The edge of the lake looks... different. There are things heaped here. Davina, wand tucked behind her ear, turns round the moment she has arrived, to see if the class is following.
"Sit down, sit down," she says. "Your cushions are charmed so that they won't get dirty, though I don't expect you're going to need them for long. Take off your shoes, if you want to. I hope no one - girl or boy - is wearing heels? That can make things difficult."
Jacqueline was there alone. She really wanted to be in a group and work in a team. She looked around but everyone was already working on their tents. She felt quite lonely. She sat on a cushion and took her wand out. ''Guess i'll do it by myself.''
Fee saw a girl standing there all alone. She seemed kinda lonely.
Fee decided to walk over to her and ask if she wanted company.
"Hey i am Feenella", she smiled,"may want me to help you woth your tent? I already finished mine."
Lina worked on her end to steady the tent, then forced it a little to stick where it was at, tightening it against the back. "Okay, so we should get it tied down, or up, or however that works, right?"
Picking out one of the tents JD pulls it over to where he thinks a nice area was to put it up at. Picking up stones and sticks from the spot, he makes sure nothing was on the ground, and piles it in a small pile. He might need those sticks and stones later on.
Hearing the professor say they were able to use magic, he looked at her dumbfounded. Well he certainly wasn't gonna use it, not unless he planned on setting his tent on fire. No way! He'd done this many times, and knew exactly how a tent went up, without "magic" or the use of his wand.
Staking the tent corners to the ground, so it wouldn't blow away, he climbs inside, moving around inside the tent trying to get it up on his own, failing helplessly.
Looking around, before getting a tent, he saw something odd. Was that tent... moving? Oh MY Gosh! Its Haunted!!!! Jacob slowly walked towards it curiously. He was Completely Bewildered.
Jacob poked it, and quickly jumped Back. He was gonna die! That was a bad idea... What if it was Peeves! He remembered the Poitions class. That was the craziest Class Ever... then it got boring after Peeves left. Oh Crud... What has he done... Jacob was ready to run from what ever was inside. Especially if it was Peeves

Mumbling to himself, magic and wands aren't needed... he crawls around pushing up at the edges, as something pokes him in his side. Jumping about a foot he shrieks.
His eyes growing huge, he turns around standing up tall inside the tent, fumbling with his hands trying to get out.

Ella nodded, then took another pole and secured it to the ground next to the one that she had just put in the ground. They were zooming through this, and it was exciting. More poles were put in the ground, mhm. Goood, Trixie was on board with the making it look nice part. DUH, they'd get more points if it looked good. Right, all the poles were done and she looked back at her cousin. Hm. She picked up one end, and there was a lot more material than there looked. "Oh, Merlin." Heeeeeeave!
What did this have to do with Ancient Runes?
Trixie rolled her eyes slightly at Ella's reaction. "Yeah but its rewarding" she stated before tying up the poles together at the top. There you have it, a tepee. It wasn't a tent but it still looked cool and well, they could camp in it. Erm...Now what did they need? It was just the material right?
The blonde looked at the material as she and Ella tried to heave it out. "On three..One...Two..Three" she tried to pull at it but it was so much larger and heavier. What was it made from? Canvas right? Oh goodness they needed help getting this on. But from whom? She looked around quickly at who was there and spotted...

