle. "Jus' wish I could've gotten frooo th' maze."

"Effort counts more than success if you ask me, Miss Prewett," Di said pleasantly. "I hope you'll help yourself to a box on your way out." She patted one of the boxes on the desk. Sugar quills and chocolate-flavoured ink and all that. Nice things, in Di's opinion.

Then again, opinions can differ... first and last reason Di knew she would never mandate something such as chocolate-consumption!

"I hope the lesson has encouraged you to pay the Willow a visit sometime, Mr. Hudson," Di grinned at the Gryffindor. "It likes company... as long as said company follows its rules."

Tough cookie, that tree. But Di liked it.

Slipping his wand up from his back pocket, Salander tapped it thrice on the box, the lid flipping open to reveal the chocolate goodies. The lad smiled. He wasnt much of a sweet tooth, but these would make some pretty good gifts, and he knew of a lot of students who would appreciate the delicate confectionery. Replacing the lid back then tucking the box under his arm, he picked up his stuff and walked by the Professor "That was an awesome lesson Ma'am. Thank you! And for the gift too!" he smiled, tapping the box lightly.

Roselyn 10-10-2010 07:36 AM

The boxes had sweets in them?

CHOCOLATE flavored sweets...

Evelyn was beginning to not like this professor. She just gave Destiny a whole box of chocolate, and if Evelyn didn't catch it in time, she would not be sleeping for a week. It was Professor MarkHavoc's fault too! Staring at the box, she didn't even want to open it.

Standing up, the Slytherin grabbed her bag and slung it over her should before picking up the box. It would be rude to give it back though. She supposed it was some sort of gift, and it was not polite manners to give a gift back, not matter how much you didn't like it. "Great lesson Professor." she said kindly. Yes, she was holding the box out in front of her as if it had a disease.

"Have a nice day." Whomping willow...*shudder* "And thanks for the...box." Mmhmm. Maybe she could give it to a firstie Huffie. Get them on a sugar rush right before a class. Mwaha! Genius idea.

WeasleyObsession7 10-10-2010 11:15 PM

Sophia grabbed a box. "Great lesson Professor." she said, smiling. "Thank you for the treats!" she said, smiling. Oh, yes. This will be fun to use later.

Yourenodaisy 10-11-2010 01:02 AM

Emmaleigh watched from her cushion as the maze disappeared, and waited for more instructions. Once the class was dismissed, she picked up her bag, and newly acquired box full of treats, and walked up to the professor. "Thank you for the awesome lesson professor, and the treats too" She said with a smile, before walking back up to the castle.
