"Are you kidding? He would probably have a party in honor of me having a friend. But there is something you should know first..."
*Matty looked down at his shoes not sure where to start.*

Mia raised an eyebrow at this. A party? Just because he brought home a friend. It actually sounded like fun until he spoke again. She gave his hand a reassuring squeeze and was about to tell him that he could tell her anything but she hadn't shown him the same confidence with her secret.

"Only if you want to tell me Matthias."

"Umm... okay." *He rubbed the back of his neck.*
"Okay you can't tell anyone okay? Promise? I mean no one can know. It's part of why I have no friends... it's hard to trust people with this secret..."

Okay. Mia knew that she was pretty good with secrets but the way Matty was talking had her a little worried. This seemed really big and she didn't want to let him down in anyway.

"I promise Matty. I won't say anything to anyone." She gripped his hand tightly in hers so that he knew that she was there for him.

*Letting out a long sigh he looked back up at her. It was now or never, well not really. After that build up he knew that Mia wouldn't let him get away until he told her.*
"My uncle... isn't just the ambassador to Sweden... he's kind of... the k-king."

"Oh" she breathed, "That's...that's...pretty awesome actually." Mia let out a small giggle partly out of relief more than anything. She hadn't known what she had been expecting but this piece of information didn't seem so bad. "Why is it such a secret though?" Not that she planned on telling anyone but she didn't get why he didn't want anyone to know.

"Three reasons... one, I get picked on and made fun of enough. Two people might start bugging me about it, and three... I would want people to be my friend cause they wanted to be. Not because of who my uncle is..."
*Matty looked down again not sure what to say. He had been picked on and used so much he wasn't sure what to do.*

Well she they were good reasons as any. Mia could understand now why he didn't want to tell anyone and it made her feel rather special that he had trusted her enough to tell her.

She let go of his hand and gave him a hug. "I don't care who you are or who your uncle is. I like you for the lovely person that you are. Matty, you are one of the nicest guys I know and I am going to help you make more friends." Because everyone should have friends in their life.

Well then, that was pretty sure. She didn't know why that caused her to not only feel as if she was flying on clouds at the moment, but also a weight drop in the pit of her stomach. Did she love him back? She knew that she liked him...a lot. There was no doubt about that. But love was a big thing. One emotion that she had trouble with in her past.

Realizing that he was probably waiting for an answer, she panicked for a moment. She didn't know what to do! Glancing down to his hands, the Slytherin touched them just the slightest, before lettings her fingers glide up his arms and finally rested his shoulders, hoping that the time from then to now would give her a moment to calm her rapidly beating heart or to think of something. No such luck though. Looking into his brown eyes, she smiled just a bit to show that she wasn't angry or disappointed, before speaking.

"So, if...if I returned these feelings..." Playing with the collar of his shirt, she smiled a little wider, her eyes flickering to his collar, to his lips, and then back to his eyes. "...would that mean, I'll be your girlfriend?"

He was HERS. And she wanted everyone to know that. Especially that cookie girl and French girl. Any type of label or title regarding that fact would do just fine.

*He was always taken aback when she hugged him but he was starting to get used to it. Maybe even starting to like them. Give her back a small pat he looked around not sure what to do.*
"Umm.. okay. Th-thank you?"

The opportunity was just too great to pass up. The way he got embarrassed so easily. Mia leaned forward and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "When are you going to start feeling comfortable around me Matthias? I am your friend." It didn't occur to her that by giving him a kiss was probably only going to make it worse.

*He turned beat red and pulled away from her a little and looked down again. She was so confusing to him. Matty could figure almost anything out. But with Mia he was at a total loss.*
"F-friends don't give out kisses..."

Ginny had been searching always at her time at Hogwarts to find the Room Of Requirement. She knew she was somewhere close, she had never been it before. She knew doors would appear from somewhere since her sister had told her about it when she had been in here, at Hogwarts. She closed her eyes and really wanted to go in. She waiting, waiting and waiting more. Finally... two huge doors in front of her opened and she walked in,

Ooops! She may have pushed that a little too far.

"Of course they do silly." She had grown up in a commune and was used to people expressing their emotions and feelings quite freely. A little too freely sometimes.

But deciding not to push it and respecting his space, Mia moved away from him and went back to the couch. "So what do you think of this whole Triwizard Tournament thing?" Yep she would just change the subject to suit herself.

Jade got out of the common room. She was feeling really bored. She started wandering around the castle but had no idea where she was heading to. She started feeling lonely and wanted to be with her family more than ever. Jade stopped and rested her back to a wall and closed her eyes. Then to her surprise two enormous doors opened. Her jaw dropped with surprise. 'What have I done?' she asked herself. She started looking back at the wall she was leaning to, to see if she had hit a push by mistake like the ones in muggle movies she used to see at her grandparents house. Realising that this was complete magic she plucked out the courage and started walking towards the two gigantic doors. She took a small peep inside and she instantly found out that she wasn't alone! "Ginny!" Jade cried. "What is this place?" she asked.

*Matty shrugged and sat down on the piano again starting to play softly again.*
"I don't know... I'm not really on any team or anything... There is one bloke I will not cheer for."
*Matty remembered the rude boy that he saw hitting on anything that moved.*

Ginny had just been in the room for only a few seconds as she was looking at it. It was such a beautiful place, full of all different people. She heard someone call out her name. Who would that be? "Jade!", she said happily to her. "It's the Room Of Requirement", she answered her with a smile. Ginny thought Jade, may have known about it or not but this was her first year at Hogwarts and was lucky she had discovered it. Ginny had just discovered for the first time, in her third year.

Yes Mia, smooth change of subject there...not! It made her think of the one thing she was trying really hard not think about. She shook herself from her thoughts just to hear what Matty was saying. "Oh yeah and who is that?" She asked not really thinking about it.

"A guy from Durmstrang. Nikolai something... The prat flirts with anything that moves and treats everyone around him like dirt." *Matty was just going on what he saw. He had seen the boy be very stuck up, rude, and flirt with every girl he saw.*

"The what?" Jade asked. "I mean what do you do in here? Is it something normal to walk in a corridor and doors appear out of nowhere? I thought I did something," Jade said in one go. She was till surprised. She started looking around the place there were loads of things in there beautiful things.

Mia froze and she felt her stomach give a little lurch and then as casually as she could she lent back against the couch. "Oh yeah I've had a couple of run ins with him. Not to mention we made a bet on the tournament outcome." Which was not her brightest moment. The mere mention of his name caused her to become unsettled.

"The Room Of Requirement", she said again to Jade. "Well it's a place where if you really want somewhere to go or have it will give it to you. It only works to a few people. It's not something normal you do everydat", she explained to Jade.

*Matty stopped playing and turned to face her.*
"I saw him being very rude to you on the first night in the great hall. Wait... what kind of a bet did you make?"

Heaving a deep sigh, Mia placed her hands in her lap and started picking at her robes. "Yeah he was being a prat." And he had been that night and later when they had run into each other but there were times he could actually be nice.

"Oh...well...if Hogwarts win he has to eat a plate of live flobberworms. If Hogwarts don't win then I have to hug Headmaster Zitnik." Which at the time, Mia had thought she was getting away with it easy but from the rumors she had been hearing about the old dude, she wasn't so sure anymore.

Sammy entered the room quietly. She had only been here once before, last year ... like the beginning of her first year. AGES AGO! anyway. She felt like sitting on a bean bag and oddly enough, remembering what the room did ...I need a bean bag... please she thought before heading over to the plain blue bean bag that had appeared in a corner.
