Yay! Maddie was BACK at Hogwarts! She was so excited, it was unbelievable. Five weeks ago, she'd thought she was DOOMED to an entire life in France. But her mother had given in, and then left, so now here she was. Whoopee! Finding herself a seat at the Ravvie table, she grabbed a piece of cake and began to eat.
She wondered where her friends were... probably all at the Slytherin table. It was odd how all her friends were in Slytherin. Well, nearly all. Timothy was a Ravenclaw, though he wasn't just a friend. He was her BOYfriend. Hehe. Now, where was he? That was a GOOD QUESTION.

Enya still found the whole scene hilarious. Priceless should she say? But other then the whole incident of the fur and food and drink, she still remember'd she really wasn't on real talking terms with Louisa. She knew she should make up with her, but she couldn't seem to make herself utter the words. What was the point? Louisa probabaly hated her.
But the more Enya thought on the matter the more of the fact Louisa continuious sort her out to chat - after she had been mean to her. Weird. She thought peeking at the younger girl. She was no longer laughing, but she was NEVER going to forget this moment. EVER. This. Moment. Was. Priceless. While she sat at the table - ignoring the prefect because he annoyed her - she planted this scene in her head for later reference.
While she was minding her own buisness - well sorta, she had just been in a small fight - she heard the younger girl call all this a food-throwing-party. A what!? she giggled. Louisa certainly had weird ways of viewing things. Enya peeked up at the girl, "A food-throwing-party?" She asked in disbelief. There was no way the prefect would fall for that! But before she could add anything she younger girl was telling all that the fur was her fault.
Detention, she could smell it. Ah the joy of having fun in school. Causing trouble. Haha. What more Louisa was trying to help Carin, trying to pull off all the fur. That so would not work - Enya told herself watching the girls. She laughed again. The image was so funny. She knew she should help them, but she couldn't bring herself to. Carin after all was her worst enemy.

There was food and juice and... was that fur in that girl's hair? Merlin. What a display for their guests. He supposed it was too much to ask that they behave themselves for more than the first few moments of a term.
"You," he said, gesturing to the group that the Prefect had addressed. "will all explain yourselves. Now." His voice was stern, as was his face.
"Names and years, first," he added, seeing as they appeared to be new. Or, at least no one who had attended his class before.
Louisa's heart fell when Enya repeated her lie in disbelieving voice. Couldn't she just work with her on this for once? Gosh! She was annoying herslef. "Yeah, well, I meant it was not precisely a fight. That's what it meant." She murmured to Enya hoping that the prefect wouldn't hear this. The Great Hall was such a crowded one after all and the odds of not hearing her were high.
And what on earth was so funny that Enya had to wipe her tears away? Well, maybe Louisa would laugh if she weren't the one who made the fur grew on Carin. She pressed on the wand underneath her robes as if to hurt it. It was all its fault after all. Charms were no longer her favorite subject. Stupid incantations don't work for everyone! Scowl. "Would you just take a break from your laughing session and help us out before someone else show up?" Louisa told Enya reaching out for Carin's fur again. "I have no desire on having a detention before knowing what my classes are." She added bitterly.
But instead of helping Louisa, Enya hugged her. Seriously hugged her? Louisa blinked twice while she was being hugged, and the shock was too much to let her hug Enya back. Okay, now this confirmed that this school was enchanted!
"Er… Thanks but.." What's the hug for? She added in her head. She couldn't ask it to Enya, she'd change her attitude immediately and would say this was all emotion-free thing or whatever her bursting out last time meant. She ignored her 'but' and tried to pull the fur out of Carin's shoulders again wishing from the core of her heart that she could do it before someone showed up.
And her wish wasn't accomplished, for someone indeed showed up. Louisa could sense the presence of someone by the tall shadow that was created upon her. Slowly, she turned around to see this tall man speaking stiffly to them. No, not speaking... ordering them. She took two long back steps quickly, preparing herself for the run when needed. Do they spank in this school? The idea shot through her mind and her heart gave another leap. It's been doing it a lot tonight. Odd, eh?
"I...er.." She started but her mouth was so dry suddenly, she swallowed and glanced sideways at Enya and Carin. She could confess the fur thing but they had to say that they were the ones who started this throwing-food-party. Well logically, no one would hurt people by fur, would they?
Deep Breath.
"Sir, I caused this fur thing. And I'm sorry, I only wanted to help." She said honestly trying to ignore the question of names and house. The man could fix the fur and they all would sit down quietly. Everyone's happy! Aaah what a brilliant imagination little girls had.

