Vashti. Wanted. Food. NOW.

She'd eaten a bit at breakfast, but because she'd snacked on most of her secret!candy stash in bed the night before, she hadn't been all that hungry at breakfast. Of course, by the time classes actually started, her stomach had already begun to growl and she had forgotten to put a snack in her bag for that purpose. So by the time lunch rolled around, she was practically STARVING. It was painful for the little Ravenclaw!

She was relieved only when she reached the Great Hall and saw all the glorious food seated at the Ravie table. It looked heavenly. Rushing to the nearest empty seat, which was towards the middle of the table, she plopped down onto the bench right across from another Ravenclaw who looked just as eager to eat as she was.

"Did you not eat much breakfast either?" she asked him as she began piling any food she could reach onto her plate.

Already half done with his second chicken leg and a few of his potatoes, Ty blinked in surprise as someone dropped into the seat in front of him. In all his food mania, he had completely forgotten that people may be coming. People who will be taking the FOOD. Eyes wide as he struggled to swallow, the third year watched as the girl began piling food on her plate, like he had done before.

Some girl this was. Ty kind of liked her already.

FINALLY swallowing that way too big a chicken piece, he drank a mouthful of water before grinning at the girl. "I had one toast, and it was from the small end of the bread," he said as he took a piece of a pie he had not spotted before. "You?" Ty asked and bit into the slice. FOOD. IS. HEAVEN.

Taking her fork and stuffing a couple bites of mashed potatoes in her mouth at once, Vashti's eyes widened slightly when the boy told her he'd only eaten ONE piece of toast. ONE. o_____o

Swallowing quickly and coughing slightly as the giant gob of mashed potatoes slid down her throat, she said, "Only one? How did you survive all those classes on ONE piece of toast?" Even Vashti had eaten two pieces of toast and some eggs, and she was STILL starving through those lessons. How on earth had this kid made it through on just one piece of toast?! He was stronger than she was, obviously, because she probably would've passed out or something by the end of the first lesson.

"I had two," she answered after taking another bite and swallow of mashed potatoes. "And some eggs. I can't imagine going through the morning on only one piece of toast." Seriously. This poor kid. Vashti felt like she should give him her plate to make up for his hardly-a-breakfast-at-all breakfast.

What in the world was in this pie? It was almost RIDICULOUSLY yummy! Munching happily on the meaty contents, Ty couldn't help but laugh and agree whole-heartedly with the girl's reaction. Really, ONE toast for breakfast was like... STARVATION. A form of TORTURE, especially for a guy like him who is hungry practically every moment of every day, regardless of whether he had eaten or not.

THIS time, however, he had every right to stuff his face. "I dunno! Gah, I WISH I had had your breakfast... It's just that I woke up really late and had to shower and by the time I was done, class was about to start so I only had time to grab a piece of toast run to the lesson," Ty explained, talking with his hands so animatedly that he accidentally made a few loose pie crumbs fly all over the place.

He took a final bite out of said pie and put it down onto his plate before reaching for his water. When eating, one must always remember to DRINK. It was important and it made things easier to swallow. "I'm Ty, by the way," he said with a grin after downing the content of his cup.

Having finished the mashed potatoes on her plate, Vashti eyed its bowl, wondering if she ought to go ahead and dump more on there or wait until she'd eaten the rest of her food. But after a moment's consideration, she decided she'd wait and instead listened as the boy explained why he'd unfortunately eaten only one piece of toast.

She nodded in agreement with his first statement, certainly wishing he'd been able to have a breakfast like hers. NO ONE should have to go through a whole bunch of classes on just one piece of toast. It was just horrible!

"Would you like my plate then?" she offered, picking up her filled up plate and holding it out to him. "You probably need more than one plate to make up for that lame breakfast." There was an empty plate beside her that she could use so she wouldn't starve either. Huzzah for extra plates!

Oh right, introductions. That was polite, wasn't it? Moreso than stuffing one's face when first meeting a person...though couldn't that be polite if both people were stuffing their faces? Hm. Food for thought. (Hehe, pun intended.) "Nice to meet you, Ty! I'm Vashti," she replied.

Ty laughed and shook his head as he added even MORE chicken wings to his plate. "Thanks, but I can just add more and more until lunch is over and besides, you didn't have much of a breakfast either! You need your plate - want some chicken?" he offered the bowl to her after he was done, having piled no less than ten wings onto his plate.

He was HUNGRY.

Grabbing the pumpkin juice, he poured himself a cup and took a sip before grinning over to the girl who was apparently called Vashti. "Can I call you Ti?" he asked, automatically shortening her name as he did with everyone he knew. It was such a habit for him now that he didn't even notice he was nicknaming everyone in the school.

