Hecate did not step into the room, she merely locked them in.

As the two walked into the room, both their wands disappeared. Later they would find out their wands were in their nightstands, by their beds. Before the two could realize their wands were gone, three lemon meringue pies flew straight to their faces, and behind that, bowls of spaghetti and meatballs with lots of tomato sauce, behind that whipped mashed potatoes...

Hearing the door close JD turns around to face...the door. "Huh?" About to reach for his wand when suddenly he was hit by pies and sauce dripping with food once again.

Spluttering he lifts his eyes to meet Simons.

Simon heard the door close but didn't see the Professor anywhere, suddenly he was hit in the face by a pie. "What the.." Simon wanted to hide somewhere. "JD were in detention why did you throw the pie?" Simon didn't want to believe that the Pie had flown on it's own, that was impossible right?

Spluttering Simon realised that JD couldn't have throw the items because then his hands would have been all messy. "JD what's going on?" Simon asked. "I'm really scared." He was worried a monster made out of food was going to come and have a go at them.

Immediately after the mashed potatos, warm, juicy pumpkin pasties came at them from different directions. Huge blobs of banana pudding followed by waves of butterbeer, flowing straight at the boys and getting beginning to fill the sealed room.

Simon tried to avoid all the food that was flying around the room, but he couldn't and the room was starting to full up with food which was scaring him a bit. "This is cool." Simon laughed as he looked at the food. "Soon we will be able to swim in the food and I've always wanted to do that." Simon smiled as he looked at JD. "We might as well make the most of this situation, it's not like the Professor can hear or see us, the door is locked and I don't see a camara anywhere." Simon laughed. "Do you?" He was hoping the Professor would come into the room soon though or when she did Simon might be in tears, he was really hating it he was just acting cool in front of JD, he didn't want JD to think Simon was a cry baby or anything.

"Why did I throw the pie?" he cries out as another pie hit square in the face. He had never expected for detention to be so...so...tasty?

Yep, he liked butterbeer, and now that they were being drenched in it, he soooo tried to hold back the giggle. The food and butterbeer washing over them, he couldn't believe how much it had already filled the room. Oh dear Merlin, he sure hoped they wouldn't have to clean this up not when it was already almost knee deep.

"The most of it?" he asked turning toward Simon, shaking his head. "I don't see anything good coming from this I don't think this is the end either...only the beginning."

As if that wasn't enough, split pea soup began pouring from the sky along with hot chocolate. A spray of whipped cream shots in the boys faces... now the food is waist level.

Simon looked at JD, "I think you were right." Simon sighed as the pea soup and the hot chocolate came pouring down from the sky. "It's like it's raining." Simon sighed, then he was hit in the face by some whipped cream, suddenly he realised that the mess was at his waist. "I do....n...'t w....a....n...t t...o d...i....e." Simon cried, if the food kept coming in at this rate it would be above him in no time. "JD what we going to do?" Simon looked up at his hero and waited to see what he said.

Ewww! ok, he'd just gotten hit with the most disgusting stuff, split pea soup. Now that he couldn't stand, making a face, he felt hot drops of Hot Chocolate dripping on him. Sinking down in the stuff to keep from the hot liquid from burning his skin, he tilts his head downward feeling it land on his hair instead.

Looking up at Simon as he cried out. "I don't think we're gonna die, she just wants us to know what it's like to get pummeled with food, professor style." His eyes lighting up, I bet she's showing us we were supposed to use our wands instead!"

Feeling and tasting the whipped cream whipped at their faces, he licks his lips. Mmmmm. "We'll just have to swim if it gets too deep. You can swim right?"

Simon looked at JD. "Are you sure?" Simon was getting fed up with all the stuff that was hitting him, it was getting hard for him to see, he used his hand to wipe away some of the whipped cream from his eyes. "Yeah, I can swim." Simon smiled, he was glad that JD was there otherwise he would have cracked ages ago.

... was he? Sure? Because huge broccoli trees came from different directions, splashing the split pea soup/hot chocolate/pudding/pie/pasta sauce stuff on the boys. The broccoli was coming down so fast some of them even seemed aimed at them. Steamy mashed cauliflower, purreed with whole cloves of garlic, seemed to be following the broccoli. The stench of garlic was good to those who liked it for the first few minutes... but after that... the odor was nasty. Now raw ground beef was being flung into the room, followed almost immediately by raw eggs... Yup, you got it. Steak Tartar. Now the food was at their shoulders.

He could see that Simon was getting worried, the younger boy looked terrified, and JD didn't know what else to really tell him. The younger boy starting to sink more into the soup then him, with JD being taller, he shook his head. Simon said he could swim, but how long could he go on.

The stench of the garlic was disgusting, and he knew it was going to take a lot to get the smell out. Dodging out of the way of one the brocolli trees he slips into the food, coming back up for air, dripping even more so, he wiped the food from his eyes and face, so he could see. "Professor, at least let Simon out please. I get it that we shouldn't have gone to muggle behavior."