Enya looked up at the teacher again, she saw he was waiting for an answer, well she'd give him her name and such, and tell him it wasn't her fault! "And this.." She gestered around them, "Was NOT my fault!" There she had said it!
Preston narrowed his eyes at the girl. "Miss Mayberry, I desire an explanation, not a defense or denial." He crossed his arms over his chest and raised an eyebrow.
"From the beginning. How did this," he paused, "mess, come to be?"
Turning his attention, then to another of the students, he allowed his features to soften only slightly.

"Thank you for your honesty," he said, turning back to give a pointed look at the girl who had gone straight for denial, which, in his experience, almost certainly implied guilt. "Can you tell me what you did to cause the fur? It will be easier for me to reverse it."
He turned then the prefect. "Mister Leone, can you tell me what you saw transpire?"

Daniel wasn't sure what to say. He wasn't used to talking to so many people. But this girl was Sapphie's friend so he would try "Nice to meet you Feenella. Do you mind if I call you Fee?" he asked. Because that was short. Feenella had three syllables. No name should have more then two.
Daniel seemed to a bit stressed. Fee wonderd why.
"Nice to meet you, too.", she beamed a smile showing her perly white theeth.
She giggled as he asked about calling her Fee.
"Oh no not at all, most of my friends call me Fee."

"So, are you enjoying the feast so far?"

They were in trouble. Deep trouble she guessed. And trying to say it wasn't her fault hadn't help either. What was she to say!? Say it was all her? Ha. No way! Enya instead looked between the teacher, Louisa, Carin and Skye. Wondering what they would say. If all their stories were different they were in deeper trouble. But she wasn't going to confess. Why should she, she'd done nothing wrong.
Enya brushed some mroe food off her robes, wishing she could go get changed. NOW! Gah, she hated how she looked at the moment, really not the best look for her. And her make-up was running in the corners. SERIOUS PROBLEM! She eye'd the teacher, angry at him for keeping her there, she'd done nothing wrong!
She opened her mouth, casting Louisa a look, and began to say - lifting her finger to point at Carin. "She started it!" She cried glaring at the girl. How she hated her. It was HER fault she was covered in food! "She tipped Pumkpin juice on me first!" She next said turnig to look at the teacher.
"See im innocent..." She tired saying, not really caring if she'd get told off for being rude. Who cared!? Enya peeked back at Carin. "Then she tipped food over me!" She pointed at her clothes and cried. "Look what she did to my brand new robes!" She continued to glare at Carin. She'd pay for this, heaven forbid she would.
"I did nothing wrong!" She lied. She would NOT say how she tipped Pumpkin Juice over Carin as a pay back.

Tyler Adams was by nature not a quiet person. In fact, really quiet people kind of freaked him out with all their silent brooding and being all closed and non-talking, therefore Ty was hardly ever quiet. He preferred the loud, happy yelps of delight because he found them kind of soothing.
But here he was, on his first evening back in the castle he simply adored, talking to absolutely no one. In all honesty though, he hadn't really been trying to hard since for the past fifteen minutes he had been completely engrossed in people watching at the Ravenclaw table.
There were two things that interested Ty the most. One - those people who wore different robes. Being of small statue than many, Ty hadn't quite managed to push through the throngs of people who were talking to them - granted, he hadn't tried very hard but still - so he was still completely clueless as to who they were and what they were doing in his beloved school. He enjoyed the people in Hogwarts and he objected to any other people coming in and disturbing the lovely system.
Then, there was that group of girls who were absolutely HILARIOUS. See, there's this one girl who thought the other was rude, and then SHE said that she wasn't being rude and they began bickering while talking to others at the same time and then they started a FOOD FIGHT (which Ty had been sorely tempted to join) of sorts. Now, a Hufflepuff prefect had arrived -speaking of Hufflepuff, he needed to go see Lo and ask her if he grew in the two last weeks of the holiday- and told them off.
Oh, eep. Professor Kingsley had now joined. Ty quickly averted his eyes back to the really pretty foreign girls so that he wouldn't get picked on to spill on what happened. Those girls were mental and he didn't really want to get into their whole mess.
Plus, Professor Kingsley kind of scared him ever since last year and that incident with the swamp. Yes, he had provided them with towels and everything but he had still seemed really stern and scary and just... Well, actually, he wasn't NEARLY as scary as Professor Potions. She had been TERRIFYING.