'Course, some people hadn't introduced themselves properly so the third year had resorted to calling them by adjectives; like Weird Girl. It wasn't very original, but it made his feelings on her pretty clear so he liked it. And MAN, was she weird. Hogwarts got a LOT of those. Hehe.

He loved Hogwarts. And the food. The food's GREAT.

So, yeah. It was time for her breakfast, or lunch...whatever came first. Annie was desperate for food. And well, how can you not be desperate when you woke up late, and put on your hair a PINK and ugly headband. Yeah, she just wanted to get down to the great hall and eat something before she started homework sessions again.

Hugo looked at the table. He sat alone, he didn't have many good friends. He looked up, and saw Fee. He smiled, and went up to her. "Fee! What brings you to the Ravenclaw house table?"

Fee sat at the Ravie table kinda bored. No one wanted to talk to her?!
Saaaaad.
But then she heard a voice she knew.
"Huuugooo", she smiled.
Yay! Finally! And it was Hugo. Double Yay!
"Well, thought i should visit you", she laughed,"i was bored."

He didn't want it? Well okay. If he insisted. Setting her plate back down on the table, she eyed the chicken, wondering only for a moment if she really ought to have more. She had several pieces on her plate already but there was room now that she'd eaten her mashed potatoes. "Yeah, I think I'll have a couple more actually," Vashti replied, taking the bowl and placing a couple more chicken legs on her plate before setting it back down in its place on the table.

Chicken time! OM NOM NOM.

As she finished her first chicken leg and set the bone on her plate, she giggled at how quickly Ty gave her a nickname. That was probably the fastest yet. And one of the more original ones. "Sure if you want to," Vashti replied, grinning. "I don't mind."

"Mmmk. Good, I want to," Ty grinned and bit into his no-longer-counting-eth piece of chicken. He must have eaten the meat's worth of about FIVE chickens by now. MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH. Poor chickens... Ahh well, they have a nice life here anyhow.

Swallowing the last bite of his current piece and putting a forkful of potatoes in his mouth, Ty finally noticed that he was no so starving any more. Actually, he thought as he swallowed the delicious potatoes, he wasn't really THAT hungry, not like he was before.

Ty beamed and slowed down his eating pace, allowing himself to take a long sip from his pumpkin juice. Ahhh... That's better. That's much much better. "So, Ti, what year you in?"

Vashti grinned again and then set to work eating her chicken. After about the third or fourth piece, she decided to pick the meat off her last piece and put it on a slice of bread from a loaf available in the middle of the table. After folding the single piece over like a sandwich, she finished it off in just a few big bites and then realized how thirsty she was. She picked up a pitcher of pumpkin juice and filled up an empty cup in front of her, then drank three quarters of it in one biiiig, looong gulp. Ahhhhh, THAT hit the spot.

Feeling fuller than when she entered the Great Hall, Vashti decided to pause and let herself relax and let her body digest all the food already in her body - before eating some more. "Third year," she answered, laughing slightly at the use of her new nickname. It sounded SO cool, seriously. "What about you?"

Now where the hell was that stupid cat? Louisa dashed into the Great Hall to continue searching for Kitty. Frowning, crashing the ground with her feet as she walked and her hands clutched as fists on her both sides. "KITTY!" Seriously, this cat should stop messing around with Astor soon or it'd be... a problem to the girl to take care of a whole cat-family. Evil grin.

Few minutes of desparate failure looking should be followed by the tradition way of finding Kitty... annoying people by asking about her. "Excuse me... Did you happen to see a brownish small cat? With a pink ribbon around her neck..." Louisa glared at the pink headband the girl had, "Just like your own.." Heehee, let's hope this girl wouldn't take it as an insult.

"Well, good." So where was the problem? On reflection, Kellen thought he maybe should ask her this, "So what's the issue? If you're determined to still be friends, then that's that." And what did she mean it could be a sickness?

His eyes narrowed a little as he thought about it, "You don't... I mean honestly, I talked to Sabel the other day and he seemed fine. But I know something's up. He keeps wanting to talk to me, and definitely about something that needs easing into, but every time we get close we get interrupted. You know something I don't?"

Annie heard a small hissing around her, just as she was about to get her plate along with some bagels and a cup of hot chocolate drink. Yum. She needed that recharging of energy in her life. Also she needed to do some workout, since the last time she played soccer was when it was still warm, in other works, in august...about three monts away from the time then. UGH.

The hissing caleld for a kitty and suddenly a girl appeared in front of Annie asking for a cat, who wore the same kind of ribbon she was. "No, I don't think so...I would have seen it, since the pink colour seriously makes me feel nauseaus." She commented to the girl, hoping she'd ignore this time her headband. Please do so, since she didn't plan on wearing that thing holding her hair.

