You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. She followed him into the room and her mouth dropped open as she stood in the middle and spun slowly on the spot taking everything in. It really was a beautiful place to spend your time. Except for the swords, Mia flinched slightly when she saw those.
Death and destruction is what she saw when she looked at those.
Mia finally turned and looked at Matty and smiled. "So this is the real Matthias huh?" She walked over to where he was standing and lent up against the desk. "It's nice. Very you."
She paused and studied him for a moment. "Why do I make you nervous?"

"Your uncle sounds kinda scary." She said as she hoisted herself onto the desk and swung her legs back and forth, looking at her shoes and hoping that they would last out the year because she couldn't afford to buy anymore.
Mia tipped her head back and laughed. "I suppose I can understand that. Girls can be a little scary especially when they're teenagers." She looked back at him and gave him a wink, "I'm not like most girls. Just talk to me as though I am your uncle. So you don't talk to any girls back at home or anything?"

Army and softy just don't seem to go into the same sentence together. When Mia thought about the army all she saw was people fighting with each other and being killed in war's that don't really concern them. But again she was tactful enough to keep her mouth shut. She would protest in her own ways.
Mia raised an eyebrow at him and then stuck out her leg. "I don't know. Doesn't it usually tell you the size on the bottom of the shoe." She gave him an expectant look, her eye twinkling with amusement. "Well go on have a look."

Hmm he was telling her porky pies, she just knew it. Mia didn't really care who he was sending a message to, she just liked messing with him because...well...he was easy to mess with.
She paused for a moment and surveyed him for a moment before launching herself at him. Mia had seen plenty of football in her time and she knew how to tackle someone.

"Heyyy!!" She squealed as she squirmed under his fingers and then moved away from him laughing. Wrapping her arms around her middle, Mia continued to giggle. "No fair." She said breathlessly as she rubbed her sides and stared at him.
"Told you I would get rid of your nerves." She laughed again and then walked over to one of the sofas and flopped down. "Were you planning on doing studying up here? Because you can forget that."
There was no way the boy would get an study done while she was around.

"Wow... that was fast. Must have used floo mail."
*Matty got up and went to the door just as an owl flew in carrying a shoe box. The owl dropped it in front of Mia then flew off. Matty went back over to her and gulped seeing the royal seal on the paper the box was wrapped in. Maybe she wouldn't notice.*
"Now... please don't get mad... but I had to pay you back for helping me with that tent in class..."

"Well I'm flattered you feel that way Matty." She too poked her tongue out at him. So Mia now had herself a brother which was totally cool because then she could mess around and not worry about things getting all confused between them.
Mia stared at the box in front of her and then back up at Matty's face a little overwhelmed by his generosity. She hadn't taken any notice of the seal. "You didn't have to pay me back at all. It was part of a class assignment and we were supposed to help each other." Her hands reached out for the box but they hung mid air too scared to touch it. "Bloody hell Matty, helping with my homework would have been payment enough."

She wasn't sure exactly what she did to get these generous offers. But Mia had gotten quite a few gifts from a few people. Her entire set of school robes had been a gift from a friend and now she had shoes to go with it.
"Thank you Matty. I don't know what else to say. I hope that I can repay you some day." She would probably need to win some sort of lottery before she could do that though. She owed quite a few people.
She looked down at the box again and smiled. "Oh I can't do it. You open it for me." She said pushing the box over to him.

"No! These are just fine Matty." Merlin he had just given her a pair of shoes. Did she think that she was that shallow that she would demand something better?
Mia took the shoes out of the box and looked at them in awe while she quickly took her old shoes off and put the new ones on. She jumped off the sofa and did a twirl and then kinda danced around in them.
She giggled and then grabbed Matty by the hand and pulled him to his feet. "Dance with me Matty?"