She'd never ever been camping and never had any interest in doing so, and therefore she'd never exactly bothered to read any books on it, so she was really, really stuck. How in Merlin's name do you put up a tent? Was it easier doing it with or without magic? Likely with, but she was still stuck on the how part. Er...
"VASHTI" the slytherin called over at her Ravenclaw friend. "You wanna join us? We could use a little help" she grinned. Once the material was on all they needed would to make it look all pretty. And as they were staying in a tepee, Trix had to go along with the theme right?
The girl plaited her long hair and made a band around her head in which she stuck a feather. "There. I feel more at home now" she giggled. Did anyone have face paint stuff? or whatever else would look good.
"No I believe it my brother has never been intrested either" she said with a smile. She bent down to tie the tent strings to braces in the ground which were undone. "Im Renesmee but you can call me Nessa or Rene if its easier for you' she said. She was finishing his tent (putting some charms- lighting charms, expanding charms etc.) " Here you go, all done" she said " would you like a cupcake? i made some earlier."
"Well, then you know two boys who are not very interested in camping" Rex told Nessa. "Well, thank you for helping, you are so sweet' Rex said to Nessa. " Now a cupcake, oo?" Rex asked Nessa. " Wow, you would have thought I helped you wiyh your tent' Rex laughed. " I cpuld help you on other classes if you need it" Rex explained to Nessa.
Mumbling to himself, magic and wands aren't needed... he crawls around pushing up at the edges, as something pokes him in his side. Jumping about a foot he shrieks.
His eyes growing huge, he turns around standing up tall inside the tent, fumbling with his hands trying to get out.
Jacob screamed, and fell to the ground as it jumped and shrieked.
Oh It was a person... Wait. You can pitch tents from the inside? He never knew... then again he didn't know how to pitch tents in the first place. And he was muggle born... negative to living at sea, no camping trips. Not once.
He realized that the person was having difficulty getting out, and Jacob tried helping them to take the tent off.
Enya ignored Louisa when she continued to walk away. She wouldn't talk to the girl again. She had ruined her painting...AGAIN! The thought brought her back to the time in DA, when they had first met, how she had ruined her painting. And blamed it on her. How rude. Enya still didn't turn when she heard the older girl shout her name. She will NOT talk to the girl again.
But-But now she was grabbing her arm, pulling her to actually look at her. She had no choice of course. But she really didn't want to. The.Girl.Had.Ruined.Her.Art.Work. Glare. But she was saying she always ran away from things. SHE DID NOT! "I do NOT run away from things all the time!" SHe cried first glaring at the younger girl. "You always create them" She shot towards the girl.
Enya grabbed Louisa and made her look at their tent. Not destory her work? Ha! "Look!" She cried pointing, "My painting I painted on there is gone! I spent ages on that she you painted over it" She said right into the girl's ears. "Do you know how long that took me?" She asked dropping the girl's arm and stepping away. No she did NOT! She hadn't been there. At All!
"Big Deal!?" She cried next, Yes it was a BIG deal. Sigh. "You.Ruined.My.Tent.Art" She said in one sentence looking at the younger girl again. How rude of her! Sigh. But she guessed she didn't mean it of course. But she was too worked up to care. She listenede to Louisa speak again. Of course she had wanted the girl as a partner. They were best friends...sorta! But...but...she couldn't find a but. Enya began to breath, turn towards Louisa to say sorry.
Then she did the unthinkable.
She fell to the ground below her, and burst into tears. REAL tears.
Louisa listened to Enya as she shouted and ranted over her sacred hard work. Huh! Spoiled child. She didn't find a reason that made her friends with Enya. She better re-select her partners next time. No wonder Enya wanted to be alone, she was too proud of her work. Heh.
As soon as Louisa turned her back on Enya to get back to the tent. HER tent. She heard low sound. Sobbing. Probably a firstie broke into tears when they couldn't build the damn tent. Heh. Children.
WHAT?
Turning around she saw that this child was actually Enya! She was on the floor crying. Really crying with tears. Louisa blinked and forgot to breath for a split second. She NEVER thought that Enya would cry in front of her. Why? Ruining her painting (?). She walked over to her slowly thinking of what to say.
"Oh. No, Enya, don't be sad. I'm sorry really. We could ask the teacher to undo what I did." GAH! This was bad consolation. But Louisa didn't know what's wrong in the first place. "What's wrong? Tell me." She pleaded crouching next to Enya.
Pam silently worked on her tent. It wasn't very flashy. Just four posts with a tarp, that she had painted with fancy blue designs, and a post in the middle, and across the top to hold up the tarp. She made it so the opening faced the lake. She was tying down the last of her posts and went to go grab a few pillows.
Falling over backwards as a scream reached his ears, he sits down shaking his head. Wow was that loud! he thought even through a tent. Crawling out of the tent as the person held it open, he looks up. "Jacob!" he exclaims.
Looking around at the tent over him, he asks "Want to help?"

His eyes flicked to her camp not too far away and then back to his friend. "I can put up a tarp over your tent if you want. Or show you how, though by your skills I'm guessing you've done it before."
"Fiiine." She poked her tongue at him again, shifting on the branch as she joined him. Giggling when he face palmed himself. "Not unless you wanna climb up in the tree every time you wanna throw away your trash." Which really wasn't that bad so long as the trash is small. Following his gaze, she looked over at the tent Ivy and the other girl where putting up and nodded her head a few times. "In case we don't actually sleep in the tent." And they probably wouldn't. "I haven't put one up in a while." Not since she went camping the previous summer. So help was welcome.

"Um..tied down would be the right describtion," Simon supplied as the tent balanced for a moment in position. Giving a final flick to keep it up for a little while unaided, the boy summoned a couple of ties and stakes from the pouch supplied with her tent items.
"If you tie one end to the corner of the tent and the other to the stake before sticking it in the ground it should stay secure," he instructed before moving to help on his two corners.
Iris watched the girl from the corner of her eye, and smiled as she seemed to get the grasp of the spell. As the canvas landed on the top of the frame, Iris smiled.
"Wow we did it she!" smiled "it's not much but YAY!" she grinned

Only thing is...we have to go down, get the tarp then climb up this tree and lets see...one, two, three, four...those other three." Grinning, he glanced over at Arya. "Sound like a plan?"

