Hehehe. Iris KNEW that was the rune it was. As she chomped on some marshmallows, Iris listened as the professor spoke.
Hmmm... Berkanan. Iris thought for a minute about the name, and tried to get things to come to mind. Raising her marshmallow-y stick, Iris spoke up. "Berkanan is the rune of Growth and fertility, I believe."
NOMNOMNOM. Chocolately marshmallows. Hehe.

Sophrina tapped her chin, thinking about the meaning of Berkanan. Then the answer came to her head, but she wasn't sure if it was the right one. What if she looked like a fool if it wasn't? Eh, might as well take a risk. "The rune Berkanan represents birch...which means growth?" that didn't sound right...well it did, but still. Sophie took bite of her marshmallow and pondered on her answer.

And by not having read the runes book over the summer, she had almost forgotten just how many runes there were. "That rune is...ingwaz i think? It has the meanings of harmony and agreement." Something they all really needed actually. Like herself for example. She needed to agree more often which...she was trying hard to do! She was agreeing with what the professor said about her last name. Flores Shepard was good enough.

Iris watched as people guessed the next Rune. She didn't recognise it, though. So she just sat there, burning a couple of marshmallows on a stick before eating them.

Protection, Concealment, Opportunity...Protection, Concealment, Opporunity. Frowning, Sabel plopped a marshmellow onto a stick and held it over the fire, thinking for a moment. Something about..."Algiz? The rune is named Algiz. Which translated, roughly means Pine Woods or Sedge Reeds?" Which only reminded him of the pine bed he was sooo looking forward to sleeping on.