Grayson had smiled at Noel again as he accepted her reasoning for leaving, responding to his comment about seeing her later with a nod, and had turned to leave when she heard Aleksandra speak to her again. And it seemed she'd succeeded in piquing the older Durmstrang girl's interest with the comment about the irregularity with the dorm security. "Not before this term. But then I hadn't really come here before last term, as a third year. This term definitely seems like it might be more advantageous to try though," she said to the other girl, honestly. Finding the curious look she'd been given highly entertaining. Not to mention she figured being honest now didn't really damage her earlier comment. It was almost like she had power right now, and it was mostly just because she knew the old stories backwards and forwards. And last term there hadn't been Finn and Jimmy to talk to about things. All the boys she'd known had been in the other houses, mostly.
So the younger girl hadn't tried going into the boys dormitory. Maybe she would have to atempt it herself....or have another one of the students to try for her. Yes, that sounded like a better plan. She had promised Zitnik that she would behave. The young woman gave the girl a small nod. "Thank you for the information. I'll see you around the castle." Especially since the two would be in the same housing together. She watched the girl leave to speak with someone else before turning her attention back to the boys surrounding her.

"Oh I'm Daniel Evans" he introduced sticking out his hand for the girl to shake. Hopefully she would and it wouldn't just hang there in the middle of the air.
" So,..um..looking forward to the tournament?" he asked. He wasn't sure what to say now that introductions were over.
"Its nice to meet you, Daniel. That is a nice name." She wasn't just being nice to the boy either. Daniel was a wonderful name for a boy. Extending her hand, she gave his a small shake. "I am looking forvard to the tournament. I hope to meet some of your champions soon." Sparing the hall a quick glance, she turned back to the boy. "vhat year are you."

"Long and tiring..." he repeated softly to himself more than to Aleksandra, thinking of just how long and tiring the walk up to the Ravenclaw tower may be. Chuckling, Noel made a quick glance up to the long table in the front, first spotting his Headmistress before seeing the man in the middle stand up. Hmm, what was this? A speech? He supposed that it would have been appropriate, but really, he just wanted to food to come.
Clapping as his Headmistress's name was announced, he sat quietly in almost an impatient way, waiting for it to be ov- FOOD! "Très magnifique!" Oh, delicious food. Delicious, french food. He had spotted a few dishes he recognized from his own school plated out beautifully along the table, as well as others he'd never seen before. "Ladies first." he gestured for Aleksandra to take whatever, his own eyes shining as it landed on one of his favorite dishes. But, it was always ladies first.
Ah, a speech! Turning away from Noel momentarily, she listened to the Hogvartians Headmaster make his speech. She wasn't too interested in the speech, but maybe it would lead to them dining soon. Her eyes glided across the table as the man spoke, taking in every one of the professors who would tought at the school.
FOOD!!
Her eyes scanned the table as the food magically appeared before them. She could see why they put so much work into decorating their hall, the food looked and smelled magnificent. Sandra wasn't sure where she wanted to start. Smiling sweetly at Noel, she nodded and began to help herself to a few dishes. "I'm glad to be dining with such a gentleman." Done adding food to her plate, most that where common to her home country, she took a sip of her drink. "You may call me Sandra if you like, Noel."
Sandra's attention was diverted when the students started behaving like animals and one of the professors had to come over and handle the situation. She was not surprised by their behavior, just the fact that they were acting this way so soon, the term hadn't even begun. None of the surprise showed on her face, however, her expression nonchalant. "The children at this school are not vell behaved." She commented, inclining her head towards the group. They certainly did not act like that at Durmstrang.
Maddie giggled and took another bite of her cake. 'Trueee, but I think it'd annoy me too much' she amitted, thinking about it. It would totally annoy her sooooo much. Like, what if she wanted to hide, for whatever reason. It'd be a nightmare! Cause she'd have a huge sign above her head that would show everyone where she was. And that would suck majorly.
Awwwh. Her... statements... were still not working. Shoot! 'Okay, okay, I'm fibbing just a little. But I'm sooo totally sure that there is someone out there shorter than you!' or Selena could just wear heels all the time, you know? Though Maddie doubted she'd everr get Selliee into heels. 'Well. I don't want to be freakishly tall' she said with a smile.
She wanted to be NORMAL. Normal was cool!
Selena's eyes widened when she saw what Maddie was eating. Cake. "Cake is good for you," she said, she had just told Diggy the same thing. Cake was really good for you!!! "Then maybe it should be a hat, so you can throw it out when someone's looking for you," Selena pointed out. Then Selena can take it and pretend to be Maddie... minus the dresses of course.
Selena's eyebrows rose. "Uhm... just a little...?" she teased. "I know there are but I'm still short!!" Selena pointed out. Weeh. go short people. Pffft. Tall people will one day go extinct. Selena was fifty percent, no seventy five percent sure of that. "You're not freakishly tall... you're just... tall," Selena said. "And I'm just vertically challenged," she added. Yuuup. Her new excuse.