OHHH YES! Trixie was calling her over and Vashti wouldn't have to figure this out alone. YESSSS. "Sure! If you dont mind," she answered, walking over to the two Slytherins. Thank Merlin for them. "Just to warn you though, I have no idea how to put up a tent..." But then she spotted the poles and their shape nad realized that definitely wasn't a tent. "...or a tepee, for that matter," she added. She knew what they were and what they looked like but had no idea how to actually put one up. But it looked like Trixie and - argh, the other girl's name escaped her - got one part of it done, so hopefully the rest wouldn't be too hard.

Ella pulled as Trixie counted them on three but it just wasn't working. SIGH. She knew they'd have to do it the magical way..... but now someone else was joining them, so maybe they'd be able to manage now. Ella didn't think she knew the girl, but according to Trixie's outburst, her name was Vashti...?
"Hey, I'm Ella." She smiled, then gave their 'tent' a look of defeat. Was this lesson ever going to end?

Falling over backwards as a scream reached his ears, he sits down shaking his head. Wow was that loud! he thought even through a tent. Crawling out of the tent as the person held it open, he looks up. "Jacob!" he exclaims.
Looking around at the tent over him, he asks "Want to help?"
Oh... JD. Well... hmmm. That was a suprise. He was expecting, well someone... kinda. Wait what was he expecting. What ever he expected it wasn't to find a JD in the tent. Especially this JD.
Help? "I don't know how much help I'll be, but it's better then being on my own." cause if he was on his own, the might be some major accident of posting his hand into the ground, or something. Ouch... it hurt even thinking about it. "So how does this work?" he asked looking at the tent... he guessed you we're supposed to do it from the inside, since JD was doing that.
"OI YOU! Excuuuse mee!!1!!" Okay... that was rude. Hehe. Oops, "C'mon over here!" She smiled brightly at the girl. "You look like you need people to work with, and I want people to make friends. So come and help Amy and Freya!" Teehee. Okay, maybe that wasn't the BEST way to catch the kids attention, but if it works... then Iris'll buy them all some candy or something. Everyone wins! Hehehe.
They need MOAR help to paint this thing. Hehehe.
''Who?Me?''she couldn' believe someone called her. ''Thanks for inviting me. Hey girls!'' she smiled and shook their hands. ''I'm Jacqueline, first year nice to meet you. How is the tent going? Can't wait to start!she smiled at them and got ready for work.

Ah so Vashti had indeed heard her calling over. And she had also joined her. "Course not" she grinned the feather slipping down from her head and almost poking her in the eye. The Slytherin pushed it back up into its rightful space. It was a tepee, Trix HAD to be like Pocahontas right now didn't she? "Thats fine, all we need is to lift this up" she directed down at the material. "You ready...AGAIN..One...Two..three" she heaved and pulled up.
Why weren't they joining in with her fun? She didn't want to be the only one with a feather in her hair. The Professor said to have fun, so she was, by pretending to be Pocahontas.

Confidently he grins at him, "No problem." he said nodding. Erm... Looking around, he smiles widely "We need a pole!"Yep, poles they will hold it up just fine...
Grabbing the pole, he climbs back into tent, dragging it behind him.
Jayce looked around. So.. they were building tents? Well.. at least that's what he gathered from the whole thing. He had sorta kinda tuned out the professor as she spoke. Whoops. Errr. He glanced around, hoping to see someone he recognized As his head turned left, he saw Trixie and Vashti and.. some blonde girl? Err.. she looked so familiar. Why couldn't he remember her name? Gahh. Stupid memory. With his hands in his pockets and a grin spread across his face, Jay strolled over to the group.
"Hey." he said happily as he approached them. "Need some help?"

"This..." He held up a finger, trying to think of some way to counter her argument. Coming up with nothing, he simply nodded and retracted his finger. "Is true."
A rearrangement of the rope about his shoulders had him starting down the tree once more. "Sounds good. I'll just go get you a tarp." A pause to consider the size of her camp before he continued down, being careful to mind his footing. "Be back in a moment."
Step, step, step, slip-hop and he was back on the ground, nearly on his bottom too. Stumbling back from the tree, he gave it a wary once-over before straightening and turning his clumsy legs back to the supplies. It took a few minutes to root through everything before he found what he was looking for. A nice big, green tarp. He was sure Arya would have preferred yellow for her house, and paused in thought. A grin ran across his face nearly as quickly as he ran across the tree. "Arya. I have an idea."

Three people should do itttt. Ella pulled hard. "Stupid. Thing." She breathed through the heaving. COME ON! This was a peice of material and three girls were struggling to lift it. They needed to work out more.
Ella blinked at Trixie and chuckled at her hair. Eh, what the hey. She tied her long blonde hair into a plait and tied it around her head too. "Trixie, we're like twinnies." She laughed. Right.. Back to biznizz.

She wanted to stop, but she couldn't Why? Was it because her art work was ruined? Maybe? Sob. She didn't mind Louisa trying to comfort her, or the girl pouring apoligies into her ears.
