You're searching the castle for a mysterious room you have heard of called The Room of Requirement. You have searched every nick and cranny of the castle but still no room. You climb the stairs to the seventh floor and come across a stange tapestry showing Barnabas the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance the ballet. You laugh at the silly tapestry until you side almost burst. Then you remember hearing the Room is located opposite such a tapestry. You turn around expecting to see a door, but find a blank wall instead. You start walking back and forth three times concentrating hard on what it is you need. Suddenly a door appears. You open it and discover you have found the Room of Requirement... | |

She sighed with relief but still Mia could not bring herself to say anything. She didn't know what to say or even how to start? Biting on her bottom lip, Mia began to pace around the room again running her fingers over the books and the shelves.
After about five minutes of doing this and not saying anything, she turned back to Matty and gave him a somewhat helpless look. "Have you ever had a crush on someone?"

Mia groaned and went and sat down beside him and rested her head against his shoulder. "But I have never been interested in anyone like that before. I mean yeah I like guys and I've snogged a few but I always knew it was never anything really serious." Just the way she liked it. She didn't want the commitment or the hassle of what came with a relationship.
She clutched at her stomach, wishing the silly flip flops it was doing would stop and the way her heart would beat a little faster when she thought about him.
"Ugh it's so stupid. What am I thinking? There's no way I would ever be able to tell him." She would rather die first.

No matter the reassurances that Matty was giving her, there was no way that Mia was ever going to tell him. He was just waiting for her to admit that she liked him and she just couldn't bring herself to do it.
"I like my life the way it is. No complications and no heartache. It's just simple and that's good enough for me." So why did she feel unhappy that it wasn't him that she was sitting next to right now?
Mia removed her head from Matty's shoulder and sat up straighter on the stool. "I'll just make sure to avoid him from now on." Well that was going to be easier said than done considering he was going to be sharing the same common room.

Ugh why did she have to bring this subject up? Mia should have just kept her mouth shut and struggled through her feelings in her own way. If she regretted her decision not to say anything then that would be something she would have to deal with. But she would think about what Matty said and take it into consideration.
Glad that he had changed the subject, Mia thought about it for a moment. "I don't care. Anything. So long as it's not some soppy love song, okay? Something a little more upbeat."

Mia rolled her eyes at him and stood back up and moved away from the piano. She looked around the room for a moment before turning back to Matty. "Do you ever go outside?"
They had both spent quite a bit of time together and Mia realised that it was mainly inside the castle or this room specifically. She was an outdoor person and preferred to be in the fresh air.