She followed Bradin's gaze, although he was probably looking at the girls she wasn't. Actually he might've been looking at the boys, she didn't know, maybe he wanted a new, older, best friend ? Shrug, maybe she'd ask him later.
California personally didn't see anything wrong with her comment. "Yes. Fine." she rolled her eyes. PSHT. Top ? "Before I say this, one this is just to stop you moaning, two, Justin whatshisface should be at the top and those Durmstrang guys would be very close second your maybe, 4th....5th ?" she smirked. "Here goes nothing. Bradin, you're totally hot and Im dying to kiss you." She wouldn't mind kissing him, because kisses were awesome but no way she was dying to kissing him. "Happy ?"
Bradin couldn't resist temptation to stare at the girls. Why did he have to be only a fourth year. But he was an extremely gorgeous fourth year. Had none of them noticed his distinct cuteness? Obviously not. O wells. He'd just have to show them he was.
He looked at Callie. He smirked when she mentioned the two reasons she was pausing. Ok, who was she talking about. Justin whatshisface. Was tha meant to be Justin Hendricks? Yeah right. She'd probably never met him. Justin Bieber? Those were the only two Justin's he could think of. He'd ask some other time who it was. "Fourth or fifth? Er....I don't think so. Second or nothing. No way am I ever fourth or fifth. I'm always in the top three" he replied. Then she finally said what he wanted. He smirked triumphantly. "Much happier"

Enya stood behind them, she had wanted to talk to Bradin alone but hearing that girl say that she was dying to kiss him and then hearing Bradin say that made him happy! That broke her heart. Eyes welling up with tears, she picked up the nearest pitcher of pumpkin juice and dumped it all on Bradin's head. Her stomach was killing her and she could barely lift the pitcher. It dropped from her weakened hand and she collapsed on the floor, passing out from the pain of the curse having been magnified by her heartbreak.
Daniel seemed to a bit stressed. Fee wonderd why.
"Nice to meet you, too.", she beamed a smile showing her perly white theeth.
She giggled as he asked about calling her Fee.
"Oh no not at all, most of my friends call me Fee."
One streak of her gold blonde hear fell into the wrong place and Fee twirled it around her finger.
"So, are you enjoying the feast so far?"
Daniel nodded as he helped himself to a chicken leg. Fee was good. Most of her friends called her Fee. That made sense "Why wouldn't they? Its a wonderful nickname" he said . It was. It was so different. Unlike Daniel. There must be like ten Daniels in hogwarts.
"The feast? Yeah the feast is good. There's no food quite like hogwarts food " Daniel said adding some potato salad. Boy was he hungry. He hadn't eaten since breakfast." So are you in Ravenclaw?" Daniel asked before biting into his chicken leg.

