Edmond was utterly surprised when Katie hugged him. He hadn't been expecting that. He guessed she still needed some comforting so he patted her back.

"Feenella and I went on our first date." Edmond smiled wide. "We went to the lake. That's actually where I fist met her." he grinned.

"Really? How was it?" Katie asked, for some reason she felt strange inside, what was happening to her?

"It was great." Edmond said remembering, "We talked and talked and talked." he grinned. Ed then stopped hoping he wouldn't make Katie sad, after all her boyfriend had recently broken up with her. "Do you know Feenella?" he asked.

Wow, the date sounded great "Yeah I know Fee!" Katie said smiling, she then remembered that Fee had already told her this but still "Is that all you have been up to?" Katie asked looking into his eyes.

"Not really," he grinned, although he wished it was, "I've been working of my homework and exploring the castle." Ed explained, "What have you been up to?"

"I have been doing my homework, catching up with friends and yeah, that's about it" Katie said smiling at him, she started fiddling with her hair.

"Edmond, I think I have a crush on someone and I don't know what to do, any advice?" Katie asked hoping he would understand.

Hmm, what to do when you have a crush on someone? "To tell you the truth, Katie, I'm not an expert on that field and I'm probably the wrong person to go to," he said. After all Rex was the one that helped Ed get a date with Feenella. "But you start by being this guy's friend and then go on from there." Ed explained and hoped he helped.

Katie thought about it "Thanks, This guy is really nice I have to say" Katie said hoping it wouldn't give away who it is.

"That's good," Edmond smiled, "Just make sure he treats you right." he said.

"I am sure he would but I don't think he likes me back" Katie said looking straight into his eyes, she hoped he had not guessed who it was.

Edmond was stumped. What else could he advise her. Then he came up with a great idea. Katie needed someone who might know more than Ed did, plus he wasn't good at talking about guys. Katie needed a lady friend, "If you want I can ask Feenella for some advice?" he offered. Yes, Feenella would definately help Katie.

Fee?!?! That was the last person who wanted to hear who she had a mini crush on, besides, what would Fee think? "I will probably see her tonight so I can ask her then" Katie said as she scratched her head.

"Edmond, if we are going to be best friends forever and always we need to know about each other, please tell me about yourself" Katie asked polity.

"You sure 'cause I can ask her too?" he smiled. He wanted help Katie, but was unsure if he was doing the best.

Okay, tell her about myself. Ed thought. "Well, I'm a Malfoy," he smirked proudly. "And my father is completely and utterly mad with me because the stupid Sorting Hat placed me in Gryffindor." Ed said, nonchalantly. "I'm also the first Malfoy that's been sorted in Gryffindor and it's been kind of hard." he explained.

"That would be nice" Katie said with a smile, she could help but Katie knew she would ask who it is.

"What about your past?" Katie asked, her past was huge, "I think it is good to be different" Katie said smiling as she patted him on the back again.

"My past..." Ed was thoughtfull for a minute, "Well, I was raised to be the next Malfoy heir. I've been taught to act superior than others, but I don't like it. he grinned sadly. "My mother has always been supportive of me and my father has too, but he always wants me to things his way." Ed sighed, "I don't like his ways, but I know that he does everything because he wants me to have a good future." he explained.

"What about your past?" Edmond asked.

Wow, his past was full of drama, poor Edmond..

"My past, I grew up with only two friends, as I have told you before My muggle school was terrible well they actually teased me because my diary was let loss" Katie said as she breathed in, "I think that covers all of my school life, I also did dancing, singing, acting, Piano and Guitar lessons" Katie said with a smile.

Edmond nodded as he remembered what Katie had told him about her muggle school. "I thought muggles were nice." he voiced his thought out loud. Well, that's what he really thought.

"Some are" Katie said thinking of the mean muggle called India, she had been the starter of Katie being teased.

"We should go on a picnic one day, you know, as friends" Katie offered, she hoped that Edmond wouldn't get the wrong idea.

Edmond nodded. That was true. Like in the wizarding world, some wizards were nice and other's weren't.

"That'd be nice," he grinned, "A friend day." he called it.

A friend day, that sounded nice "Ok then, where should it be?" Katie asked with a smile on her face.

Edmond thought of a good place to have a picnib, "How about the Pumpkin patch, I like it there." Ed suggested. He really wanted to go there.

Katie smiled "I would love that" Katie said, hmmm... what day? "Tomorrow?" Katie asked making sure he was free.

Oh Boy...Kale thought, she didn't even here him...or understand him. Was Kale going to have the courage to ask again... He took another deep breath. He had to...Lani was waiting for him to say something. "Umm....well..." Kale said...and then he ..."What I meant to say is...." Grrr....why couldn't Kale just say it. What was his problem. "Will you go out with me." There!!!! Kale had said it...now he just needed to wait and see!

Leilani blinked, eyebrows slightly raised. He.... whaaaaaat?! She took deep breaths in through her nose and out through her mouth. Dang, he'd seriously just asked her out hadn't he? Ooooh, now she was gonna sound all bad not saying anything.

"Uuuuh..." Oh crap. She'd just said that hadn't she?

Crap. Crap. Crap. Okay, she could do this.... mabey. Lani bit her lip and thought. Okay. On the plus side, he was cute and he was nice and they had alot in common and girlfriends got kissing rights. The down side-- she wouldn't be able to flirt with other guys aaaand.... well that was about it. But that was a big reason. Well, in her mind anyways.

Leilani fidgeted with the hem of her skirt and blinked some more. "I... uuuhh...." SAY SOMETHING STUPID!! "Yes." :blink: Holy cheese, she just said yes. But-- but... Somehow, she felt like she'd been trying to say no.

Moments felt like hours as they looked at each other, Josh waiting for an answer. Yet, of course, he was not complaining about it. He could watch her forever here in this room if he knew that she would not get bored. That was a risk he would never take. He did not want her to be bored, he did not want her to be bothered by anything. If something was bothering her, he was ready to fight whatever it was, like that Durmstrang boy.

Then the moment had come! She spoke! And when she spoke Josh felt like his heart could stop beating any moment out of excitement and happiness because it probably could not beat any faster. She was not upset that he loved her. Quite the opposite, it looked like she was glad that he did. ''And you have no idea what more i would like to tell you...'' like that he adored her smile, like that every night in the dormitory he found himself thinking about her and more things like that.

Yet, he did not voice any of those thoughts and only smiled at her. And being so close to her gave him a sudden idea that had come as an instinct. ''I...Rose.'' not now. That idea could wait. So, still smiling the boy tightly hugged the Slytherin girl. ''I cannot imagine a life without you''
