..or not.

More words appeared, making Destiny, once again, forget about the cookie.

Easy stuff!

Placing the cookie in her mouth, she stuck her hand in the rune bag and pulled out the Dagaz rune.

The tree was so patient.

STRANGE!NICE GREEN had fitted in the correct ruuune. The branches rose into the air to unblock the door that had now swung open. Behind it could be seen a long, well-lit tunnel that had a big box located at the end. The said box read...

Pick me up.

As the branches from the tree let her pass, Destiny expected to see more maze like passageways. But, she was wrong. Instead, there was a tunnel and she did not hesitate to walk down it. She had noticed the big box down yonder and she wanted it.

Making her way down, she stopped right in front of it. Not wanting to disrespect the tree by not following it's orders, she picked up the box.

Too bad it didn't tell her to open it up.

GOODBYE NICE GREEN! One of the branches reaaached out and wrapped itself around STRANGE!NICE!GREEN in a veryyy loooooose, verrryyy gentle sort of hug for a moment.

Anddd the moment the Slytherin picked up the box, she was quietly transported outside the maze and into a classroom of sorts - a classroom of sorts that had clearly begun to fill up, given the students that had been transported here in the past twenty minutes. Cushions, a desk and a chalkboard had been placed here. The desk bore several boxes of chocolate.

The chalkboard read:

Congratulations! You are now outside the maze! Please make yourself comfortable as you wait for your classmates to join you. You may help yourself to some chocolate.

The box the girl had picked up, rested next to her.

OOC: If your character is still inside the maze, please note that you have about twelve more hours to complete the task before the lesson moves on. ^___^

Laaaaast doooOoor! Branches slowwwwly came down again, another keyhole visible through them. Letters began to appear on the floor, once again...

The farmer.

Jera or Dagaz? The tree waaaaaaaiiiited!
Daisy quickly pulled out a Jera rune and placed it into the little key hole. Harvest and farmer are on in the same.

Fee waved good bye and instantly found herself in a room again.
Oh seemed like all the students that made it trough the maze were here.
She was really proud thats she had actually made it. Again it was proved that she had chosen the right fave subject.

Approaching a corner full with cushions she happy sighed and wondered if any of here friends already were here.

Oh thank goodness!!

Trixie wasn't doing TOO badly at all. Well lets just say she hadn't got an answer wrong AND she hadn't been attacked by the tree. She was perfectly safe. Well good. And the tree wasn't half bad at all, despite things she had read or heard. Hmm...

Then again, was it whomping that Hufflepuff over there?

Err... O_O

Moving on.

Trixie walked through the door and looked around. Okay so NOW where was she? As she had done before, the Blonde wandered through the maze until she came to a halt quickly taking in her surroundings.

Last doooOoor for PRETTY GREEN! This time, the letters that appeared on the floor as a door - its keyhole visible through a jumble of branches - popped up, were...

Clear vision to avoid danger.

Jera or Dagaz? The tree waaaiiited!

So was this the last door then? Just this one last riddle type thing and she would be free from the maze. Well, GREAT! But that meant she still had to get past this last question.

Hmm.....?

The Blonde had to think about this momentarily before she made her final answer. Right well lets eliminate this, she was pretty sure that Dagaz was about light and leading you away from danger. So that meant that a clear light leading you away would mean pretty much the same as a clear vision from danger.

So it was DAGAZ!! Hadn't the last two questiosn for her been Dagaz as well? Eh, well obviously she suited that rune. Teehee. The sixteen year old picked up the correct rune and placed it in the keyhole.

Now door....OPEN!

Please? *Pout*

YAAAAAAY!

The door had been unblocked. Provided that was what was SUPPOSED to happen. That was the way out right? RIGHT?! Well she was going to take the exit anyway. And conveniently the door had already swung open for her to pass through.

Trixie walked down the long tunnel until she reached the box at the very end. Pick me up?

O_O

Sounded like something out of Alice in Wonderland. Ah well, the Blonde picked up the box and waited for whatever was supposed to happen.

Oh the anticipation.

Lottiepot 10-08-2010 10:42 PM

She actually was getting quite fond of the tree. But it was waving her goodbye. Huh? Well it was certainly polite she would give it that

Oh....

O_O

Err...Where was she going? Eh actually this was kinda fun. The Blonde felt herself suddenly transported off out of the maze thing. Was that box a Portkey of some sorts? Trixie took in her surroundings quickly, she was in a classroom. Must of been the Runes Classroom, or a reshuffled variation of the Runes Classroom anyway.