"Our champions? Are sure you havn't met any yet. Our ones are any sixth or seventh years who want to take part" he explained. Maybe the girl didn't know. Or maybe he had got the statement wrong. Enya thought to what she would have been doing without sitting with them. Eating alone, which she had planned. But this was better, in a way.
Enya had began to enjoy the meal, tucking in here and there. Talking with Louisa and Skye. About family - not her's - and themselves. She had began to learn something of them, and she thought it kind Louisa still rememeber'd she had lost her notebook. Though it now sat in her bag - she hadn't found it like she said. Just got a new one, but promised her mothers friend to look and send it on if she could. Enya hoped Katherine kept her promise, she had been the only true friend of her's while she grew up.
She had been ignoring Carin though the meal, she annoyed her. She didn't want to talk to her. But when she tipped the juice on her she had fipped. Enya had tried to keep her temper in, she hadn't been expecting to, she hadn't even expected herself to hit Carin. But she did, she had never done that to someone before, it was new to her. But she liked to impack on the girl. Enya smirked.
But now the girl was having a go at her for shouting at Louisa. What was her problem!? First she was talking about her - right in front of her! - then tipped juice over her, after being rude towards her. She deserved what she got. She placed her hands on the table before her. "I know what Louisa was doing!" She said first, "And this didn't concern her so i said so. Is that a crime?" She asked innocently, smirking. Carin wasn't going to win this one. heaven forbid she would NOT!
WHAT!?? She was telling her she didn't do it on purpose. Enya didn't believe her, she HAD done it on purpose. She'd say so. "You did!" She cried jumping upi from her seat, close places and such bounched way from her angerly. "You tipped the juice all over me on purpose" She next said, equally angry. She glared at Carin. "You deserve it!" She told the girl forcefully. Enya leaned across the table to pick up a full jug of juice. She brought it close to her body, smirking at Carin.
But before she could do anything with the jug Carin was surrendering. What!? Just like that? Ha. She must be a chicken, Enya thought mentally keeping a tally. Enya; 1, Carin; 0. She liked the sound of that score - she was winning. Brillient. Enya placed the full jug in front of her on the table, looking at Louisa and Skye. She was looking for there reactions to the scene before them. Nothing. She turned back to Carin and watched her give her a mock bow, she nodded slightly.
Enya had been about to take a seat, she could tuck into some more food. Have some more drink. After all she did have a juice jug in fornt of her. But before she could she watched Carin...trip...it was like slow motion to her. So was the basket of flying food flying her way. She didn't have time move, instead she was covered with food. FOOD!?
She looked down at her robes in horror. Gone with the wet robes, in with the dirty food covered ones. Why was this happening to her!? Of all people, i should have happened to Carin. NOT HER! She balled up her fists and stared at Carin while she when through the crusade of being a clumsy girl. Yeah right. She did this on purpose. But she didn't bother telling her that! She'd get no where. Oh this time Carin was going to pay.
Before she could do anything she was listening to the girl asking her to help clean her up like some baby. The thought brought more angry to her. She shot towards the girl. "Don't touch me" She was really angry now. "YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!" She shouted suddenly Carin was going to pay, Enya thought. "Your going to pay for this" She told the girl.
Before she knew it her hands were creepying towards the jug of juice sat in front of her. Taking it in both of her hands and threw the WHOLE contence over Carin's head. She placed the jug back onto the table ans smiled. Carin was covered from head to toe in juice. Result.
"Told you you'd pay"

