Cora got off her cushion and grabbed the necessary supplies to build her tent. She had just gone camping right before school started with her parents. However, all three of them built the tent together, and Cora was not exactly tall.

She started by laying out the tent flat on the ground. Next, she need the poles. She waved her wand and said, "Accio, poles". The poles came flying across the tent and landed beside her. She put the poles into the tent slits and bent them so that they made the tent stand up.

She took a step back to take a look at her finished tent, when it started floating in the air. It rose about 10 feet off the ground and just hovered there. She had forgotten to stake the tent down. Even so, the tent shouldn't have started floating. Cora started to panic and was jumping at her tent trying to get it to come down.

Finally she yelled for the professor to help, "Professor? I forgot to stake my tent and now it is floating," she said while pointing at her tent. "I can't get it down. Could you help me, please?"

Oooooh building stuff, looked like a job for... Oh wait, he wasn't here

*Sniff*

Well then guess she wouldn't be working with him then. The Blonde looked around at who else was in the lesson, not that many people she knew, but there was one that stood out. The Slytherin walked over to her cousin with a grin. "Well then Ella, I hope you're good at putting tents up" she folded her arms across her chest. Trix wasn't too bad but when it came to doing this type of work, she did the simple jobs.

Amy glanced up and smiled "yes please"

She saw Trixie! And she casually dropped everything in her hands to go over to her. Best to claim her as her partner before anyone did. Uhhhhh... she was asking ELLA??
"I don't bloomin' know...." Pause. "Well.. we put those poles into the ground first right, then put the tenty thing on top." That sounded sooo easy, but looking around at the other pupils, it certainly didn't look it. Sigh.

Enya had seen Louisa making her way over when she had been sitting thinking about what to do next. She chose to ignore the girl until she spoke. First about the funness of the lesson, then about her tent - which she had already changed to a painted picture of a mountain. Sigh. Blah. Blah. Blah.

Enya finally turned towards Louisa, "I thought when you chose to hang round with me you welcome'd trouble" She told the girl smirking, she turned back to her - their - tent and bit her bottom lip, what to do now? Turning back to Louisa she said, "You call this lesson fun? I call it boring. I mean why do we want to learn how to be muggles? This isn't Muggle studies" She told the girl her eyes darkening a little.

Cass watched as the older girl's tent started floating away. "Why not try Erecto?" Cass suggested to the girl as she watched the tent float "But you might want to use something like Diffindo right now so that the tent would sink..."

Finn rolled his eyes at Mia, as he fixed the tent onto the pole, before letting go, after making sure that she still had it. Well at least it hadn't fell off, meaning that he wasn't a complete loser, which he was pretty happy about. Although he definetly wanted to do it with magic next time, because he was sure it would be much easier, and he wouldn't get all tired like he was already...although he had hardly done anything yet.

He laughed at what she said, and smirked at her. There was one thing, and he didn't think that it was exactly appopriate right now. "I think you know what....but later." He grinned, before going back into tent pitching mode. "So where do the other poles go?"

Freya saw Amy talking to an older student. She walked to her "Hey Amy. Mind if I joined you?" she asked. She then turned her gaze to the older girl "Hello" she greeted her politely

Iris smiled at the girl, and then looked at the tent that she was TRYING, clearly desperately, to put up. "Alrighty, then. First things first; intro's. I'm Iris Beaumont. Call me 'Iris' or 'Monty' ... But none of that Prefect title stuff. What's your name? Teehee. Iris looked down at the TEENY firstie and still refused point blank to believe that she was THAT short five years ago. Just refused to.

Eyeing the tent, Iris looked at the girl. Did the professor say they were allowed to use magic to conjour it up or not? Iris wasn't sure. Good job she knew how to camp then, isn't it?! Hehe. "Look, see this pole here? That's one of the poles for the base. They're numbered, see. In case you have to make them the muggle way. All the base-poles have number 1's on them." Iris smiled at the girl, and took out her wand. "However... We don't have to do it the muggle way. Or at least I don't think we do. Eh... We'll do it the Muggle way to be safe."

"THEN, when it's built we can use the paint and other stuff to make it all pretty. Maybe build a campfire, too." Hehe. Iris nodded at the little girl to make sure that she was following. Didn't want to confuse her, did she?

Iris looked at the other girl who'd come to ask to help. YAAAAAY! More people equals a more EPIC tent! Grinning at the girl, Iris answered back, "Heey. I'm Iris."

Cora turned around and saw that a Slytherin girl was giving her some suggestions. She thought about Diffindo, but that would just cut open her tent. Maybe it would work. She pointed her wand at her floating tent, "Diffindo". Her tent split open on one side and started to slowly fall back down to the ground. She turned towards the Slytherin and said, "Thanks!"

Cora then ran around her tent putting the stakes in the ground before returning to the cut in the side. She waved her wand and said, "Reparo." The cut in the side of the tent sealed back up perfectly.

Now she can get on with painting the outside of her tent.