Helping Simon he grabs his arm, trying to keep his head above the muck.

Simon was scared now, surely she wasn't allowed to kill them right, well he hoped that she wasn't allowed too. "Professor, I'm really sorry." Simon cried. "We shouldn't have thrown foods like muggles do." Simon sighed as more food came flying down at them.

Simon dived under the food to try and avoid one of the brocolli trees as soon as he came up for breath he couldn't believe how nasty the room smelt, it was disguisting, Simon quickly wiped his face and eyes so that he could see and then whiped his nose and mouth so that he could breath.

Simon was glad that JD was trying to get him out and was helping him because at this rate the food would be above his head in no time. "JD I d..o...n'....t w...a...n...t t..o d...i...e!!" Simon cried, he was getting very nervous now.

A trap door opens in the floor, and the food starts funneling downwards... the undertow is very strong and starts pulling them to the center of the room.

"Simon you're not going to die, trust me!" he replied as Simon started to freak out. That he was sure of, when all of a sudden something started to happen, and it wasn't ice cold ice cream now pouring down over their heads.

He watched as the food started going down quickly JD sighs with relief, the food was finally disappearing little by little. When suddenly he felt himself sliding along with it, trying to grip with his feet somehow, grabbing at air as he fought to keep from going in down he cries out as his feet go out from under him.

Floundering in the mess as it headed toward the middle, still fighting to get his feet back under him.

Simon was so glad that JD was with him, otherwise he didn't know what he would have done. "I believe you JD." Simon said as he waited for the next lot of food that would come but for some reason it didn't.

Simon wondered if that was the end of it as the food started to disappear but then he felt himself starting to go down with the food, he quickly grabbed hold of JD's arms so that he was sucked down with the food. "JD what's happening." Simon asked as he tried his hardest to not get sucked down well he had no idea where.

Feeling Simon grab ahold of his arms, he hopes that Simon had a good grip, because his grip was gone, his feet only slid in the muck as it flowed toward the middle of the room. "I don't know!" he cried again as he he felt his legs being pulled closer to the hole in the center of the room.

The hole stopped itself up... and the floor was now a mess with all sorts of food all mushed around. Hecate opened the door and walked in. "You boys haven't started eating yet? Go on..." She said pointing to the meshed up food on the floor.

Simon was glad when the Professor openned the door, maybe she was going to let them go when suddenly the Professor told them to eat of the floor, Simon wanted to say WHAT!! but decided against it, he just wanted to get out of the room, so he started eating the food of the floor.

His feet only inches from the hole, when everything stopped flowing toward the center of the room, his arms still being held by Simon, JD looks up when he hears the professors voice. Seeing her there, telling them to eat the food off the floor he looks at her horrified. Is she crazy? Heck no, he wouldn't eat off that floor. He'd already swallowed a bunch of the stuff each and every time he went under, there was no way he was going to eat if off the floor.

Getting to his feet with difficulty, he manages to stay erect "No!" he said firmly, he really didn't care what she did, but he was not going to eat that stuff off the floor. She'd made them drink odd potions, set people on fire, terrified them, and now was demanding them eat food off the floor. Heck no!

"Professor I will be happy to clean this mess you made up, but no I will not eat the stuff." He replied with a quiet anger in his voice. He'd not even been the one to start the fight and now was told he had to eat food she'd thrown at them, she really was nuts!

Hecate stared at the older boy... "De Simpson, you may leave. You are not to start a food fight again. If you do, your punishment will be much much worse." She said, still looking at the older boy.

"Stevenson... you don't seem to have learned your lesson..." And she sent a tripping jinx to his legs.

Simon couldn't believe that the Professor had finished with him. "I'm sorry Professor, and I promise I won't start a food fight again." He then turned to look at JD he didn't want to leave without him but he didn't want to stay in the room any longer, so with a quick I'm sorry glance to JD he departed from the room.

Folding his arms across his chest as she stared at him, he was going to stand his ground. Keeping his eyes fixed on hers, not wavering even a second as Simon left. He stood there, waiting.

Not even when she said he'd not learned his lesson did he waver. However, the jinx sent at him, made him throw his arms out to try to stay upright, knowing it was helpless he landed face first into a mixture of spaghetti sauce mashed potatoes and garlic bits.

"Maybe it looks as if you are hungry after all," She said as she squatted beside him. "Show me you've learned your lesson little boy, and maybe I will let you go."

He would rather stay there than eat the food on the floor, but he was guessing Lafay possibly meant something else. "I'm not hungry." he replied with gritted teeth, lifting his head slightly, wondering if he dare sit up. A broccoli tree was now sticking out of his nose. But he didn't make a comment even with the pain of it being up there.

"How would you like me to clean this mess up?" he would not eat the stuff unless downright forced, he wasn't an animal and refused to act like one.