Well that was fun. The Sixteen year old read the message on the chalkboard but pouted slightly as she read the last word.

Why was it always chocolate? True it was HER choice to be Vegan, but still, it meant she never got anything. The girl blanked out the fact there was chocolate on the desks, never interested her anyway and sat down on one of the cushions waiting for the rest of the students to leave their little challenge.

Patroclus' face lit up as the branches part and allowed him to exit the maze. Turning around, he waved at the Willow, "Bye....thank you!" They were now the best of friends!

Walking down the tunnel, the boy was puzzled to find a box at the end, pick me up? Doing what he was told, Patroclus picked up the box and gave it a tiny shake?
What is inside you? the boy wondered

Yes she was out of the maze she had did it. She took a cushion in the middle it was purple. She picked up her box and shook it what was in the box. She sat it back down and waited for the rest of the class to leave the maze. She looked at one of her classmates " Are we supose to open the box?"

It seemed some of the students had not made it outside, yet. To be honest, Di had not expected that. She shrugged, as the walls that had risen out of the ground much earlier in the lesson, began to diminish. Smaller and smaller and smaaallerr... and then they had vanished altogether.

Yes, the tunnels and doors had all disappeared. The students could now all come into the makeshift classroom on the grounds, the one that contained cushions, a desk that sported several boxes of chocolates, and the students who had been able to find the 'exit' by themselves.

Stepping into the classroom, Di glanced around. Some of them seemed rather.... relieved to be out of the maze. "There are chocolates in these boxes..." The Professor stated the obvious, glancing at the biiig boxes on her desk. "If anyone wants but hasn't grabbed some already, feel free to now. Other than that... class is dismissed, you may head back to the castle. Homework will be put up on the Runes noticeboard, later today."

Was she forgetting something? Di frowwwwned slightly. Ah yes!

".... and don't forget the boxes you picked up at the end of the maze, either. Three taps of the wand should open them. They contain flavoured ink and quills - in case there are students who haven't purchased or heard of those before, no, those are not meant to serve as stationery -" Not that she had a problem if someone wanted to use a chocolate quill to take notes - "Most of the boxes contain chocolate-flavoured items, but there are a few other flavours... at any rate, if you don't like the flavour you've gotten, you can always get your box exchanged."

So. That was it.

"You've all done a splendid job. Have a good day, all of you."

Di smiled lightly.

Marie watched as the walls to the maze started to disappear. Was everyone even out of the maze yet? If not would they just be standing there, in the middle of the class once the walls were all gone?

Hmm...

Hearing the professors voice she turned to see her come into the class, or whatever you wanted to call it. Oh and they could have more chocolate. Hehe, she'd like to see Evelyn try to get it away from her now. But wait, she didn't need the chocolate on the table. Not if there really was chocolate in her box.

Picking up the box she gave it three taps with her wand and watched it open. Oh yeah, sugar quills and chocolate ink. This was heaven. She looked over at Evelyn as if daring her to try and take the box from her.

Since class was over there really was no reason to stay around so she grabbed her bag and box of chocolate ink and sugar quills amd headed for the exit, but not before she grabbed some of the chocolate from the desk too. A girl can never have too much chocolate, unless you were Evelyn.

"Thanks for all the treats Professor," Marie said as she left the class. Now to go back to the common room and eat some of those treats before Evelyn got there.

Daisy smiled up at the Whomping willow one last time and then focused her attention back on her Professor. She clutched her box that held her reward and shrugged. She just had to enjoy it all in moderation. "Thanks Professor. Have a good day." She left the makeshift classroom and gave a glance to the box of chocolates that she didn't claim, but what is in the box was probably enough to last her a few months.

Say what?! They had special flavored ink and quills! Kurumi immediately took out her wand and tapped her box three times as instructed and looked in to see that its contents didn't look much different from regular quills and ink. She picked up her quill and looked at it. Maaaaaaybe it had a bit of a pink tinge to it. Shyly, she took a quick lick of the feather end and her eyes bugged out of her head. It tasted like strawberries! She then took out her ink and saw that it was a dark black color. She quickly opened it up and was happy to smell a nice chocolate aroma.

"Thank you very much, professor," Kurumi smiled bowing slightly. Mazes were so much fun! "Oh, before I go, do you happen to have that cookie recipe?"

ToryMalfoy 10-09-2010 12:08 PM

"Thanks for that lesson, professor." she said smiling.