"Alright..Erm..So chair, sofa.." she wasn't really good at this. Camping wasn't part of how she grew up. "I guess we could help each other?" she smiled.

Arabella-Marie nodded and said "Yeah i guess we can help each other out Dianna"

Louisa rolled her eyes. URGH! Enya's mood was totally spoiled by something then. "And who the hell said that I welcome trouble when I hand around you?" She asked her a boredom in her voice. "Anyways, I'm not here to argue with you." She shook her hand.

Louisa looked at the tent for a moment, "A mountain?" She suppressed a giggle, "Cool then. And Why don't we make it a little bigger? You know, since I'm joining you." She grinned. She knew that Enya preferred loneliness but Louisa wouldn't give her that joy :evile:

Cassandra smiled. "Uhm...how about a color change charm instead?"

"Actually, I thought I would throw some of those colored bubble we learned in DADA at it. It would be more entertaining that way," Cora said. She was glad that she was getting all of these wonderful suggestions though. She could use the color changing charm on the furniture instead because she wouldn't want to sit on paint.

Enya stared at Louisa, debated weather to stand up and just leave. Find another tent to paint and all. GAH! this girl did sometimes annoyed her! "Hello, have you actually payed attention to what i do around here?" She asked glaring at the girl. She turned away from her and back to the tent. "Oh well that's a change" She replied sarcasticly to Louisa's second sentence. Wasn't this girl always wanting to argue? Yeah!

Enya tightened her hold on her wand. Louisa wanted to share a tent with her!? But she never shared. She prefered to work alone, hence she hadn't run around looking for Louisa to join up with. Sigh. But she couldn't actually say that to the girl, she'd have to put up with her. Great! "Fine, Make it bigger if you'd like" She huffed moving to sit a little away from the tent and Louisa.

Cassandra nodded true...that would be more interesting. Cassandra glanced back at her pink tent which was sitting near a tree next to Kurumi's next to the river. Then she shook her head, nah, she didn't need the paint splatters on her clean tent. Then she asked the girl "What color are you gonna use?"

"Can't argue over that. You're a trouble magnet, Enya, you should be more careful." Louisa said in the best wise tone she could ever come up with. And then walked towards the tent and roamed around it.

"Er..." Yeah, well she didn't know how to do this by herself. She looked over at Enya sitting alittle too further than a partner would sit. "And would you give me a hand with that?" She said smirking, "You're a second year, you must've known better." Of course she didn't, but Louisa wanted to tempt the girl to help her. Otherwise, she wouldn never get up.

Were they actually gonna do anything with Runes?

Trix loved this lesson, she, unlike probably a load of others, wanted to get down to some nitty gritty stuff. Not this tent building stuff, though it could potentially be kinda fun. The Blonde raised her eyebrow as Ella dropped everything and headed towards her. Guess they both wanted to be partners then. Trixie picked up the poles that had been dropped on the floor and eyed the ground slightly.

"Okay hold this" she shoved a pole over at Ella whilst grabbing another for herself. Was there like string or anything? Hang on, were they allowed to use magic? To be honest it was MORE fun doing it without magic though. "Lets do this the hard way" she grinned. Got more out of it then. The Slytherin shoved a pole in a soft piece of land, attaching it securely down so that it crossed over a little at the top, almost like a tepee. "Put your pole opposite" she instructed. Yeah Trix liked to take control but she wanted it down fairly quickly.

Fee painted flowers and butterflies on her tent. Woah this was going to look awesome.
She was quite satisfied with her work.
Her pink-ish tent was coverd with white butterflies and light pink flowers. Now it was time for some purple.

"Hi freya sure you can join us" she smiled "I wonder what we're doing" she shrugged "oh well I'm sure we'll find out soon"

Enya laughed, yeah finally Louisa wasn't tell her off. Well sorta, she was giving her advice - not that she'd take it. Sigh. "Be careful? Ha. yeah that's going to happen" Sarcasticly. Well she'd try...not! It'll be the say when she actually learnt some manner's and went back to her old self. Vannessa would love that day.

Enya had been sat alone picking grass from the ground. Sigh. She wanted this class over and donw with so she could go to bed in her real bed. Yeah she was looking forward to that, this lesso was pointless! Enya even thought of standig up and just leaving, she wouldn't care about the missing points or the detention's. Sigh. She stood up when Louisa started to ask for help. What? She was expected to know the spell? She didn't. She said so.

"Don't look at me, i don't know it! Ask someone else"

Cass grinned at the sight of Fee's tent "Pretty" Cass told the girl, then she brought out her wand and said "Orchideous" whiched caused a bundle of pink carnations to appear from the tip of her wand then she offered them to freya and said "A house warming present"

"I think I am going to try to paint a picture of the lake with the bubbles." Cora told her while trying to figure out what to start with. "I am going to need blue for the lake, green for the grass, brown for the trees, gray for the castle, and a lighter blue for the sky." She looked over at the other girls tent, "I like the pink that you put on your tent. It's not too bright, but it still stands out."