Till she saw Carin standing up facing the mad little girl, Louisa's eyes widened in terror and stood up too looking around in embarrassment. This scene attracted some nosy people, no doubt, she crosses her fingers that they wouldn't be some gossip-freaks. She could do with staying out of troubles in her first night at Hogwarts. Roll eye. With Enya as a friend, that's next to impossible.
"Guys! Ease down, please!" All she could say while the girls shouted at each other, then Carin swallowed the anger so perfectly and suddenly. Louisa blinked when she heard her apologize and trying to fix the mess Enya's robes were in. "What a skillful spell! Can you teach me that?" She exclaimed when the wand made the robes clean and bright. Not for long though. Accidently Carin sent some crumpets on a journey to no one but Enya... again. Louisa's inner conscious shouted, Does this girl try to get killed on the first night or something?
Knowing that Enya might attack any moment, she preferred to get up and partially hide behind Carin with a napkin in her hand, "Gosh! Let me help you with this, Enya. I'm sure Carin's too tired tonight." She lied. Bloody hell this Carin girl is lot more mischiefer than Enya, she said in her head, I think we have a winner then. Still standing next to Carin and hiding her right part of her body behind the girl, Louisa kept scanning those who found this incidents as nothing but a joyful play. And she gave them a frown.
Looking back at the two fighting girls, Louisa let out half-giggle before supressing it. Carin was covered in juice, not her robes. Worse. Her hair and shoulders. Enya had taken revenge then, she moved away slowly waiting for a volcano to burst and determined on staying out of this.
Or not.
She pulled out her napkin and looked at both of girls, both need serious cleaning and both aren't so nice. What to do? Oh yeah! Try that spell Carin's just done to Enya. Heart jumped excitedly. Louisa took her brand new wand out grinning and cleared her throat, "Don't worry Carin! I've got it." And before anyone could stop this firstie from doing the stupidest thing in her life, Louisa waved her wand and said, "Scavegy" Yeah, it definitely was the right incantation. Someone as intelligent as Louisa wouldn't miss that. Proud smile.
The juice did indeed disappear from Carin's body, only to be replaced by... fur?
On Carin's head there was fur, grey fur on top of her hair. On the shoulders too. Wha..? That didn't happen when Carin did it. Louisa panicked looking at the poor girl that has suffered the consequence of Louisa being too confident. Louisa got tongue tied.
On the other hand, Skye who should be the older girl and could stop the fight if she wanted to, stayed silent and observed it from the outside. Louisa couldn't do that. This was wasting of oppurtunities to her. An opportunity of making herself appear as the wise big girl. It was a golden one.

But she was still surprised when Louisa spoke to her, trying to calm her down...or Carin, she wasn't sure.
Enya peeked at the girl quickly and said stiffly, "Louisa stay out of it! This is between me and Carin" She looked back at Carin and smirked. Ah this was getting fun. She glared at Carin, fully aware of Louisa standing not far behind her, and Skye still sat at the table. Sometime her quiteness annoyed her, though she wouldn't say. Skye was older, needed to be treated with some respect. Ha. Yeah respect!
Enya was still confused as to why Carin backdown, letting her win. Though she was still fuming. When Louisa spoke about a spell. True it was a pretty good one. But trust Louisa to try and change the subject, Ha, not this time sweet Louisa. This was going to end once and for all. She was having too much fun. Enya began to tap her fingers on the table in frustration. She was tired and annoyed and wanted to sleep. Like that was going to happen tonight - she just thought - she had to share a dorm with Carin. Literlly share a dorm with her and other people...this was going to be BAD!
Dear God!
But before she could think further she had found herself covered with food. FOOD! Why!? Enya glared at Carin. This. Was. All. Her. Fault. She'd pay. But now Louisa was running around her trying to clean her up. God that girl was annoying. Enya snathed the napkins out of Louisa's hand, "Don't make lies for her Louisa. She did this on purpose" She indicted to her clothes. "She's doing this on purpose"
She was still laughing a few minutes later after the had covered Carin with juice when she say Louisa pull her wand out. She knew she should tell the girl not to do spell's, she was new to the school. She'd been to no lesson's, but she wanted to see what was going to happen. She didn't have to wait long, before she knew it Carin no longer was covered with Juice but with fur! FUR!? Impossible! How could Louisa do THAT! On her first day!
But the sight was hiliarious, Enya burst into fits of giggles. This was better then her act of ruining Carin's clothes. Brillient. Enya turned towards Louisa, tears of laughter rolling down her cheeks. "Alright i take it back. Thank You for inerfering" Then she went back to her laughing, looking at Carin every few minutes before laughing again. She really wasn't sure if Louisa or Skye found this funny, but she did. Carin - her worse enemy so far - was covered in fur! FUR!?
Enya was still laughing when someone joined them - she saw his prefect badge vagely, and the fact he wasn't a Ravenclaw. And he was telling them to stop, stop there's fun. It had just got to a good bit. Enya knew she was still covered with food, but she didn't care now, Carin was worse. Ha. But Enya sobered up a little.
"We weren't doing anything wrong." She demanded starting at the prefect. She hated being told what to do. But now he was going....to get a Professor...Trouble. Big Trouble. If it came to it, she'd blame Louisa and Carin. It was all their fault. She sat down, but not before she hugged Louisa for her help. This maybe over, but it still was great fun.