But then a couple of meows were heard. She could recognize that one cat. Her own, Copito. He had followed her all the way to the Great Hall. Oh great. She turned to give her cat a glare then back to the girl with a smile. I'm sure if HE came all the way downstairs, he can easly hear if there is other cat around here." She suggested, taking a peek towards her cat in case he went somewhere else. OR attempmted to fight against the cat that the girl guessed was around the hall.

As he popped another potato piece in his mouth, Ty suddenly realised just how WICKED their two names were together. "Heeeyyyy!! We're Ti and Ty - that's so COOL!" he grinned at Ti, all bouncy and excited. He had food, he had pumpkin juice AND he now knew a person called Ti. TITY!!

Hehe. "Ooh, me too. Although, technically it's only my second year at Hogwarts," he replied with a smile and chewed happily on a piece of pie he had forgotten he had on his plate. See, there was just so much STUFF on it that he was starting FORGET things he had put there! :O

Weird. But cool. At home, his mum NEVAH let him pile things - if he wanted more, he'd have to ask for a second helping. Which makes dinner a long process because Ty usually likes having six or seven helpings per meal.

"I guess your right," She stared at bottle, realizing that it might not be as big a issue as she had thought. Unless Sabel would want to end their friendship... No. She wasn't gonna think like that. She would find him after eating and tell him the truth and all would be well. "It was just....weird." And completely freaked her out.

Sabel hadn't told Kellen yet? Well....he had trouble telling her, so that was probably the reason he didn't know yet. Arya wasn't gonna be the one to tell him though. That was Sabel's job. "You should talk to, Sabel. It should come from him." She took a sip of her pumpkin juice.

"Well, nothing like your teenage years being awkward to make you look forward to adulthood," Kellen supplied. Morgana knew he was starting to pull at the leash to get out into the world. He raised an eyebrow at her, "I know, I've been trying to. Is..." A frown appeared on his face and stayed there, "Is it really that serious? Whatever it is?"

She thought becoming a teenager meant she would get to stay out later, and other muggle things. Not her best friend liking her. Sobering a bit, she averted her eyes to the food on the table. "Its...really serious." She said softly, reaching for the pasta. "I really think you should find him. He's gonna need your....support." He was gonna need much more than that. Maybe Kellen could find the words to comfort Sabel.

Vashti laughed at both the revelation of their name similarity and Ty's excitement over it. "Ti and Ty. Ty and Ti. Ti Ty. Ty Ti," she said, grinning widely. "That's just SOO fun to say! C'mon, try it!" Names shouldn't normally be this much fun to say, but they just were. They went together like Bonnie and Clyde, like peanut butter and jelly, like salt and pepper, like bacon and eggs...

Aw man, she was hungry again.

Taking a couple slices of bread, Vashti stuffed one whole slice in her mouth - which wasn't the best of ideas because Ty was speaking again. "Thafs smoolanf- ack!" Quickly grabbing her pumpkin juice, she used the rest to wash the bread down, coughing slightly as it went down the wrong way.

Okay, so talking while eating bread was not a good idea. She wouldn't be trying this again.

Finally, when she managed to collect herself from her coughing fit, she cleared her throat and said, with a small laugh, "Well that was a bad idea."

Really serious. He wasn't entirely sure when the back of his throat had gone and dried out on him, but he didn't make any move to drink more water. Even though Sabel probably would have come right over, had he actually been in the Great Hall, that still didn't stop Kellen from looking around for him. Just to make sure.

"You... know where I could find him right now?" Besides the Gryffindor Common Room because he wasn't allowed in there, obviously.

"Somewhere outside," She moved the food around on her plate. Thinking about the places that Sabel would be. There wasn't many places that Sabel hung out in that she didn't know about. "Or in the defense training room. Tate mentioned something about helping him with training." She shoveled food into her mouth when feeling tight knots in her stomach.

Kellen nodded, getting up from his seat, "I'll try outside first. Thanks, Arya." He went to go, then paused, "Do you ah..." How could he phrase this? "If I find him, do you want me to talk to him about... you two? Or would you rather do that yourself?"

Maybe Arya could eat when she was feeling tense, but the sudden worry in his stomach had quite effectively drained his appetite. Not that he'd had much of one in the first place.

Pushing more food around on her plate, she swallowed the bit in her mouth. "Um....you can." It might make it easier for her. "But talk about his.....thing first. It much more important." Her voice was quiet as she pushed more food around on her plate.

"All right..." Kellen regarded her carefully for a moment, as if trying to figure out what it was by her expression, but then shook his head slightly and headed out of the Hall.