But then she cast a look at her clothes, the fact she had food all over them really didn't back that story up. Damn. She thought sighing.
Enya looked up at the teacher again, she saw he was waiting for an answer, well she'd give him her name and such, and tell him it wasn't her fault! "Enya Mayberry, Second Year" She said in a bored voice, dusting off some food from her robes. She really need a bath, clean herself up. Then reapply her make-up. Looking up again she added.
"And this.." She gestered around them, "Was NOT my fault!" There she had said it!

Skye bit her lip as the chaos grew more and more...well, chaotic, even drawing the attention of a prefect. Finally she'd had enough. Skye stood up and leaned forward until she was in the middle of everybody. Praying with all her heart that no one else would decide to throw food, she opened her mouth and began to speak.
"That's enough," she said. "You will all stop right now, are you trying to get in trouble on the first day?" She would have said more, but she felt someone else come up behind her. She turned to see who it was, and her stomach plummeted. It was a teacher, no doubt about it. Skye sat back down slowly. She suddenly felt nauseous again.
"Er..." she said nervously. "I'm Skye Altheim. I'm a fourth year, but I just transferred to this school. I was talking to Enya and Louisa and Carin but I wasn't really involved in...all of this." She gestured towards the mess.
Well, this was just perfect. Hogwarts wasn't making too good of an impression on her so far. Skye wanted nothing more than to just be able to leave, go somewhere where there were no people, no food fights, nothing to make her more nervous than she already was.
SPOILER!!: Teacher & Enya & Skye but no quote for the latter

Turning his attention, then to another of the students, he allowed his features to soften only slightly.
"And your name is?" Preston tilted his head slightly as he watched her. Oh, a confession, that was always helpful.

Louisa's eyes widened as she heard Enya accusing Carin. Well, she was right about Carin starting the 'fight' but obviously Enya stood up for herself well enough. Louisa wouldn't interfere in this or tell who did what. She'd keep herself out of it, although the fur thing told otherwise.
"Louisa Ki…Louisa Carter, sir." She said hanging her head in shame. The situation made her forgot her real surname and she almost used her stepdad's one and that made her close to tears. How ashamed her mother would be if she found out about her daughter being sacked in her first night! Bloody hell she should do something! Running away and hiding sounded a great idea. She started to look around planning for her escape.
Thank you? Did the professor just thanked her for being honest? She glared at his stern face for a few seconds, how could a man with such face be nice and stern at the same time? Her lips twitched in an attempt of making a smile, but failed. Time to confess completely, she made up her mind.
She didn't do anything wrong, why being afraid of telling the truth?
But Enya would be punished!
Who cares?! She was rude and always is. Enya never gave a damn for Louisa.
She said she couldn't trust anyone! And if Louisa confessed that Enya poured the juice over Carin, then that wouldn't improve Enya's wrong view of people at all!
Who cares?! Again… Louisa shouldn't make sacrifices for Enya. The girl is a snotty little girl for God's sake!
Enough of this nonsense! She was going to confess about her spell but everything else was not her business!
"I tried to use a spell I saw someone does. But I think my wand doesn't work properly." She decided to tell exactly what she did without pushing people's names or deeds into her confession. Yeah, that was perfect. Smirk! Oh yeah and it was the wand's fault not hers, she was too smart to miss. Everyone knew that.
Then she took her wand out of her robes and held it in front of the teacher as if surrendering the crime weapon. She was a dramatic little thinker. "The incantation was something like Scavengy." She said the last word in a whisper. Who knew what her wand would do if she said it out loud. And then looked up at the professor hoping that he would not interrogate her more about this fight, she was so not going to tell on her friends.
